Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s on-again, off-again relationship is off… again.

TMZ reports that the pair “have split just months before the arrival of their baby.” They ended things over Thanksgiving weekend while spending time together in Vail, Colorado. The reason for the breakup is Fox allegedly finding “material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early. MGK dipped out of the trip early, and since then, the former couple hasn’t seen each other, and they are not together at this time.”

Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (real name Colson Baker) announced that they were expecting their first child together last month.

On the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this year, host Alex Cooper asked Fox to confirm the rumors that she and MGK got engaged then called it off. Fox replied, “All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred.” She added, “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.”

MGK Claims He’s “Isolating” In Desert Before Megan Fox Gives Birth

MGK and Megan Fox are not a normal couple. They are strange even by celebrity couple standards. From their polarizing joint interviews to MGK’s infamous “I am weed” proclamation when they first met, the two have continued to baffle and fascinate the public. Their streak of inexplicable choices was extended on Monday, November 25. MGK took to social media to announce that he was taking drastic measures to finish recording on his upcoming album. Measures made all the more drastic by the fact that Megan Fox is currently pregnant with their child.

MGK hopped on Twitter to inform fans that he will be retreating to the desert. He’s not hiding out from his partner or anything, he merely wants to get his head straight and focus on music. “Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch,” the rapper turned rock star explained to his fan base. “When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time.” Perhaps sensing that fans would be confused by the timing, MGK assured them he is ready to assume dad duty when he returns. “Don’t worry,” he added. “After all, I’m about to be a dad again!”

MGK Wants To Complete His Album Before Fox Is Due

MGK has been vocal about the impact that fatherhood has had on his life. The rapper told the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast that it was the birth of his daughter, Casie Baker, that helped him to get sober. “It took me a while afterward, because obviously drugs have a vice grip on you,” MGK admitted. “That was step one for me. As a father and as a man, to be the father I wish my dad would have been, I have to break this generational curse for my kid.”

MGK and Megan Fox will be welcoming their first child today after the latter suffered a miscarriage. She opened up about the traumatic experience during a 2023 interview with Good Morning America. “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” Fox noted. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us.” MGK dedicated the songs “Don’t Let Me Go” and “Last November” to his unborn child.

Today (November 11), Megan Fox confirmed she’s pregnant with her and MGK’s (formerly Machine Gun Kelly) first child together.

Fox shared the news on Instagram. The two-image post features a maternity photo of Fox, naked but covered in black oil as she shows off her baby bump. The second photo is of a positive pregnancy test. She tagged MGK in the post, confirming that he’s the father. The post is captioned, “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back.”

The caption references a miscarriage Fox and MGK experienced, which Fox spoke about in 2023.

Both Fox and MGK have children from previous relationships. Fox is mother to three boys — Noah Shannon Green (born in 2012), Bodhi Ransom Green (born in 2014), and Journey River Green (born in 2016) — with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, as People notes. MGK also has a daughter, Casie Colson Baker, born in 2009, per People.

Meanwhile, MGK recently spoke about how he’s perceived in the hip-hop community and how he believes it differs between races, saying, “I won’t deny that there is a subconscious stigma around that — being white in hip-hop. To me, it’s so funny because the streets f*ck with me so tough. It’s honestly from other white people that give me the most sh*t.”

MGK Is Convinced ‘Other White People’ Give Him ‘The Most Sh*t’ About His Hip-Hop Origins

Before he was known for dating Megan Fox, singing John Denver covers, giving himself realistic fangs, Cleveland, Ohio rocker was better known for an extended rap career that culminated in a vitriolic back-and-forth with Eminem. Departures into rock and country aside, it’s a career he maintains he never turned his back on (with a few recent singles to prove it).

In fact, in a new interview, he assigns blame for his treatment by the public to his hip-hop origins, asserting that he’s stigmatized as a white rapper — but mostly by other white people. On Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, MGK told the internet troll turned part-time WWE superstar, “I won’t deny that there is a subconscious stigma around that — being white in hip-hop. To me, it’s so funny because the streets f*ck with me so tough. It’s honestly from other white people that give me the most sh*t.”

He also has a bit of a theory about why that might be — and it connects to that battle with fellow white rapper Eminem. “The crazy thing is there’s only been one who’s done it,” he said of dissing the hip-hop legend, who has been considered something of a North Star for other white rappers like Jack Harlow, Mac Miller, and Russ. “There’s only been one who’s done it and crossed that line of acceptance.”

You can watch the full episode above; the conversation about hip-hop begins at the 37-minute mark.

MGK Blames White Fans For Stigmatizing White Artists In Hip Hop

MGK had a lot to say during his appearance on the Impaulsive podcast. He popped off on UFC star Sean Strickland, which we covered in detail here. The rapper also had a bone to pick with a specific subsect of his fans. MGK feels that white rappers are unfairly stigmatized, and the group of people who are to blame are, well, white. He cited various instances throughout his career in which he was made to feel unworthy or less lyrical than his African American peers. He claimed that the people who made him feel that way were the same color as him.

“I won’t deny that there is a subconscious stigma around that, being white in hip hop,” MGK noted. His answer did catch the Impaulsive hosts off guard, however. “To me, it’s so funny because the streets f*ck with me so tough. It’s honestly from other white people that give me the most sh*t.” MGK then said that his goal was to be able to overcome this stigma. He claims he did, but it did, admittedly, take moving to another genre for a couple of albums before coming back with new bars. “That’s the goal,” he stated. “And to me, I crossed that.”

MGK Cites Eminem As An Exception To The Rule

It’s not an MGK interview if there’s not some mention of Eminem, though. The rapper has a complex relationship with Slim Shady, and it’s safe to say the complexities are reciprocated. Eminem did, after all, reference MGK on his new album. He also joked about the rapper sleeping with his mom. But we digress. MGK pointed to Em as a rare instance of a white emcee being embraced by white and Black fans alike. “The crazy thing is, there’s only been one who’s done it,” MGK asserted. “There’s only been one who’s done it and crossed that line of ‘we accept.’”

This is not the first time MGK has waxed poetic about whiteness in hip hop. During a 2022 interview with DJ Semtex, he pointed to his appearance as a hindrance. “[I] feel like right now, my biggest hindrance in why you don’t hear things like, ‘MGK is lyrically hot’…[is] the white thing,” he claimed. “Mixed with the fact that I don’t dress like the normal Hip Hop person.” The rapper’s recent discussion of the topic on Impaulsive definitely had a bit more tact. Not much, but a bit more.

MGK Bashes Sean Strickland During Podcast And The UFC Star Claps Back

MGK likes to pick fights. He’s been a confrontational artist since day one, and the biggest moment of his career, the Eminem beef, stemmed from this quality. It should come as no surprise, then, that MGK had a lot to say about UFC star Sean Strickland. He went off during when asked about Strickland during a stint on the Impaulsive podcast. He not only claimed that Strickland was too insecure to be himself, but was a bad person behind closed doors. The UFC fighter eventually clapped back.

MGK really had knives out for Sean Strickland. Impaulsive host Logan Paul seemed genuinely surprised by how much the rapper hated the former middleweight champion. “I don’t know this guy from a crumb of bread,” MGK stated. “Didn’t know who he was when I met him. I got hip afterward that he’s insanely racist and homophobic and just not my type of guy, so I would have never wanted to shake his hand in the first place.” It got more intense from there. He proceeded to address Sean Strickland directly, and told him to “shut the f*ck up.” MGK also called him a “f*cking idiot” for good measure.

MGK And Strickland Have Been Beefing Since February

Strickland did not like what he heard (obviously). He took to Twitter a day after the MGK interview dropped, and fired back with a few insults of his own. The UFC star clowned the rapper of having an identity crisis despite being in his mid-30s. “Dawg you had a mid life crisis and tattooed your entire body,” he asserted. The language and the overall vitriol gets turned up as the tweet goes on. “The the [sic] ‘x community of intolerance’ yall,” Strickland added. “I’d hang out with you toxic trolls any day over this c**t.”

Sean Strickland ended his message by telling MGK to “go back to cutting” himself. He also threw in a “f*cking weirdo” for good measure. When someone calls you a “f*cking idiot,” a rebuttal seems pretty fair. For context, MGK and Sean Strickland first crossed paths in February. Both celebrities were at the Power Slam event, and their disdain for each was apparently on sight. An altercation between MGK and Strickland broke out. The latter took to Twitter afterwards and claimed that he “almost hit a vampire.” It doesn’t sound like these two are going to make up anytime soon.

Machine Gun Kelly Says Sean Strickland Is Just Not His ‘Type Of Guy’ After Rattling Off A Few Damning Accusations

Sean Strickland is in for the fight of his life, and it doesn’t involve a UFC octagon. Today (August 27), Machine Gun Kelly delivered a few blows to the former champion’s public image.

During the “Lonely Road” rapper’s appearance on the Impaulsive podcast, MGK let loose on Strickland.

When host Logan Paul brought Strickland up, MGK took a moment to clap back at him following the remarks he made about him, his seemingly former fiancée Megan Fox, and her children last week (August 20) on the Verse Us With Eric Nicksick podcast.

“I don’t know this guy from a crumb of bread,” he said. “I didn’t know who he was when I met him. I got hip afterward that he’s insanely racist and homophobic and just not my type of guy, so I would have never wanted to shake his hand in the first place. If you’re comfortable as yourself, you don’t care who anybody else is and how they are.”

But that was just the start of his unloading, as he straight demanded that Strickland: “Shut the f*ck up.”

However, MGK made it clear that always he wants Strickland to lay off, he’s not done with the matter just yet. “Don’t speak on me anymore and live your life,” he said. “But you won’t, and I’m going to continue laughing at you because you’re a f*cking idiot.”

Yes, MGK is known for being a wild boy. But, in this case, it appears he’s just finishing what Strickland started. If you know anything about is back-and-forth with Eminem, MGK has proven to have amazing stamina when it comes to beefs.

Nelly Makes Surprise Appearance At MGK Show After His Arrest: Watch

Nelly came through and crushed the building over the weekend. The rapper decided to pull up to the annual MGK Day celebration in Cleveland and treat fans to a medley of his biggest hits. The decision wasn’t publicized, but what made Nelly’s appearance even more surprising was the legal trouble he’s recently been involved in. Nelly was arrested in his native St. Louis on a pre-existing traffic charge. He was subsequently released, and appears to be in high spirits.

Fans were thrilled to see Nelly, but it looked like MGK was the most stoked person at the venue. He posted a video of the rapper’s performance and wrote “Nelly just pulled up wtfff” on Instagram. He appeared awestruck while Nelly performed classic hits like “Air Force Ones” and “Grillz.” MGK even made reference to the former song on Twitter. “I should’ve worn my all whites and threw in the colored fat laces,” he quipped. The show got even better when MGK stopped the music and shared a personal anecdote about Nelly with the crowd.

Nelly And MGK Performed “Air Force Ones” Together

“The first concert I ever went to, you were opening up for Destiny’s Child,” MGK told Nelly. “And you played ‘Rid wit Me’ and money came from the ceiling with your face on it. And I was in fifth grade so I picked it up and thought it was real.” MGK then praised the St. Louis rapper for the impact he’s had on hip-hop. “You don’t know what you mean to me in this journey,” he added. “It’s so inspiring, thank you for coming.” Nelly showed love back via social media. “I hit the jackpot with MGK,” he wrote on his IG Story. “No arrest, just good vibes.”

The caption made light of the circumstances in which Nelly was arrested. The rapper was arrested at a casino when a background check revealed an outstanding traffic arrest warrant. He was subsequently taken into custody and escorted out of the casino. According to the Daily Beast, however, there was a silver lining. The rapper managed to win $30K on the jackpot slots prior to his arrest. It was his attempt to collect his winnings, in fact, that led to the background check in the first place.

Machine Gun Kelly Divulges On His Rehab Journey

Machine Gun Kelly guested on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast on Monday. During their near two-hour conversation, they touched on a number of topics, including his rough childhood, issues with his mother, and why he left hip-hop to do rock instead. MGK also revealed that he has been sober for a year, having gone to rehab at the conclusion of his European tour for several substance-related issues.

“I’m completely sober from everything. I don’t drink anymore. I haven’t drank since last August,” MGK revealed. The Cleveland artist says being sober has benefited his relationship with his daughter Casie. “I’m really happy when I’m clear and me and my daughter are having our conversations and I’m coming from a place of being centered and holding space for what a child needs from their parent,” he added. “Both of my feet are on the ground and I’m unstoppable.” MGK also recalled his daughter saying that she knew when he was high during their conversations, which was a wake-up call.

Machine Gun Kelly Reveals He Is Completely Sober After Rehab Stint

In March, Megan Fox confirmed her and MGK’s engagement was off. During the recent interview, MGK admits his substance abuse had to do with the relationship ending. He also mentioned that Fox’s disappointment in him not being able to get clean was part of the reason he went to rehab at all. The two have been in a relationship since 2020. Fox also sparked pregnancy rumors after her cameo in the video for MGK and Jelly Roll’s song, “Lonely Road.

At one point during the show, Bunnie asked MGK if he was up for a drinking contest against Jelly Roll. Kelly had to politely decline, though he did make it clear that he would have taken up that offer if he wasn’t on the sobriety path. “It just kills me because I just know I would have f*cking drank that man under the table!” It was a brief moment of levity during what appeared to be a very heavy podcast episode. MGK’s full conversation with Bunnie XO is available everywhere that podcasts are available, though the video version is not yet on her YouTube channel.
