The Bad Boy founder was arrested back in September on charges related to alleged sex trafficking and racketeering and is expected to go on trial in May of 2025. On top of this, he’s been hit with countless lawsuits from men and women accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and more.

Of course, this has resulted in public outrage, and has many of his celebrity peers keeping their distance. Will Smith, for example, recently decided to set the record straight about his own relationship with the mogul. During his set at The Observatory in San Diego yesterday, he clarified that they’ve never been close despite internet rumors. He also encouraged fans to stop creating memes tying the two of them together. “I don’t have s*** to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes,” he stated. Smith didn’t stop there, however.

“I Don’t Have Sh*t To Do With Puffy,” Will Smith Clarifies

He went on to make it crystal clear that he’s never attended one of Diddy’s alleged drug-fueled sex parties dubbed “freak offs,” and that he doesn’t even like baby oil. Smith added that he has enough drama of his own to worry about and certainly doesn’t need to carry the burden of someone else’s. “I usually don’t respond to d*mba** stuff,” he concluded. “But that one, your memes was doing too much.” Supporters can’t blame Smith for wanting to clear his name amid Diddy’s legal battle, particularly considering the extreme nature of the allegations he’s facing.

Just this week, three more alleged victims filed lawsuits against Diddy, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting them. His legal team has since denied the allegations on his behalf. “These complaints are full of lies,” they told TMZ Hip Hop yesterday. “We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”

Lil Wayne Becomes Inaugural Honoree Of LIV On Sunday Hall Of Fame

It’s safe to say that some Lil Wayne fans don’t feel like he’s gotten the respect he deserves as of late. Back in September, it was announced that Kendrick Lamar would headline the upcoming Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans. Unsurprisingly, this sparked outrage among the Louisiana rapper’s fanbase, who felt as though this was an obvious snub. He even addressed the debacle on Instagram, admitting that he was hurt by the whole thing.

That might still be a sore subject for Weezy. He was recently honored in a different way, however, becoming the inaugural honoree of LIV On Sunday’s Hall of Fame. He was inducted earlier this week (December 8), closing out Miami Art Week. Wayne was surrounded by countless fans and peers like Busta Rhymes, Jamie Foxx, Mack Maine, and Gudda Gudda. Keith Lee Reflects On Tense Encounter With Troll Who Called Him DDG

Recently, Keith Lee sat down with Shannon Sharpe for an episode of his Club Shay Shay podcast. As expected, the TikTok food critic made several interesting revelations, including one about an uncomfortable run-in with a troll in real life. Back in July, he was walking with his team when internet prankster Gerald Huston ran up to him and began calling him DDG, suggesting that the two of them look alike.

At the time, he told Huston to stop and was restrained by a nearby member of his entourage. When asked about the incident, Lee explained why he got so upset. According to him, it wasn’t the comparison to DDG that rubbed him the wrong way, but rather the fact that Huston touched him. “It turned into like a fiasco of us actually getting into it,” he recalled. “I wanted to make it clear because yeah, I’ve never spoke on it. Man Baselessly Alleges Drake Paid Top5 To Shoot Up The Weeknd’s Home During Insane DJ Akademiks Stream

Recently, some special guests joined DJ Akademiks on stream, resulting in several wild moments. In one clip, for example, @julianxceo accuses Top5 of allegedly taking payment from Drake to shoot up The Weeknd’s house. Moreover, he alleges that Drake paid him $3 million to do so. In response, Top5 insisted that Julian was not credible, and questioned exactly what alleged shooting he was referring to.

At the time of writing, this remains unclear, though Julian later alleged that the shooting involved The Weeknd’s “manager.” In April of this year, a shooting did occur outside of The Weeknd’s co-manager Amir “Cash XO” Esmailian’s Los Angeles home. According to Fox11, it took place during an apparent home invasion and left one security guard in critical condition. The security guard reportedly described the suspects as three men in hoodies and surgical masks. It’s unconfirmed whether or not this was the shooting Julian accuses Top5 and Drake of being involved in.

Just a few days after the shooting at Cash XO’s house, a shooting took place outside of Drake’s Toronto mansion. It similarly resulted in a security guard getting seriously injured and led to unconfirmed conspiracy theories that The Weeknd’s camp was allegedly involved. Both of these shootings occurred at the peak of Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar, meaning there were also unconfirmed theories that Kendrick was allegedly involved circulating online.

This was far from the only shocking moment from Ak’s recent stream, however. DJ Akademiks Weighs In On Theories That Drake Couldn’t Pull Off A Stadium Tour

It goes without saying that Kendrick Lamar has had a big year, and it looks like 2025 will be no different. Last week, the Compton rapper announced his co-headlining “Grand National” tour with SZA. They’ll kick things off with a performance in Minneapolis next April and go on to perform at 18 other stadiums around North America. They’re even stopping in Drake’s hometown of Toronto for not one, but two shows.

Unsurprisingly, the announcement has prompted some comparisons to Drake and has even led some to claim that he couldn’t pull off a stadium tour if he wanted to. During a recent livestream, DJ Akademiks shared his take on this theory, arguing that it couldn’t be further from the truth. According to him, Drizzy simply makes more money by performing at arenas over stadiums. For this reason, he says Drake prefers to stick to arenas, but that this doesn’t mean he’s unable to take on a stadium tour.

DJ Akademiks Claims Drake Earns More Performing At Arenas

“Kendrick’s doing two dates in Toronto, do I think this makes Drake look bad? No,” he began. “I don’t think it makes Drake look bad at all […] Somebody that’s heavy in touring hit me up and told me this. They said it’s more work that Drake does four or five nights at the garden instead of one or two nights at Yankee Stadium, but he gets paid more. Drake is one of them guys, so he care about the money he don’t care about the look, I would think.”

Akademiks isn’t the only person who’s come to Drake’s defense amid this debate, however. During an episode of Joe Budden’s podcast last week, he also stuck up for the performer when his co-host claimed that he couldn’t do a stadium tour. “I’m not gonna say that Drake is not a stadium act, let’s deal with facts, he hasn’t done one yet,” Budden said at the time. 50 Cent and Young Buck have been at odds for years now. Back in 2014, they each signed a G-Unit contract, which Fif accuses the Nashville rapper of failing to uphold. This has resulted in a lengthy legal battle, and it appears as though the mogul is still not over it, based on one of his latest social media posts.

Yesterday, he took to Instagram to share a clip from Young Buck’s appearance on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast. In the clip, Young Buck explains that 50 Cent helped pay his taxes when he was going through bankruptcy, even though he eventually had to pay all of it back. His comments didn’t sit right with 50, who felt as though he came off as ungrateful.

50 Cent Calls Out Young Buck On Instagram

“Some how he still managed to be ungrateful, I helped him with his taxes,” he captioned the post. “We didn’t have a problem till he didn’t know how to accept he’s gay. Got caught with a Tranny and got mad at me. Smh 😆boy I didn’t know you mess with boy’s WTF should’ve signed to Bad Boy.” His post comes after Young Buck alleged that he never received a $250K advance loan he accuses 50 Cent of promising him. “G-Unit would have this court accept that no bank records, business records, or tax filings exist to substantiate these payments,” his legal filing reads.

Young Buck is far from the only person 50 Cent has grievances with. Earlier this week, for example, he opened up about Jay-Z allegedly trying to block him from performing at Super Bowl LVI on It Is What It Is. “Our culture’s competitive. It is,” he explained. “I think when it goes past the music itself to the blocking things in business, then I don’t understand that. Right now, he’s not even competing for a slot. Akademiks continued, praising Diggs for not spending any real money on these alleged relationships. “I hear some of them are spending money to be with him,” he also alleged. This isn’t the first time DJ Akademiks has had something to say about Diggs’ dating life, however. He also accused him of being romantically involved with Cardi B amid her divorce from Offset earlier this year. “Shout out to Stefon Diggs, man… By the way, there’s two more rappers, he’s f***ing y’all b***hes now, too. Recently, Rapsody appeared to call out DJ Akademiks during a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “tv off” on Sway. “Feel like a Greek how I be stepping on these b****h n***as, Akademik / Affidavits, entertainment n***as who got open cases / Women charges, they say you violated,” she rapped. Of course, the internet personality didn’t waste any time before addressing the apparent jabs on stream. In a clip, he questions whether or not she’s aware of what kind of legal issues the owner of her record label Roc Nation has allegedly dealt with in the past.

“I do want to ask you this one question Rapsody,” he begins. “You signed to Roc Nation. I hope you go up there to the office. Do you ever do that? […] This is where my rap battle, where my diss song is gonna be at with you. When you talk about people with open cases, you know how many open cases your mans got? That run the label that you on? Do you know how many cases got settled that we didn’t hear about but I know about, even though the NDA is strong?”

This is far from the first time DJ Akademiks has been called out as of late, however. Earlier this month, social media users noticed that Kendrick Lamar landed a top spot in his Spotify Wrapped. “Normally Kendrick Lamar wouldn’t sniff my spotify wrapped.. but he’s #2 on mine,” he tweeted at the time. “The explanation for that is thats what happens when u beef with every1 favorite rapper.. we gotta listen to ur s**t too cuz of the beef.
