Rihanna Reportedly Fears Becoming Single Mom As ASAP Rocky Faces Trial

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are growing their family and looking forward to a lot of career and life success down the road. However, right now, it seems like the couple is incredibly stressed about the latter’s firearm assault case from his associate A$AP Relli. Moreover, this comes from alleged source reports close to the family from Heat Magazine, who allegedly spoke to the outlet about their supposed knowledge of the situation. Apparently, the Barbadian singer is “terrified” of becoming a single mother if her partner faces jail time over this alleged incident. While she is as strong and as capable as ever, we can’t imagine the risk at hand here just when you’re starting a family of your own.

Furthermore, the source claimed that Rihanna is trying to “stay calm” amid all this legal drama. The most recent update on it is that the case is officially moving to trial. In addition, apparently ASAP Rocky’s lawyers are assuring her that they will keep him out of prison. “But it’s pretty hard when everyone had assured her this wouldn’t even go to trial,” the alleged source posited.

“He’s facing nine years, and she’s terrified right now,” the source continued. “If the worst happens, and they want to make an example of him, she’ll be raising her two kids alone. It’s a total nightmare, and not something Rihanna ever thought she’d face. She’s so stressed out and losing sleep over this.” Meanwhile, the source had this to say about the New York MC. “He’s in legal meetings all day and is in a terrible mood. It’s all just a mess. Of course, we wouldn’t wish this situation on anyone, whether you’re on the accusatory or defensive side of this turmoil. Chrisean Rock Says She’d Rather Be A Single Mom Than Deal With Blueface

If you think true love is predictable, take a look at Chrisean Rock and Blueface’s relationship to see that it’s anything but. However, it might not be true at all, as the “Baddies” star recently expressed on Instagram Live that she would be okay with being a single mom if it meant she didn’t have to deal with the rapper. Moreover, the two engaged in some back-and-forth insults online after she opened up about her pregnancy. Overall, it’s been quite the wild ride over the past 24 hours, a ride that we probably won’t get off of anytime soon.

After all, they are just as prone to fighting as they are to make up, though this seems like a new and unfortunate low. No soon-to-be mother should have to deal with this, warranted or not. Chrisean Rock went on to blast Blueface for complaining about her “sob story” online and not talking it out maturely. In addition, she discarded the possibility of an abortion, saying that the process would be too damaging as she’s too far along. Most importantly, she said that if it’s meant for her to be a single mom, so be it.

Chrisean Rock also blasted Blueface on Twitter. “Stop subbing about the b***h [that] live with [you], gettin’ to it with you,” she wrote. “We busy every weekend, casually picking up money. N***as gotta stop being lame on the social. Like I said… We can either make this s**t last [and] make it better, or just let all [this] go [and] I’ll try again on my own. Tired of taking disrespect from a n***a that’s supposed to be motivating me to get more [and] shine more.”

Meanwhile, Blueface’s mother has had a field day on social media talking about all this, whether arguing with fans online about it or sending her own messages to Chrisean. “Well, congratulations on being a ninja’s 2nd Baby Mama!!!” she wrote on her IG Story. “May God bless the child. This is what fans wanted so desperately for her life.” Hopefully Rock is in a much better place when her child is born. Marques Houston Clarifies Comments On Single Mothers

Marques Houston recently made some inflammatory comments about single mothers, calling them a “red flag.” Now, the singer and actor took to social media to respond to the backlash and apologize for his insensitive remarks. Not only that, but it also comes after Immature group mate Romeo responded on his behalf and gave an apology to fans, stating that he doesn’t agree with Houston’s views. However, that might have brushed Marques the wrong way, at least from what his Instagram Stories indicate. First, though, there’s his actual apology.

“I humbly apologize for the comments I have made, and to those I have offended,” Marques Houston began. “I have a deep respect for all women of any age, race, or background. My comments made in a recent interview was taken out of context. I work with many independent women every single day, and have ultimate respect for them and what they are able to accomplish in this world and my choice of words, or how they were taken, does not reflect how I view them. So again, I would like to apologize, and will use this experience to both better myself and the men I’m an example to.”

Marques Houston Addresses Backlash To Single Mothers Comments

Before that, Romeo came through with a letter of his own addressing the issue. “I would like to extend my sincerest apologies in regards to the insensitive statements made by my former group member Marques Houston,” he began. “Women today have enough battles to endure including the policing of their bodies, equal pay in the workplaces, and beauty standards. It is never ok to degrade one group of women in order to praise another. As artists, it has always been important to us that the content of our music and who we represent as men would never disrespect women (especially women of color) and his views do not reflect those of the group.”

Ciara Checks Jason Whitlock For Blaming Tyre Nichols’s Death On “Single Black Mothers”

The murder of Tyre Nichols by several Memphis police officers has captured the attention of the U.S., and Ciara didn’t like what a particular sports journalist had to say. Earlier this month, 29-year-old Nichols was pulled over for a traffic stop. The incident escalated, and he was pulled from his vehicle, pepper sprayed, and tased by a group of officers.

He managed to run from the ordeal, but he was tracked down, held against his will, and beaten. Three days later, he succumbed to his injuries. The City of Memphis released four videos showing the development of the encounter. In one clip, Nichols is seen being held down on the ground as a cop kicks him in the head. Another takes out a baton and beats him. Later, Nichols is also held up by several officers as he’s repeatedly punched. While on the ground, the man cried out for his mother.

The outrage was swift, and commentator Jason Whitlock chimed in with his takeaways.

“There is a racial element. And this is a story about young Black men and their inability to treat each other in a humane way,” Whitlock said. “Everybody involved in this on the street level was either 24 to 32 years old. Everybody. It was a group of young Black men, five-on-one. Looked like gang violence to me.”

Then, he shifted the blame.

“It looked like what young Black men do when they’re supervised by a single Black woman.”

Ciara caught wind of the hot take and didn’t like what she saw.

The singer tweeted, “.@WhitlockJason As a black man to get on national tv and say something like this is irresponsible.”

“A lot of amazing kids have come from single mothers,” she further stated. For you to also undermine single black women in the midst of this tragedy is so sad. This woman just lost her son! Do better!”

Ciara gained wide support for her reaction, but Whitlock returned to only double down on his initial remarks.

“Appreciate the feedback, Ciara,” he said. “But at some point, we are going to have to deal with the negative impact of baby-mama culture. It’s destructive and unsustainable. Come up out of the denial. Denial won’t fix the problem. Thanks.”

Whitlock continues to defend that “baby mama culture” is to blame for violence within the Black community. Meanwhile, a sixth officer has been relieved of duty in connection with the Nichols case.

It was reported that Preston Hemphill was also involved in the beating of the 29-year-old. He has not been arrested at the time of this publication.
