Uncle Luke Recalls Partying With Diddy, Says He Would “Leave Early”

Uncle Luke says he would always leave early when partying with Diddy and that he wasn’t trying to find out what would go on at his place after hours. Reflecting on his relationship with the disgraced industry veteran, Luke recalled his parties during an appearance on the We In Miami podcast.

“I would go to the party and leave early,” he said. “I’m sorry. I don’t know what goes on after hours but I wasn’t trying to find out. I know my place.” He also claimed French Montana sampled his song “I Wanna Rock” without permission and that Diddy invited him to appear in the “Pop That” music video in response.

Luke isn’t the only artist who has said they felt uncomfortable partying with Diddy too late at night. Prior to the maelstrom of allegations against the Bad Boy mogul, 50 Cent said he doesn’t attend “Puff Parties.” “Nuh uh,” he said on stage at a concert. “That n***a hug you from the front and the back at the same time? F*ck you talkin’ ’bout? I mean, if you into that, you into that. I’m fine with it. I’m just saying this ain’t my motherf*ckin’ kind of party, I’m uncomfortable. I think I belong in the girl’s bathroom.” Check out Luke’s comments on Diddy below.

Luke’s comments come after Homeland Security raided Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday. The incident was reportedly part of a broader investigation into various sex trafficking allegations against him. Travis Scott Almost Ruins Party By Spilling Drink Near Turntable

Travis Scott’s been having quite the busy, fun, and magnanimous 2023, enjoying the success of his new album UTOPIA. However, sometimes that fun can get you out of the zone, and risk ruining a party for everyone else. Moreover, a recent clip emerged of La Flame partying at what seems like a club, playing some tracks on a turntable. Wouldn’t it be wild to see what he can do for a DJ set, considering his tendency for transitions and vibe shifts? Anyways, that aside, his “set” almost came to a screeching halt thanks to him spilling one of his Cacti seltzer cans.

Of course, Travis Scott played it off, looking down at the drink he spilled on himself and looking like he was waiting for the whole sound system to shut down. Then, his befuddled expression turned into a relieved smile as he realized that he didn’t get the decks wet. Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar’s “No More Parties In LA” kept playing, and the crowd still cheered on as the banger blared through the speakers. At least we now know that, if the Houston MC is going to show off his mixing skills one day, he’s got to steer himself clear of open containers.

Travis Scott Might Want A Sippy Cup For His Next Night Out

Regardless, this surely won’t be the last time that he hits up a club; in fact, he made it quite clear this year and previously that he loves the atmosphere. The “I KNOW ?” hitmaker partied at the E11EVEN nightclub in Miami earlier this year, and has hit up a lot of club spots for performances and appearances. Most recently, he joined Don Toliver at a Vegas spot to perform as a special guest, and they electrified the crowd. Trav’s always looking for a good time, and venues are happy to host him.

Meanwhile, fans are already waiting on new music from the 32-year-old, although it’s through his features. One of those will be on Offset’s upcoming album, and their tease of it a while back during a Rolling Loud set has fans hyped. Another anticipated collab is with Playboi Carti, who previewed it during his birthday bash. No matter what’s on the horizon, the Cactus Jack boss is always tapped into the sound; let’s just hope his branded seltzer doesn’t cut it out. Jokes aside, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Travis Scott.

Playboi Carti Plays New Music At Rolling Loud Miami, Says New Album Is Coming “ASAP”

Playboi Carti just had an incredibly eventful and surprisingly enlightening night for his Rolling Loud Miami headlining performance. Of course, Cardi’s energy absolutely electrified the crowd as he went through old classics, Whole Lotta Red hits, and even new unreleased music. Given his time back in the studio, this is incredibly exciting news for fans who have been waiting for a new release for almost three years now. Moreover, it seems like the trap pioneer only gets bigger with each passing festival set, and he brought a lot of special things for this concert in particular beyond the songs he played. Furthermore, he recreated an Opium gas station onstage with some cars to boot, and he got to interact with a lot of fans that followed him around afterwards.

During these interactions, Playboi Carti suggested that his new album, rumored to be titled Music, will be out “ASAP.” While this may seem like wishful thinking to many, other recent revelations point to that conclusion, as well. For example, he recently announced the “Antagonist” tour, which will feature him, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang. What’s more is that, according to descriptions of the Opium trek from its Berlin venue, Music is set to release at some point during these performance dates.

Elsewhere during his Miami weekend, Playboi Carti hit the E11EVEN nightclub for a wild and bizarre afterparty. That’s because, as the 26-year-old performed atop a cage, his Opium labelmates stood inside it. Sure, it’s just a nightclub performance, but this adds onto the stacked list of raucous and provocative stage design that Carti graces festivals with. For those who went to Rolling Loud Miami last year, you may remember that his cohorts wrecked white vans with baseball bats as he performed. Regardless, he got to interact with fans and even did his first “interview” in years thanks to a fit check from Chris Smoove.

Meanwhile, fans call the new track that Carti featured during Rolling Loud Miami 2023 “Pop Out.” He’s previewed it before, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting to listen to, especially when you have a screaming vamp in front of you. Throughout his set, he consistently thanked fans for their support, and all this hype around him suggests that we’ll get Music soon. On that note, for more news and the latest updates on Playboi Carti, come back to HNHH.

Yung Miami’s Met Gala After-Party Dress Made Out Of 55 Handbags, Inspired By Chanel

This year marked the Met Gala debut of many celebrities, though none of them did it quite like Yung Miami. Not only did the mother of two shock fans by arriving to the event with Diddy as her date, but she also donned one of our personal favourite looks on the red carpet for the night. The City Girl’s stylist, Marni, came through with the perfect vibes not only for the main event but for the after-parties as well.

In an interview with Complex, designer Duran Lantink spoke about the work that went into making Miami’s second look of the night. According to him, the rap diva’s team got in contact with him just two weeks before the Met. At the time, they requested various concepts paying homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld. Thankfully, Lantink has previously worked for the likes of Beyoncé and was more than up to the task at hand. “Once Karl Lagerfeld presented the double F Fendi logo on top of a hat. So I started thinking about playing around with the double C Chanel logo,” he explained, referring to the headpiece worn by Caresha below, which instead reads CG, for City Girls.

Yung Miami’s Chanel-Inspired Post-Met Gala Outfit

The dress itself was put together using 55 handbags, which were purchased across eight different cities in Holland. “Chanel is known for the leather fabric going through the handbag chains and I thought of the idea of creating braids that sort of go through the chains and then hit the ground,” Lantink told the outlet of his initial vision. Of meeting the Caresha Please host during their fitting, he added, “She was so sweet. And she seemed to enjoy it. I know Marni really wanted that dress to be the red carpet look.”

Austin Butler And Vanessa Hudgens Get Awkward At Oscars Party

Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens shared a few awkward encounters at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. While spirits at the party were at an all-time high, it was not without some uncomfortable moments. The two movie actors have quite a history together. In fact, Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens were together for over eight years. Their long-term relationship ran its course in 2020, however, and the two are no longer an item. The news initially upset many fans, as the two were known to be a power couple.

The actors were never spiteful towards each other in public. However, the tension in the air was thick at the Oscars after-party. In several photos and videos, the two can be seen trying to avoid interacting with each other at all costs. Austin attended the party with his current girlfriend, Kaia Gerber. At one point, Vanessa attempts to sneak past the lovebirds inconspicuously. She is polite and does an awkward dash between the new couple and the cameras. However, as she passes by, Austin can be seen quickly casting a glance at her.

Austin Butler Watches Vanessa Hudgens Walk Away

No words were spoken between Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens. But fans of both parties are acutely aware of how uncomfortable the situation is. Many can relate to bumping into an ex in public, or around mutual friends. And while both actors have moved on, an almost decade-long relationship can be hard to cast aside. Regardless, both Butler and Hudgens remained polite. Their ability to not be petty or vindictive most likely stems from their mutual breakup. The two ended their relationship due to the stress of their jobs, not for lack of love.

Austin and Vanessa became official in 2011. Now, Vanessa is engaged to Cole Tucker, a professional baseball player. No hard feelings seem to linger between the former couple. In fact, Austin heavily attributes his recent success in the Elvis film to Vanessa’s encouragement. But due to their long-term love affair, seeing each other at the party may have been harder than either of them is letting on. Check back in to see if any new drama arises from their brief meeting.

Ice Spice Fan Tries To Give Her Roses, She Turns Him Down

Ice Spice recently turned down a fan who tried to give the “Munch” hitmaker a bouquet of roses. While the poor guy’s gotta feel some type of way about it, at least he got so close to the rapper in the first place. Moreover, she gave a short performance at the Tia Adeola x Bowery Showroom NYFW afterparty at Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Hotel Ballroom on Saturday (February 11). As she walked inside the venue, a fan practically got on their knees and became the latest to try with the 23-year-old. However, she simply gave him a smile, said something unintelligible, and kept on walking in the viral clip.

Even thought she laughed at the exchange, hopefully it was more out of kindness than malice. Still, it didn’t prepare her for the monsoon of fans that she faced in that ballroom. In fact, things got so crowded that she had to stop her performance and ask people to back up. While the DJ and scant security tried to help, Spice herself had to push some people off. It’s also not the first controversial moment to happen at nightclubs with dominant female rappers this week. Funny how specific news trends can get, huh? Moreover, GloRilla recently addressed fans who threw water at her at an Oakland club where they thought she was going to perform. However, she and the event promoter made it clear that some issues remained unresolved.

Meanwhile, hip-hop-related comedian Druski recently made his own play on the Bronx native to controversial results. While they had an Instagram Live session together, he asked Spice to DM him her number. After she plugged her then-new track “In Ha Mood” and left the call, Druski’s comments took many aback. “We don’t give a f**k about that song. B***h, DM me,” he laughed. “I don’t give a f**k about that song, baby girl. DM me. Um, yeah. Yeah, we’ll see.” Later, when talking to Shannon Sharpe, he clarified some of his feelings.

“I was trying to get with Ice Spice,” he told Shannon Sharpe, “I still haven’t got the chance. I tried, I didn’t get her number. Like I said, you gotta let it come to you. At the end of the day, I’m the prize.” Whether you think he has a chance or not, come back to HNHH for the latest on Ice Spice.

Don Toliver’s ‘What You Need’ Video Is An Unexpected Kind Of Flex

For those of you who’ve been following Don Toliver since his breakout feature on mentor and label-boss Travis Scott’s Astroworld, for the track “Can’t Say,” the Texas rapper is back on the scene today with a brand new video. Following up his own debut album Heaven Or Hell, released in 2020, a year that very well fits that description, Toliver’s “What You Need” video is a Nabil-directed clip that finds him riding in green limos and encountering mystical, glowing plumes of smoke out in the forest. It’s trippy in all the right ways, and the song itself is going to be the lead single off Toliver’s sophomore album, slated for release sometime this summer.

Aside from releasing his debut last year, Don also raised some eyebrows over his kerfuffle with the XXL Freshman cover, an extremely coveted and highly-visible co-sign for rising rappers, which he reportedly turned down in a sense. The magazine’s longtime editor-in-chief told Hot 97’s The Breakfast Club that the young Houston MC basically insisted he’d only pose for the cover photo, and was going to skip all the cyphers, concerts, and freestyles associated with the project. Obviously that didn’t go over well with XXL, but considering Travis Scott took the same route, eschewing the Freshman cover, it seems like Toliver will do just fine anyway. Plus his appearance on Cactus Jack’s Jackboys EP was another boost for his profile, proving Scott’s co-sign might be just as important at this point.

Watch the new video above and look for more info on Toliver’s second album coming soon.
