Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have just shared an exciting preview of their upcoming song. Two of the biggest female rappers in the game will be teaming up for the first time in what sounds like it will be a banger for the summer. Both artists have been going through a bit of a resurgence. For the Texas native, she has bounced back tremendously with “Cobra” and “HISS,” with both being perhaps the strongest cuts of her career. As for the Memphis star, “Yeah Glo!” has proven to be a return to form in most people’s eyes after some harsh criticism of her recent output.

This collaboration makes sense in that aspect for Glo and Megan, but also for this reason. With Glo going on Meg’s Hot Girl Summer Tour starting in May, they can now perform something together whenever they are both on stage. Megan dropped a short video with her newest collaborator on Instagram with a sneak peek of the track earlier today. In addition to these two teaming up for the first time, the other exciting part about this is the sample.

Megan and Glo are looking to put their twist on Soulja Boy’s classic “Pretty Boy Swag.” The eerie and club-ready beat remains to be mostly unchanged as both femcees trade bars, hyping each other up. “Go Meg, go Meg, go Meg!” GloRilla raps. Spice released it after seeing Latto’s “weak ass snippet.” That snippet was for the visuals of “Sunday Service,” which had Spice’s eyes covered with a black line in the backdrop for a particular shot. While that point was already established, Latto could be coming after others as well. Coi Leray, Nicki Minaj, Sexyy Red, Cardi B, and more join Ice Spice’s crossed-out eyes. But, this could be a terrific marketing tactic. Fans seem to think so as well. At the beginning of January, JT, of the femcee rap duo City Girls, hinted at a single on her Twitter account. “Sideways is a song not a verse & in 2024 I want to go from ‘JT has good verses!’ to ‘JT make good songs !!’” It is always exciting to hear artists want to constantly improve and change the narrative around them. Many people had a lot of negative things to say about RAW, the City Girls’ most recent full-length. Low first-week sales in the single digits dug the hole deeper for them to crawl out of.

However, one bright spot from that record was JT’s solo song “No Bars.” A high-octane banger that was all gas and no brakes. In addition to that, fans were eager to hear what she could do as a solo artist. Especially with an R&B snippet that surfaced and some karaoke raps as well. It seems that the proclamation we referred to at the beginning is going to be the start of this new era for JT.

Chief Keef Announces “Hot Cheetos” Single For “Almighty So 2,” Fans Tired Of Constant Delays

People have been sitting around dying to hear what he has to offer on the sequel, but alas, it still is not here. If and when it does drop this year, Almighty So 2 will follow up on its predecessor nearly 11 years later. We say this year because Amazon Music and Genius have it slated for a release date in 2024. According to them, the project will be out on March 29. However, it is worth noting that Keef has not confirmed that. But, in addition to that news, the hitmaker has announced a single called “Hot Cheetos.”

We already saw her film some visuals near a storefront, but now, it looks like she gathered a crowd and invited them to see her dance for the camera for this soon-to-come project. The Bronx MC does her thing as always, and onlookers seem meek but still engaged with the performance, although it’s unclear if they’ll be a part of the MV or just spectated. Regardless, we’ll see whether or not this shoots her further into fame, acclaim, and success in 2024, or if last year’s breakout stardom needs a little more time in the oven.

Either way, we’re sure that the 24-year-old hasn’t lost it one bit, as evidence by her alive-and-well penchant for striking bars. “Think you the s**t, b***h? You not even the fart,” she raps on this new snippet, a bar that had fans going wild online when it surfaced. Ice Spice had plenty of those quotables all throughout 2023, and it’s great to see that she’s getting love, or at least attention, for much more than her visual aesthetics. Of course, there’s no release information or anything like that yet, but there’s still a lot of anticipation and excitement for this single. After all, we got so much from the 24-year-old in the last 12 months that a two-month break feels like a two-year one.

Still, these new visuals aren’t just hinting at that, as no promo is safe from beef rumors that plague rap discussion. This time around, the speculative conversation is around Ice Spice and Latto, as many believe that the two have a feud going on. However, what’s funny is that the instances of “evidence” that people point to could just as easily be an attack as it could be a co-sign. Skepta Finally Announces New Album, Lead Single Coming In January
