Despite his best efforts, Lil Baby seems to have gotten caught up in the Blueface and Chrisean Rock drama. He originally entered it through a beef with Blueface. The two rappers exchanged some indirect disses aimed at each other on social media and in music videos. Ultimately though, they settled things. Baby spoke on Blueface’s improved treatment of Chrisean and mentioned specifically that he was done having opps. Normally that would have been the end of things but Chrisean wasn’t done.
In a back-and-forth on Twitter between her and Blueface, the rapper brought up her sister in a tweet describing her as a “real one.” Chrisean answered by referencing the fresh beef with Lil Baby and calling him a real one, which the rapper didn’t take kindly to. He ended up going on a Twitter tirade making sure that Chrisean knew to stop summoning him into her business. That even prompted a response from Blueface who couldn’t help but laugh at Baby clapping back at her even after all she praised him. Now, new photos of an encounter between Chrisean and Baby are emerging and fans are trying to fit the pieces together.
In the comments of the post, fans aren’t convinced it adds much to the story. “Oh no not two adults talking,” the top comment on the post sarcastically asserts. Others agreed leaving comments like “That’s regular conversation,” and “pls put this to rest.”
Lil Baby is also still in the news cycle for a shooting that took place at one of his shows in Memphis last month. Details emerged after the police eventually arrested the man responsible. Internet sleuths dug up collaborations between him and the man who was shot almost immediately after the news broke. Baby has still had very little to say about the situation since it happened. Kelly Rowland says that Nipsey Hussle has inspired her to focus on raising her boys “to have integrity.” She discussed parenthood during an interview with Kindred for its “Black Joy Issue.” Rowland is currently married to Tim Weatherspoon. They share two sons, born in 2014 and 2021.
“I just want to get this right,” Rowland began. “I want to really be a part of bringing some really amazing young men forth into the world. That was my only prayer. … My only prayer was to have really great young Black men in this world who were sure of themselves and didn’t have to be told who they were. I really cared about that because the narrative is tough as it is.”

Rowland continued: “I wanted my boys to have integrity and I got that from Nipsey Hussle. It’s amazing to me that he would talk to his kids about making the right decision even when no one is watching. That was everything. Nobody knows how much, how hard you work, but you do it because you love it. I want them to be the kind of men who are proud of themselves. That’s really important to me — being good decision-makers.” From there, she brought up the importance of taking an interest in what your child cares about. “If we’re gonna grow our kids, like, let’s be lost in their interests and the things that bring them joy. Let’s have joy with them about it,” she said.
Rowland also admitted that she’s had to learn that her mother’s parenting choices weren’t always the right ones. “I hate to mess up. But I’m literally giving myself grace. I’m learning that maybe all of the decisions that my mom made were not the greatest decisions. And I’m trying to change that this generation,” she added.
Yesterday, news hit the internet that Blueface was being sentenced to 24-60 months in jail for a shooting that happened outside a strip club last year. The news didn’t end up being quite as dramatic as it seemed though. The rapper and reality star was handed down a suspended sentence that likely won’t result in any jail time as long as he can stay away from guns and out of trouble while the sentence plays out. The result of the case has to be seen as a victory for the rapper who avoided harsher trouble despite his history with the law.
One of the more viral moments of the sentencing came as a result of the victim of the case. The man who was shot took a selfie in court with both Blueface and his entire legal team in the background. He shared the picture to Twitter and it quickly began making the rounds online. That included the rapper himself who caught the picture and posted his own response. “This man showed up to court told on me just to take a photo with me,” he said in a tweet responding to the situation. Before his recent sentencing, Blueface had been spending plenty of time with Jaidyn Alexis recently. Yesterday was her birthday and the pair dropped a new video to celebrate. “It’s a real b**ch C-Day today. First Lady of MILF MUSIC, the one y’all love to hate. TURN MY B**CH UP TODAY ON SY,” he said in a tweet celebrating her big day.

In a 2022 interview with Paper Magazine, the pair detailed how their love story began in late 2019. They first crossed paths in an unlikely place: a mall, which made for a modern-day Hip Hop Cinderella story of sorts. Moneybagg Yo saw Ari Fletcher but did not approach her right away. She piqued his interest but he took it upon himself to find out who she was. Soon after, Moneybagg Yo got to work, reaching out to mutual friends and whosoever he felt might have known her.
He told the people he reached out to that he wanted to make sure Ari attended an upcoming party that was being thrown in Atlanta. Things fell into place and Fletcher came to the party. Once she arrived, Moneybagg Yo found his way to the section she was in and finally felt ready to shoot his shot. Evidently, it was successful, as the two have been inseparable since they got together. In the interview, Ari Fletcher joked about Moneybagg Yo “stalking her since.”

Before Ari Fletcher and Moneybagg Yo started dating, they had recently come out of two high-profile relationships. Moneybagg Yo had previously dated rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the beginning of her career. Ari Fletcher, on the other hand, was with rapper G Herbo. Several months passed between the initial rumors and when the couple finally admitted to being an item. For a long while, Diddy and Yung Miami ignored the prying questions, but still further fueled public speculation. All of that finally changed in June 2022. Diddy and Yung Miami addressed the topic in an episode of Yung Miami’s podcast, Caresha Please. When Yung Miami asked him, “What we is?” on the episode, here’s what Diddy had to say: “We date, we’re dating. We go have dates. We’re friends. We go to exotic locations. We have great times.” Diddy definitely took his time coolly spelling all that out. They eventually moved on from the topic as the conversation progressed. In September 2022, during an interview with XXL, Yung Miami further elaborated on her relationship with Diddy. “We are dating. We single, but we’re dating,” she said. “People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single.”
She clarified the nature of their relationship as well, which led to the media insisting that they had an open relationship. However, Yung Miami simply meant that while they were hanging out and going on dates, there was no official title yet concerning their relationship. “He see other people outside of me and I see people outside of him,” she said. “I’m young, I’m dating, you know, having fun… doing me. He’s doing the same thing. I can’t speak for exactly what he doing or who he seeing, but we single and we dating.”
Nov. 2022: More Relationship Shenanigans
Between September and November 2022, Diddy and Yung Miami were seen together often. Yung Miami was also featured on the remix of his song “Gotta Move On,” and she appeared in the music video. In November, Diddy received an iced-out chain from Yung Miami for his birthday. The two were openly affectionate towards each other, and glimpses of their relationship often made it into social media.

In April 2023, in an interview with The Cut, Yung Miami shared that she was no longer dating Diddy. After answering “no” when asked if they were still together, she further elaborated. “We’re still friends! We’re still good friends! But we’re single,” she said. “That’s not my man. We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were fucking with each other hard… were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”
However, while their relationship officially lasted almost a year, the pair are still very much having fun together. Furthermore, they continue to fuel rumors of being an item. For example, Yung Miami and Diddy recently spoke about their sex life, among other things on Apple’s Love Radio. From the grassroots of their musical partnership to Nicki’s epic breakthrough and establishing an undeniable legacy, the pair have been through quite a lot.
Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels first met in Queens, New York, in 2000. They were aspiring rappers who both shared a mutual passion for Hip Hop. Prior to their professional journey together that kicked off a few years later, the pair started dating. Their partnership would eventually last for over a decade.
Before signing with Young Money Entertainment, Nicki Minaj was briefly a member of the rap group the Hoodstars, joining the collective in 2002. The group was made up of four rappers: Lou$tar, 7even Up, Nicki Minaj, and Scaff Beezy (Safaree Samuels). Minaj and Samuels soon left the group to pursue solo careers, but even while in Hoodstars, they were allegedly romantically involved. A pivotal point in Nicki Minaj’s career was when she signed with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment in 2009. Her popularity greatly increased, and she began to cement her place in the Hip Hop Hall Of Fame. Still, Safaree remained unsigned, but slowly began gaining prominence in the music industry. Safaree co-wrote on Minaj’s albums, Pink Friday (2010) and Pink Friday… Roman Reloaded (2012). He also contributed backup vocals on a handful of songs by Nicki Minaj, and he appeared in the music video for her song, “Stupid Hoe.” It was during this period that fans and the media started following Minaj and Samuels’ relationship closely.
Somewhere along the line, Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels’ relationship had started to sour. Nicki appeared to be constantly annoyed by Safaree in public, something many noticed almost instantaneously. There have been many speculations and theories about when, and why it started, but the first apparent sign was in July 2011. Nicki Minaj was reportedly involved in a scuffle with an unidentified man in a Dallas hotel. Allegedly, she was struck on her lower lip during the altercation. In the aftermath of the incident, when the police arrived, Minaj insisted on not pressing charges on her alleged attacker. While the person who attacked Minaj was unidentified, the public believes Safaree to be the one whom she had the scuffle with. The two strongly denied the claims on their respective social media pages.

The rumors about tension in the couple’s relationship proved valid. While they still held things together for a while, it wasn’t long until their longstanding relationship came to an end. Although Safaree was actively involved in Minaj’s early mainstream success, her breakthrough was gargantuan and his career paled in comparison to hers. Consequently, the curtain was drawn on both their personal and professional relationship in 2014. In previous years, there had been rumors of the two breaking up, but in 2014, it was official. TMZ sources claimed that the reason the two broke up was because Safaree had grown uncontrollably jealous of Minaj’s success.
In the years that followed, the two heavily beefed each other on social media. Safaree, at one point, claimed to have written most of Nicki Minaj’s songs. The rapper has vehemently disputed the claim. She fired back, claiming Safaree was simply trying to tear her down.
These days, things are a lot less heated between the two, and they barely speak about one another anymore. In December 2022, Safaree acknowledged Nicki Minaj on her 40th birthday by posting an old picture of the rapper on his social media accounts. Since their fallout, both stars have forged on in their respective careers. Safaree Samuels now stars in Love & Hip Hop: Miami, after appearing in several other reality TV shows. Nicki Minaj’s fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2, is expected to drop later in 2023.
Drama continues to follow Elon Musk wherever he goes. Some of it spawns from his relationship with his ex Grimes, which continues to be dragged into the public light. Last month that spawned an online beef with Shivon Zills, another woman who has children with Musk. Ultimately, they settled the beef pretty quickly showing off their co-parenting ability. But the weird energy between Musk and his respective exes re-emerged when a biography about the tech billionaire was released.
In the biography, it was unveiled that Grimes and Elon Musk actually have a third child that was previously unknown to the public. The existence of the child and their name, Techno Mechanicus, caught a lot of attention online. What spoke even more directly to Musk’s attitude was a story about the mother’s c-section. Musk reportedly sent pictures of the procedure to numerous people unprompted including Grimes’ brother and father. He also reportedly didn’t understand why she was upset by the move. Now the tension between the two is moving into a legal format.
Now according to Page Six the singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, is suing Musk. She filed a a petition to establish parental relationship which could lead the court to identify the legal parents of a child when they’re unmarried. Though the filings have been sealed they report that Musk is yet to respond to the legal maneuver. If the move to establish parenthood works it could lead to an opportunity for Boucher to seek out custody or child support in the future.
Grimes hasn’t released a new album since 2020’s Miss Anthropocene. Earlier this year she teamed up with Illangelo for a new single called “I Wanna Be Software.” There have also been dozens of tracks released with the singer’s AI-generated vocals through her GrimesAI platform. This is a pretty solid endorsement of the pop star. However, it certainly doesn’t mean this romance is going to last a long time. Kelce is reportedly focused on the Chiefs right now, especially as they sit at 3-1. They are a team that has struggled a bit on offense, and Kelce will need to be at his best for the rest of the year. If he ends up in the Super Bowl again, however, perhaps Taylor will still be around to go.

In a follow-up post, she showed a picture of the actor sitting in front of her. She’s since removed both posts from her page, however, Akademiks shared them on Instagram, Monday night.

XXXTentacion was shot and killed back in June 2018 while leaving a motorcycle dealership in Florida. Three men were found guilty of first-degree murder and armed robbery in the killing, earlier this year.
