Ice Spice Continues Music Video Shoot In Miami For Upcoming “Fart” Song

Ice Spice is hard at work on an upcoming music video, and she’s currently busy putting all the pieces together. We already saw her film some visuals near a storefront, but now, it looks like she gathered a crowd and invited them to see her dance for the camera for this soon-to-come project. The Bronx MC does her thing as always, and onlookers seem meek but still engaged with the performance, although it’s unclear if they’ll be a part of the MV or just spectated. Regardless, we’ll see whether or not this shoots her further into fame, acclaim, and success in 2024, or if last year’s breakout stardom needs a little more time in the oven.

Either way, we’re sure that the 24-year-old hasn’t lost it one bit, as evidence by her alive-and-well penchant for striking bars. “Think you the s**t, b***h? You not even the fart,” she raps on this new snippet, a bar that had fans going wild online when it surfaced. Ice Spice had plenty of those quotables all throughout 2023, and it’s great to see that she’s getting love, or at least attention, for much more than her visual aesthetics. Many doubted whether she had anything else to offer, and we can’t wait to see them proven wrong.

Ice Spice Entertains Miami Crowd For Music Video Shoot: Watch

Still, we’re not sure how much farther Ice Spice can go if she’s already made it to the top. For example, in a classic big-name celebrity moment, here’s a recent reaction from her brother to her overwhelming rise. “Defensive ends, they sack me, and they like, ‘You thought I was feeling you?’” Joey Gaston, football quarterback, told Complex. “I was playing in the semifinals of the playoffs. Second half we’re getting ready to go on the field. I hear the student section like, ‘All right, he’s coming, he’s coming.’ They start clapping and saying ‘We love Ice Spice!’ *clap clap* ‘We love Ice Spice!’ Next drive, I threw a touchdown and I went to the sidelines and I started clapping.”

Meanwhile, hopefully the “Deli” hitmaker’s producer RiotUSA wasn’t trolling during a recent interview. If he wasn’t, then we should expect her first album very, very soon. Do you think it’ll stack up to her streak of hit singles in 2023? Let us know what you think in the comments and check back in with HNHH for more on Ice Spice.

Drake Covers Metro Boomin’s Name While Promoting 21 Savage’s New Album

Drake and 21 Savage are as tight and as proven as modern rap duos get, and their bond is something pretty special. Moreover, they have a whole collaborative tape together, Her Loss, and their run of hits before that speaks for itself. As such, it’s absolutely no surprise that the 6ix God would want to promote his partner’s brand-new album, american dream, on his Instagram Story, as he did on Friday (January 12). However, while he told “his brother” to “talk to them,” the most notable part of the post wasn’t the message. Rather, it was the implicit one via emojis sent to one of the game’s best producers, Metro Boomin,

Furthermore, Drake was listening to the cut “just like me” from 21 Savage, Burna Boy, and Metro. By placing a series of talking emojis towards the bottom of the screen, though, he blocked the beatmaker’s name from appearing on the screen. This, many fans thought immediately, is a reference to the Toronto superstar’s ongoing alleged beef with the St. Louis native. For those unaware, the two have thrown shade at each other quite often in recent weeks, and it all stems from their competition to win for Best Rap Album categories at awards shows these days.

Drake & Metro Boomin Beef Seems To Continue

Of course, that’s just the tip of the iceberg; other rumors exist as to why Drake and Metro Boomin don’t get along. These could have to do with other collaborative projects, their work with collaborators in common, and a whole host of other reasons. Still, for what it’s worth, Young Metro had previously expressed on Twitter that there’s no real or deep beef between him and Drizzy, although he didn’t really elaborate much further. Maybe this is all just not-so-friendly competition around award show season, or it’s the culmination of a significant run of back-and-forths.

Regardless of what it is, it’s not the only smoke that american dream holds, whether directly or just by association, in this case. On the album itself, the Slaughter Gang head honcho appears to take shots at Gunna, although that’s also just fan speculation. We’ll see if any of these potential feuds get a clarification in the near future. With that in mind, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Metro Boomin, Drake, and 21 Savage.

Playboi Carti Shouts Out The Weeknd For Promoting His Rollout: “U Got Family”

Playboi Carti’s album rollout is fully underway, and that means he’s more online, grateful, and excited than ever. Moreover, he’s shared a lot of people shouting him out on social media, whether it be fellow artists, fans, industry folks, and the like. The latest to promote the “Pull Up” rapper’s new material is The Weeknd, who shared Carti’s new song and music video on his Instagram Story. Whatever I AM MUSIC ends up being (most likely an album), the culture is incredibly excited for it. He also shared reactions and promotions from Travis Scott, Ken Carson, NAV, and more, and even shared an unanswered DM to Frank Ocean about when he’s going to drop.

“You don’t need promotion when u got family 00X0,” Playboi Carti wrote when reposting Abel Tesfaye’s shout-out of this new song. Furthermore, this is a new snippet entirely, and is not the one that he shared just hours before that is a bit more aggressive. Rather, this track is a more woozy and dark offering from the Atlanta rage pioneer, with a delivery more akin to his more measured moments on Whole Lotta Red, which is most of what defined Die Lit. As such, we already have various things pointing us in the direction of various past aesthetics of his that he will probably develop even further.

Playboi Carti & The Weeknd Shout Each Other Out As “Family”

With this frenetic and unexpectedly consistent online activity in mind, we’re sure that Playboi Carti will have more for us as the wait for his next album draws on. So far, it’s proved to be a successful experiment, especially paired with other unbelievable musical miracles like a Frank Ocean snippet that came out around the same time. Is it possible that these two notoriously offline, mystique-shrouded, and tease-heavy artists coordinated to address their absence at the same time? It’s possible, but that also might just be the head-canon talking, even though that picture of their DMs surely made many people’s hearts skip a beat.

Regardless, what do you think of this new song and how fellow music superstars have promoted it? Are you looking forward to this new January release or was the wait too long for you to keep any hype? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below. Also, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Playboi Carti and The Weeknd.

The Weeknd’s Bizarre Coffee Promo Has Fans Scratching Their Heads

When you think of The Weeknd, you think of his vocal abilities, his creative discography, his gargantuan shows, and probably like two hundred other things before you think of coffee. The Canadian superstar baffled many of his fans on Instagram when he promoted Samra Origins Craft Instant Coffee on his page. Moreover, it’s a video with nine different panels à la “The Brady Bunch” with some pouring, cups, spoons, and packaging. Regardless of how good or not the brand is, many wondered why Abel Tesfaye is now a coffee spokesperson. It’s a good hustle, though, and he seems like the kind of person who wouldn’t team up for something as random as this if he didn’t have good reason to.

“Samra Origins Craft Instant Coffee is more than just instant coffee,” The Weeknd captioned his post. “It’s a chance to awaken creativity. It offers high-quality, exceptional flavor with ease, giving you the freedom to venture into a world of coffee drinks, cocktails, and culinary. Use Craft Instant Coffee as an elevated ingredient and begin exploring the possibilities.” If that’s what’s fueled amazing projects like After Hours and House Of Balloons, I’ll take five extra-large boxes.

The Weeknd Confuses Fans With His Coffee Promo

Of course, it’s not like the XO icon is a stranger to extracurricular endeavors and promotions outside of his music. In fact, we probably got the biggest (and most hated on) example of that this year with his HBO series “The Idol.” Nevertheless, fans were puzzled at this new move. “Please give a round of applause to the social media agency that can’t plan,” one fan commented cruelly. “Why u randomly promoting coffee bro,” someone added, with another clapping back with “You know nothing about coffee if you promoting instant coffee!”

Meanwhile, a lot of people also theorized that someone could’ve hacked his account, and the jury’s out on whether that would be funnier than if he meant it. Still, he would likely take it in stride, especially if he likes a good cup of Joe. After all, it’s not like he would respond to people who don’t like his show– I mean, coffee… right? Jokes aside, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on The Weeknd.

Drake Shushes The Haters (And Losers) In New Stake Promo

Drake is unsurprisingly one of Stake’s biggest advocates, and the gambling site is taking full advantage of that. Moreover, the Her Loss MC recently uploaded a funny and tongue-in-cheek promo video for Stake, which forms part of the series “Playing Stake In Quiet Places.” Furthermore, Drizzy sat in front of his laptop while near a calm and peaceful golf course, celebrating his wins in the sun. However, the comedy angle comes from him shushing those around him, including a friend whose muscles are making too much noise. It’s strange, low-budget, kind of corny, but still kind of funny to see him joke about him and his mother’s birthdays as he wins big.

Of course, Drake is well-known for his gambling tendencies, and for placing huge bets that either net him a lot of money or make his heavy pockets about $2 million lighter. For example, he lost about that amount when betting on Israel Adesanya in a previous UFC fight. However, he often sees much better days. Most recently, he won his bet on the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl, although some of his specific bets regarding the game fell through.

Drake Posts Understated Ad For Stake On IG

On that note, the 6 God is quite the fan of mixed martial arts, and is one to pay respects to the sport’s legends. Furthermore, UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal recently announced retirement, much to the dismay of that community given his incredible career. Despite the relatively sad announcement, Masvidal expressed his gratitude for his position and for everything that the sport has given him over the years. When Drake heard the big news, he took to his Instagram Story to tip his hat. “Street legend. UFC goat. Hats off to a great man,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Drake is making a lot of headlines these days for his new music, whether officially released or otherwise. His most recent tease came from his SOUND 42 radio show on SiriusXM, where he played a Lil Uzi Vert collab that originally surfaced back in 2021. With the way fans consume everything he does, if he bet on himself in the music game, he’d probably be twice as rich. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest updates on Drake, whether for his bets or his career.

DJ Drama Enlists Queen Latifah To Promote New Album

DJ Drama’s hotly anticipated album I’m Really Like That is dropping this Friday (March 31), and the acclaimed producer tapped Queen Latifah to promote its release. Not only that, but their promo was quite creative and paid homage to one of the most important films in hip-hop culture. Moreover, Latifah reprised her role in the 1992 film Juice for a recreation of one of its most iconic scenes. While Drama played the role of Q (originally played by Omar Epps), Jim Jones directed the homage. Also, additional featured actors included fellow Dipset member Juelz Santana, DJ Superstar Jay, and others.

Furthermore, the plot of the scene centered around a group of DJs waiting in line to play their mixes for the Queen so they can play at The Ruffhouse. It seems like the Gangsta Grillz icon wanted to recreate and evoke the feeling of the early hustle in the game, trying to make a name for yourself. Of course, given the incredibly stacked feature list for I’m Really Like That that floated around social media, it’s clear that Drama succeeded in such efforts.

DJ Drama & Queen Latifah Promote His New Album

To elaborate, here are a few of those names: there’s Tyler, The Creator, 42 Dugg, and Nipsey Hussle. In addition, there’s Freddie Gibbs, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, Roddy Ricch, and many more. What’s more is that Drama isn’t just looking forward to new projects in the future, but also bringing new ones back into the culture. For example, he recently revealed that Lil Wayne’s classic mixtape Dedication 2 will make a return to streaming services this year. However, that wasn’t all, as he also stated that brand new music from him and Tunechi is due in 2023, too.

Meanwhile, the Philly native has eggs in a lot of promising baskets in addition to his solo outing. Recently, he announced that him and De La Soul are working on a Gangsta Grillz mixtape following the release of their impeccable catalog on streaming services. After so many years of innovation and quality drops, it’s very exciting to see Drama get some flowers and keep shaping the game. If you’ve never seen Juice before, check out the referenced clip below. Otherwise, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Queen Latifah and DJ Drama.
