Drake Missouri Concert Crash: Alleged Killer Bails Out

Drake is an artist who tries to keep the audiences at his show feeling as positive as possible. On recent tours, he’s been kind enough to give out luxurious designer bags, cash prizes, and even vehicles to random patrons, or people who come to his shows to celebrate after battling cancer. Despite his best efforts, there’s a lot that remaisn outside of the Canadian’s control, including reckless drivers outside the venue. Following his performance in Missouri earlier this month, a mother-daughter duo lost their lives after 22-year-old Monte Henderson sped through a red light.

According to WPDE, the young man was released from jail last Friday (February 23). At the time, he posted $20K, or 10% of his $200K bail, court records obtained by the outlet reveal. Henderson was arrested on two counts of first-degree involuntary manslaughter charges and two counts of armed criminal action. His victims were 42-year-old Laticha “Lety” Bracero and her daughter, 21-year-old Alyssa Cordova. The women were visiting from Chicago to see Drake in downtown St. Louis on Valentine’s Day when they lost their lives while crossing the street.

22-Year-Old Monte Henderson Posts $20K After Double Murder Following Drake Show

“Data retrieved from the Jeep Grand Cherokee indicated that the vehicle was traveling at speeds in excess of 70 mph prior to violating the red traffic signal,” court records notes. “Based on the foregoing and the serious nature of the charges, I believe that the defendant is not likely to appear voluntarily on a summons and is a danger to the community,” one officer wrote.

As the loved ones left behind by Bracero and Cordova continue to grieve their unexpected loss, Drake is likely feeling more grateful than ever for his mother, Sandra Graham’s presence in his life. Ending the most romantic month of the year on a mushy note, he shared a “forever core memory” of the blonde beauty with us on Instagram today. Kay Flock Proposes Release On $1.4 Million Bail

Kay Flock’s been behind bars for a few years now, but evidently, his team is doing everything in their power to get him out. According to new court documents, the 20-year-old rapper’s defense recently requested that he be released on a $1.4 million bail. They argue that the performer has “no significant criminal history,” also noting that he hasn’t given authorities any reason not to trust him aside from his current charges.

In February of last year, officials indicted Flock on charges of racketeering, murder, attempted murder, and more. He’s accused of being part of a gang that allegedly “terrorized neighborhoods in the Bronx and Manhattan by killing and shooting other people,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams says. If he’s convicted, Kay Flock could face a life sentence or the death penalty.

Kay Flock’s team is proposing that he be placed on house arrest if the judge decides to grant him bail. “Strict house arrest, GPS monitoring, posting significant properties and a third party custodian are less restrictive conditions,” the motion reads. “That will clearly protect public and erase all doubt for appearing in court.” Currently, his trial is scheduled to begin in September, 2024.

While it remains to be seen whether or not his motion will be granted, Kay Flock has shown signs that he’s on track since his arrest. In June of last year, for example, he shared an open letter on Instagram, urging followers to “stop the violence.” In the lengthy message, he opened up about losing two brothers to gun violence while behind bars. He also described his incarceration as a “life lesson.” What do you think of Kay Flock’s legal team proposing a $1.4 million bail package? What about the rapper’s request to be released and put on house arrest? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Keefe D’s Bail Set At $750k In Tupac Murder Case

Last year, fans were shocked to find that nearly 3 decades after the murder of Tupac Shakur, someone was finally arrested for it. That person was Keefe D who has long claimed to be involved. He’s been appearing in interviews for years now discussing details of the case online. In fact, many fans believe that his willingness and openness about the case is the primary reason he was ultimately arrested. Though his trial hasn’t begun yet he just scored a victory in the journey to stay at home until it does.

For the past few weeks in the pre-trial proceedings, Keefe D’s lawyers have been fighting to get him bail. The state prosecution in the case didn’t want him released on bail. They cited his previous gang affiliations and alleged threats he’s made to witnesses in the case as evidence for why he should stay behind bars. The judge didn’t agree and ended up granting Keefe D the opportunity to make bail setting it at $750k. While it’s a win for the accused it isn’t a full victory. His lawyers had originally asked that his bail be set at less than $100k. Though the amount is more than they were hoping he’s still likely to make bail and spend the next few months at home.

Keefe D Given $750k Bail

The delays in arriving at a bail hearing for Keefe D follow further delays that came earlier in the trial. That spawned from Keefe repeatedly having trouble with his legal representation. The trial had already been delayed at times when Keefe’s lawyers failed to show up in court at all.

The trial has unsurprisingly become one of the most discussed subject in rap circles recently. Debates have spawned on whether or not he will be found guilty with high-profile voices in the rap world appearing on both sides. What do you think of Keefe D’s bail being set at $750k? Do you think he will be able to beat the charges in the Tupac murder case? Let us know in the comment section below.

Keefe D’s Bail Hearing Delayed

Duane “Keefe D” Davis will have to wait another week to receive a ruling on his bail options after a judge in Nevada delayed his hearing on Tuesday. Judge Carli Kierny pushed the date back to January 9, arguing that Keefe D’s lawyers will need more time to respond to a recent filing by the prosecution.

His legal team has requested that bail be no higher than $100,000 and would prefer he be placed on house arrest while awaiting trial. They used his colon cancer as an example of health ailments that should factor into the decision. “Duane should not be denied bail in this case,” his lawyers argued. “It cannot be said that the proof is evident and the presumption great that Duane is guilty of first-degree murder for the death of Shakur. This Court should release Duane on house arrest with electronic monitoring pending trial.”

They continued: “He is not getting his bi-monthly oncologist check-ups. Additionally, his heart health has declined. He was put back on a group of medications to try to get things under control. He has to take these medications in jail because he is unable to do the things necessary to maintain proper health.”

Police arrested Keefe D for the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur back in September, believing that he orchestrated the attack. He’s since pleaded not guilty and his trial is scheduled to begin in June 2024. As of now, he’ll be staying at Clark County Detention Center. Keefe D Is Too Dangerous For Bail In Tupac Murder Trial According To Prosecutors

Earlier this fans were intrigued by the Las Vegas Police Department all of a sudden showing renewed interest in the murder of Tupac Shakur. They executed a police raid that had to do with the murder, which happened more than 25 years ago. Then fans were stunned to find that they actually made an arrest in the case. Duane Davis, AKA Keefe D, was arrested for the murder of the legendary rapper. D has long been willing to discuss the case in interviews online and has occasionally let loose some details about his own personal involvement.

Last month after some legal tribulations related to his lawyers, Keefe D officially pleaded not guilty in the case. With the trial not due to begin until June, David was hoping to be released on bail in the meantime and get to spend the next few months at home. His lawyers called for his release in court and asked that his bail be set no higher than $100k. But the state of Nevada is fighting back. They’re claiming that he’s too dangerous to be reasonably released back into the public. They cite his previous alleged gang affiliations, reported threats he’s made against potential witnesses in the case, and his repeated discussion of his involvement with the case online as reasons he shouldn’t be freed in the meantime.

Prosecutors Argue Against Keefe D’s Bail

One of the claims that Keefe D is making is that his comments about Tupac were “entertainment.” It’s crucial to his case as he’s made some pretty incriminating claims publicly in the past. In court, he’s making the argument that many of the claims he made were exaggerated. He says they were made for the purpose of telling a more compelling story. Many online believe that Davis constantly discussing the murder in various interviews online was the primary cause of his arrest.

What do you think of the Nevada prosecutors argument that Keefe D is too dangerous to be released on bail ahead of his trial in June? Let us know in the comment section below.

Russell Simmons Accuses Kimora Lee Of Stealing From Him To Bail Out New Husband

During a recent interview with Graham Bensinger, Russell Simmons spoke on his lawsuit against his ex, Kimora Lee. According to him, the Baby Phat founder allegedly transferred his Celsius energy drink stock to herself to pay her current husband’s bail. Her husband, Tim Leissner, was charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in 2018.

“I must’ve been a sh*t partner, from what I hear,” Simmons began. “No. I was very generous and tried to be supportive. We were together 15 years, Kimora and I. And for eight years, we were married. And together for seven, before that,” he continued, “And then, I was best friends with Kimora throughout the entire raising of my children.” Things were great between them for a while, however, the situation eventually took a turn for the worse. According to Simmons, anybody else would have also sued had they experienced what he allegedly did.

Russell Simmons Speaks On Lawsuit Against Kimora Lee

“So, I tried to be flexible, and accommodating, and supportive,” Simmons then described. “And sometimes, things don’t work out. You’ve seen the lawsuit. I had no choice. I think Jesus Christ, Lord Buddha, anybody would have sued. […] She gave what is now, today, based on the value of the stock, $800 million to the government illegally, and now I’m fighting to get my half of it back.” Kimora’s legal team previously denied his allegations, clapping back with accusations of “harassment.”

“Kimora and her children are shocked by the extortive harassment coming from her ex-husband, Russell Simmons, who has decided to sue her for shares and dividends of Celsius stock in which Kimora and Tim Leissner invested millions of dollars,” their 2021 statement read. “This is an ill-advised attempt by Russell to use the legal system to access funds he is in no way entitled to, and which his own legal team confirms Russell did not pay for.” What do you think of Russell Simmons’ recent comments about his lawsuit against his ex, Kimora Lee? Antonio Brown Arrested For Allegedly Not Paying $31K In Child Support, Then Released On $15K Bail

Antonio Brown is a force of nature so to speak. He seems to destroy everything in his path and nothing can really slow him down. That is until he was checked into jail around midnight on Sunday according to Florida’s news station, Local 10 News. This comes after reports from TMZ Sports that the mother of his daughter, Wiltrice Jackson, was asking authorities to arrest him. The reason is that the former NFL wide receiver has not been keeping up with child support payments.

In fact, it is $31,000 worth, according to both aforementioned sources. Antanyiah, who is now 15 years old, is garnering plenty of interest from big-name universities. She is a track star at her high school, and schools like Miami and Oregon are already scouting. Wiltrice, while she was calling for him to receive time behind bars, wants him to be a part of her life for this reason alone.

While Antonio Brown was brought in with handcuffs, he has been released on a $15,000 bail. Besides showing up to court twice, Brown continues to avoid a lengthier sentence and Wiltrice is fed up with it. “I do want him arrested. Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.” Hopefully, she will receive justice for all of this wrongdoing.

What are your initial thoughts on Antonio Brown being arrested for not paying his child support? Tory Lanez’ Dad Addresses Prison Release Rumors

Recently, Tory Lanez has been trending on Twitter/X, as fans have falsely speculated that he was released from prison. Earlier this week, the performer resubmitted his bail request, after it was denied back in September. According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, the motion was “nearly identical” to the first one he submitted. Unfortunately for hopeful fans, he was not released. According to legal paperwork provided by Cuniff, his motion is still pending.

Amid the speculation, Lanez’ father took to social media to thank fans for their support. During a recent Instagram Live, he explained how his son’s voice “will not be silenced,” urging followers to pray for a good outcome. Cuniff claims that the rumors have led to her being “bombarded” with questions surrounding his release, which she finds laughable.

Tory Lanez Father Confirms He’s Still Behind Bars

“I gotta say this was an absolutely hilarious 45 minutes of being bombarded with questions about Lanez getting bail, posting that it’s BS, then listening to a Twitter Spaces in which the people saying he got bail realized in real time it was BS. Epic,” she wrote. “‘It shouldn’t be that easy to make a fake email. … These things should be verifiable.’ Yes, if only there was this thing called the public court docket that we could check to see if something has actually happened in a case,” Cuniff added.

Yesterday, Cuniff additionally reported that Lanez’ legal team was hoping it would only take “a day or two” for a hearing to be scheduled in the appellate court. She says that despite their beliefs, the process will take far longer than that. Cuniff also noted that “the appellate court does not hold hearings.” What do you think of false rumors that Tory Lanez was released? What do you think of his father’s response? Tory Lanez Bail Application Resubmitted With “Nearly Identical” Arguments To Those Previously Rejected

Try as he might to make life in prison look easy, it’s clear that Tory Lanez has one thing on his mind – freedom. Since he was first arrested in late 2022, the Canadian has been fighting to reduce (or entirely avoid) his prison sentence with little luck. Back in September, he was denied bail by a judge, though that’s not stopping him from making yet another attempt. Crime journalist Meghann Cuniff shared the news via Twitter on Tuesday (October 10). She noted that Lanez’s most recent filing isn’t all that different from one that was previously rejected.

“The arguments are nearly identical to the motion Judge Herriford rejected a the Sept. 14 hearing in LA (the one where Lanez called me a googly-eyed b**ch), including the forgoing of any mention of the rehab pushed at sentencing,” the reporter wrote this morning. Rather than seeking traditional treatment for substance abuse, the father of one “wants to rent a home in Los Angeles from a friend who rents ‘ex*tic’ homes and cars.” The letter included in the motion isn’t specifically about the bail request – rather, it’s a character reference from Tory’s sentencing that took place in August.

Tory Lanez Remains Persistent in His Fight for Bail

According to Cuniff, the “Say It” hitmaker’s legal team may be confused. Despite their belief that it would only take “a day or two” to have a hearing scheduled in the appellate court, she thinks the process will be much longer. “I don’t know what that’s based on, but it’s totally false. The appellate court does not hold hearings. There won’t be a hearing on this.”

“Technically, Lanez’s filing should be called a writ petition,” Cuniff went on in another tweet. “It’ll be decided based on the filing like all writ petitions are. (Such as Lanez’s failed appellate writ petition seeking to disqualify Judge Herriford. The appellate court does not hold bail hearings.”

Meghann Cuniff Provides More Updates on the Case

“Appellate court does hear oral argument, and Tory will eventually have oral argument over his yet-to-be-filed appellate brief,” Cuniff further clarified. “But the court does not hold hearings on writ petitions, which is what Lanez’s appeal of his bail motion is. The court will reject it with a line entry.” Do you think that Tory Lanez will ever achieve his objective of securing bail?
