Justine Skye Shows Fans Her ‘Darkside’ With Her New Album

Justine Skye will show a different side of herself after releasing her latest project, Darkside. The album, which dropped today, would be her first project since 2021’s Space & Time, which features production from Grammy award-winning hitmaker Timberland. The “Hard Work” singer took to Instagram to share the news about the release.

The project features several new songs and some other popular songs from her catalog, including a solo version of “Collide” (the original track featured a verse from Tyga). Fans can also expect to hear a sped-up version of the track on the album.

“For those of you who are new, enjoy,” she wrote on Instagram Tuesday (Janurary 31). “The ones that have been with me from the beginning feel free to dive back in. I’m so positively overwhelmed with the response Collide has gotten, and [I] wanted to give love to some of my favorites from my previous projects as I finish up this next album. Love you all, thank you.”

To accompany the album’s release, the former Roc Nation artist performed a few tracks from the new project on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Donned in a skin-tight black dress, the singer offers a more intimate performance of “Collide,” one of her biggest tracks to date, which has seen quite a resurgence on TikTok lately. The soulful singer has come a long way from her “purple unicorn” Tumblr days and is seemingly moving from behind the shadow of her famous friends, which include stars like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber. It’ll be nice to see where she goes and what she has planned for herself in the future.

Check out the tracklist below.

1. “Collide (Solo Version)”
2. “Intruded”
3. “We”
4. “When You’re Ready”
5. “Maybe”
6. “Twisted Fantasy”
7. “Do It Right

Lizzo Put The Moves On Her Wax Figure From Madame Tussauds: ‘Now I Know What A Twosome With Lizzo Is Like’

Lizzo deals with a lot of hate, but she always knows her worth. When a TikTok user made fun of her hair, she responded by saying, “This comment is hilarious, but y’all love to make fun of me. Then a year later, everybody is doing what I’m doing. This has happened time and time again. I’m proud of what I’m doing. I like it…but keep the jokes coming. Y’all are funny. I love internet comedians.”

The pop star is always proving haters wrong. Now, she’s victorious again with the unveiling of her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, which she’s sharing excitedly all over TikTok. In a funny and disorienting video, the Special performer nearly kisses her doppelganger. The caption reads: “Single-handedly one of the most terrifyingly meta moments of my life,” she wrote. “Thank you @MadameTussauds – now I know what a twosome with Lizzo is like.”

Xscape & SWV Clash In “Queens Of R&B” Trailer: Watch

They are two groups that dominated their era of R&B, and Xscape and SWV are uniting for a new reality show. Neither crew is a stranger to unscripted television, but fans will get an inside look at how they unite to rehearse for a one-night concert. The ladies know each other well and have performed together in the past, but Queens of R&B will give an inside look that not many are privy to.

Today (January 31), the Bravo network closed the month by sharing the first trailer for its new show. As expected, with so many famous voices, there is bound to be a bit of tension.

The trailer shows that much of the contention concerns who will be named the headliner. Additionally, unresolved issues from the past also creep into the present day, boiling over into uncomfortable conversations.

Still, fans of both Xscape and SWV know that the women have a longstanding respect for one another. We also celebrated them on the Verzuz stage in 2021 as they brought some of our favorite R&B jams to life in real time.
