Tha Dogg Pound Reunion: Snoop Dogg, Swizz Beatz, Flavor Flav & More Tease Duo’s Comeback

Members of Tha Dogg Pound may have gone their separate ways in the late 90s, but it appears as though a reunion could finally be in the works. This week, several mysterious videos popped up on Snoop Dogg’s Instagram page, seemingly hinting that there’s something on the way. The videos feature Swizz Beatz, Flavor Flav, and even NLE Choppa. In them, they inquire about whatever happened to the pair, made up of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger.

“Dog, I gotta question: what happened to Tha Dogg Pound? I heard they broke up, is that true? That’s what I heard,” Swizz says in his video. Flavor Flav and Choppa’s questions were almost identical, and have led to plenty of speculation among fans. “Sounds like a new single is coming out produced by Swizz,” one user suspects. Another simply writes, “Something’s brewing.”

At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly what the artists have planned, but it’s safe to say that fans can’t wait. Daz himself also teased a possible Tha Dogg Pound comeback earlier this month, though he’s said little about it since, keeping fans on their toes. “AINT NUTHIN LIKE FAMILY CUZZN SO ALL U HATERS DPGC IS BAC,” he captioned a photo of him and Snoop Dogg, leaving their followers to speculate.

While some are convinced that a reunion is imminent, others are worried this could just be another trick, a la the smokeless grill debacle. In fact, one of her latest social media posts has led some fans to believe that they’re closer than ever these days, and may have even rekindled their romance. Earlier this week, Jackson took to her Instagram to wish Q a happy 54th birthday. Many note, however, that the tone of her message seemed a bit flirtatious. Moreover, she revealed that they were together the evening prior, suggesting that they could be back on.

“30 + yrs of friendship… So special to me. Thank you for coming over last nite. Happy bday [blowing kiss emojis],” she captioned a black and white photo of Q-Tip. While it’s surely possible that Jackson and Q-Tip’s relationship is purely platonic, social media users were quick to speculate.

During a recent Instagram Live, the performer chatted with fans about their relationship, comparing it to his last. It’s no secret that his divorce from Bambi got pretty messy, but viewers were still pretty surprised by what he said next.

“I would definitely get married to Erica,” he revealed. “I need something solid when I get married… like something real solid.” Scrappy continued, describing how he wants to be sure he knows the next person he marries as well as possible. “I want to know the person,” he explained, “be friends with them or something.”

Juvenile Says Lil Wayne & B.G. Need To “Simmer Down” Before Hot Boys Reunion

Fans have been hoping for a Hot Boys reunion for some time now, and it looks like it won’t be too long before it finally arrives. During a recent interview with TMZ, Juvenile provided an update on the eagerly-anticipated performance. While he didn’t unveil too many specifics, he did confirm that it’s definitely happening, so long as everything goes according to plan.

“No negativity from me, man,” he said of the reunion. “You know, with me, I’m always like, ‘It’s gon’ happen.’ It’s gonna happen. We gotta let them simmer down a little bit. But trust me though, it’s happening.” The performer seemed to be referencing B.G.’s Lil Wayne diss on his track with Finesse2tymes, “Gangstafied.” In the song, he refers to Weezy as a “b*tch,” though he later insisted that all is well between them.

“[You] don’t really understand what the f**k be going on, man,” B.G. told fans on Instagram Live in January. “You know what I’m saying? It’s been almost 26 years since Flipmode Squad unveiled their first and only studio album, The Imperial. Since then, the frontman of the hip-hop collective, Busta Rhymes, has found plenty of success in his solo career. That hasn’t stopped fans from hoping for more, however. Fortunately, it looks like listeners are in luck.

Earlier this week, Busta Rhymes took to Instagram to announce that a new Flipmode Squad album is on the way. He shared the news from a studio, also taking an opportunity to preview a previously unheard track. Of course, fans are out in full force in his comments section demanding more details. An official release date for the project has not yet been confirmed.

Big Boi shared a video and picture of himself meeting up with his Outkast partner, Andre 3000, on Instagram, Saturday night. In doing so, he joked about the rapper’s flute skills following the release of his first solo album, New Blue Sun. The project sees Andre venture away from hip-hop and into ambient music.

“Antwan & Andre Flutie Hoooooo,” Big Boi captioned the post with a UFO emoji. Fans were thrilled to see them together again. “Why does it feel so good seeing them together,” one asked. Another fan wrote: “It’s crazy that in 1995 they told the whole world on stage that the ‘south got something to say’ and they where dismissed.. now they are literal Hip Hop Icons and the south has killed the game as far as quality music and bangers.. manifestation is real.”

The meet-up sparks the obvious question as to whether Big Boi and Andre 3000 will ever work on new music together again as Outkast. Andre addressed that question during an interview with CBS Mornings back in December. “No, to be honest,” he said at the time when asked whether Big Boi has pressed him to team up again. “No but I think because he knows who I am and knows what gets me going, knows what inspires me, knows when I’m excited about something. So I think in that sense, he’s never pushed that issue. But I’m sure like, I want another Outkast album. Yeah, like in my mind – but see, that’s the thing. That’s the human side. I want an OutKast album a long time ago. And honestly for me as an individual, it would be gratifying to me to put out a solo rap situation. But not for nobody else at this point. It’s for me because I actually like the challenge of, ‘How could I make this part of my life interesting and rhyme in words?’ You know what I mean? Like how can I do that? So yeah, it’s still a challenge. So I think hopefully with will and intent, something will happen.”

“Baddies East” Reunion Trailer Shows Natalie Nunn, Sapphire & More Blasting Scarface

The Baddies East reunion is airing its third part this Sunday (February 25) on the Zeus Network at 8PM EST, and it looks like things couldn’t be more targeted. Moreover, in a new trailer previewing the spicy drama to come, it seems like everyone has a bone to pick with Scarface. For example, she fought with Sapphire, Mariahlynn, and Ahna Mac, and Natalie Nunn blasted her for being broke and angry. We can’t imagine that filming all of this was an easy or gratifying time for Scarface. But at least it gets people hooked to some degree, and they can spread that extra revenue around.

Also, it’s important to note that this Baddies East reunion is not an excuse for everyone to dog on Scarface. There were plenty of other brawls and disagreements to witness in the first two parts. For example, Rollie and Camilla ended up throwing hands and airing each other out during this meet-up, which has its own history and baggage behind it unrelated to Scarface’s. Even though a lot of people might see this reunion as a chance to explain old wounds and heal from them, it seems like the more cathartic answer is to settle them as scars once and for all.

Meanwhile, this Baddies East reunion also saw Tesehki get into a massive brawl that also roped Sukihana into things, as well as Scarface and some other familiar names. Things definitely feel a little more crowd-oriented than usual in these episodes. Before, issues between cast members usually centered themselves around just two people, sometimes going into two-against-one-offs or similarly isolated incidents. Regardless, this just feels like all-out chaos on occasion, and that’s when newcomers realize the real appeal of these big reunions.

In other related news, there’s currently a lot of drama going on with cast member Tee Kissen, Los Angeles Lakers played Christian Wood, and a friend they have in common. There was a domestic dispute over Wood’s child with Tee’s friend, with accusations of wrongdoing flying back and forth. Rollie & Camilla Throw Hands At “Baddies East” Reunion

Tension among the cast of Baddies East only continues to rise, and unfortunately, some of the ladies’ beef boiled over during their recent reunion. Last week, viewers caught the start of an ugly brawl during the event, which was hosted by NeNe Leakes and Janeisha John. Tesehki and Scarface threw a few notable punches, setting the tone for what was to come.

Yesterday, fans finally saw the second part of the reunion, which was expectedly packed with just as much drama. In one clip, Rollie and Camilla are seen going at it, while the remainder of the cast looks equally heated. The two of them talked smack momentarily before Camilla lunged at Rollie, who then proceeded to lunge right back. As one can imagine, there were various security guards standing nearby at the ready, though it’s unclear whether or not they were able to pull them apart before any serious damage was done.

This isn’t the only fight Rollie’s gotten into as of late, however. Recently, she also got into it with Biggie, which resulted in yet another feud. Jelaminah “Jela” Lanier hopped on Instagram Live with Natalie Nunn last week where she chatted about the show, and weighed in on who she believes won the fight. Nunn repeatedly asked her to crown one of the women the winner, though Jela initially refused. Eventually, she admitted that she thought Rollie won, which Biggie was not happy about.

“But yeah, every time you see me you’re smiling in my face don’t get caught up smiling again I don’t care if I could fight or not you’ll get smacked to,” Biggie responded on Twitter/X. What actually led to the split has yet to be confirmed, but fans had been under the impression that the duo wasn’t on the best of terms up until she announced that they slept together on New Year’s Eve.

At that point, supporters were left more confused than ever. The “Bongos” performer promptly addressed speculation that they were back together, however, insisting that she was still single. Flash forward to last week, when reunion rumors reignited after they were spotted at Carbone on Valentine’s Day. While the ex-pair seemingly staggered their entrances to the Miami restaurant, they left in the same car, making it clear that they had spent the romantic holiday together.

Offset Gambles In Florida

Only days after the apparent date night, Offset appears to have spent his weekend alone, gambling in Florida. TMZ got footage of the performer playing cards at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL last night (February 17), reportedly dropping at least a few grand. It’s possible that Offset was trying to win back some of what he lost on his Super Bowl bet. He reportedly put $1 million on the San Francisco 49ers, which obviously didn’t work out in his favor.

Either way, things are looking up for Offset overall, as his eagerly-anticipated Set It Off tour is quickly approaching. The Georgia-born artist will kick things off in Philly at the beginning of March. He’ll also be joined by Skilla Baby, SleazyWorld Go, and YRN Mango Foo. Blueface & Jaidyn Alexis Back Together Despite Alleged Third Baby Mama, Karlissa Saffold Claims

It’s no surprise that a lot is going on in the world of Blueface these days, despite the rapper being behind bars. Earlier this week, his former Blue Girls Club contestant and self-proclaimed side chick, Bonnie Lashay, took to social media to announce that she’s allegedly pregnant with his child. Obviously, this adds an interesting layer to his already complex love life.

Bonnie’s claims came only weeks after the mother of his third child, Chrisean Rock, debuted a large tattoo of Blueface’s mugshot on her cheek. It also followed Blueface’s October 2023 proposal to MILF Music mainstay Jaidyn Alexis, the mother of his first two children. Once Chrisean started showing interest in the “Thotiana” rapper again, it was speculated that he and Jaidyn were no longer an item, as she stayed fairly quiet about their relationship.

Now, however, Blueface’s mother has hopped on her Instagram Story to claim that he and Jaidyn are back together. Based on her post, she doesn’t appear thrilled about it either. “Well it’s looking like he back with Jaidyn,” she wrote. “And the circus continues [praying emoji].” It’s unclear whether Blueface or Jaidyn told her this directly, or if she heard it through the grapevine. Either way, it lines up with some of Jaidyn’s recent posts.

Earlier today, for example, the “Barbie” MC took to her own IG Story to respond to Bonnie Lashay’s pregnancy claims. “Shanika, shut the f*ck up, for the love of god,” she said, addressing her by her government name. “Oh please, b*tch. H*e, please.” Chrisean has yet to address any of this directly, though she did share a Tweet this morning about some new “big projects” she has on the way, seemingly indicating that she’s focusing on herself.
