GloRilla Taunts Damian Lillard’s Ex-Wife Kay’La With Jersey After Alleged DUI Shade

Last week, it was reported that GloRilla was arrested in Atlanta for alleged DUI, expectedly garnering reactions from countless social media users and peers. One of the first to respond was Damian Lillard’s estranged wife Kay’La, and commenters thought she was throwing shade. “Free GloLillard [laughing emoji],” she captioned a photo of the femcee’s mugshot, which she shared to her Instagram story. “#Sisterwife.”

Her post came only a couple of months after GloRilla showed interest in Damian on Twitter/X, sharing a photo of the two of them at the 2024 All-Star Game in Indianapolis. “Who n***a dis? Cause I want him #GetEmGlo,” she wondered at the time. She later went on to Tweet, “Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf.”

When asked about GloRilla shooting her shot last month, Damian simply said, “No comment, my brother.” It looks like GloRilla isn’t dodging any smoke, however, recently poking fun at the debacle with a new jersey. The bright yellow jersey in question says “GloLillard” on the back, a nod to Kay’La’s seemingly shady post. Kay’La has yet to address Glo’s apparent response to her comments.

Damian and Kay’La officially parted ways in October of last year, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce. According to court docs, Kay’La moved out of Damian’s $7.7M Portland home in December of 2022 while he stayed behind. They share three young children together. As for GloRilla’s alleged DUI arrest, bodycam footage of the incident surfaced online last week, showing the “Blessed” performer taking part in various field sobriety tests. Everyone and their mother who follows hip-hop knows about the recent verse on “Like That.” It has easily been the top performance of the year on many fronts, and it has rekindled the competitive flame in the genre. Fans have been on the edge of the seats since last Friday about how J. Cole and The Boy will respond. So far, Drake has been using those “Twitter fingers” of his to send subliminals toward Kendrick Lamar.

Just yesterday, the “First Person Shooter” rapper posted a collage of photos with the caption, “They rather go to war with me than admit they are their own worst enemy ” That came just a few days after Drake put on an empowering speech at one of his recent shows. “I got my head held high, my back straight, I’m ten f****ng toes down… and I know no matter what there’s not another n**** that could ever f*** with me on this Earth.”

Now, Drake is back at it again with another vague message that people are going to deduce is for K-Dot. “I could never sell ya’ll out to sell my latest work. Never do you bad out the blue but I’m down to make it worse .” This caption accompanies a bunch of random photos. One that sticks out is an owl with the phrase,” We never sleep.” This could be a way for Drizzy to clear up the recent confusion as to why his verse was not cleared for Bfb Da Packman’s “Olympic S*** Talkin.” The Michigan rapper claimed they could not get it out because of the diss from Lamar. That could further confirm fans suspicions that a response was not going to happen yet.

Fans believe Jim Jones appears to have dissed Diddy and his associates during a new freestyle for On The Radar. During the freestyle, he raps: “I seen you rap b*tches and rap n****s inside that n***a’s house. Now, you acting different. I should air you n****s out.” When The Neighborhood Talk shared the clip on Instagram, users presumed he was referring to the various allegations against the Bad Boy mogul.

“So everyone was quiet until it was popular to be loud …. Got it!” one fan wrote. Another theorized Jones wasn’t dissing Diddy specifically. “He not shading… he saying people been hangn wit him now they want to act diff. Jim been hangn out wit diddy,” they commented.

After a fourth victim came forward with stories of abuse about Diddy back in December, he released a statement on Instagram. “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”, Diddy wrote in all-caps. “FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, I HAVE SAT SILENTLY AND WATCHED PEOPLE TRY TO ASSASSINATE MY CHARACTER, DESTROY MY REPUTATION AND MY LEGACY. SICKENING ACCUSATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AGAINST ME BY INDIVIDUALS LOOKING FOR A QUICK PAYDAY. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED. Despite Jones’ latest comments, he hasn’t always been at odds with Diddy. Gina Huynh Seems To Shade Yung Miami By Using “Yams” Lingo On Instagram

For reasons as of yet unknown, it seems like Gina Huynh is reigniting her beef with the City Girls’ Yung Miami. Moreover, for those unaware, the two called each other out a lot over their respective relationships with Diddy, bonds that have aged poorly and in a worrisome way considering his many sexual assault accusations. Regardless, fans thing that Huynh added more fuel to the fire by writing “Yams” on her Instagram Story, which is the Miami rapper’s current rollout “era” on social media and a big part of her branding right now. Again, it’s hard to say exactly why this is happening now, but we’ll see if either party has anything else to say about the other.

What’s more is that their feud, plus the allegations against Sean Combs, have caused many to look back at these connections. For example, Gina Huynh told Tasha K of the abuse she allegedly endured at the hands of Yung Miami’s future flame. “He stomped on my stomach really hard. Like, took the wind out of my breath,” she shared back in 2019 concerning Diddy. “I couldn’t breathe. He kept hitting me. I was pleading to him, ‘Can you just stop? I can’t breathe.’” Then, allegedly, he began to punch Huynh in the head and she fought back after having “enough of his s**t.”

“He was mentally, emotionally and physically abusing me,” Gina Huynh continued. “He would always compare me to Cassie and tell me that I’m the bad one, she’s a good one.” Many have wrongfully compared themselves or others to Diddy’s past relationships, all of which fall under a dark light now. Huynh also posited that no one who knew what was happening between them tried to stop it. Things apparently got more complicated when Puff offered her $5K to get an abortion after being pregnant with his child, and she claims to have gone through with the procedure but to have not accepted the money.

“I turned [the money] down because I just loved him, I wanted to,” Huynh explained. “I was, like, trying to prove that I wasn’t the girl that wanted him for money, I just cared about him, I just wanted him to be nice to me. That’s it.” We’ll see if this feud continues in any significant way, or if this will no longer overshadow the serious crimes beneath. Did Kid Cudi Just Shade Childish Gambino?

Kid Cudi is someone who is a pioneer in the hip-hop world. Overall, he is one of the most influential artists of this generation. When you look at artists like Travis Scott, you have to give credit to Cudi. From his autotuned crooned vocal stylings to his rager aesthetic, the man helped usher in a whole wave of artists. However, there have been times when Cudi has not gotten the credit he deserves. This has subsequently led to some frustration, and understandably so. Whether or not its productive, is another story completely.

That said, there have been times when Cudi has said something that could be misconstrued amongst the fans. He has made it seem like he has beef with certain artists. Even if that might not be true, it has led to some exchanges on social media. One would just have to look at the Lupe Fiasco situation to understand exactly what we mean. Well, now, it seems as though Kid Cudi might have an issue with Childish Gambino. In the tweet below, a fan suggested that Cudi should work with Gambino, however, Cudi said “im cool.”

While this isn’t exactly an active diss, one could try to read between the lines here. Furthermore, the flippantness with which he said “im cool” shows that he truly isn’t interested in such a collab. In the replies to this tweet, fans were questioning whether or not a feud existed between the two. Of course, there were those who were hoping that this is not really the case. Either way, Cudi didn’t do a good job of making it seem like there is no issue here. Hopefully, a clarification is given to fans at some point.

Furthermore, this is probably going to cause a lot of debate among fans on whether this even means what they think it means. The announcement and cover art reveal followed Ice Spice dissing Latto during an AMA with fans last week. She reacted to her music video for “Pretty Girl” playing in the background of Latto’s latest snippet, encouraging her to diss her outright instead of throwing subtle shade. “Why am I in the back of your weak a** snippet?” she asked. “I thought it was fake, I thought it had to be AI but no. Darius Jackson Shades Keke Palmer With Advice On Twitter: “Wait ‘Til Marriage”

Darius Jackson appeared to diss his ex-girlfriend, Keke Palmer, with a rant on Twitter, Monday afternoon. While discussing the difficulties of a custody battle, he advised his followers to wait until marriage before having children. Jackson and Palmer share a son who was born in 2023.

“I feel for the dads that gave up when it came to custody,” Jackson said. “It’s mentally, emotionally & physically draining. You’ll lose yourself. My spirit is too strong to give up. But I totally understand. I have pondered it. Thank God I have an amazing circle.” In another post, he added: “For those who don’t have kids & this is something that I will emphasize to my son. Wait til marriage & make sure God is the center of your relationship. There’s a rule book that’s been given to us thousands of years ago. Best to follow it. Cause everything else leads to chaos.”

Drake Appears To Shade Rihanna During “It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?” Opening Night

Drake seemed to throw a bit of shade at Rihanna during the opening night of his It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? in Tampa, Florida on Friday night. As his 2016 song, “Work,” began to play, he remarked, “I don’t sing this song anymore, but you [all] can sing it though.”

Drake teamed up with Rihanna for “Work” to assist on the singer’s eighth studio album, Anti. The song was a commercial success, spending nine weeks atop the US Billboard Hot 100. It was also nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 59th Grammy Awards.

Friday night isn’t the first time Drake has appeared to diss Rihanna.
