Ice Spice Performs Unreleased “Y2K” Track At Coachella, Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Cheer Her On

Fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of Ice Spice’s album Y2K for months now. While she’s yet to confirm an official release date for the project, she’s been dropping plenty of hints here and there. During her recent Hot Ones appearance, for example, she explained that the LP has finally passed the “car test.” She also noted that she’s taking her time on the album, as she wants to be sure that it lives up to her listeners’ expectations.

Fortunately, the Bronx-born MC decided to give her fans a taste of what’s to come during her recent set at Coachella. She performed an unnamed, unreleased track, which will presumably appear on Y2K. Of course, the crowd went wild. Elsewhere during her performance, Ice Spice also performed hits like “Deli,” “In Ha Mood,” “Munch,” and more.

Fans weren’t the only ones who came through to show love to Ice Spice, however. During her performance, the 24-year-old’s “Karma (Remix)” collaborator Taylor Swift was spotted in the audience, cheering her on. As expected, she also brought along her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce for the performance, which they attended after grabbing a bite to eat in LA earlier in the day.

The pop powerhouse was all smiles during the set, and Ice Spice was sure to make her presence known onstage. “Shoutout to Taylor motherf*cking Swift!,” she yelled. Other celebs like Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and more were also seen enjoying the show.

JID Previews New Song At Dreamville Festival, Predicts Grammy Recognition

JID previewed an upcoming collaboration with Anycia during his performance at Dreamville Music Festival at Dorothea Dix Park on Saturday. Afterward, he predicted on social media that the track is going to make waves at next year’s Grammy Awards. On the song, he raps: “You ain’t no killas / Y’all just a bunch of cover girls / All that complimenting n****s sh*t / Leaving a comment, you leave it to me I’d send you to another world with dis sh*t / Magic wand, b*tch the work in my wrist / Magic Johnson, man I’m sick with assist / Bron Bron when I jump in the 6.”

Anycia shared the clip on Twitter and thanked JID with the caption: “This not my announcement but here go another cool thing i did. Thank u brother man.” He wrote back: “See u at the Grammys Nene lol.” The interaction had fans hyped for an official release. “I just love seeing how my favs are getting recognition now,” one user replied. Another wrote: “THIS IS THE BEST COLLAB EVER WTF.”

The performance at Dreamville Festival comes as JID continues to prepare his long-awaited album, Forever & A Day. He announced the effort on Instagram Live, last August, and the project is expected to release sometime this year. It’ll be his first studio album since 2022’s The Forever Story. Last month, the hitmaker unveiled her new “50/50 Freestyle,” and even announced an entirely new era. According to her, this season of her life is all about yams, though fans remain slightly confused about what exactly that entails. “Welcome to the ‘Yams Era,’” she Tweeted. “I’m so excited for this era of my life we about to have some FUN!!!”

It looks like her latest release was only the beginning, as Yung Miami recently took to social media to tease yet another new track. She teamed up with Skilla Baby for the song and shared a fun teaser for it over the weekend. In the teaser, she struts in a black mesh fit, reminding fans that “These hoes CFWM!!!!!”

At the time of writing, an official release date for the song has not yet been announced. Regardless, fans can’t wait to hear it in full, and have already dubbed it the song of the summer. New music isn’t the only thing Yung Miami has to look forward to these days, however. The femcee also turned 30 last month, and recently took to Instagram Live to share some of her goals.

Dreezy Previews Diss Track After Exposing Jacquees For Allegedly Wanting Her Over Deiondra Sanders

Last week, a Twitter war popped off between Dreezy and Deion Sanders’ daughter, Deiondra. At the time, Deiondra was in a relationship with Dreezy’s ex Jacquees, which appears to have gone down the drain since. It all started with some shady Tweets, and ended with Dreezy unveiling a series of damning alleged texts from Jacquees.

“Why would he switch out a dime for a penny,” Deiondra wrote. “Obsessed is when you still sending underwear with your face on it to the crib.” Dreezy fired back with full force, highlighting ongoing rumors that Deiondra was pregnant with Jacquees’ child. “Obsessed is y’all having a baby on the way but the n***a begging to get me pregnant [because] he barely fwu bird brain,” she responded.

Dreezy Teases “B*tch Duh”

Unfortunately, things only escalated from there. Dreezy went on to post screenshots from an alleged conversation with Jacquees, in which he seemingly tells her he’d rather be with her than Deiondra. “I want you I don’t want her,” he allegedly wrote. “You are my true love. Seriously. And I need you to help me. Sex does NOT define LOVE. And if you tryna find love in SEX you finna f*ck everybody. Kids do not define a FAMILY. I WANT YOU DREEZY.” For obvious reasons, Deiondra says she was “heartbroken” over the revelation. Based on her latest Tweets, however, she appears to be well on her way to moving on.

Dreezy, on the other hand, recently teased what seems to be a Deiondra diss track, “B*tch Duh.” The song contains lyrics that appear to reference the debacle, and the full version is “Coming Soon.” Jacquees similarly teased an upcoming track called “We’re Both To Blame” this week as well. Somewhere during the pandemic I had this bright idea to just go back to having fun, and that’s what this is. Even though fans are always down to see these feuds play out, nothing can last forever, and these ladies might see a replacement down the line.
