BigXthaPlug Kicks Fans Out Of His Show For Picking A Fight In The Crowd

BigXthaPlug rocked the stage in Los Angeles last night (Wednesday, December 4), but some particularly rowdy fans interrupted his good time. Moreover, he was performing his hit song “Law & Order” during his show at The Regent in downtown L.A. for his sold-out TAKE CARE tour when he saw two men fighting in the crowd. The Dallas rapper stopped the show and instructed security to escort the men out of the venue. In fact, he seemed peeved by the fact that they weren’t even taking their fight seriously or fighting over anything significant, which was another reason to kick them out.

As for the rest of the show, from what TMZ Hip Hop reports, everything went quite smoothly for BigXthaPlug, and you can see footage of the fight by clicking on the “Via” link down below. The rest of the crowd proved to not act as disruptively, and he could run through the rest of his fan favorites with no hiccup. The “Therapy Session” MC has had plenty of hot tracks over the years, especially in 2024. There’s no shortage of bangers on this setlist.

In fact, BigXthaPlug’s explosive run in 2024 landed him a spot on this year’s XXL Freshman Class alongside 4batx, Hunxho, Scar Lip, Rich Amiri, Cash Cobain, Maiya The Don, Skilla Baby, That Mexican OT, Lay Bankz, and Bossman Dlow. Even though this year’s biggest rap stories revolved around most of its established superstars, seeing this new generation captivate fans in a different way became quite the treat to witness in 2024. Hopefully BigX continues this dominance into 2025, or if he decides to take a break, he furthers his craft and artistry to another level.

Still, we hope that BigXthaPlug can enjoy that success without having to play babysitter for rowdy concert-goers. “The Largest” might just become that much larger next year, especially if his knack for grimy bangers and triumphant trap gets more and more engrossing. Even though fans might not show the due respect for some shows here and there, he doesn’t need much more to really establish himself as a performance force. Just fight for real if you’re going to interrupt a BigX show, or preferably, not at all.

Lil Xan Gets Body-Slammed In New Footage Of His Mid-Concert Attack Towards Fan In The Crowd

Lil Xan recently became a little too aggressive at a show, as he kicked a fan in the crowd in the face and threw a mic at him during a Saturday night (November 23) concert at the Boston nightclub Royale. Moreover, new footage also shows someone appearing to be a security guard body-slamming him to the floor shortly after the incident. Many people believe that the rapper is currently on the run from police over this incident, but this new footage shows that he did not get away without a scratch. It seemed like he just really wanted to get some combative energy off his chest.

Furthermore, it’s unclear why this whole situation occurred, what led up to it, or how its parties would explain it, especially since Lil Xan allegedly assaulted two other individuals on his way out. Police arrived shortly after he had already left, and it’s unclear if they made any progress in their pursuit at press time. It certainly wouldn’t be the Total Xanarchy artist’s only legal and criminal headache of the year, though, as he had to pay almost $30K after threatening a Tupac fan with a firearm.

Lil Xan Body-Slammed In New Footage

“That interview should’ve never even been aired ‘cause I wasn’t in a good place during the interview,” Lil Xan said of his previous comments on Tupac. “I was angry at that time. And all that came down to was a result of me just trying to get the interview done quicker. I was like, ‘Next question. Next question.’ And then they just give me questions and I’m messing around. I think Tupac is a legend. I don’t have to explain myself to anybody, but I grew up on a lot of old school West Coast, a lot of old school East Coast.”

“It started an interesting conversation in hip-hop,” Lil Xan added. “I did get a lot of backlash, of course, but as the years have gone by since that moment, it started what I think is a very good conversation in hip-hop. Why do these new cats in hip-hop that weren’t even born when someone like Tupac was around, why do they have to idolize them like the older people? They can appreciate the craft and the music. It’s good. It’s amazing, it’s better than good. But if you think about it like that, that’s some hating stuff right there.”

J Cole Announces One-Night-Only Concert For “2014 Forest Hills Drive” Anniversary

While J Cole has had a pretty tough 2024 all things considered, at least he will close it out on a very high note. On December 9, his commercial and critical masterpiece 2014 Forest Hills Drive will turn ten years old, and new physicals with bonus tracks emerged to celebrate. But in addition to that, the Dreamville boss will host a one-night-only concert celebrating the album at Madison Square Garden on December 16. Presale tickets go live on Monday (December 2) with certain unclear access, and general tickets will drop on Wednesday (December 4 ) at 10AM EST via this link.

But J. Cole’s late 2024 celebrations don’t stop there. He also launched the Inevitable audio series with Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad – his manager and label cofounder – and Scott Lazer. It goes over the North Carolina native’s entire discography piece by piece, contains some previews and snippets of unreleased material, and narrates a lot of Cole’s reflections and lessons throughout the different points of his career. It’s been a very compelling experience so far, and we can only imagine what will pop up once we get into the big blockbuster LPs like 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

“Aye, man, y’all don’t really understand,” Usher’s words for Al B. Sure! began. “This is A-1 for real right here. My first album, Usher, this man showed me the ropes. Usher Pays Tribute To Al B. Sure!

As far as other members of this musical family, though, the controversies roll in pretty fast. For example, Suge Knight recently accused Diddy of molesting Usher and Justin Bieber, as the Bad Boy mogul was one of the industry titans who introduced the 46-year-old to the world. “Everybody knows what Puffy did,” the Death Row boss alleged. “There’s not one person that didn’t know that Puffy was f***ing Usher. […] Usher spent the night with him and Puffy being in the same bed when they did an album. They never put out one song at that time.”

Meanwhile, Al B. Sure! has a complicated relationship with his son Quincy Brown, whose mother Kim Porter ended up dating Diddy. As such, many of these moving parts and crossovers have a darker context underneath, but that doesn’t mean some genuine love, care, and appreciation can’t shine through. Drake Puts On Surprise Performance During Latto’s Toronto Concert

Drake is the King of Toronto. The rapper has helped give the city a musical identity, and his co-sign will always mean a lot when artists come through and perform. This has been evident with Nicki Minaj, with PARTYNEXTDOOR, and now with Latto. Drake attended Latto’s Toronto concert on November 7, and his mere presence delighted both the rapper and the audience. It got even more exciting, though, when the 6 God decided to bust out in song during the concert.

Drake was handed a microphone, and he performed his Latto collab “Housekeeping Knows” alongside the rapper. It was a fun impromptu moment, especially since the Toronto icon never even left his seat in the audience. The 6 God merely stood up and spit his bars right where he was. He appears to be having a blast before handing it off to Latto to finish the rest of the song. Drake and Latto have been admirers of each other’s music for quite some time. Latto praised Drake (along with Kendrick Lamar) for helping to revive competitiveness in hip hop earlier this year.

Latto Has Frequently Been Compared To Drake

“They both still that n**ga, they both still the GOAT,” Latto told Billboard. “That sh*t fye for the culture, bruh. They both so talented, and they both on they high horse flexing their talent and capabilities.” Latto has also received Drake comparisons over the years. Most notably, on her new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. Fans came out of the woodwork to label the album “Drake-coded,” and felt Latto had taken the mantle of female Drake. Some even branded her the first lady of OVO, despite the fact that she isn’t signed to the Toronto label.

Latto has not shied away from these comparisons. When one Twitter user cited her as an example of the 6 God’s influence, she agreed. “Drake the GOAT,” she tweeted in response. It has definitely benefited her in the long run. “Housekeeping Knows” cracked the Hot 100, making it Latto’s tenth single to make it on the charts. The fact that Drake showed up to perform and lend his support also says a lot. He will usually only show out for longtime collaborators. Hopefully we get more Drizzy and Latto collabs in the future.

Chris Brown Faces Backlash In South Africa Over Upcoming Concert

Chris Brown is facing backlash in South Africa for his performance at the country’s FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. Women for Change, which advocates for the rights of women and children, has started a petition to stop the show. Sabina Walter, executive director of the group, spoke with BBC about the decision.

“When I saw the news that Chris Brown was coming to South Africa, I was shocked and deeply disappointed,” Walter said. “The petition was started to send a strong message that we will not tolerate the celebration of individuals with a history of violence against women. When someone like Chris Brown is given a platform in a country where GBV is at crisis levels, it sends a damaging message – that fame and power outweigh accountability.”

The petition has already generated over 20,000 signatures. The Change.org page cites Brown’s 2009 conviction for assaulting Rihanna during their infamous relationship. It also notes that South Africa is in the midst of a crisis of gender-based violence. “Allowing a man with such a history of violence to perform in South Africa, a country grappling with one of the highest rates of gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF) in the world, sends a harmful and dangerous message,” the page reads.

The backlash to Brown’s concert in South Africa comes as Investigation Discovery prepares for the premiere of its new documentary, Chris Brown: A History of Violence. It will air on the network later this month. The show will detail various allegations the controversial singer has faced throughout his career. It will also feature an interview with a new accuser. She says in the trailer, “I have not spoken about this matter publicly, but that’s the only way he can be stopped.” Be on the lookout for the documentary on October 27th. Nelly Fans Express Concern For Him After Alleged Drowsiness During Concert

Nelly recently reunited with St. Lunatics for a performance at the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special, but another concert drew discussion for more worrisome reasons. Or at least, that’s what many fans assumed. Basically, fans of the St. Louis artist expressed concern online after clips surfaced from a recent show where folks made note of his drowsy eyes, assuming that he’s either high or has something else going on. However, just as many fans thought that nothing was really out of the ordinary here, so we can chalk this up to fan speculation and reading pretty deeply into a performance.

Elsewhere, though, other Nelly fans focused on this recent St. Lunatics performance, especially given his legal troubles with the group. Nelly Fans Are Worried About His Stage Presence: See Comments For Reactions

As such, it looks like there’s still a chance for Nelly and St. Lunatics to reach an amicable agreement, and it looks like there’s not much bad blood to speak on in this case. Except for Ali Jones. He spoke to DJ Vlad last year about his issues, which may explain why he wasn’t present at their recent performance. “A tiger ain’t never gon’ change his stripes,” Jones expressed. “I watched it for 20 years and I’m the butt of the joke because it took me 20 years to realize it.

“I could put a never, ever behind it will I ever hit the stage or do anything with him,” Ali Jones continued. “He has no real raw good intentions for others. Not for us and we’ve all sat together and searched hard to try to find a time that didn’t benefit him. He got $50 million, I’m happy for him. That’s what he wants. The Pink Friday 2 World Tour is one of the most successful hip-hop treks of all time, so it’s no surprise that Nicki Minaj wanted to close things off with a bang. She held her last concert of the tour on Friday (October 11) in Elmont, New York, and brought along some special guests to grace the stage. Sexyy Red and 50 Cent (who was already an invited performer on this tour) hit the stage alongside the Trinidadian rap legend. The crowd was loving it, the artists themselves seemed to have a lot of fun, and it was overall a great close to this historic run.

Of course, it’s not like the Pink Firday 2 World Tour wasn’t without its fair share of salacious social media headlines and a few controversies here and there. Justin Timberlake has seen brighter days. The critical reception to his last album, Everything I Thought It Was, was tepid. The sales? Well, less than he probably thought it would be. Timberlake’s current tour has been defined, however, by the DUI arrest that occurred in July. The fallout from the arrest, and the quote that the singer made about the arrest ruining the tour, added fuel to the fire when it came to him being roasted online. Unfortunately, the bad breaks have continued. Justin Timberlake canceled a show the day it was scheduled, and fans cannot believe it.

Justin Timberlake broke the news on Instagram. The message is vague as to what occurred behind the scenes, but it made it very clear that the singer was “disappointed” with the postponement. “I have an injury that is preventing me from performing,” Timberlake wrote. “I’m so disappointed to not see you all.” He made it clear that he was “working” to reschedule the show, which was going to be in Newark, New Jersey. The pop superstar promised to make it up to the fans. They did not seem to go for it.

The details of Justin Timberlake’s injury have been kept under wraps. TMZ does report, however, that a doctor was present at the venue to examine the singer, and it’s believed that the injury was sustained to his ankle. This is not the first time that Timberlake has had to contend with knee and leg injuries. He was sidelined during the making of the film In Time back in 2011. The singer and sometimes actor was filming a scene in which he had to perform a stunt, and wound up hurting his calf. “Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set,” Fox said in a statement. JT also broke his thumb when he was still in N*SYNC.

Fans have flooded with social media to complain about the timing of Justin Timberlake’s announcement. Many feel the singer should have made the announcement much earlier, since the show was set to begin mere hours before. Many lamented the fact that they were already dressed to go out. Or worse, already in line and waiting to get a good spot at the New Jersey venue. “30 minutes before doors?,” one furious fan noted. Tyler, The Creator Cooks Elon Musk By Changing Concert Lyrics: Watch

Tyler, The Creator says and does what he wants. He has undergone several phases, in terms of his subject matter and musicality, but the one constant is his irreverent sense of humor. If Tyler, The Creator has a problem with somebody, they are going to know it. Case in point, the rapper’s recent performance at ACL Fest. He performed a version of his classic 2017 song “911/Mr. Lonely,” but instead of referencing Elon Musk in a positive light, as he did on the recording, he flipped the lyrics to diss Musk.

Musk has become persona non grata in popular culture. He’s become one of the most memed and mocked celebrities in the world, and Tyler, The Creator has taken note. The original lyrics on “911/Mr. Lonely” are seemingly indifferent to Musk. The rapper works the Tesla founder into his verse because it worked with the rhyme scheme and the bar about not requiring gas. “Can’t see straight, these shades are Céline Dion,” he raps. “Sucks you can’t gas me up, shout out to Elon… Musk, yeah I got a sold out show. Crowd wild out but don’t matter ’cause you not front row.” Tyler didn’t want it to sound like he shouted out the controversial X (formerly Twitter) owner, though, and made an aggressive change.

Tyler, The Creator Used To Be A Huge Musk Fan

“Man f*ck Elon,” Tyler, The Creator rapped to an ecstatic crowd. The rapper change of heart is not uncommon. Musk used to be a semi-popular figure to praise/reference. In 2016, Tyler even heaped praise on Musk for providing an electric alternative to gas powered vehicles. Ironically, the praise was through the app that Musk would eventually purchase, Twitter. “@elonmusk I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR CHANGING THE WORLD,” he wrote. “AND MAKING THE EVIL OIL MEN WHO RUN THE WORLD HATE YOU.” Tyler truly adored Musk during the mid-2010s, and would even have exchanges with the inventor on the platform.

Tyler also praised Musk during a 2015 appearance on Hot 97. The rapper was there to promote his album, Cherry Bomb, but he went off book and decided to shine a light on Musk’s achievements. He even compared the Tesla founder to rap moguls like JAY-Z, Master P and Diddy. The last one has not aged well, from any conceivable angle, but it’s hard to hold Tyler, The Creator accountable for that. He could not have known how the last decade was going to play out. A lot of people have seemingly fallen out of love with Musk, and Tyler is at the top of the list.
