Tyrese Claims He Can’t Afford $10K Child Support Payments Due To Actors’ Strike

It’s no secret that last year’s Hollywood strikes continue to take a toll on those in the film industry. According to new legal documents, Tyrese is no exception. The docs, obtained by Radar Online, show that the performer recently gave a judge an explanation for why he was short on his latest child support payment. He revealed that due to the actor’s strike, his income has drastically decreased, making it difficult to keep up.

“The years in which he films [a Fast & Furious] franchise movie, his income is the highest in those years. In 2022, [Gibson] filmed the franchise movie in question, and he has not filmed any segment in that franchise movie since 2022. Consequently, [Gibson’s] income has fluctuated downward since the trial in this case, and as expected, [Gibson] does not earn the same amount that he earned in August 2022,” his statement reads.

Tyrese Has Been “Gravely Impacted” By 2023 Strikes

Tyrese Claims He Can't Afford $10K Child Support Payments Due To Actors' Strike
American actor and singer Tyrese Gibson on the red carpet at the world premiere of the film Fast X at the Colosseum. Rome (Italy), May 12nd, 2023

“Neither [Gibson] nor anyone else in Hollywood could have predicted the major strikes in 2023,” it continues. “That affected everyone’s income who earns a living from the movie industry. [Gibson] was gravely impacted just as everyone who works in Hollywood. Because of the six-month work stoppage in the film industry in 2023, and because [Gibson] has not shot a major film since 2022, [Gibson’s] income has decreased to less than twenty percent (20%) of what [Gibson] was earning in August 2022, which [Gibson] would like to prove at a hearing on this matter.”

Clearly, $10K per month would be pretty tough for anyone to pull off, including Tyrese. What do you think of Tyrese telling a judge he can’t pay child support due to the actor’s strike? Are you surprised? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Kay Flock Proposes Release On $1.4 Million Bail

Kay Flock’s been behind bars for a few years now, but evidently, his team is doing everything in their power to get him out. According to new court documents, the 20-year-old rapper’s defense recently requested that he be released on a $1.4 million bail. They argue that the performer has “no significant criminal history,” also noting that he hasn’t given authorities any reason not to trust him aside from his current charges.

In February of last year, officials indicted Flock on charges of racketeering, murder, attempted murder, and more. He’s accused of being part of a gang that allegedly “terrorized neighborhoods in the Bronx and Manhattan by killing and shooting other people,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams says. If he’s convicted, Kay Flock could face a life sentence or the death penalty.

Kay Flock’s team is proposing that he be placed on house arrest if the judge decides to grant him bail. “Strict house arrest, GPS monitoring, posting significant properties and a third party custodian are less restrictive conditions,” the motion reads. “That will clearly protect public and erase all doubt for appearing in court.” Currently, his trial is scheduled to begin in September, 2024.

While it remains to be seen whether or not his motion will be granted, Kay Flock has shown signs that he’s on track since his arrest. In June of last year, for example, he shared an open letter on Instagram, urging followers to “stop the violence.” In the lengthy message, he opened up about losing two brothers to gun violence while behind bars. He also described his incarceration as a “life lesson.” What do you think of Kay Flock’s legal team proposing a $1.4 million bail package? Soulja Boy’s Baby Mama Tracked Down Blueface To Deliver Lawsuit Ahead Of His Arrest

Blueface and Soulja Boy have been at odds for some time now. Unfortunately, the former’s jail stint hasn’t prevented their feud from heating up either. Since the “Thotiana” rapper was arrested for violating his parole last month, Soulja Boy has gone after him online, even threatening to get him sexually assaulted while he’s behind bars. He also went after the mother of his third child, Chrisean Rock, and accused their son Chrisean Jr. of having Down syndrome.

A lot of their beef surrounds some NSFW claims that Blueface has made about the mother of Soulja Boy’s child, Jackilyn Martinez. “I f**ked your baby mama the day before your baby shower,” he told Soulja in December. “Till Soulja get a DNA test that’s my child lil bro I’m the daddy now… What’s old about your baby mama sucking my d**k?” he also added.

For obvious reasons, Martinez wasn’t thrilled by Blueface’s claims and promptly hit him with a defamation lawsuit. Reportedly, she went out of her way to serve Blueface ahead of his arrest, even hiring a process server who tracked him down at one of his shows with Jaidyn Alexis. Reportedly, the legal docs were delivered at Fountain LA on January 7, just after midnight. Blueface is legally obligated to respond, though it might be tough considering his current incarceration.

Apparently, his current stay is expected to last until at least July of this year. Likely, he won’t be free at that point either, however, as he’s also wanted in Vegas for an alleged probation violation. What do you think of the mother of Soulja Boy’s child suing Blueface for defamation? What about her hiring a process server to track him down at his show with Jaidyn Alexis? Did Jeezy Cheat? Jeannie Mai Legal Docs Suggest Infidelity Clause In Prenup May Lead To Major Payout

When 2023 began, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai were one of the celebrity couples whom the internet loved to idolize, especially when they welcomed their first child together, Monaco. From afar, everything seemed peachy in their world, but recent months have revealed that things in the Jenkins household were less than ideal for some time, causing the rapper to file for divorce from his wife. Fans of the pair have been speculating about what might’ve led to their demise. While infidelity came up in conversation, Jeezy seemed to quash any rumours of him being unfaithful on his new album, as well as during an interview with Nia Long.

Interestingly, new legal documents obtained by TMZ suggest that Mai did fall victim to her husband’s cheating and that their prenuptial agreement could land her a huge payday. “Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly,” the mother of one’s attorney wrote.

Jeezy Had a Lot to Say About Cheating in His Interview with Nia Long

“Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party,” the docs further state.

At this time, it’s unclear who Jeezy was allegedly unfaithful with, though Mai was previously under fire for getting too friendly with Mario Lopez of Access Hollywood fame. Those accusations are now behind us, but still, it’s clear the tension brewing between the co-parents isn’t calm yet. Divorce is difficult enough as is for the Average Joe, so working through all of this drama in the public eye has added an extra layer of stress for both Jeannie Mai and Jeezy. For the TV personality’s part, she shared back in October that she’s “taking it day by day,” which is probably the best approach to preserve her mental sanity. Darius Jackson’s Mom Had A Domestic Violence Restraining Order Against His Dad

Amid chatter surrounding Keke Palmer’s request for a restraining order against the father of her child, Darius Jackson, new information has surfaced about the fitness trainer’s parents. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the two of them have had their own legal troubles. Jackson’s mother Yhinyer filed for her own restraining order against his father Romel back in 2020. Her filing came only four months after she filed for a divorce. She cited alleged domestic violence in her request.

The restraining order was granted, and as a result, Romel was ordered to hand over all firearms in his possession to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. A few months later, Yhinyer asked that the restraining order be lifted. The two agreed to stay at least 50 yards away from each other at all times, and Yhinyer was granted possession of their house. The two remain at odds in court, battling over their once shared property.

Similarly, Keke cited alleged domestic violence in her request for a restraining order. She recalled various alleged instances, including being nearly hit with a car, being attacked in her own home, and more. The performer additionally filed for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son, Leodis. Information pertaining to Keke and Jackson’s mothers has surfaced since the news broke, revealing that they’ve been going back and forth for some time.

Earlier this week, TMZ unveiled footage allegedly showing Keke’s mother Sharon threatening Jackson with a bullet. A screenshot of text messages between Sharon and Yhinyer was later released, which appears to show Yhinyer threatening to take legal action against Sharon. What do you think of Darius Jackson’s parents having similar issues to his and Keke’s in their own relationship? Maya Jama Returning Ex Ben Simmons’ $1M Engagement Ring After Athlete Sends Legal Demand

Just like the rest of us, celebrities often experience the pain of heartbreak within their romantic relationships. Unfortunately for them, the drama is played out for the entire world to see – and comment on. Most recently, formerly engaged couple Maya Jama and Ben Simmons have been the talk of the town. This is thanks to the astounding $1M engagement ring he surprised her with in December of 2021.

At the time, the pair seemed happier than ever together. The NBA player popped the question to his partner after a seven-month whirlwind love story. By September 2022, however, they called it quits.

“It’s been a difficult time for them. While they both care for each other so much, they truly gave it their all and realize that they just come from two different worlds. They now understand they don’t have the time they thought to dedicate to this relationship,” a source dished to the New York Post last fall.

Additionally, we hear that things between Simmons and Jama came to an end on good terms. Interestingly, the latest reports infer that might not still be the case. A story from The Sun claims that the athlete sent the Love Island host a legal letter demanding that she return the costly ring he proposed with.

“Given Ben has never, until now, asked for the ring back, you can appreciate the letter came somewhat as a surprise to Maya,” an insider tells the outlet. As for the other side of the story, “Ben was in shock when she left and didn’t give him the ring back.”

“He was madly in love with her. [He] thought it was forever so was really pissed she didn’t give it back. It cost around $1 million and they were engaged less than a year.”

A rep for Jama spoke with Daily Mail about the ongoing debacle. “Maya received a request from Ben’s representatives on Friday afternoon. It asked her to return the engagement ring that he gave her as a gift last year,” they explained.

“This was the first time that she has been asked by Ben to return it. For the avoidance of any doubt, she has never refused to return it.” The source also notes that the European entertainer is “making arrangements to return the ring to Ben and wishes him all the best.”

Aside from her high-profile stint with Simmons, Jama has also been in a relationship with British rapper Stormzy. In November of last year, he opened up about their past breakup, admitting that he “was a boy” when all the drama unfolded.
