DaBaby Cites Lawyer’s “Life-Threatening” Disease In Request To Postpone Alleged Assault Trial

Back in 2022, DaBaby was sued by a 65-year-old man named Gary Pagar for alleged assault. A couple of years prior, Pagar had rented out his property to the rapper and his crew. Despite reportedly agreeing not to have more than 12 people in the home at a time, DaBaby proceeded to shoot a music video there, which allegedly involved more than 40.

Upon learning of the music video shoot, Pagar claims that he rushed to his property to investigate for himself. When he arrived, however, things quickly took a turn for the worse. After accusing DaBaby of falling through with his end of their rental agreement, the “SHAKE SUMN” performer allegedly chased him into the home. Pagar alleges that when DaBaby caught up to him, he punched him in the face, knocking out several of his teeth. He’s seeking unspecified damages for the injuries and property damage the rapper allegedly caused.

DaBaby was charged with felony battery over the alleged incident, and his trial has been looming ever since. It’s currently scheduled for September 3, 2024, but the Ohio-born artist has continually asked to have it pushed back. Recently, Pagar told the judge that he’s sick of waiting, requesting that the trial date remain as it is despite his pleas. DaBaby said that his team had scheduling conflicts, and his lawyer claimed to be dealing with health issues. Regardless, their motion was denied. Now, DaBaby is asking the judge to reconsider, citing his lawyer’s aforementioned medical concerns.

Ne-Yo Accused Of Having “Freak-Offs” By Ex-Girlfriend, Gets Compared To Diddy

Ne-Yo is facing some heavy allegations right now, with his ex-girlfriend Sade Bagnerise claiming that he’s had “freak-offs” with drugs and sex workers while his children were at his house. For those unaware, she is the mother of his two youngest children, and she recorded and livestreamed herself launching these accusations at him on Wednesday (April 24) while he tried to use his video game console, plus while their kids were seemingly sleeping behind them. Bagnerise called the singer “Diddy Junior” and said that he will face similar public scrutiny due to these alleged actions. Also, she claimed that he body-slammed her and that he allegedly called the police after Bagnerise refused to leave their house due to her concern for their children.

Furthermore, it’s important to note that all of this is speculative and alleged behavior, none of which has been confirmed or is backed up by facts or a legal process at press time. So are the Diddy allegations, for that matter. As such, take this Ne-Yo news with a grain of salt. “He wants h*es over the house while his kids is here,” Bagnerise claimed. “This n***a like to have h*es, drugs and weed, alcohol, mushrooms, and [sex workers] in the house while his kids are here. A tweet comparing the legal drama of Megan Thee Stallion and Diddy is causing viral backlash for The Root on social media. The post featured the caption: “Is Megan Thee Stallion the Female Diddy? Crazy Sexual Harassment Allegations Show We Never Know Celebs.” It arrives after a former cameraman for the rapper filed a lawsuit against her on Tuesday. The Root has since taken down the post.

Emilio Garcia filed the lawsuit against Megan in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming that he was stuck inside a moving vehicle with her when she began having sex with another woman. He further accuses her of treating him differently after the alleged incident. He says the “harassment was so severe or pervasive” that it created a “hostile, abusive work environment” and made “working conditions intolerable.” In a statement from his attorney, Ron Zambrano, to NBC News, his legal team argued “‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly” and that “exposing this behavior to employees is definitely illegal.”

Diddy To Be “Indicted Soon,” Lil Rod’s Attorney Alleges

Rodney “Lil Rod” Smith’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, claims Diddy will face an indictment “soon.” He said as much to Page Six when the outlet asked him about his client’s reckless homicide conviction from 2003 and other charges throughout the years. Blackburn explained that Rod “did not have adequate legal representation” at the time. Lil Rod is currently suing Diddy for $30 million with allegations of sexual assault stemming from a time when he was reportedly working on Diddy’s The Love Album: Off The Grid, from September 2022 to November 2023.

“I am sure you know that a charge is not a conviction,” Blackburn, who has faced scrutiny over his litigation tactics in the past, told the outlet. “So, running this story on behalf of [Diddy’s camp] is problematic and calls into question your integrity as a journalist. Mr. Jones’ July 2003 reckless homicide occurred when he was 17 years old. He was driving a vehicle with his cousin in the passenger seat. The police pulled him over, but he was afraid and drove off. It was pretty typical behavior for a young black boy in Chicago when pulled over by the police. As a result, he totaled the vehicle, and his cousin, who was his best friend, died.”

Freddy P, a former member of the MTV Making The Band 2 group, Da Band, claims Diddy once made a threat on his life during a heated exchange in the studio. He made the allegations during an appearance on The Art of Dialogue, on Friday, explaining that it caused him to leave the group.

“One day, I was waking up, and I was in a mood. I’m in the studio, I’m snapping or whatever. I didn’t even want to be f*cked with,” Freddy said. “You know when you around a bunch of goofies and you a street n***a, sometimes you don’t want to be around the nerds. So I’m in that b*tch; I’m just frustrated with a lot of sh*t going on. Anyway, we get into a situation. NBA YoungBoy’s Bad Doctor Impression Allegedly Got Him Caught In Prescription Fraud Scheme

Earlier this week, NBA YoungBoy was arrested at his Utah home on multiple charges. Initially, it was reported that he was booked for “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.” Today, new details of the case were made public, revealing that it’s far more complex than expected.

YB was hit with a total of 63 charges. Most of them are related to an alleged prescription drug fraud scheme. He’s looking at 20 counts of identity fraud, 20 counts of obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, 20 counts of forgery, and more. Allegedly, he and his crew would call in prescriptions using real doctors’ names, which is ultimately what got them caught. A probable cause affidavit from Cache County details how a caller claiming to be “Gwendolyn Cox” tipped off police.

NBA YoungBoy Hit With 63 Charges

“‘Gwendolyn’ sounded as though she was a much younger male from the Southern states. Gwendolyn made a statement ‘well I axed her to and she said that she’ll have you call me.’ This statement was a response to a request that was made to have ‘Gwendolyn’ contact Dispatch and have them transfer her call back through. … (I have) lived in the Southern United States, the terminology in replacing the word ‘ask’ with ‘axe’ or other variations, is consistent with a Southern dialect in states such as Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and other southern states,” the affidavit reads.

One pharmacist targeted in the scheme, Erik Stewart, says something just didn’t seem right when he received a call from a number that didn’t match the registered doctor’s office. “Usually, you don’t get a doctor calling in a cough syrup themselves.
