Drake Shows Off How Much He Sweats During Tour Shows

Drake is no stranger to sharing some up-close-and-personal details with fans on social media. He loves to take to Instagram with a series of pictures and videos recapping what he’s been up to recently. That was the case once again when he shared a series of photos accompanied by his own lyrics “BIG AS THE SUPER 🥣” as the caption. The post includes some pictures and videos of him and J. Cole during their recent tour, but it’s a video showing the aftermath of their tour shows that got a lot of attention.

In one of the clips from his most recent Instagram post, Drake pulls off the white undershirt he’s wearing. Then he wrings an absolute ton of sweat out of it. In the comments fans can’t believe how sweaty he gets up on stage. “4th slide crazy! You giving 200% on that damn stage!” one of the top comments on the post reads. “Dat power ranger suit gon make ya sweat like dat 😂” another comment jokes. Check out the bizarre video of how much Drake sweats while on stage below.

Drake Wrings Out The Sweat From His Shirt After A Show

Over the weekend Drake popped up alongside a college basketball team. He was present with the University Of Houston Cougars when they were awarded one of the four number-one seeds in this year’s March Madness tournament. His appearance led plenty of fans to bring up the alleged “curse” he brings to sports teams. In the past teams have lost shortly after getting an endorsement from the rapper.

Drake has been a college basketball fan for a while. Earlier this month he found himself back in the Kentucky Wildcats’ locker room recreating a classic picture. What do you think of the amount of sweat that Drake’s shirt collects while he’s performing? Have you already, or do you plan on seeing one of the stops on the It’s All A Blur tour? Drake Shows Off His Carlton Dance On Stage During Recent Show

Drake’s “It’s All A Blur” tour has been churning away since last year. The tour began with 21 Savage and Sexyy Red on board before transitioning to a second leg earlier this year. The new shows include J. Cole and Lil Durk and have continued to make near nightly news. During a show in Pittsburgh last week, Drizzy unpacked some new dance moves that went viral and had fans cracking jokes, even as he seems to be in on it.

In a new TikTok making the rounds a fan captured Drake doing an instantly recognizable dance move. In the middle of one of his songs he unpacks The Carlton. The dance was made famous by Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air and has impressively lasted decades. That longevity certainly isn’t because the dance is necessarily cool. In fact, almost anybody doing it is seemingly well aware of just how silly it can look and the “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper is leaning into that silliness. Check out the video of him doing the dance below.

Drake Shows Off His Dance Moves In New Video

Earlier this month, Drake released the music video for his Sexyy Red and SZA collaboration “Rich Baby Daddy.” The video continued the creative and outside-the-box approach to visuals he’s taken for the entire For All The Dogs era. It comedically played on Sexyy Red’s real life pregnancy with a home movie style video documenting her being rushed to give birth. The video hilarious concludes with Red and SZA dancing alongside the rapper’s new born baby.

One of the fan-favorite cuts from For All The Dogs was “IDGAF” which featured Yeat. Subsequently, Drake repaid the favor recently by appearing on the song “As We Speak” from Yeat’s new album 2093. It was released on a deluxe edition of the album that followed just a day after the original dropped. What do you think of Drake doing The Carleton dance during a recent concert? Do you think the famously goofy dance makes sense for him? Let us know in the comment section below.

Drake Appears To Shade Rihanna During “It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?” Opening Night

Drake seemed to throw a bit of shade at Rihanna during the opening night of his It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? in Tampa, Florida on Friday night. As his 2016 song, “Work,” began to play, he remarked, “I don’t sing this song anymore, but you [all] can sing it though.”

Drake teamed up with Rihanna for “Work” to assist on the singer’s eighth studio album, Anti. The song was a commercial success, spending nine weeks atop the US Billboard Hot 100. It was also nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 59th Grammy Awards.

Friday night isn’t the first time Drake has appeared to diss Rihanna. On his For All The Dogs cut, “Fear of Heights,” he seemed to be referencing the singer and her album, Anti, with the lyrics. “Why they make it sound like I’m still hung up on you? / That could never be / Gyal can’t ruin me / Better him than me / Better it’s not me,” Drake raps. “I’m anti, I’m anti / Yeah, and the sex was average with you / Yeah, I’m anti ’cause I had it with you … / And I had way badder bitches than you, TBH.”

Drake and J. Cole are pushing back the dates on their highly anticipated It’s All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? with little notice. The run of concerts was set to kick off later this week in Denver with shows on January 18 and 19, but those will now be taking place in April to conclude the tour.

The tour will now begin on February 2 in Tampa Bay, Florida. The shows come after Drake and J. Cole collaborated on “First Person Shooter,” which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100, last year. Drake Proclaims He’s “Not Human,” Reposts Viral Concert Clip To Prove It

Drake has wild reflexes (well, sometimes…) that have him feeling “not human” as of late. Moreover, he recently reposted an old viral clip from his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage in which he quickly catches a book that a fan threw at him. In fact, it was one of the 6ix God’s own books, Titles Ruin Everything, which was his poetry collection that kicked off the rollout for For All The Dogs. “Never forget I’m not human,” he wrote as the video’s caption on his recent Instagram Story post. Given that Drizzy was also catching bras, posters, and so much more onstage, we’re sure that he had plenty of opportunities to hone his quick reaction times.

Furthermore, a lot of folks are excited to see him continue this run with another special guest to energize the trek. For those unaware, Drake and J. Cole are embarking on an “expansion” of the previous concert series: the Big As The What? tour. Not only that, but following increased fan demand and more visibility, the team added more dates on the journey for die-hards to cop tickets for. We’re sure that the Toronto star will want to display his inhumanness even more during these shows, and he’s going to have even steeper competition to live up to alongside the Dreamville MC.

Drake Claims He’s Not Human While Showing Off Reflexes: Watch

Of course, most fans would rather he display his alien nature through the quality of his music rather than his athleticism. Fortunately for them, Drake did this quite a bit in 2023– and these example weren’t even all from his solo material. He had a couple of amazing features this year, all of which took on a pretty unique tone, voice, angle, and intent. As one of the most versatile artists working today, we’d expect nothing less from the 37-year-old.

Meanwhile, next year should be a very interesting one for him. Amid Aubrey’s claims that he’s taking a break from music, plus some speculation that he’s beefing with Metro Boomin, eve off-years seem like anticipated moments for him. We’ll see what it holds, and whether we’ll doubt his humanity again. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, come back to HNHH.

Most Iconic Hip-Hop Tours Of 2023

Fans saw quite a few impressive hip-hop tours in 2023. Many of them coincided with the biggest releases of the year, some in celebration of major career milestones, and others serving as signifiers of artists’ new creative pursuits. As live music continues to pick back up following years of postponements and cancellations related to the pandemic, artists have kicked things into high gear, seemingly making up for the lost time.

Supporters have gotten the chance to catch beloved legacy acts, artists new to the mainstream embarking on their first-ever large-scale tours, and irrefutably skilled performers honed in more than ever this year, proving that live music is back in a big way. Check out some of the most iconic tours of 2023 below.

Beyonce – The RENAISSANCE Tour

In May, Beyonce embarked on her anxiously awaited RENAISSANCE world tour in Europe, setting off on the North American leg in July. The Texas native went about as big as one could go, enlisting the help of a massive flying “disco horse” as well as other extravagant props, and leaning into the tour’s silver theme with her intricate costumes. The hive followed suit, coming through with similarly elaborate looks in line with the essence of the tour. Beyonce’s nearly three-hour sets spanned almost the entirety of her discography, packing in plenty of fun crowd-pleasers and unapologetic anthems.

Her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy also adorably joined her onstage as a dancer throughout the majority of the tour, the cherry on top for dedicated Bey fans. After closing the tour in October, Beyonce immediately got to work on her corresponding concert film and documentary. It arrived in theaters on December 1, expectedly taking over the box office. It saw the largest opening for the first weekend of December in two decades, bringing in $21 million.

Drake & 21 Savage – The It’s All A Blur Tour

Most Iconic Hip-Hop Tours Of 2023

In July, Drake and 21 Savage kicked off the It’s All A Blur tour in support of their 2022 collaborative LP, Her Loss. They have since made their way across North America, performing in over 20 cities. Up until October, 21 Savage was unable to join the Toronto native for the tour’s Canadian stops due to immigration issues. He later secured his green card, as revealed in Drake’s track “8AM In Charlotte,” leading to speculation that he’d appear at the tour’s final scheduled dates in Toronto. Fans were left disappointed when night one came and went, with no sign of 21 Savage.

Rumors swirled that 21 Savage wouldn’t appear in Toronto at all, but luckily, he was able to perform on night two. Drake has since announced another leg of the tour alongside J. Cole, Big as The What?. while 21 Savage went on to perform across Europe, making the most of his new immigration status. This tour was Drake’s first in five years and featured plenty of special guests, giveaways, and more. It also coincided with the rollout of his eagerly-anticipated album For All The Dogs, making for some seriously charged crowds.

The Weeknd – The After Hours Til Dawn Tour

The Weeknd set off on his After Hours Till Dawn tour in the summer of 2022 and has been making his way around the world ever since. After wrapping up his scheduled North American dates, he embarked on the European and Latin American leg of the tour in 2023. Heading into the new year, he’ll make stops around Oceania.

The performer has broken various records so far, hitting several memorable milestones throughout his trek across Europe. He broke London Stadium’s attendance record, drawing in a staggering 80,000 fans. The tour later secured the title of the highest-grossing tour for a Black artist in European history. So far, fans have seen The Weeknd perform hits from 2020’s After Hours, 2022’s Dawn FM, and more. Striking visuals, unforgettable costumes, pyrotechnics and more have made the tour one to remember, cementing its place as one of the most memorable of the year.

Travis Scott – The Circus Maximus Tour

Following the release of UTOPIA, Travis Scott performed at the iconic Circus Maximus stadium in Rome. This followed the cancellation of his previously scheduled performance at the Pyramids of Giza. The show was a spectacle and even saw a surprise appearance from Kanye West. Shortly after, he announced his Circus Maximus tour in support of the album.

He kicked off the tour, which will see him stop in over 30 cities around the U.S. and Canada, in October. After taking over the charts with Utopia and with no doubts that the hitmaker would go all out, tickets for the trek went fast. Boasting elaborate stage design, pyrotechnics, and setlists comprised of an abundance of fan favorites, his performances have been a sight to see. After watching supporters clamor to get their hands on tickets, Travis Scott announced additional dates in November that run into next year.

50 Cent – The Final Lap Tour

50 Cent

In May, 50 Cent announced that he’d be taking a major trek across North America and Europe in honor of the 20th anniversary of his 2003 album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Marketed as the performer’s last all-in tour, as 50 Cent plans to adjust his focus to his other business endeavors, fans knew they were in for something big. Consequently, tickets have been selling like wildfire, with 840K purchased only a week after sales began. The hitmaker’s been joined by Busta Rhymes at all stops, and Jeremih for North American dates.

Audiences have been hyped at all of these shows, and understandably so. The 48-year-old has been giving his Final Lap his all, performing his classics and bringing out countless high-profile special guests. So far, fans have been surprised with the likes of Eminem, Nas, Fat Joe, and more. Fif’s currently on the international leg of the tour, which will run into 2024.

Doja Cat – The Scarlet Tour

Doja Cat embarked on the Scarlet tour on Halloween this year after unleashing her fourth studio album. Scarlet arrived alongside plenty of eye-catching and spooky visuals, indicating that supporters were in for quite a show when she set off on tour. It’s safe to say they haven’t been disappointed. The hitmaker has come through with plenty of dancing, fun and intricate costumes, and more.

Her setlists have included plenty of chart-topping Scarlet tracks, along with early hits, and even some covers. While performances from Doja have been exciting enough, she’s also been joined by Grammy nominee Ice Spice throughout the tour. The 23-year-old has gotten similarly comfortable in the charts over the past year or so, and has plenty of fun fan-favorite tracks, making for an entertaining show all around.

Ms. Lauryn Hill & Fugees – The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour

Lauryn Hill
Singer Ms. Lauryn Hill performs onstage with The Fugees at Crypto.com Arena on November 04, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Scott Dudelson/Getty Images)

Back in August, Lauryn Hill announced that she’d be embarking on a tour across the U.S. and Canada in honor of the 25th anniversary of her 1998 LP, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Joining the New Jersey native would be none other than her Fugees groupmates Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel. The news followed a mini-reunion that fans saw earlier in the year at the 2023 Roots Picnic. At the time, they were told to “stay tuned,” and were not left disappointed.

So far, audiences have seen the hitmaker perform classics from her Grammy-winning debut, as well as fan favorite Fugees hits. After setting off in September, however, Hill unfortunately had to postpone the remainder of the tour. Only a couple of months in, she revealed that she had “been battling serious vocal strain.” She’s now taking time off to rest her vocal cords but promises that the tour will conclude in 2024.

Drake Breaks Kendrick Lamar’s Record For Best-Selling Rap Tour

As the highest-grossing touring act of all time in hip-hop across his entire career, it’s no surprise that Drake can beat a few more records in this field. Moreover, his It’s All A Blur tour became the best-selling rap tour of all time- and that’s counting just 30 of the 72 shows on its schedule. This means that the 6 God beat out Kendrick Lamar’s The Big Steppers tour, which previously held claim to this milestone. K.Dot’s trek grossed around $110 million, whereas current calculations from Touring Data indicate that Drizzy earned about $130 million so far. Once we have data from the entirety of this concert series, that number will probably skyrocket.

Furthermore, perhaps this is an indicator of how successful these massive and mainstream hip-hop tours must be to warrant a seat at the table. Drake could very well raise this record by more than double if these numbers are accurate, creating a lot of safe distance between him and whoever is number two in this race. Other high-profile treks like Travis Scott’s current UTOPIA run, Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape shows, and many others could also find themselves in contention. But getting these kinds of profits with less than half of your concerts is a tough metric to reach.

Drake’s Estimated It’s All A Blur Tour Numbers So Far

For those unaware, the It’s All A Blur tour is getting yet another collaborative leg in the U.S. Its first iteration was alongside 21 S*vage, and in early 2024, Drake will hit the road once again- this time with J. Cole– for the trek’s second leg: the Big As The What? run. Surely, this additional collection of performances will be equally as acclaimed and popular, especially with another artist who people consider the GOAT. It’s actually quite curious that their other competition, at least when it comes to gross tour sales, is the other candidate in that three-headed race. Also, given the possible differences in pricing points, it’s unclear whether this tour was simply more expensive or got more people into its seats, and many will argue about whether that’s a valid achievement to boast about.

Meanwhile, with the lyrically dense and sonically classic expansion to For All The Dogs, Scary Hours 3, it’s nice to hear that Aubrey Graham is treating the rap game more like a competition and proving his worth. It’s boring for sales to be your main point of dominance, even if he’s still as culturally influential and popular as ever. Once a titan brings the bars out, their place in hip-hop stardom is a much more treasured and interesting type of contested reign. Nevertheless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake.

“It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As The What?”: Drake & J. Cole Add 10 New Dates

After closing out his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Sav in Toronto last month, Drake announced he would be taking some well-deserved time off to take care of his physical and mental health. Fans are fully in support of the rapper’s decision. He’s given us Certified Lover Boy, Honestly, Nevermind, Her Loss, and most recently, For All The Dogs over the span of just a few years. Despite his best efforts to rest, Champagne Papi continues to surprise us with a new project, Scary Hours 3, along with news of ten new dates added to his 2024 tour with J. Cole.

We were happy to hear the duo come together to get the Dreamville leader his first No. 1 single thanks to “First Person Shooter.” Now, they’ve joined forces again on “Evil Ways,” generating even more buzz for when the North Carolina native joins the Canadian onstage in January. They’ll be kicking things off in Denver, Colorado on the 18th with a show from the original tour that previously had to be rescheduled. Afterward, you can catch them in San Antonio and Oklahoma City, both of which have had additional shows added.

At this point in his career, Drake has nothing left to prove, yet he’s still dropping off new music consistently. On this weekend’s release, Scary Hours 3, he went in on others in the industry, such as Joe Budden, Kanye West, and Pusha T. Drake Is Back With “For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition”

Drake is back with new music! In a surprise move that has left fans buzzing with anticipation since he announced the surprise drop, For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition is out now. The project now features 29 tracks, including the originals on For All The Dogs and six brand new ones. J. Cole appears on new track “Evil Ways.” The 6 God, known for his chart-topping hits and game-changing albums, took to social media on Wednesday night (Nov. 15) to share the exciting news of a new album. In addition, in a cryptic video trailer announcement earlier today, Drake hinted at what listeners can expect from the new music. “You know, ultimately it’s coming to me in a way that I haven’t experienced since [2015’s] If You’re Reading This [It’s Too Late], where it’s just kind of like I feel like I’m on drugs,” he says in a voiceover.

The additional tracks Drake’s confidence in his latest body of work is admirable. He declared “I feel no need to appease anybody. I feel so confident about the body of work I just dropped that I know I can go and disappear for whatever… six months, a year… two years.” This bold statement suggests that the third installment of Scary Hours might be a standout move to close out the year. After having a big year, with just finishing out his It’s All A Blur Tour, to dropping the highly-anticipated For All The Dogs, Drake’s not taking any breaks. In recent news, he also announced that he’s going back on tour, but this time with J. Cole.

However, the timing couldn’t be more perfect, with the rapper also revealing his plans for the 2024 It’s All a Blur Tour — Big As the What? tour alongside J. Cole. It seems Drake is poised to close out 2023 on a high note, leaving fans excited as always for the new music. Let us know what you think of the new six tracks! Are you feeling any of the new songs?
