While it may seem like the whole rap community has beef at the moment, at least one pair of feuding friends seems to have laid their discord to rest. JT and Yung Miami, known collectively as City Girls, fell out and made up over the course of several hours yesterday after a heated back-and-forth on Twitter (never X) was reconciled by something as simple as a phone call. How novel!

The tweets have all been deleted, but The Shade Room proved useful for something, capturing screenshots of the tail end of their exchange. After one last tweet from JT popped up on the timeline arguing that she has reason to be mad, Miami expressed confusion, saying “Jatavia we just got off the phone… now we back to the internet???”

Fortunately, the issue was quickly resolved. “This tweet was BEFORE the phone conversation,” JT explained. “Don’t know why it didn’t go through. Maybe because everyone was blowing up my phone!” In response, Miami declared she was “moving on,” telling her partner-in-rhyme, “I love you.” JT’s reply? “I love you more. I actually love you the most!”

Now THAT’s how you handle a falling out.

While Drake and Kendrick probably won’t be doing this anytime soon, it’s nice to see that some folks still know how to act, even if fans online love to feed into the negativity.

Yung Miami & JT Officially Make Up After Heated Back And Forth

Yung Miami has a lot going on right now. Overall, she has been wrapped up in the Diddy investigation, as she has been accused of being a sex worker for him. Although Miami has denied these claims, there is still a narrative that is being perpetuated online. Meanwhile, her and JT have been drifting further apart as JT looks to start her own solo career. Many fans have wondered if there was a beef brewing between these two, and yesterday afternoon, we ended up getting our answer.

As we reported, JT and Yung Miami got into a heated back and forth. Overall, it’s hard to pin down what the inciting incident here is. However, there appeared to be quite a bit of resentment emanating from the two artists. Saucy Santana ended up entering the conversation, and it was a whole debacle. It even took the conversation away from the eclipse, which had taken place just a few hours prior to all of this. In the post below, you can see that the two eventually apologized to one another, and even said that they love each other.

Yung Miami x JT Had The Internet Gagged

“Jatavia I love you. Im moving on,” Yung Miami wrote following the heated exchange. This was subsequently followed up by JT, who said “I love you more. I actually love you the most.” So there you have it folks. The City Girls feud ended the same day it began. While there still might be some underlying tension here, it does seem like we won’t see anymore tweets from the two, Only time will tell whether or not the City Girls ever get back together.

Even City Girls Appear To Have Beef With Each Other As JT And Yung Miami Trade Shots Online

Blame it on the election year, the eclipse, or something else, but the hip-hop world has descended into utter chaos in 2024. First, there was Ice Spice and Latto, then there was Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj. Kendrick Lamar threw shots at Drake and J. Cole; J. Cole shot back and apologized a few days later. Today, not only did Meek Mill air out his feelings about Wale but now, City Girls JT and Yung Miami are having it out on the timeline, apparently prompted by perceived shade from Saucy Santana.

Buckle up, this is a bumpy ride.

So, I guess the place to start is JT, who has been on a Nicki Minaj-esque tweet rampage for the past several hours, arguing with infamous Stan acoount Ken Barbie (please understand, all of these people need to get a life, but it’s high school on Stan Twitter 24/7, so of course, this is where it all started). Meanwhile, Yung Miami was dealing with a Stan troll of her own, and when her good friend Santana inserted himself into the conversation is where things really went left.

After telling off the stan in question (and receiving a catty reply in return), Santana tried to dismiss their return fire about Yung Miami being caught in the crossfire of Diddy’s ongoing legal drama. Unfortunately, JT apparently took his snide reference to TV shows about Diddy’s ongoing problems personally. “Your not my power of attorney sit your ass down!!!” she told him. She also took a separate tweet from Yung Miami around the same time the same way, interpreting Miami’s assertion that “A bitch been sneak dissing me for weeks” to be a reference to herself.

That opened the floodgates, and JT lit into her partner-in-rhyme, prompting a back-and-forth that is still ongoing, as of press time.

JT Not Here For Slander After Fan Says Yung Miami Carried The City Girls

JT has been thrown into the ring online as of late. The City Girls rapper and singer recently traded shots with fellow femcee GloRilla after the Memphis native dropped her debut LP Ehhthang Ehhthang. The X (formerly Twitter) spat began over these Big Glo bars on her song “Aite.” “I just pray one day the bad b****es would come together… Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’ / Know b****es always hatin’ and that they keep a secret.” Both traded insults, with JT going as far as to say Glo has “NO sex appeal.” Now, JT is vocally throwing hands with a fan after a recent take he had about the City Girls.

He tweeted out how he feels that Yung Miami has been shouldering the load of the duo, as well as JT’s career. “Acting like Yung Miami didn’t carry the city girls and save JT name is CRAZY… y’all weird tho.” JT did not let the slander slide in this case. She protected her work ethic and ensured that it was a team effort to grow their brands.

Yung Miami Was Reportedly Served With Trademark Infringement Paperwork Over The Rapper’s ‘Act Bad’ Merch

City Girls’ Yung Miami can’t seem to catch a break.

Lil Rod’s scandalous allegations against Diddy pulled the “Face Down” rapper’s name into the mountain of legal paperwork. Although she had continued to distance herself from her former beau, even denying claims of being a sex worker and allegedly transporting drugs at his behest. Somehow, Yung Miami still found herself at the center of another brewing legal matter.

Yesterday (April 6), Yung Miami was served with trademark infringement paperwork over her reported ‘Act Bad’ merchandise. A gentleman named Larry Taylor showed up at the rapper’s Houston, Texas, booking to give her a copy of the lawsuit.

In the now-viral video uploaded to his Instagram, Taylor explained that he was working on behalf of the alleged trademark owner, Charlie Cee (real name Charles Kenyatta Jr). Kenyatta, who owns Act Bad Entertainment, believes Yung Miami’s items conflicted with his company’s branding and overall likeness.

Yung Miami took to X (formerly Twitter) to refute the allegations. During an exchange with a user online, Yung Miami claimed that she never profited from the line.

In May 2023, as a member of City Girls, Yung Miami helped to popularize the phrase following the release of their collaborative song with Diddy and Fabolous.

Did GloRilla Slap JT?

This year in rap, there have already been several monumental lyrical run-ins. First, Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj exchanged jabs on wax. Then Metro Boomin, Future, and Kendrick Lamar aimed at Drake and J. Cole. After a heated conversation online, GloRilla and JT could be next.

Following the release of GloRilla’s mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, a rumor started by media personality Armon Wiggins resurfaced. Wiggins claimed GloRilla had gotten into an altercation with JT. On “Aite,” GloRilla attempted to shut the gossip down, but it backfired.

Did GloRilla Slap JT?

In October 2023, Wiggins took to his YouTube channel, alleging that GloRilla had an unfriendly encounter with JT backstage at the VMA Awards. The now-private video by the Tea-GIF co-host sparked an uproar amongst the rappers’ fans. GloRilla’s line “Slapping rap b*tches and making bail hoe” on “Yeah Glo!” only furthered the flames.

According to JT, the incident never happened. JT disputed the claim on X during an exchange with Female Rap Room.

“I been said she didn’t,” she wrote. “[GloRilla is] the one who went radio silent! [She] played into it and released a song about slapping rap b*tches. Now, it’s female unity? CORNY!”

In a now-deleted post, GloRilla refuted JT’s response. Although she agreed that she did not slap JT, she claimed they were involved in a scuffle. “What you want me to say,” she said. “I didn’t slap you? But I hit you with a purse instead. Scary ass ho.”

Based on this online exchange, GloRilla didn’t slap JT. However, the public opinion court is still unsure what to believe.

It appears another feud in rap has risen to the surface. After expressing her wish for Cardi B and Nicki Minaj to end their longstanding beef, GloRilla unintentionally found herself in a dust-up.

Yesterday (April 5), the “Wanna Be” rapper’s new mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang hit streaming platforms. On the track “Aite,” GloRilla attempted to kill off a rumor that she and City Girls’ JT had tension by rapping, “I just pray one day the bad b*tches would come together / ‘Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some f*ckin’ records / Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’ / Know b*tches always hatin’ and that they keep a secret.”

However, JT didn’t take kindly to being mentioned on the record. In a response on X (formerly Twitter), the musician took a moment to deny claims that she and GloRilla were involved in a physical altercation, which is at the root of the beef rumors. “I been said she didn’t,” she wrote. “[GloRilla is] the one who went radio silent! The hip-hop world is currently filled with beef and drama as JT and GloRilla engage in a heated exchange after JT denied any physical altercation between them. The saga unfolded on social media where fans witnessed the verbal altercation between the two. It all began when a comment under The Shade Room’s repost of JT’s tweet sparked the flame. The commenter mentioned an alleged incident where GloRilla allegedly slapped JT at an award show, to which JT denied. She stated, “SHE NEVER SLAPPED ME! EVER!!!! EVER NEVER like y’all find somebody else to play with.” This denial ignited the drama between the two rappers.

The exchange intensified as JT explained the origin of the rumor. She attributed it to GloRilla’s initial silence and apparent reluctance to shut down the story. A fan asked why Glo hasn’t cleared the air to begin with. “I guess she was waiting on her tape to address & who gone clear up going viral for slapping someone when the whole hood believed it! It was on brand!,” JT further said on X. Not one to back down, GloRilla defended herself. “Hoe shut yo dumb a** up & fix dem ugla** wigs I said it ain’t no beef ho you da one with da secret animosity.” The feud reached a boiling point when GloRilla warned JT about her upcoming appearances and hinted at her criminal record. “Don’t make me pop up at one of them Backyard BBQ shows you doing,” GloRilla said. “You feeling a way about SLAPPING RAP B**CHES AND MAKING BAIL HO. JT Gives An Impassioned Response To Drug Accusations Made In Light Of Diddy And Yung Miami’s ‘Pink Cocaine’ Allegations

There’s so much going on in Diddy’s world right now. He’s facing a sex trafficking lawsuit, two of his homes were just raided, and he allegedly got Yung Miami to transport “pink cocaine” for him. Somebody used the latter news item to make an accusation/assumption about Yung Miami’s City Girls cohort JT, and JT was not having it.

As HotNewHipHop notes, an X (formerly Twitter) user shared a video from a 2019 Instagram Live session with JT and Yung Miami. In the clip, JT briefly leaves the frame and supposedly makes a suspicious noise, which some believed to be her snorting drugs. The X user wrote, “So that’s where JT getting that shit from? Makes perfect sense now,” with the implication being that JT was getting drugs from Diddy.

JT wasn’t going to take that accusation lying down, as she responded, “First of all I was in the half way house being drug tested EVERY night I went in! I explained this YEARS ago I NEVER did cocaine & never will it actually destroyed my family! Y’all get on her making jokes about shit for shits & giggles & don’t know ppl post trauma! Stop playing with me! PLEASE.”

Another user responded, “JT i luv you but what was u doin in that live cos gurrrl???” JT wrote back, “You ever had mucus? Lol yall are something else on these apps.”
