Childish Gambino Maps Out Plan To Drop Two Final Albums, Teases Tons Of Music

Childish Gambino will soon be done releasing new music under this moniker fairly soon. According to HipHopDX, the Georgia jack of all trades recently spilled the beans about his future projects, while previewing a fair share of unreleased tracks from them. The rapper hosted what he called the GILGA Radio Livestream via Instagram live last night. He announced it on X and a fan asked him if there was going to be new music previewed. Gambino had the perfect response, saying, “Of course. It’s a rollout dummy.”

About one month ago to the day, he announced a new album called Atavista. At the time of that reveal, there was speculation that it was going to be updated version of 3.15.20. Those suspicions were right on the money because Gambino confirmed that to be the case during GILGA. The other major piece of information we gathered is that after Atavista drops (we still don’t know when yet), Childish Gambino will put out one more album under his stage name. It will be titled Bando Stone & the New World, which doubles a soundtrack for an eponymous movie that he is a part of.

Childish Gambino Has Fans Stoked For His Next Albums

Finally, the other exciting part about this livestream were all of the tracks teased. According to the Reddit thread above, fans were claiming that Gambino played songs such as “Human Sacrifice” and a revamp of “35.31,” called “Little Foot, Big Foot” which features Young Nudy. Speaking of which, the hitmaker revealed that a music video for the latter will be dropping in the next few weeks. It has certainly been a long time coming for his fans, and Gambino recognized that. “My fans are great and have been so patient and are starving — this album is for you guys.”

What are your thoughts on Childish Gambino announcing two more new albums under this moniker? Out of all of the snippets he played at GILGA Radio, which one was your favorite and why? How do you feel about Atavista being a mixed and mastered version of his last album 3.15.20? After he releases these albums, do you think he will retire? Or will he drop music under his government name? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Lil Nas X Gives Fans An Extended Listen To His Forthcoming Gospel-Inspired “J CHRIST” Single

It seems that Georgia rapper and singer Lil Nas X is finally making a full return to his music career. Yesterday, January 8, the 24-year-old shared the cover art and release date for his brand-new single, “J CHRIST.” It will be out on Friday, January 12, and it will see his foray into Christian/gospel music. Nas X has been talking about making a religious switch for quite some time now. In fact, it was just over a year ago that he began making these statements.

They have put him in some hot water and Nas X feels like he was “blackballed” from dropping anything in 2023. But, the wait is finally coming to an end for him and his fan base. Lil Nas is dedicating this track to the special man above. In his Instagram announcement post, he says, “MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!”

Lil Nas X Has People Excited

On top of the art and day of the release, Nas X has given fans plenty more to chew on in the coming days. A fan account on Twitter (known now as X) unearthed a possible preview of “J CHRIST.” The teaser is about 1:45 long and sounds very good. It is not a full dive into Christian music, but the elements are prevalent. Nas X is rapping over some heavenly background vocals mixed with some trap kick drums. Playboi Carti Plays New Music At Rolling Loud Miami, Says New Album Is Coming “ASAP”

Playboi Carti just had an incredibly eventful and surprisingly enlightening night for his Rolling Loud Miami headlining performance. Of course, Cardi’s energy absolutely electrified the crowd as he went through old classics, Whole Lotta Red hits, and even new unreleased music. Given his time back in the studio, this is incredibly exciting news for fans who have been waiting for a new release for almost three years now. Moreover, it seems like the trap pioneer only gets bigger with each passing festival set, and he brought a lot of special things for this concert in particular beyond the songs he played. Furthermore, he recreated an Opium gas station onstage with some cars to boot, and he got to interact with a lot of fans that followed him around afterwards.

During these interactions, Playboi Carti suggested that his new album, rumored to be titled Music, will be out “ASAP.” While this may seem like wishful thinking to many, other recent revelations point to that conclusion, as well. For example, he recently announced the “Antagonist” tour, which will feature him, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang. What’s more is that, according to descriptions of the Opium trek from its Berlin venue, Music is set to release at some point during these performance dates.

Elsewhere during his Miami weekend, Playboi Carti hit the E11EVEN nightclub for a wild and bizarre afterparty. That’s because, as the 26-year-old performed atop a cage, his Opium labelmates stood inside it. Sure, it’s just a nightclub performance, but this adds onto the stacked list of raucous and provocative stage design that Carti graces festivals with. For those who went to Rolling Loud Miami last year, you may remember that his cohorts wrecked white vans with baseball bats as he performed. Regardless, he got to interact with fans and even did his first “interview” in years thanks to a fit check from Chris Smoove.

Meanwhile, fans call the new track that Carti featured during Rolling Loud Miami 2023 “Pop Out.” He’s previewed it before, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting to listen to, especially when you have a screaming vamp in front of you. Throughout his set, he consistently thanked fans for their support, and all this hype around him suggests that we’ll get Music soon. On that note, for more news and the latest updates on Playboi Carti, come back to HNHH.

Drake Teases New Song About His Ideal Woman On IG, Performs In Colombia: Watch

Over the past few years, Drake has consistently released albums, much to his fan’s pleasure. As he prepares to head out on tour with 21 Savage for their joint Her Loss album later this year, the father of one appears to be spending some time in the studio cooking up more music. On Saturday (March 25), his Instagram Story lit up with a teaser of something he may be dropping in the future, which was produced by BYNX.

“I need someone to be patient with me / Someone to get money, would not take it from me,” the 35-year-old sings in the brief clip, seemingly unveiling the qualities he looks for in a woman. “They don’t even need to be as famous as me / I don’t think I meet ’em at the places I be / But deep down I think about you all day, mami,” his bars continue. From the sounds of the internet’s reaction so far, if Drake drops the unnamed single soon, he could have another summer anthem on his hands.

Other noteworthy bars from the Scorpion hitmaker include “I know I’m a pitbull, but dalé, mami / I just wanna take you on a holiday, mami,” and “Take me out the club, take me out the trap / Take me off the market, take me off the map.” While teasing the track is certainly sending plenty of attention Drake’s way, it’s not the only exciting thing he got up to this weekend. On Friday (March 24), he took to the stage in Bogotá, Colombia to perform at a local festival.

In one video making rounds online, he turns up to popular releases like “God’s Plan” and “Sticky” from last summer’s Honestly, Nevermind. Unfortunately for Drake, several viewers have been commenting on his below-average audio, writing things like “Bruh sounds like me singing his songs,” and “He honestly sounds mid.” Keep scrolling to catch a video of Drizzy’s performance at Estéreo Picnic Festival below. Afterward, let us know if you’re excited to hear the Canadian’s new single that he teased earlier this weekend in the comments.
