Try as they might to make their marriage work over the years, Ray J and Princess Love have decided it is in their best interest to separate (again). On her end, the poker player has been out and about with John Boyega, causing romance rumours to fly. For his part, Ray’s focus remains on building his empire and spending time with beautiful, wild women. Earlier this week, he and fellow Love & Hip Hop star Sukihana linked up, and the 43-year-old had a message, seemingly for his ex-wife, revealing what type of time he’s on in this season of life.

“Now that I’m free and I can do what I want, stop complaining,” the R&B artist told his followers on Instagram Live. “All you going to see is bad b**ches and pu**y,” Ray declared after showing Suki and other women shamelessly twerking for him. “So f**k what you talking about. We up, we so up. We don’t give a f**k,” the Mississippi native said with a straight face.

Now that the footage is circulating on blogs, followers of the former couple are sharing their thoughts. “I can’t wait till Princess pulls a Ciara and gets her a Russell Wilson,” one user encouraged the reality starlet. “Sounds like he’s trying to convince himself and not the world lol,” another said of Ray’s explicit rant.

Ray J obviously has his mind on women during this transitionary phase in his life, but not all of his thoughts are as salacious as they come across on social media. The “Sexy Can I” hitmaker is keen to strike up a TV deal with Chrisean Rock so that they can both continue to feed their families and rise to new levels of fame. She might be looking into her own [network]. Okay, cool! Look, it’s all good. I mean I got some powerhouse partners like Young Rich Mula and Stunna Girl. We locked in and they already got they network. We already helped create a whole streaming platform called Redrum TV.” Rather than having people fight for clout and money, Ray wants to help creators all have their own network so they can partner. “That’s the big play, that’s where everybody eats,” he insisted.

May 2020

Ray J and Princess Love married in August 2016 and welcomed their first child, Melody Love, in May 2018. Subsequently, their second child, Epik Ray, followed in January 2020. Unfortunately, Epik Ray arrived when things were shaky between his parents. Only four months after his birth, Princess Love filed for divorce from Ray J. Admittedly, in November 2019, the Love & Hip Hop star claimed that she would be filing for divorce. This was after Ray J allegedly left her and their daughter stranded in Las Vegas. However, most fans didn’t think she would actually go through with it, and the news took them by surprise in May 2020. Fans of the couple didn’t have to worry, however, as Princess Love later filed a request for dismissal on July 6, 2020.

September 2020

After Princess Love requested dismissal, the couple got back on track, or so we thought. While fans believed they had reconciled, Ray J completely shocked everyone when he filed for divorce in September 2020. This was just two months after Love’s request for dismissal, and it’s the last thing anyone expected. According to The Blast’s report, the singer asked for joint custody of his two children with Love, and things were looking quite real. However, he later called off the divorce in March 2021. Following this news, fans heaved another sigh of relief because the couple’s marriage had survived once again. However, unknown to the masses, there was more to come.

October 2021

In October 2021, another divorce announcement from Ray J dropped, and TMZ first reported it. They noted that, according to the legal documents, Ray J cited irreconcilable differences as the reason he filed for divorce. At this point, even onlookers were exhausted by the back-and-forth divorce drama between the two. Many expressed that they wished the couple would make up their minds and stick to a decision. However, that decision was not the fans’ call to make, and they waited to see how things would play out. Subsequently, the “Sexy Can I” singer reconciled with Princess Love and filed a request for dismissal. The dismissal was granted to him on March 1, 2023.

After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways,” Love wrote. This is the fourth time either of the two would be announcing a divorce, and it seems like it might be real this time. However, with Princess Love and Ray J, one can never really be sure.

Princess Love and Ray J may finally be done….or are they? Monday marks the couple’s fourth divorce attempt as records show that Love filed for divorce Monday in L.A. County.

Love also shared a lengthy statement with her Instagram followers:

Dear friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce.

After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways.

We want to reassure you that this decision was made thoughtfully and with mutual respect and consideration for each other’s well-being. While our relationship as spouses may be coming to an end, we remain committed to co-parenting our children and maintaining a positive and supportive family dynamic.

We ask for your understanding, support, and respect for our privacy during this challenging time. We are grateful for the love and friendship we have received from each of you throughout our marriage, and we hope to continue nurturing those relationships in the future.

Though this chapter of our lives may be closing, we look forward to embracing the opportunities for growth, healing, and new beginnings that lie ahead. We are confident that with time, understanding, and the support of our loved ones, we will navigate this transition with grace and resilience.

While most divorce filings are final, that has historically not been the case for this couple. Records show that Ray J filed for divorce in the spring of 2020 only to withdraw, Love filed in the fall of 2020 only to withdraw, and Ray J filed in 2021, once again only to withdraw.

The couple was married in 2016 and have two children: a daughter, Melody Love, and a son, Epik Ray.

Kodak Black And Ray J Beef Gets More Context As Kodak’s Lawyer Weighs In

Kodak Black and Ray J’s beef, which sparked earlier this month seemingly came out of nowhere at first. Ray J left a comment about Kodak after his appearance on Drink Champs expressing concern for the rapper. “We gotta help this dude. I took him to Trump house and he did the most. They were not happy with the experience bc he had no guidance and respect. Yo @wack100 let’s figure out how we can help this guy instead of watching him self destruct,” Ray J said. Kodak clearly didn’t take kindly to his expression of concern.

In an Instagram live discussing the situation Kodak hurled insults at Ray J while refuting that he had anything to do with the Mar-a-Lago story. Kodak insisted, though somewhat incoherently, that he didn’t need help and made physical threats against Ray J. But in a response video, Ray J took him at his word and offered Kodak the opportunity to fight, potentially for charity. The statement Kodak Black shared aimed to shed light on the situation. “Kodak was invited to Mar A Largo by Ray J for a fund raiser for another candidate, not for altruistic reasons,’ the statement begins. It goes on to explain that many of the people now expressing concern for Kodak weren’t there when he actually needed help during his time in prison looking for a pardon.
