Tyga And Doja Cat Are A ‘Freaky Deaky’ Duo On Their Flirtatious New Song

It’s been nearly three years since Tyga released an album to the world with his last effort being 2019’s Legendary. The project served as a comeback for him as he earned him an entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Taste,” which marked his first appearance on the chart since 2015. Doja Cat, on the other hand, is less than a year removed from his third album Planet Her which peaked at No. 2 on the albums chart and earned her several Grammy nominations for the 2022 award show. With that being said, Tyga and Doja brought their magic together for a second time with their latest collaboration.

Tyga and Doja join forces for their new single, “Freaky Deaky.” The track is the duo’s second song together after Tyga joined Doja for a remix of her hit song “Juicy” in 2019. The track appeared on Doja’s second album Hot Pink which also houses her sole No. 1 song “Say So” and her viral record “Streets.”

The collaboration arrives after Doja dropped an intergalactic video for “Get Into It (Yuh)” and shared a cover of Hole’s “Celebrity Skin.” Last summer, Tyga dropped a video for “Mrs. Bubblegum,” however, he did land in legal trouble afterward as he was later arrested on felony domestic violence charges.

Tyga epitomizes quality over quantity when it comes to music. More times than not, every time the California rapper drops, it’s a certified hit. Well, music fans can expect another hit this Friday. This time he’s including Doja Cat.

He took it to social media, where he shared still shots of the video starring him a Doja. Yesterday on Twitter, he posted a picture with the caption “FRIDAY 👀👀.”

Today he confirmed the future collaboration by posting another picture of them. This time, he used a tiger emoji and a cat emoji for the caption.

This isn’t the first time these two came together. Previously in 2019, T Raww and Doja dropped “Juicy.” Doja also featured “Juicy” on her album The Amala.

Tyga has always been consistent with the hits, and Doja has been on a tear lately. She recently released her new single “Celebrity Skin” earlier this month. This is her first single since she dropped her album Planet Her.

Tyga Denies Domestic Violence Allegations And Claims He Wasn’t Arrested On Any Charges

Earlier this week, it was reported that Tyga was arrested on felony domestic violence charges after the rapper’s now ex-girlfriend, fashion designer, and influencer Camaryn Swanson posted a video to her Instagram Story that showed injuries that she allegedly attained from him. TMZ reported that, on October 11, police officers were called to Tyga’s house around 3 a.m. Swanson accused Tyga of putting his hands on her. Authorities at the scene said they were able to see visible marks on her. But Tyga has denied the claims.

In a post to his Instagram Story on Friday, Tyga wrote, “I want everyone to know that the allegations against me are false. I was not arrested. I took myself into the police station and cooperated. I have not been charged with any crime.” However, a search of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department website shows he was indeed arrested on October 12 and posted a $50,000 bond. His next court date is set for February 8, 2022.

Tyga and Swanson began dating in early 2021 and they went official with their relationship in March. Swanson also shared details of the incident in additional posts to Instagram Story, writing that she was “emotionally, mentally, and physically abused.”
