Bill Cosby’s Publicist Catches Heat For R. Kelly “Railroaded” Comments

When we see statements or comments being made from someone’s account, we obviously believe it comes from that person. Sure, people are known to quote others, but that is, usually, made clear. However, that has not been the case with Bill Cosby, and now the public is reevaluating several of the elderly actor’s recent comments.

Within the last week, we have seen Cosby’s account post about Boosie Badazz, praising the rapper and asking the public to support his biopic My Struggle. News also circulated that Cosby believed R. Kelly was “railroaded” after his publicist stopped for an interview and told TMZ just as much, but after receiving backlash, the publicist has returned.

Another update from Cosby’s account has gone viral after it showed that not everything his publicist claims has necessarily been the actor’s opinions. Andrew Wyatt surfaced with an explanation, stating that certain sentiments are his, not his clients.

“As the publicist of Mr. Cosby, I have the right to my opinion and my opinion is not a reflection of Mr. Cosby’s. Yes, I feel that Robert Kelly was railroaded and those were my words, not the words of Mr. Cosby. I will continue to reflect my views because the 1st Amendment allows me the same privileges as the media. That you very much.”

People have accused Wyatt of overstepping his boundaries and believe he should be fired. Check it out below.

Akon Faces Backlash After Calling R. Kelly’s Alleged Crimes “Mistakes” That Can Be Redeemed

His controversial takes on pop culture and politics often cause a bit of a stir, and Akon’s recent comments about R. Kelly’s conviction followed suit. The international mogul is well-respected for his business moves, including building a city in Uganda, but sometimes, the public doesn’t agree with his assessments of hot topics.

Akon has stated that rich people have it harder than the poor, defended Tekashi 6ix9ine and worked on music with him, and said he decided not to sign Drake he sounded like Eminem. Now, Akon is giving his thoughts on R. Kelly’s conviction.

Akon was recently stopped by a TMZ cameraperson and asked about his thoughts regarding Kelly and if he believes if redemption could be in the singer’s future.

“I believe that God makes no mistakes. People can debate back and forth all day but if it’s happening to him, it’s supposed to happen to him, for whatever reason,” said Akon. “Now, that’s something that he has to have within himself to reevaluate his whole life, his way of being, because to get caught up in a situation like that, whatever happens, between him and God.”

“There is always a way to redeem yourself, but you have to first accept the fact that you’re wrong.” He went on to say that “people aren’t here to hate” and mistakes will be made. “He has the right to redeem himself from those mistakes. Even him. He has the right to try to make right by those he hurt.”

Akon added that those people who have allegedly been hurt by Kelly also have the right not to forgive him, but in his opinion, unforgiveness only increases the pain. As far as canceling Kelly and no longer listening to his music is concerned, Akon said, “At the end of the day, you cannot deny his talent.”

Jay-Z’s Closing Track On ‘Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter’ Was Inspired By Dr. Dre’s ‘The Chronic’

Later this year, Jay-Z will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of his fourth album Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter. The 15-track body of work is highlighted by records like “Big Pimpin” with UGK, “Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up)” with Amil and Beanie Sigel, and “Jigga My N****.”

During a recent episode of the New Rory & Mal podcast, The Alchemist and former Roc-A-Fella Records A&R Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua, who were guests on the show, reflected on Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter while Joshua revealed what one of Jay-Z’s inspirations was for the album.

Joshua noted that the closing song on Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter, which packages “Hova Song (Outro),” “Jigga My N****,” and “Girl’s Best Friend,” was inspired by the outro track on Dr. Dre’s 1992 album, The Chronic.

“I remember with The Chronic, ‘B*tchs Ain’t Sh*t was on the album and it wasn’t on the credits,” Joshua said. “I remember a n**** playing it in school and I’m like, ‘I can hear it, but I can never find it!’ They were like, ‘Nah, you just gotta let the album play.’”

Rory stepped in and added, “When y’all put Vol. 3 out, I remember the next day in school everyone was like, ‘Yo, did you let that outro rock? There’s three more records!’” Joshua replied straightforwardly, saying, “I did it strictly because of that, because of The Chronic.”

Jay and Dre have worked together on a number of occasions with the latter appearing on “Watch Me” from Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter. Jay-Z was also responsible for Dre’s verse on his popular record, “Still D.R.E.” Most recently, Jay’s Roc Nation imprint was responsible for recruiting Dre, along with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, as performers for the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in February 2022.

Azriel Clary Says R. Kelly Told Them What To Say In Gayle King Interview

Now that R. Kelly has been convicted and the New York trial against the disgraced singer is behind him, Azriel Clary has come forward to share her side of the story. The world was first introduced to Clary when she and Kelly’s other girlfriend Joycelyn Savage were photographed at court hearings in support of the singer, and the two women also joined him for his infamous interview with Gayle King.

Two years later, Clary sat down with King once again, but this time, she was not there to sing Kelly’s praises. Instead, she made claims that Kelly was warned by his staff not to spend time with underage girls and states that she lied through her previous interview.

Clary appeared on CBS Mornings with King and was questioned about her relationship with Kelly.

“I was lost, and I felt invisible, and I gave someone that control over me to basically make me do whatever it was that they wanted me to do and act however they wanted me to act,” said Clary. She added that in their first interview, Kelly allegedly coached both herself and Savage “to be angry and upset.”

“So we came in angry. And I was scared because I was like, I don’t want the world to see me this way, you know. I’m loving. I’m caring. I’m compassionate, and no one got to see that side of me,” she claimed. “Before that interview, he had us practicing every single day. If he didn’t like our answer, he would tell us exactly what to say and how to say it. So, any time you mention anything about sexual preference, we already know to say, ‘I’m not here to talk about that,’ because that’s what he told us to say every single time.”

Clary believed that the life she was living with Kelly was “normal,” but once she began to “break out of that” mindset, she said she realized it was “abnormal.”

Don Lemon Denies Sexually Assaulting Man At New York Bar

After reporting about several political and celebrity figures who have been accused of sexual improprieties, Don Lemon is facing allegations of his own. The popular CNN anchor has been accused of sexually assaulting a bartender in New York, and now Lemon is responding to the claims, vehemently denying any wrongdoing.

A bartender named Dustin Hice claims that while he was in the Hamptons back in 2018 he was the victim of a “demeaning, unprovoked and offensive assault” at a bar.

According to USA TODAY, Hice claims that he was out having drinks with friends when he ran into Lemon at a bar. He offered to buy Lemon a “Lemon Drop,” but the newscaster declined, and later, Hice alleged that Lemon got handsy.

“(Lemon) put his hand down the front of his own shorts, and vigorously rubbed his genitalia, removed his hand and shoved his index and middle fingers into (Hice’s) mustache and under (Hice’s) nose,” the lawsuit reportedly states. Lemon is also accused of asking Hice, “‘Do you like (vagina) or (penis)?’… While saying this, Mr. Lemon continued to shove his fingers into (Hice’s) face with aggression and hostility.”

A CNN spokesperson responded to the allegations and said, “Don categorically denies these claims.” A statement reads: “The plaintiff in this lawsuit has previously displayed a pattern of contempt for CNN on his social media accounts. This claim follows his unsuccessful threats and demands for an exorbitant amount of money from Don Lemon.”

Hice did not specify the damages he is seeking, but he claims he has suffered “severe emotional stress and loss of future earnings and opportunities.”

Ray J Started Trending On Social Media After Some Fans Realized He’s Brandy’s Brother

It’s a beautiful thing when the internet is used for good. Like helping the world learn something new, for example, rather than for negative things like cyberbullying and stan culture. An example of the former came on Thursday when a fan learned that singers Ray J and Brandy are siblings. It’s a fact that many people already knew, but better late than never to learn about it. That fan’s tweet likely came after Ray J got a tattoo of his sister’s artist logo, but their comments quickly went viral as some also learned something new as a result of it.

Others used it as an opportunity to reflect on Ray J’s biggest media moments and to remind people about the things the singer accomplished in his career.

One person recalled Ray J’s infamous interview with Complex where he claimed his Bunny Eyez glasses were indestructible, something that Complex’s Speedy Gonzalez proved incorrect just moments later during the sit-down. Another fan brought back a 2015 interview with Vince Staples on HOT 97 where the rapper asked for respect to be placed on the singer’s name due to the many things he’s accomplished in his career.

On the flip side, a number of fans had fed up reactions to people just learning that Ray J and Brandy are siblings. “I think I’m to old for Twitter because users are just now finding out that Brandy and Ray J are siblings & I’ve never been more confused on how someone can not know that,” one person wrote. Another person echoed a similar message, writing, “The fact Ray J is trending bcz people didn’t know him and Brandy are siblings is mind blowing.”

Ted Cruz Stands In Solidarity With LeBron James & Other NBA Stars

Ted Cruz is one of the more unpopular senators out there right now although he certainly knows how to get himself air time in the political sphere. In the past, Cruz has had a more combative relationship with athletes, particularly LeBron James, whom he criticized for his role in the whole China debacle that took place all the way back in 2019.

Now, however, Cruz finds himself in agreement with James and other NBA stars in light of the recent discourse surrounding vaccines. Players like Kyrie Irving, Andrew Wiggins, and Jonathan Isaac have come out against the vaccine, while LeBron has said that he himself has the shot, although he won’t be convincing anyone to get it, anytime soon.

As a result, Cruz has been praising these players on Twitter, and it has the NBA world conflicted. In the tweets below, Cruz says “I’ve never said this before: I agree with @KingJames […] @KingJames is being courageous here. With his box-office power, he could be even more courageous—he could SOLVE the problem—by saying: ‘I stand w/ my fellow players. And I won’t play in any arena that bans another NBA player because they make a personal healthcare choice.'”

The fan reactions to Cruz’s comments were certainly split as some felt like the Senator was just making the situation worse for political points. Others loved it as they feel as though this is an issue they can unite with NBA players on.

Needless to say, the vaccine remains extremely political despite it not needing to be.

Bow Wow Explains Why Diddy & Joie Chavis Romance Isn’t Serious

He has already established that he isn’t concerned with whatever romance may be brewing between Diddy and Joie Chavis, but TMZ had a few more questions for Bow Wow about his ex. We reported on Diddy and Joie being photographed by the paparazzi kissing and cuddling on a yacht in Italy. Later, the Bad Boy icon made an appearance at Joie’s birthday party, and in an interview with WGCI days ago, Bow explained why he isn’t worried about their relationship.

“[Joie and I] haven’t really been in that place for probably thirteen years. Really, that’s a homegirl, my daughter’s mom, so it’s always gon’ be respect,” he told the radio station. “But don’t think that I put a call in to talk to her about what the hell was going on. And even me and dude, we spoke about it too. That’s a conversation that I won’t share but it was a good hour-and-fifteen-minute conversation on FaceTime.”

More recently, TMZ caught up with Bow as he was waiting outside of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The cameraperson asked him about Diddy and Joie’s canoodling and how he feels about his daughter, Shai, meeting her mother’s new man.

“I don’t think they’ll get that far,” said Bow with a slight chuckle. “It won’t get that far. Nah. Only because, when you know somebody since you was 13-years-old, and when you know somebody bro, you kinda know, I kinda mean like, as far as like, you’ve been around them, we’ve kicked it, we’ve partied with girls and we’ve had pool parties. So, we know how we move when it come to the ladies.”

“It ain’t gon’ be no wedding bells and chapel or no sh*t like that, nah,” he added. “Even like, my daughter, that’s my least concern. My baby moms, we cool. Me and dude, we cool. Everybody’s grown and everybody can do what they want to do.”
