Sean Kingston & His Mother Indicted On Multiple Federal Fraud Charges

In May of this year, Sean Kingston’s Florida home was raided by authorities in connection to an alleged fraud scheme. At the time, Kingston wasn’t home, but his 61-year-old mother Janice Turner was. She was arrested on the spot, and he was arrested a few hours later at a concert in California. They were both released only a few days after their arrests, but now, they’re facing federal charges.

According to TMZ, a Grand Jury in Miami indicted Kingston and his mother today. They were hit with multiple charges including one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and five counts of wire fraud. They’re both accused of scamming various businesses out of goods like jewelry, luxury vehicles, and more. Allegedly, they racked up over $1 million worth of property without paying anything for it.

The outlet also notes that if convicted, the two of them might be looking at some serious time behind bars. Reportedly, each count could earn them a maximum sentence of 20 years, and they’re facing six each. Despite this, Kingston’s lawyer Robert Rosenblatt appears confident and reportedly looks forward to battling things out in court. The news comes just over a month after Kingston was released on a $100K bond. At the time, the performer shared a heartfelt message with his supporters.

“It’s great to be home!” he said. “A special thanks to God, my family, my friends and my legal team… Robert Rosenblatt, James Stark, Mark Geragos, Zeljka Bozanic, Pierre Pollas. And I cannot forget about my amazing fans, thank you for all your love and support! Tony Yayo Thinks NBA YoungBoy Has Too Much Money To Be Worrying About Prison Time

Tony Yayo’s latest interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV let his fans know that he’s about the money above all other things. Moreover, at one point during their conversation, they got around to discussing NBA YoungBoy’s 48-charge case for alleged prescription drug fraud, which has found the rapper in yet another legal bind. However, according to the G-Unit affiliate, YB doesn’t really need to worry about prison time or about facing criminal charges when he’s sitting on so much money. In fact, Tony said that he would spend ten years in prison for $100 million without flinching, suggesting that this amount would do far more for others rather than just himself.

Furthermore, this statement from Tony Yayo emerged amid reports of YoungBoy’s earnings during his house arrest period. According to Wack 100, his prolific release schedule and commercial relationship to his music (masters, publishing, distribution, etc.) netted him anywhere between $50 million to $100 million within a single year. The Baton Rouge MC has certainly dropped a lot of material while out in Utah, but that doesn’t stop these numbers from being quite impressive. Of course, we don’t really know for sure how much money he actually generated, but with such a ravenous fanbase, we guess we can’t express too much surprise.

Still, other rappers on VladTV have had other thoughts on YoungBoy’s situation, with Boosie Badazz being one guest who offered a more empathetic perspective. “I just feel like when you need help, you need help,” he remarked. “I was facing jail time. This is right before I went, and I couldn’t get off the weed and codeine. I needed help. When I got to prison, I did more codeine than I was doing on the streets. I needed help. It was no amount of time that I was facing that could make me get off it… I was sent straight to prison, I was never even offered rehab.”

Meanwhile, apart from YoungBoy, Tony Yayo also spoke with DJ Vlad about the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef… because why wouldn’t they? Jokes aside, he specifically gave a theory as to why some rappers are scared to diss Drizzy because they want to go to Canada without any issues. Some pretty interesting examples definitely emerged regarding this, with both Rick Ross and ScHoolboy Q facing some trouble up north. Let’s see what else comes of this, and whether or not YoungBoy would really remain behind bars for a big bag.

Young Thug & YSL Trial’s New Judge Outlines Updated Courtroom Guidelines

The Young Thug and YSL RICO trial went through three judges in as many days, with Judge Paige Reese Whitaker now overseeing the case’s proceedings. Moreover, she recently issued a new list of courtroom guidelines for the defense, the prosecution, and all other participants to follow. These include a timely 8:45AM start time for court days with no exceptions (as long as all defendants have a lawyer present), no more eating in court barring an extended day working through meal times, and no more extensive wardrobe. Also, Judge Whitaker wants to minimize disruptions in court, ban defendants from using headphones during the trial, and leave no gaps between witnesses, indicating that the State needs to introduce their next witness immediately.

“Jeffery Williams is innocent of the charges brought in this indictment,” Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel stated regarding the original judge for this case, Judge Glanville, being recused. “To clear his name he sought a speedy trial, one in which he would receive the constitutional guarantees of a fair trial with an impartial judge presiding and ethical prosecutors following the law. Sadly, Judge Glanville and the prosecutors have run afoul of their duties under of [sic] the law. Mr. Williams is grateful that the reviewing court agreed with him and entered the order recusing and disqualifying Judge Glanville from presiding over Mr. Williams’ case. We look forward to proceeding with a trial judge who will fairly and faithfully follow the law.”

Young Thug’s New Judge Brings A New Set Of Rules

Elsewhere, this is what the judge between Glanville and Whitaker in this case, Judge Shukura Ingram, had to say about recusing herself from the trial almost immediately after the court assigned her to it. “Because this Court’s former assigned deputy could be called as a witness in any future proceedings in this case, the Court may be called upon to assess this deputy’s credibility, or rule on matters related to her criminal prosecution,” she wrote in a filing. “This may undermine the public’s confidence in the impartiality of the proceedings. While the Court does not regard the aforementioned situation as creating any actual bias for or against any party to this case, the Court does view this as a matter that could cause a reasonable person to question the Court’s impartiality and reasonably give rise to the appearance.”

Meanwhile, other folks already spoke on their negative assessment of how the trial progressed, including a former Georgia judicial chair. This Young Thug and YSL RICO case turned ugly years ago at this point, and now we must wait to see if this new era will prove more clear or effective. Still, this is just a speculative anticipation, and the next days of the trial will be a crucial indication of the future. Let’s hope things become more easy to understand, develop, and identify as fact or fiction in this trial.

Tasha K Trolls Soulja Boy Amid His Defamation Lawsuit Against Her

Tasha K has faced a whole lot of lawsuits and clap-backs from celebrities about her salacious claims about them, with Soulja Boy being a recent example. Moreover, she invited William The Baddest to her Unwine podcast, and during their conversation, he claimed that he had sexual intercourse with the rapper. Soulja wasn’t happy about this at all, and filed a defamation lawsuit against them for their claims after he already denied all of these claims previously. Well, it looks like Tasha isn’t letting up, as she’s now responded to the new lawsuit with little indication of changing any of her plans.

“PSA Process Servers can meet me in BOSTON on Saturday July 20 or in New York City on July 21st!” Tasha K wrote of the Soulja Boy lawsuit. “I will be performing at The City Wineries. My wine, gossip & comedy shows start promptly at 7:30pm est. Be sure to purchase a ticket process server and I will make sure that my security team lets you through to serve me without any hassle. My lawyers are also in New York and will be attending my New York Show as well if u have any problems getting to me!”

Tasha K’s Response To Soulja Boy

“Plaintiff has suffered actual reputational and professional harm as a result of defendants maliciously targeting plaintiff and seeking to sabotage his career,” Soulja Boy’s lawsuit read. “[They redefined] his character as a man who is not straight, a fraud and dishonest person in the entertainment industry, as a public figure, which is not true.” “I’m telling y’all I’m not, what the f**k do you want me to… What the f**k is wrong with y’all?” the Atlanta MC said of William The Baddest’s claims. “They saying, ‘To the left.’ Bro, anybody can go on OnlyFans and see that. Anybody can go on OF and see that, I got an OF page. What the f**k, that don’t prove nothing, what the f**k is wrong with y’all?

“Aye, wait, wait, wait, keep it gangster: are y’all serious right now or are y’all trolling?” Soulja Boy continued. “Y’all serious? Oh, y’all deada**. Okay, on my life, God strike me down, send me to hell right now. On my soul, on everything I love, that dude is lying. I could die right now today, God strike me down. I’ll put it on my life, I’ll put it on my life and soul, I’ll put it on my heartbeat. That is not true, bro *laughs*. Nah, if that don’t do it for y’all, I don’t know what the f**k you want me to say. If you don’t believe me after that, I don’t give a f**k. I don’t give a f**k, because it ain’t… What’s the big deal? What the f**k?”

Irv Gotti Denies Sexual Assault & Abuse Allegations And Claims He’s Being Extorted

Via an alleged representative, Irv Gotti has denied the sexual assault and abuse allegations against him by an anonymous woman in a new lawsuit. Moreover, TMZ reportedly obtained a statement about how he might file a countersuit since the Jane Doe in question only made this case once he refused her requests for monetary compensation. Allegedly, this lawsuit against Gotti emerged “after Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him. The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies.”

Furthermore, the mystery female filed suit against Irv Gotti on July 11 in Florida with accusations of sexual assault, battery, and intentionally inflicted emotional distress. She alleges that he abused her during two years of dating beginning in 2020, and that “Gotti coerced Plaintiff into having sex with him” on vacation, the lawsuit reads. Other details of alleged “unwanted sexual acts” include that “Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator,” and that later that year, “he again forced her to perform oral sex on him in an Uber.” The relationship apparently ended after this.

“The allegations represent an affront to women who have truly suffered abuse,” Irv Gotti’s representative added. “Mr. Gotti has been surrounded by strong women the entirety of his life. His mother, five sisters, and daughter. The top employees at his company are women. Mr. Gotti’s relationships with women have been characterized by mutual respect, honesty, and empathy [and] Mr. Gotti’s reputation has been placed at issue.” In addition, the rep called this a “baseless” lawsuit and revealed that the Murder Inc. executive might retort with a countersuit.

Meanwhile, this is definitely a much larger issue than what Irv Gotti had previously faced on social media as of late. When Ashanti and Nelly announced that they’re expecting a child, the Internet trolled him into oblivion. But now things became much darker and much less fun to joke about. Hopefully we get to the bottom of this case and those criminally responsible see the justice that they deserve.

Ryan Garcia Charged With Vandalism After Ruining Luxury Hotel Room

Star professional boxer Ryan Garcia received a misdemeanor vandalism charge stemming from his alleged meltdown at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Garcia was first accused of the crime on June 8, after authorities claimed he snapped and wrecked a room and a hallway at the luxury Los Angeles area hotel. It is another instance to add to the pugilist’s year of making a regrettable choice and feeling the consequences.

L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón announced formal charges against Garcia on Thursday morning. One count of vandalism $400 or more in damage or destruction of property. If convicted, he faces up to a year in prison. He will appear before a judge on August 7. “While we are grateful no injuries were reported in this incident, reckless behavior that damages property shows a blatant and unacceptable disregard for the safety and peace of our community,” Gascón said in a public statement. “Our office will work to ensure the responsible individual is held accountable.”

Ryan Garcia Charged With Vandalism

This vandalism charge is the latest issue Ryan Garcia finds himself on the receiving end of. Garcia fought Devin Haney in April. The fight was originally for the WBC super lightweight championship. Unfortunately for Garcia, he was 3.2 pounds over the weight limit at the weigh-in. Garcia and Haney agreed to a wager that would cost the offending party $500 thousand per missed pound. That decision cost Garcia $1.5 million. Additionally, Garcia forfeited nearly $600 thousand of his purse and was ineligible to win the title. After Garcia defeated Haney, a positive drug test meant that the result did not matter. The New York State Athletic Commission declared the fight a no contest.

Garcia’s year only got worse when the NYSAC suspended him for a year for his usage of performance-enhancing drugs. Then, the WBC expelled him for using racist language. And now, he finds himself looking down the barrel of a jail stint. Garcia has been candid in discussing his mental health issues, but has reportedly declined any attempts to help him. An entirely avoidable situation for one of boxing’s former bright young stars.

Thomas Matthew Crooks Used Steam To Plant Donald Trump Assassination Plan

Since Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally on July 13, investigators have been working to determine a motive. They found a message posted to the gaming platform, Steam, that they believe Crooks himself authored. The message reads, “July 13 will be my premiere. Watch as it unfolds.” In their search, investigators also found internet searches for both Trump and President Joe Biden on Crooks’ phone.

Prior to the rally, Crooks, 20, had searched for the dates of Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He also searched for those of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, the sources said. His phone was one of several devices that authorities confiscated in their attempt to piece together a timeline. As he searched for information pertaining to both Trump and current President Joe Biden, authorities are also searching for someone who can provide insight into his political leanings.

Thomas Matthew Crooks Used Steam To Allude To Trump Assassination Plan

Steam is a platform where users can purchase and discuss video games. It is one of the largest video game retailers in the world. Steam also has a collection of forums dedicated to different topics. That may have been how Crooks communicated with other people. As the image of who Crooks was becomes slowly becomes clearer, people have begun to speculate on motives. “Likely, it was a combination of mental health issues, ideological beliefs and a sense of personal grievance, the same combination of factors present in almost every school shooting and mass casualty attack over the past several years. As with those incidents, the warning signs were there, they were just not recognized,” John Cohen, the former Department of Homeland Security Head of Intelligence told ABC News.

As authorities continue their investigation, the political landscape continues to change. The Department of Homeland Security announced plans to investigate the Secret Service for their handling of the rally. President Biden is under mounting pressure to drop his plans to seek re-election. Donald Trump, who has been at the Republican National Convention all week, will formally accept his party’s presidential nomination for a third time tonight.

Soulja Boy Sues Tasha K Over William The Baddest’s Sex Allegations

Soulja Boy is officially taking one of his social media spats to court, as he recently sued Tasha K and William The Baddest for their claims about him on their episode of Unwine With Tasha K. Specifically, William claimed that he and Soulja were sexually intimate, allegations that the rapper was quick to deny online after the claims went viral. The Atlanta MC filed a lawsuit for defamation, sexual harassment, privacy rights violations, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and other claims, including one assumption that William violated an NDA by speaking on the matter. But again, that’s just speculative at press time, as we don’t know much else about what damages are at stake or about any other case details.

“I’m telling y’all I’m not, what the f**k do you want me to… What the f**k is wrong with y’all?” Soulja Boy responded to William The Baddest’s claims, including those about his… member. “They saying, ‘To the left.’ Bro, anybody can go on OnlyFans and see that. Anybody can go on OF and see that, I got an OF page. What the f**k, that don’t prove nothing, what the f**k is wrong with y’all? Blueface Receives Sentence For Probation Violation In Strip Club Shooting Case

Blueface has been wrapped up in his fair share of legal drama as of late, as he’s currently behind bars for an alleged probation violation. The “Thotiana” rapper first turned himself in back in January, only months after welcoming his first child with Chrisean Rock. Earlier this week, he appeared in court, where Las Vegas Judge Kathleen Delaney gave him his sentence for an unrelated case.

Delaney granted him probation for up to three years, with a suspended prison sentence of two to five years. This means that as long as he complies with his conditions, he won’t have to serve additional time in prison. Conditions of Blueface’s probation include abstaining from alcohol and drugs including marijuana, avoiding the Vegas strip unless he has a legitimate reason to be there such as work, attending impulse control counseling, and more. She also handed him 30 days in jail but credited him for time served as he’s already incarcerated in California. “This was a first technical violation with only temporary revocation available for a maximum of 30 days,” the judgment reads.

Blueface Handed Probation & Suspended Prison Sentence

Blueface may have been able to check his Vegas case off his list, but the conclusion of his California case is still to be seen. He’s accused of violating his probation again, this time with a 2023 altercation involving Jaidyn Alexis. He and the “Stewie” performer were performing in Utah in December when he pulled a woman up onstage. Allegedly, he then told Jaidyn to assault her. He currently has a sentencing hearing for that case scheduled for July 29.

Fans hope that his California sentencing will play out just as well for him, though that remains up in the air. What do you think of Blueface learning his fate in his Vegas probation violation case? Are you surprised that he avoided more time behind bars? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
