However, she clapped back at these rumors, taking to social media to address people already calling the downfall of their fling.

Beyond his girlfriend Justice J Williams, though, Rick Ross might have some other romantic narratives to contend with. It’s probably nothing super serious, but then again, isn’t this the exact thing that social media would take an inch from and go a mile with? Things got heated during an episode of Baddies Midwest this month when Akbar V got into it with Biggie. Jaidyn Alexis intervened and began to argue with Biggie, resulting in an intense confrontation. Biggie proceeded to preview a diss track about Akbar, which quickly earned a response. In a lengthy social media post, Akbar claimed that their feud was just a storyline for the show at first, but now it appears to be very real.

“Listen me and biggie never had no real issue we talked bout a story line she do this all the time to ahna and Teseki it’s becoming a sad case she has to stop the sympathy card,” she wrote in part. “When you go to studio and diss me u gotta be prepared for me cuz ion have no limits … hiphop it’s not a sympathy sport it’s Barz.” Clearly, Akbar meant what she said. For over a year now, salacious cheating rumors have followed Remy Ma around in her 15-year-plus relationship with Papoose. Apparently, some folks accused her of cheating on him with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain, and while they’ve all denied this in the public eye, fans still ran with that narrative. Well, it turns out that Remy not only has to deal with that rumor in a big way now, but also has to deal with her alleged discovery that her boo also cheated on her. She allegedly caught Pap falling asleep while talking to Claressa Shields and discovered that they were seeing each other, exposing their alleged text messages on Instagram.

Amid this scandal, Papoose responded by exposing Remy Ma and seemingly backing up cheating claims against her. “Sad to say that @remyma is a narcissist,” he expressed on his Instagram Story. “She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I finally moved on, she’s playing the victim. I have requested a divorce numerous times. She [would] rather clout chase on social media. Than [sic] handle this like civilized adults. Regardless of who’s in the right here, we doubt that Remy Ma, Papoose, or Claressa Shields will slow down in their responses to all this drama. Now the couple has to either admit they both cheated or prove that the other one is lying, and we don’t know which one would be easier for them. We’ll see how this long-running debacle pans out.

Andrew Schulz probably didn’t expect himself to be at the center of a new piece of Kendrick Lamar and Drake drama, but he certainly doubled down on it. That caused even more controversy given how he joked about sexually assaulting K.Dot in response to GNX‘s presumed “wacced out murals” diss, which didn’t even name-drop the comedian. But some folks, like DJ Akademiks, think that the indignant reactions to this debacle from Kendrick fans is hypocritical. This is because of how the Compton lyricist connected Drizzy to grooming and underage intimacy allegations and how some folks excused that attack.

“What has Kendrick done to everybody?” DJ Akademiks questioned. “Because it’s so hypocritical. No one stands on these supposed principles. Yo, Kendrick said Drake is a certified – ‘Yo, everything is fair in hip-hop, man. Ain’t no rules to this s**t, man. Lying has always been a part of hip-hop. N***a, ain’t no rules. “What is it?” DJ Akademiks asked of Kendrick Lamar fans angry at Andrew Schulz. “‘Cause y’all just have one standard? And I agree with that, too. Is it no rules or is it rules? The same motherf***ers who be like, ‘Yo, so what if he lied and called Drake a certified p*dophile?’ But as soon as I make fun of his song, ‘Yo, chill, chill! I don’t even know if that s**t’s true. Of course, there’s a lot more nuance here that DJ Akademiks – or many other media figures, for that matter – isn’t fully unpacking. Kendrick Lamar dissing white comedians is very different from Andrew Schulz using that as trigger-happy provocation, particularly in a sexual assault context. But it is true that Kendrick fans making a fuss out of the fallout have to reckon with what personal attacks and oversteps they trusted.

The Diddy scandal dominated 2024 thanks to his federal case for alleged sex trafficking and racketeering and the mountain of civil lawsuits against him for other alleged crimes. Tony Buzbee is the attorney who has filed many of these civil complaints, and his amendment to a previous case shocked the hip-hop world on Sunday night (December 8). An anonymous alleged victim is suing Sean Combs and Jay-Z for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was 13 years old at a VMAs after party back in 2000. The Bad Boy mogul’s lawyers have responded to this move, defending his Roc-A-Fella counterpart.

“This amended complaint and the recent extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee exposes his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are,” Diddy’s legal team stated to TMZ concerning the Jay-Z allegations. “Shameless publicity stunts.” For those unaware, this lawsuit initially emerged in October and only involved Puffy, but this new amendment roped Hov into it. In fact, he allegedly sued Buzbee for extortion weeks before this new sexual assault lawsuit went public. As you can see, it’s all a very complicated and unclear battle with heavy implications behind it.

Jay-Z Responds To Lawsuit Accusing Him & Diddy Of Sexual Assault

Jay-Z’s response to this sexual assault lawsuit scathingly blasted this move as a cheap ploy for a quick settlement. “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one,” he stated. “Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case. This lawyer, who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these type of theatrics! I have no idea how you have come to be such a deplorable human Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over.”

The lawsuit against both Jay-Z and Diddy for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old took the hip-hop world by storm on Sunday night (December 8). Hov himself responded with a scathing takedown of prosecutor Tony Buzbee, and allegedly sued Buzbee for extortion weeks before the sexual assault lawsuit went public. Now, Foxy Brown seems to have responded to these allegations via a couple of Instagram Story posts that read “WAIT” and “WOW.” For those unaware, she previously denied rumors of an underage relationship with the Roc-A-Fella boss, which is one of many salacious yet completely unconfirmed narratives about Jay and even Beyoncé.

“In icon business!” Foxy Brown wrote back in October concerning the previous Jay-Z allegations. “Miss me wit tha fake news[.] NDA? Ain’t a MF alive that could stop my story. NDA on my s**t gon run 100 mil.” “Stop playin’ wit me name dyin’ for a comment!” she added in follow-up posts. “Can’t spin me with the sucker s**t to take Hov down. As for Jay-Z’s response to the sexual assault lawsuit, it’s a pretty heavy one. “My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee,” he stated. “What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. […] My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”

Meanwhile, Foxy Brown previously (and allegedly) responded to Diddy’s arrest in similarly surprised fashion, but she didn’t really indicate any thought or comment beyond that. We’ll see what else comes of this Jay-Z lawsuit and whether or not he will actually fight this out in court.

Dave East Responds To Meme Alleging His Involvement In UnitedHealth CEO’s Assassination

Dave East found himself in the middle of a heavy and dark story this week: the assassination of UnitedHealth Group Inc. CEO Brian Thompson. For those unaware, a gunman shot the executive in New York City on Wednesday (December 4) in what many interpreted as an attack against the for-profit medical services system of the United States. A sketch of the perpetrator – who is still on the run at press time – emerged online, but it seems to be a meme depicting the “Giga Chad” character, so it’s not a real sketch. Regardless, one fan pointed out that the sketch looks kind of similar to the Living Proof MC, who responded via an Instagram post.

“Damn sure wasn’t me,” Dave East expressed. “They playing games FR. RIP to homie tho.” It was very bizarre to see the “Buss Down” rapper show up in this story, but here we are. As for the assassination itself, police found a backpack in Central Park possibly linked to the shooter, and authorities believe they fled via an interstate bus. Brian Thompson’s wife also relayed the allegation that they received various threats before this murder.

Dave East Reacts To Meme-Fueled Implication In UnitedHealth CEO’s Assassination

This is definitely a very weird way for Dave East to close out his 2024, which came with a lot of new music in his prolific catalog. The Harlem spitter dropped a lot of material this year doubling down on his lyrical prowess, even though it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for him over the past 12 months or so. Jim Jones allegedly ruined his Valentine’s Day by taking over a club table that East wanted to take his date to. Hopefully 2025 yields better luck for date night scheduling, although we imagine the clubs will be just as full.

Jokes aside, we’re still reeling from this outrageous crossover story, and we’re sure that Dave East either had a good laugh about it or got too deep into conspiratorial thoughts and more somber reflections. He faced some other harsh situations in the past year such as a pepper-spraying outside his show, and this certainly doesn’t improve that streak. Fingers crossed for a more relaxed and less morbid 2025.
