Brian McKnight’s Ex Julie Responds To Him Suggesting Their Children Are “Evil”

Brian McKnight had some harsh words to say about his biological children recently, but it doesn’t look like his ex-wife Julie is letting them get her down. Earlier this week, the performer took to social media to respond to criticism for praising his young step-daughter Julia while disowning most of his other children. According to him, Julia is his “one and only daughter,” despite his other one Briana.

Later on, he implied that his biological children needed to be removed from his life for him to find happiness. “In order to live a life that you love, you have to get rid of the evil and the negativity, even if that evil and negativity is related,” he said. “We want everyone to live a life that they love. But in order to do that you have to get rid of that evil and negativity.”

While one might expect his biological children’s mother to be upset, Julie made it clear it hasn’t fazed her. In a clip shared on Instagram, she seemingly addresses the negativity coming from her ex. She’s also sure to note that she’s personally “so proud” of who she raised. “The point of every negative situation, whether it’s an illness whether it’s a fool that you have to deal with because they keep entering your life when you are no longer giving any more energy to it, is to only keep you down to where they thought they had you because they were the author of an extremely abusive situation emotionally, mentally,” she explained. “And they’re no good at not being the center of attention anymore. So when everybody pulls that away, it’s like a kid without candy who throws a tantrum…”

Photos from the outing are now on the reality starlet’s IG page, though they focus on her bodacious behind instead of her rumoured rekindling with Jordan. It’s unclear if the exes are officially back together at this time, but if they are, we’ll wait a few weeks to see if it lasts this time before getting too excited.

At this point, a reconciliation between Larsa Pippen and her younger man doesn’t come as much of a surprise – the pair seems to have developed a taste for spinning the block. Wendy Williams’ Ex Kevin Hunter Was “Overpaid” $112K In Divorce, Her Guardian Alleges

There’s been no shortage of drama in the world of Wendy Williams as of late. Unfortunately, however, things only appear to be getting more complicated. In new legal documents obtained by Page Six earlier this week, the beloved former talk show host’s guardian Sabrina Morrissey requests that her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, return the money that he was allegedly overpaid. In her filing, Morrissey notes that Hunter received payments from The Wendy Williams Show up until October of 2021. Three months later, however, he was admittedly still being paid monthly.

“I believe this was largely the result of the fact that the payments had been put on an ‘autopay’ function within her account,” Morrissey explains in the court docs. She also claims that this violates the two exes’ settlement agreement. The agreement reportedly states that if Wendy’s income drops below twice what it was as of February 1, 2020, Hunter’s payments would stop. “By holding on to the funds he was overpaid, he has interfered with [Williams’] right of possessions to those funds,” the docs read. Reportedly, Hunter now owes Wendy upwards of $112K.

Morrissey’s filing comes after weeks of uproar over Lifetime’s new Where Is Wendy Williams?docuseries. The series’ producers have faced accusations of exploiting her by putting some of her most vulnerable moments on display. These theories were only compounded following the public reveal of Wendy’s dementia and aphasia diagnoses. Producers maintain that they had no knowledge of this while filming the doc.

Essence recently named the R&B icon the “Sexiest Men of the Moment,” and as part of their spread, asked the hitmaker a few questions about his love life. During the interview, he admitted that his now-ex was actually his first-ever celebrity crush.

“Imma be real honest with y’all today,” he begins in a clip. “Chilli was my first celebrity crush. I think I was 11 or 12, something like that.” Fortunately for Usher, he got to meet Chilli in 1993, and went on to date her for three years before they split. Their breakup was long believed to have inspired his fourth studio album Confessions, which has since been debunked. Chilli revealed in 2013 that they parted ways simply because “it was that time or whatever,” shutting down rumors of any potential infidelity on his end.
