Masika Blasts Jess Hilarious For Calling Her Fetty Wap’s “Alleged” Baby Mama: Watch

These days, it’s far more common for people in the entertainment industry to work out co-parenting situations than navigate long-term relationships with those they share kids with. Not all of their fans are supportive of “baby mama culture,” as it’s become called. Still, for some, it works better than settling for less or tolerating infidelity. As he remains behind bars, Fetty Wap is likely feeling grateful for the five women taking care of his six children. Among them is Love & Hip-Hop star Masika, who shares a seven-year-old with the “My Way” hitmaker.

Earlier this week, Masika didn’t take kindly to hearing The Breakfast Club host Jess Hilarious refer to her as Fetty’s “alleged” co-parent. “Allegedly! Who allegedly has a child by, ‘Who that rapper with the one eye?’” Masika asked, making fun of the comedian’s ignorance. “Nah b**ch, first of all, I have an almost eight-year-old child,” she publicly addressed Hilarious. “For you to sit here and talk about some, ‘allegedly’ have a child with her father… Everybody knows who my child’s father is, including you, and then you want to act like you don’t know who the f**k he is,” the reality starlet’s rant went on.

Masika then shared that she looked back at her text history with Hilarious, who reportedly asked her about men running in Fetty’s circle in 2016 that she was interested in. “Aren’t you allegedly pregnant by some Puerto Rican that’s prettier than you?” the former clapped back, referencing Jess’ recently confirmed pregnancy.

Interestingly, Masika is choosing to target Jess Hilarious’ appearance amid their spat, especially considering the media personality’s recent admission about Chadwick Boseman. As you may recall, she publicly came for the Black Panther star’s dramatic weight loss and rough appearance without knowing he was battling the cancer that ultimately took his life. Read all about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Fetty Wap Prison Update: “679” Rapper Remains Positive In Tell-All Interview

Fetty Wap was in the midst of a triumphant comeback when the consequences of his actions hit him with a hard left hook in 2021. At the time, the “Trap Queen” artist was arrested along with other affiliates on drug trafficking charges, just six days after dropping his long-awaited album, The Butterfly Effect. He initially pleaded not guilty, but later changed that to a guilty plea, accepting six years in prison and five of post-release supervision for his role in a conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. Now well-adjusted to his life behind bars, Fetty spoke with XXL about how he’s doing mentally, his come-up, and much more.

When it comes to passing the time, the 32-year-old says that working out and eating are a big part of his regular routine. “I’ve been writing a lot. I don’t wanna spoil it, but I’ve been writing different things, like from trying to write a little book and write music, and I was trying to write a series for a TV show,” he dished. “Keep my mind occupied and just, you know, staying off the negativity that goes on with all the politics, you know what I’m sayin’?”

Fetty Wap is Making the Best of a Bad Situation

As for which artists have been checking in on him through his prison stint, 50 Cent was one of the first to come to Fetty’s mind. “He reach out all the time. Coi Leray. You know, that’s the homie. She from Jersey. I love Coi Leray, man. Chief Keef,” he listed. In order to get in touch with the embattled star, friends reach out in his Instagram DMs, which are monitored by his sister. She then relays messages to Wap, who tells her how to respond.

Perhaps one of the most difficult parts of this whole experience for Fetty Wap is having to be at a distance from his children while they grow up and experience so many firsts without him. Thankfully, the rapper remains on good terms with a few of his baby mamas, one of whom even took their daughter to visit Fetty earlier this year. Read more about that at the link below, and check out his full conversation with XXL here.

Fetty Wap Was Sentenced To 6 Years In Prison For Drug Trafficking

Fetty Wap has been sentenced to six years in prison for drug trafficking. According to the New York Times, Fetty Wap, whose legal name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine last August and appeared before Judge Joanna Seybert in Central Islip, New York today for sentencing.

A prosecutor on the case, Breon Peace, wanted to sentence Fetty to a sentence of seven to nine years, writing, “Young people who admire the defendant and are considering selling drugs need to be sent a message that selling drugs is not a glamorous lifestyle and, if they participate in that trade, they will receive lengthy prison sentences.” However, his six-year sentence is just one year over the minimum for a conviction.

Fetty was initially arrested for drug offenses in October 2021 at Rolling Loud New York, and charged with distributing cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl across Long Island and New Jersey using US Postal Service trucks with secret compartments. Although he was released on bond, his bond was revoked last August after he threatened to kill someone during a FaceTime call while brandishing a firearm.

The “Trap Queen” rapper has had a rough go of it the last few years; in addition to multiple arrests for offenses such as drag racing and assault, his brother was killed in New jersey in 2020 and his four-year-old daughter died in 2021.
