While the relationship between JT and Lil Uzi Vert hasn’t been in the headlines for a bit, it looks like they are still going strong. Moreover, fans concluded this recently thanks to a clip of her performing at a nightclub and refusing to twerk, explaining to the DJ that she apparently tied the knot. “Shut the f**k up,” the City Girl exclaimed at the start of her remarks, seemingly aimed at the DJ who was telling her that “we don’t need that” before she started talking.

“You was talking telling me to shake my a** all night,” JT continued. “It’s okay, I got this, I’m not gonna shake my a**. I’m a lady, okay? You got a lady in here tonight, okay? I have on a little dress with my a** out, and of course, I don’t want to all over the Internet. You know? I’m kind of married. Okay, y’all ready? Oh, wait, I probably should come out of my shoes.” Given the style and promotion of her music, such as her new Doechii collab “Alter Ego,” some fans may feel surprise at this decision. However, props to the Florida native for standing by her agency of her body and not letting this precedent shape her in this instance.

However, this is all pretty light in the face of something else that fans are chiming in on: JT’s new beef with GloRilla. The two exchanged shots via Twitter over accusations of sneak dissing, and it ended up involving their appeal, their looks, and more. It’s unclear whether or not this will actually spiral into something greater or if it’s just a one-off spat. Either way, a lot of people are chiming in on the matter with their own hot takes and side-picking.

In fact, even other femcees like Saweetie inadvertently got themselves roped into this, but we doubt that it’s anything that will cause more problems among them. Moreover, fans at his show at the Hakkasan nightclub at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night (February 10) were met with quite the surprise. No, it’s not Quavo, whom La Flame performed with at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics party in the city for Super Bowl weekend. It wasn’t his setlist, either, because there are too many hits in his catalog for him to miss. It was a couple in a hotel room overlooking the concert that got hot and heavy during the show, and had onlookers quite shocked, amused, or distracted.

But on his way across the stage he gets surprised by a fan who throws a stack of cash in his direction like he’s a stripper.

At first Ross hesitates, probably pretty surprised at what happened. But ultimately he has a hilarious reaction to the whole situation when he decided to give the fan a taste of their own medicine. He pulls some cash from the stack in his hand and throws a handful of bills directly into his face from extremely close range. The encounter looks at first like one of many fight videos that have made the rounds online over the years. Moreover, he was recently spotted in Miami, specifically the night club E11EVEN, early Sunday morning (December 10) at around 2:30AM to participate in the closing Art Basel Miami Beach celebrations. When the Yeezy mogul arrived with his crew, he pulled up with socks– no shoes– to the function, and seemed to blend in with everyone else. Given that he wore a white scarf around his head and went by pretty unnoticed at a back VIP table, it’s clear that, just like for most of the year, he didn’t really want to be seen. The Chicago rapper and his companions were there for less than an hour.

Furthermore, there actually might be an interesting reason for this short stay, according to an alleged Page Six insider. They posited that Bianca Censori only let Kanye West go out for a certain amount of time, which is a curious claim about their dynamic. If you didn’t know, the two faced breakup rumors last month, but it seems they sidestepped all of that. Their relationship has been a rollercoaster to witness, but hopefully things are more stable than they seem just based off scandalous headlines.

However, we can’t forget about another important reason as to why Kanye West is in Miami. Apparently, he and Ty Dolla $ign are throwing a listening party in the city for their new album on Tuesday (December 12) at midnight. Of course, we say “apparently” because various other attempts to perform or play this project fell through. It seems closer than ever, but considering all of Ye’s public controversies and concerning attitudes, it’s still anyone’s guess.

Meanwhile, he also teased some new music recently, so perhaps the collaborative LP is really around the corner. But this is far from the first time that we’ve heard this from the 46-year-old. Chris Brown Faces New Lawsuit Over London Nightclub Altercation

R&B superstar Chris Brown finds himself in the legal hot seat yet again. This time, TMZ reported that he’s facing a new lawsuit stemming from a nightclub altercation in London. The lawsuit alleges that Brown was involved in a violent incident that left a man severely injured. Apparently this lead to a hospital stay for the individual. According to TMZ, the plaintiff in this case is Abe Diaw. He claims that Chris Brown assaulted him at the TAPE nightclub in England. According to the lawsuit, the incident took place in February and involved a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila being used as a weapon. Diaw asserts that Brown wielded the tequila bottle like a club, striking him with “crushing blows.” It’s a troubling accusation that adds to the list of legal troubles Brown has faced in recent years.

Furthermore, this latest lawsuit comes in the wake of several other legal challenges for the artist. Notably, there’s a bizarre case concerning a loan from a bank that was allegedly used to purchase two Popeyes Chicken locations. City National Bank filed this lawsuit in California, where Brown resides, alleging that the loan involved multiple individuals, including songwriter The-Dream. The suit states that as of February 17, 2023, there remains a substantial unpaid balance of $2,140,901.74 in principal and interest. Moreover, the bank has been seeking repayment since 2018.

Two sisters, Maria and Patricia Avila, who worked as housekeepers at Brown’s residence, claim that one of his dogs attacked them. Maria seeks a staggering $71 million in damages for her injuries, while Patricia is pursuing compensation for “extreme emotional distress.” The alleged incident occurred while they were employed by Brown at a rate of $600 per day. It’s worth noting that Chris Brown’s legal entanglements have been a recurring theme in recent years. However, despite his undeniable talent and popularity in the music industry, these legal challenges continue to cast a shadow over his career.

Of course, it doesn’t look exactly like Drizzy, so maybe it’s not as convincing as people would like it to be for this level of virality. Nevertheless, it’s the passion that counts, and people’s cheers speak louder than words.

Furthermore, you can hear as many folks in the crowd sang along to every word of “Take Care” alongside this new Fake Drake. Not only that, but it’s possible that this was one of those club nights during which they advertise a specific artist for the dance floor. Maybe it was OVO night at this Brooklyn venue, and the fan had to come well-dressed for the occasion and prepared to impress and prompt the typical “Oh my God, you look just like him, that is so funny!” comment from a patron or two… or the whole joint. Wouldn’t it be wild to see what he can do for a DJ set, considering his tendency for transitions and vibe shifts? Anyways, that aside, his “set” almost came to a screeching halt thanks to him spilling one of his Cacti seltzer cans.

Of course, Travis Scott played it off, looking down at the drink he spilled on himself and looking like he was waiting for the whole sound system to shut down. Then, his befuddled expression turned into a relieved smile as he realized that he didn’t get the decks wet. Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar’s “No More Parties In LA” kept playing, and the crowd still cheered on as the banger blared through the speakers. Mozzy Released From Prison After Short Stint For Club Shooting On No Charges

Fans recently celebrated the release of Mozzy from jail, who served a ten-month prison sentence on federal gun charges. While that news disappointed many of the Sacramento rapper’s listeners, he still kept his career going with plenty of releases in that timeframe. However, the joy of his freedom didn’t last long as authorities detained him following a shooting at a Kansas nightclub he performed at. Moreover, very little information emerged as to the reasoning or implications of this arrest from reports on the matter. “Maaan @MozzyThaMotive came out to our city Wichita, [Kansas] for a dope a** show,” a user captioned a video of the arrest. “Went to [an] after party and then got arrested. SMH, free Mozzy yo, f**k 12.”

Now, it seems like that issue was resolved, as officials released Mozzy following his brief detainment. In addition, reports indicate that authorities pressed no charges against the MC for what went down in Kansas. According to ABC News, the nightclub he had a show in suffered a shooting that left seven shot and two trampled. Apparently police detained him for questioning as a suspect of the shooting, but it turns out that accusation was short-lived.

Regardless, the CMG signee is probably looking forward to working on his career moves and expressing himself through music once more. After all, his time behind bars didn’t stop him from keeping fans fed, even if it was through a shorter project than many probably wanted. Young Lo Dead After Miami Nightclub Shooting: Report

Another tastemaker has been taken from the hip-hop community too soon. Artist and MakaSound A&R Young Lo was shot and killed during an incident at a Miami nightclub in the early hours of Monday (May 8), according to CBS. Around 4 AM, the 37-year-old was hit and rushed to nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Reports reveal that two other women were also shot at Gala. Thankfully, they’re both expected to survive and make a full recovery from their wounds.

Sources have already told the outlet that Lo is believed to have been the target of the attack. Born Lowell Grissom, the multi-talent had become a popular face within the music industry. He was fortunate enough to collaborate with Chris Brown multiple times throughout his career. Titles like “Everybody,” “Stars,” and “In Love With the Bitches” previously dropped thanks to the talented duo. Upon hearing about the tragic news of his passing, Lo’s Instagram comments have been filled with comments from friends, fans, family, and fellow rappers.

Among those expressing condolences and sending well wishes are Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Drama, Lady London, Sean Kingston, Karrueche, and 600Breezy. Several of the replies to Lo’s post share fond memories of how kind-hearted he was, including one from Mally Mall. “This isn’t right… You always loved, protected, and stood up for anyone and everyone… I’m beyond heartbroken. This world is becoming overbearing,” he emotionally vented. As HipHopDX notes, Gala nightclub has also issued a statement following the shooting.

“We are shocked and deeply saddened by the isolated and targeted incident that occurred last night at our upscale establishment,” they wrote. Young Lo leaves behind a six-year-old son, as well as countless adoring fans. At this time, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting, though local police continue to investigate in hopes of finding answers.
