“Baddies East” River Fight Leaves Bloody-Eyed Mariahlynn Heated

Baddies East doesn’t just show viewers fights in houses, clubs, and resorts, but also out in the wild. Moreover, the cast members recently went on a river trip, presumably still during their trip to Jamaica, and things got heated quick. We already knew that there was a lot of beef brewing between Mariahlynn and the tag team of Sukihana and Sapphire, who still had some bumps on the road. In the newest episode preview for this week’s installment airing tonight (Sunday, February 4 at 8PM EST on the Zeus Network), we saw how these three had a fight at the river, leaving Mariah with a bloody eye.

Furthermore, we also see the immediate fallout of the incident, with both sides taunting and blasting each other. Mariahlynn believes that they wrongfully duped her by making Sukihana distract her while Sapphire snuck up and struck her. Even though fans are always down to see these feuds play out, nothing can last forever, and these ladies might see a replacement down the line. In fact, Natalie Nunn recently expressed desires to get Rose Blanchard on Baddies and denied any tension between them.

Elswehere, though, the Baddies East team and that of its sibling shows receives plenty of drama for reasons unrelated to episode storylines. For example, Stunna Girl recently accused the Zeus Network CEO Lemuel Plummer of sleeping with cast members, claims that he quickly clapped back against. With so much of these series focusing on drama, conflict, and scandalous content, it’s no surprise that it leaks into the behind-the-scenes discussions. Hopefully folks dive into the rumor mill regardless to determine what’s going on and whether there’s any damaging wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, this new episode’s antics might not compare in many’s eyes to that of arguably the franchise’s most notable former star. Chrisean Rock is as dominant in the headlines as ever for her volatile relationships and family life. Perhaps future episodes will feature a comeback, as unlikely as it is right now. JT Previews New Solo Music With Karaoke Videos

Last year, JT and Yung Miami released their newest album RAW. The album features appearances from Lil Durk, Muni Long, Juicy J, Usher, and Kim Petras. Despite those impressive features, the record underperformed commercially. Fans online compared its performance to the duo’s previous effort City On Lock and looked for reason why it wasn’t translating. One fan theory is that maybe the pair are better off as solo artists, something they’ve mused on before.

JT has been teasing towards a substantial solo release since months before the release of RAW. It started when she dropped her debut solo single “No Bars.” The song received some positive buzz from both fans and critics and is among the most streamed tracks on RAW. Before the album even released she claimed that she was still hungry, a statement that many fans assumed meant there was a solo project on the way. She’s made some moves and some statements in 2024 that have fans even more confident she will be dropping something soon.

At the beginning of the month, JT made a vow for 2024. She took to social media to express her goal to release not just good verses, but entire good songs. It seems like yet another indication that this year will be the one where she becomes a full-on solo artist. She followed it up a few days later with a snippet of new music that saw her going in an entirely new direction.

Now she’s sharing previews of even more new music. This time, she’s doing karaoke to her own songs giving fans a preview of both the tracks and her potential live performances of them. Sukihana Blasts Sapphire & Mariahlynn In New “Baddies East” Episode Preview

Baddies East is back and apparently more combative than ever, if even possible, because all the storylines in this episode preview are about tensions between the cast members. Moreover, if you’re curious and watch to see what’s going on, tune into the Zeus Network today (Sunday, January 21) at 8PM EST. As far as what there is to look forward to, we know that the girls are still on their Jamaica trip, from what it seems. Not only did that bring up plenty more conflict, but it’s also one that caused one of the most controversial parts of the season so far with Smiley’s medical emergency and how people thought she faked it.

Furthermore, the first thing we see in this Baddies East episode preview is Sukihana getting splashed in her face with a drink from Scarface. Later on, she calls out one of her best friends on the reality TV program, Sapphire, for not defending her properly and not walking the walk after talking the talk. We’ve seen that Suki doesn’t discriminate when it comes to the smoke, so she also holds her friends up to a certain standard of attack and defense. As we’ll find out soon, it’s not the only issue that she’s facing.

Elsewhere, this upcoming Baddies East episode will also feature Natalie Nunn and her pal Scotty trying to get back on good terms. Apparently, they had a nasty interaction over text where they were talking smack about one another. Unfortunately, it looks like their efforts weren’t very successful, as they got to fighting once again. No wonder that Nunn is looking for new members if there seems to be a new opponent every week.

Meanwhile, it seems like the beef between Sukihana and Mariahlynn will continue in the next episode. Mariah has “secret issues” with the former that haven’t come to light, but that could act as the climax for this episode or a lead-in for the next. Coi Leray Struts In The Snow While Dancing To New Song Preview: Watch

Coi Leray’s got some new music coming out soon, and she’s proving that she doesn’t need to be scantily-clad to show off her dance moves. Moreover, on Saturday (January 20), under heavy snow and a lot of layers, she danced to her upcoming single “Wanna Come Through,” which producer Mike WiLL Made-It hyped up in the Instagram comments section. It’s a pretty fitting cut for the visual, with wintery synths, mid-tempo trap percussion, and soft vocal melodies, so at least we know it’ll fit for the season. After all, the Massachusetts MC’s prolific social media presence and release schedule means she’s always got something to bring for any temperature.

Furthermore, a lot of people are becoming more and more of a fan of Coi Leray’s style and aesthetic, especially from a performance standpoint. She’s been throwing it back for the ‘Gram for a while now, and there certainly aren’t as many haters as there were when she first started doing so. In fact, fans want to see a twerking showdown between the “Bops” hitmaker and Megan Thee Stallion one day. Folks may remember when Busta Rhymes had to defend his collaboration with Coi Leray against her own father Benzino after he called Busta out for including her “half-naked” in its music video. “My thing first and foremost is Benzino has my number and he knows how to reach me,” he expressed on Way Up With Angela Yee. “You ain’t gotta address me about nothing on no social media ‘cause you got my phone number. I’ve never had to address him about a problem and there’s been plenty of different issues that we’ve actually went through that led to actual violence that we was able to resolve civil and respectfully. But the point that I’m trying to make is up until probably right now, this is not public information.

“I’m not saying this to promote the issue,” Busta Rhymes concluded. “I’m saying this to promote how the code of ethics was upheld and how we dealt with issues. We resolved it as men face to face. We wasn’t on social media, we didn’t talk on the radio. But if we really gon’ live by the proper code of ethics that we was raised on, then why you incriminating yourself talking about any conflict that you got with anybody on a social media platform or on a record anywhere? Moreover, the Bronx rapper was arguably 2023’s shining star when it comes to hip-hop, and it’s no surprise that she wants to heat things up even more this year. Of course, there’s no release information or anything like that yet, but there’s still a lot of anticipation and excitement for this single. After all, we got so much from the 24-year-old in the last 12 months that a two-month break feels like a two-year one.

Still, these new visuals aren’t just hinting at that, as no promo is safe from beef rumors that plague rap discussion. This time around, the speculative conversation is around Ice Spice and Latto, as many believe that the two have a feud going on. However, what’s funny is that the instances of “evidence” that people point to could just as easily be an attack as it could be a co-sign. For example, when the Atlanta artist recently previewed a snippet, she played Spice’s “Pretty Girl” music video on a TV in the background as she raps, “I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she so nervous.” We’ll let you be the judge.

It seems that Georgia rapper and singer Lil Nas X is finally making a full return to his music career. Yesterday, January 8, the 24-year-old shared the cover art and release date for his brand-new single, “J CHRIST.” It will be out on Friday, January 12, and it will see his foray into Christian/gospel music. Nas X has been talking about making a religious switch for quite some time now. In fact, it was just over a year ago that he began making these statements.

They have put him in some hot water and Nas X feels like he was “blackballed” from dropping anything in 2023. But, the wait is finally coming to an end for him and his fan base. Lil Nas is dedicating this track to the special man above. In his Instagram announcement post, he says, “MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!”

On top of the art and day of the release, Nas X has given fans plenty more to chew on in the coming days. A fan account on Twitter (known now as X) unearthed a possible preview of “J CHRIST.” The teaser is about 1:45 long and sounds very good. It is not a full dive into Christian music, but the elements are prevalent. Nas X is rapping over some heavenly background vocals mixed with some trap kick drums. Fans are digging what they hear so far. One says, “Wow this is beautiful.” Another says, “This go hard [flame emojis].”

Jonathan Majors Tearfully Reflects On Assault Conviction In ABC Interview Trailer

Last month, Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assaulting his ex, Grace Jabbari. The California native’s career has taken a major hit since the verdict was announced. In December, Marvel confirmed their decision to cut ties with him. He’s currently awaiting sentencing, which is set to take place on February 6. Majors could be looking at up to a year behind bars.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Emmy-nominated actor will be sitting down with ABC‘s Linsey Davis on Good Morning America for his first post-trial interview. In a new trailer, Majors grows emotional as he reflects on being convicted of reckless assault. “It’s been hard,” he says, wiping tears from his eyes. “Do you think you’ll ever work in Hollywood again? Davis asks.

The trailer cut off there, and viewers will have to wait for the full interview to drop on Monday to hear his response. According to his attorney, Priya Chaudhry, Majors “looks forward to fully clearing his name.” In a statement to NBC News, she explained that jurors weren’t convinced that he intentionally hurt Jabbari during their NYC spat. In security footage from the incident, Majors is seen pushing Jabbari into an SUV during an argument.

“It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari’s story of what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause any injuries to her. Conway The Machine & Swizz Beatz Have A Collab On The Way, Griselda Alum Shares

If you still caught up with hip-hop releases during the 2023 holiday season, you probably heard Conway The Machine’s newly released collaborative tape with Westside Gunn and The Alchemist, Hall & Nash 2. Moreover, you’ll be very pleased to know that he apparently doesn’t plan to slow down his prolific release schedule at all in 2024. Not only does the Drumwork label boss have his artists to push and support, but he’s also cooking up plenty of material on his own. During an Instagram Live session on Friday (December 29), he previewed a hopefully upcoming collaboration with none other than legendary Ruff Ryders (and beyond) producer Swizz Beatz.

Unfortunately, that snippet is pretty much all the information that we have about this cut: no title, no release date, and no project it’s set to appear on. Hopefully that changes soon as both artists think of what their next moves will be. The one and only Swizz Beatz, for example, recently shared that he has enough DMX material in the vault to craft a posthumous album. It’s unclear whether he’ll actually go through with it, though, as those releases tend to be pretty difficult, let alone controversial if done with the slightest disrespect or lack of care.

With the Griselda-adjacent sound becoming so popular and imitated, there’s nothing like an OG pairing to refresh its quality. That’s exactly what this duo achieved over just a few tracks, and hopefully quality continues to trump quantity.
