Fat Joe Calls Chris Brown “The 2Pac Of 2024” Amid Quavo Beef

Earlier this week, Fat Joe took to Instagram Live to weigh in on all of the high-profile rap beef going on these days. He commented on Drake’s feud with almost everyone, for example, calling Kendrick’s “Like That” verse with Future and Metro Boomin “the original.” Since that release, however, there’s been another feud brewing between Chris Brown and Quavo. The two have taken various shots at one another over the past couple of weeks, referencing past flings, allegations, and more. According to Fat Joe, Chris Brown would be pretty tough to beat.

“Of course, the 2Pac of 2024 has to be Chris Brown. Chris Brown is considered an alien. If you playing basketball, he’ll bust your a**. If you sing against him, he sing better, he dance better. If he gotta rap, he raps,” he explained. “Like, that’s battle rap. Chris Brown, that’s the one I been listening to.”

Fat Joe On Rap Beef

While the 2Pac comparison is pretty controversial, many others agree that Chris Brown’s latest diss was impressive. He unleashed on the former Migos member on “Weakest Link,” claiming to have slept with Quavo’s ex Saweetie while they were still together. “You f*cked my ex-ho, that’s cool, I don’t give no f*ck, lil n***a/ ‘Cause I f*cked yo’ ex when you were still with her, b*tch, I’m up, lil n***a.” He even said that when his groupmate Takeoff passed away in 2022, “everybody really wished” it had been him.

Cam’ron, 50 Cent, and many more think he came out on top. Others continue to root for Quavo, despite Brown claiming his last diss “don’t even need a response.” What do you think of Fat Joe’s take on rap beef? Are you surprised that he compared Brown to 2Pac? Do you agree with him or was that a stretch? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

DaBaby Channels Sexyy Red In New “Get It Sexyy” Freestyle

DaBaby is certainly no stranger to freestyles, and his latest has fans impressed, to say the least. Earlier this week, the Cleveland-born MC stopped by Power 106, where he rapped over Metro Boomin and Future’s new viral track alongside Kendrick Lamar, “Like That.” He also paid tribute to Sexyy Red, rhyming over her latest solo single, “Get It Sexyy.”

DaBaby is receiving a ton of praise online for his effortless bars, with countless commenters leaving their own requests for other freestyles they want to see him take on next. “Everybody wants to hate on DaBaby, but he can actually rap,” one fan writes. Another says, “One thing we can’t argue is that boy can spit.”

DaBaby Spits Over “Get It Sexyy”

This isn’t the only time the worlds of DaBaby and Sexyy Red have collided, however. Last summer, the duo linked up for a remix of his 2023 CALL DA FIREMAN cut “Shake Sumn,” which quickly became a fan favorite. They even joined forces to perform the track at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards after it was released. While listeners can agree that he delivered on his “Get It Sexyy” freestyle, not all of his work has gone over so well. Back in February, for example, he rapped over the iconic beat from Jay-Z’s The Black Album song “Public Service Announcement.” Many users felt as though the beat just wasn’t for him, and argued that he came up short.

Luckily, his other freestyles over Gunna’s “FUKUMEAN,” Burna Boy’s “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” and more have been more well-received by fans. What do you think of DaBaby’s recent “Get It Sexyy” freestyle? How do you think he did? Do you think he deserves all the praise he’s receiving online or not? Future & Metro Boomin Sample Charlamagne Tha God’s Praise On “We Still Don’t Trust You”

Today, Future and Metro Boomin dropped their eagerly awaited new album, We Still Don’t Trust You. The LP follows the duo’s first collaborative album We Don’t Trust You, which they unveiled just last month. Kendrick Lamar’s appearance on “Like That” quickly went viral, as the MC dissed Drake and J. Cole. In his verse, he references “the big three,” which is commonly believed to be him, Drizzy, and Cole. “Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it’s just big me,” he spits. Earlier this week, Charlamagne Tha God shared his own thoughts on the big three, revealing that he thinks Future deserves a spot too.

According to him, he’s one of the most influential rappers of the past decade and surpasses J. Cole easily. “They talking about a Big Three but really there’s a Fantastic Four. If you really wanna get a little spicy, Future could be in the Big Three,” he explained in an episode of Brilliant Idiots. “For better or worse, I can find a million Future clones all around the world. I don’t think there’s any rapper that’s influenced culture and music more than Future over the last decade. I think Future has influence. People wanna be Future, people wanna sound like Future.”

Future & Metro Boomin Unleash We Still Don’t Trust You

“I would have Drake, Future, Kendrick, personally,” he also added. “Statistically, if you’re talking about numbers and all of that, Future’s over Cole.” It looks like he appreciated the praise. He even used a sample of Charlamagne’s compliment for the new album. The Breakfast Club host’s voice appears on the track “#1 (Intro).”

Kendrick Lamar Praised Drake For Putting Him On Years Before “Like That” Diss, Resurfaced Clip Reveals

Future and Metro Boomin’s new collaborative album We Don’t Trust You finally arrived this week, and needless to say, the reactions have been huge. Kendrick Lamar’s appearance on “Like That” has gone especially viral, as he went after both Drake and J. Cole on his verse. “F*ck sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” he rhymes. “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/ Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it’s just big me/ N***a, bum, what? I’m really like that/ And your best work is a light pack.”

Of course, social media users have been out in full force sharing their takes on the diss since the release, and a lot of them aren’t happy. Some even recently took the opportunity to dig up an old clip of Kendrick talking about Drake in an old interview. Oddly enough, he had nothing but nice things to say.

Kendrick Lamar Discusses Drake In Old Clip

“Drake is a real good dude, first and foremost,” he says in the clip. “He heard my music probably a year back, reached out and just gave me respect on it… It was a mutual feeling for us, us appreciating the music.” Kendrick went on to explain how Drake invited him to join him on tour when he was still up and coming, claiming everyone involved had a “great bond.” While it remains unclear exactly what prompted Kendrick to slam the Canadian hitmaker on “Like That,” it’s apparent that he had a major change of heart somewhere down the line.

J. Cole’s Praise For Metro Boomin Resurfaces After Kendrick Lamar Diss

Future and Metro Boomin’s new collaborative album We Don’t Trust You has already sparked plenty of discussion about who’s dissing who, but Kendrick Lamar left little room for interpretation on his feature. The hitmaker drags both Drake and J. Cole on “Like That,” and has since gone viral for it. “F*ck sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” he raps. “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/ Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it’s just big me/ N***a, bum, what? I’m really like that/ And your best work is a light pack.”

Amid the fallout from the diss, social media sleuths have dug up a clip of J. Cole talking about Metro Boomin in a vlog last month, and having nothing but nice things to say about him. “I was in the studio the other night and [Metro Boomin] was in there cooking up,” he says in the clip. “Everything is just like confident steps, you’re not judging it, you’re not thinking about it.”

J. Cole Gives Metro Boomin His Flowers In Vlog

While some fans think a response from J. Cole is necessary, others think Kendrick’s bars were really aimed at Drake, and J. Cole was just collateral. Either way, fans aren’t happy, and continue to debate on which of the rappers is really the GOAT. Kendrick Lamar wasn’t the only one throwing shade on the new album either, as Future also seemingly went after Drake on the project’s title track.

“You a n***a number one fan, dog/ Sneak dissin’, I don’t understand, dog/ Pillowtalkin’, actin’ like a fed, dog/ I don’t need another fake friend, dog/ Can’t be ’bout a ho, ’cause we sharin’, dog/ In you feelings, n***a, why you playin’, dog?” he rhymes. What do you think of J. Cole’s praise for Metro Boomin? What about Kendrick Lamar dragging him and Drake on “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin? Tony Yayo Calls French Montana A “Marketing Genius”

It goes without saying that French Montana has managed to do the impossible by making a name for himself and standing out in the hip-hop space. While plenty of this has to do with the hitmaker’s musical abilities, he also has his marketing skills to thank, according to Tony Yayo. During a recent conversation with VladTV, the NYC-born performer praised French for his talents, arguing that they’ve put him ahead of the pack.

“These are the marketing geniuses right here,” Tony Yayo begins in a clip from the interview. “So I’m always going to shout them out… French to me was always a marketing genius. He always was kind of smart… he was always just kind of ahead of his time.”

Tony Yayo Thinks French Montana Was “Ahead Of His Time”

While he may have been ahead of his time, French Montana hasn’t been able to dodge criticism following the release of his latest project, Mac & Cheese 5. The performer received some pushback from fans for dropping various versions of the mixtape on streaming services, including one massive 126-track edition, which features the tracks from all versions combined. He even faced fraud allegations, after various listeners came forward claiming their pre-ordered vinyl copies of the record were shipped to incorrect addresses.

Ultimately, the project ended up debuting well below what was previously projected. Despite the backlash, he stands by the release, including the controversial 126-track edition. In a message shared with social media followers late last month, French called the decision nothing but “simple science,” and compared himself to the likes of City Girls’ JT and even Taylor Swift. What do you think of Tony Yayo’s recent praise for French Montana? Do you agree that the Morocco-born performer is a “marketing genius” as he says? Dr. Dre Gives Timbaland His Flowers, Says He Has Been “One His Main Inspirations”

Producers sometimes do not always get the credit the rightfully deserve. Even when some have earned a reputation amongst their counterparts, the fans usually give all the shine to the performers you can see attached to the track. However, even if fans know Timbaland and Dr. Dre, audibly hearing that they are great talents always feels good. Well, that is exactly what happened not too long ago. According to HipHopDX, Dr. Dre made sure to tell Timbaland that he was one of his biggest inspirations and continues to be to this day.

This all went down at a High School Education Benefit Auction at the Iovine and Young Center. Dre started off by saying, “This guy is so fantastic, man. One of my inspirations. He doesn’t know it but he’s been one of my main inspirations throughout my career.”

Wiz Khalifa Praises Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s “Vultures 1”

Earlier this month, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign finally unveiled their eagerly anticipated new album, Vultures 1. The album is the first of three volumes. The second and third are expected to drop in March and April. So far, fans have mostly been pleased with the album, and can’t wait to hear what else the duo has up their sleeves.

Several of the artists’ peers have also weighed in on Vultures 1, including Wiz Khalifa. Earlier this week, the performer took to social media to share his thoughts on the album. Clearly, he had nothing but nice things to say. He gave a nod to Ty Dolla Sign in particular, noting how he has a bright future ahead of him after this release. “I’m super hype for Ty,” he wrote. “Him and Ye’s album slaps uncontrollably.”

Wiz Khalifa Is “Super Hype For” Ty Dolla Sign

Of course, there will always be critics, especially when it comes to Ye and his questionable past. For example, following one of his and Ty’s listening parties in Chicago, Ozzy Osbourne took to Twitter/X to put him on blast. Allegedly, Kanye had asked if he could use a Black Sabbath sample for the project, and was told no. Evidently, however, he allegedly did it anyway. “@kanyewest ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A SECTION OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘WAR PIG’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS & WAS REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY,” the metal icon wrote. “HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”

Donna Summer’s estate took a similar, though far less passionate approach when they accused Ye of “copyright infringement” days later. Lizzy Bounces Her Bare Booty On IG Amid Weight Loss Praise

It’s no secret that Lizzo has found herself at the center of quite a bit of criticism in recent months. After being accused of sexual harassment by various former backup dancers, the performer took a mini hiatus before returning to social media in full force. She was even a presenter at the Grammys earlier this month, which prompted mixed reactions from viewers.

Aside from that debacle, Lizzo’s been a target for internet trolls since her initial rise to fame. Critics consistently bash the “Juice” performer for taking pride in her curves. Luckily for her, as well as her thirsty social media followers, she never lets that stop her from flaunting her figure online. Today, for example, she took to Instagram to model some skimpy new lingerie from her shapewear brand, Yitty.

She bared it all for the sultry selfie session, even turning around to give fans an up-close look at her bouncing backside. “Y’all better not sleep on this lace lingerie from @yitty 😏,” she captioned the carousel. Countless commenters are glad to see Lizzo flexing her confidence, her recent weight loss, and her new Yitty pieces. Of course, haters have also found their way into the songstress’s comments. Regardless, she later followed up with another round of photos, this time reminding users that her face card never declines.

Lizzo’s booty isn’t the only thing she’s shown off as of late. Last month, she took to Instagram to boast about her impressive tour stats, despite the aforementioned lawsuit controversy. “2024: $85,000,000 tour gross, 883,500 tickets sold, 68 dates, 14 countries, 3 continents. IM REALLY THAT GWORL,” she wrote. As expected, social media users are split on whether Lizzo should be celebrating in light of the lawsuit, but she continues to either way.
