Rihanna’s 2024 World Tour Deal Was Never Agreed Upon According To Source

Just a couple of days ago, music fans were going to be getting something so exciting. We are talking about a Rihanna world tour. The Mirror ran a report saying that the R&B superstar shook hands on a massive deal with Live Nation. According to them, the deal was $20 million plus and it was going to be in 2024-2025. Additionally, she is also sitting on two albums.

Apparently, though, we had the wool pulled over our eyes. According to a recent article from Billboard, a high source says it is totally “bogus.” The $39 million contract never went through, meaning no tour dates were ever in place either. “No tour has been confirmed for Rihanna,” says the source.

It Is A Sad Day To Be A Rihanna Fan

Of course, there are reasons as to why this could never happen. Rihanna recently gave birth to her and A$AP Rocky’s second child, Riot Rose. On top of that, we all know how involved she is with clothing, makeup, and every other avenue. It is extremely disheartening news as music and RiRi fans will have to continue to be patient. At least she put on a terrific show at the Super Bowl last year.

Tory Lanez’ Dad Addresses Prison Release Rumors

Recently, Tory Lanez has been trending on Twitter/X, as fans have falsely speculated that he was released from prison. Earlier this week, the performer resubmitted his bail request, after it was denied back in September. According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, the motion was “nearly identical” to the first one he submitted. Unfortunately for hopeful fans, he was not released. According to legal paperwork provided by Cuniff, his motion is still pending.

Amid the speculation, Lanez’ father took to social media to thank fans for their support. During a recent Instagram Live, he explained how his son’s voice “will not be silenced,” urging followers to pray for a good outcome. Cuniff claims that the rumors have led to her being “bombarded” with questions surrounding his release, which she finds laughable.

“I gotta say this was an absolutely hilarious 45 minutes of being bombarded with questions about Lanez getting bail, posting that it’s BS, then listening to a Twitter Spaces in which the people saying he got bail realized in real time it was BS. Epic,” she wrote. “‘It shouldn’t be that easy to make a fake email. … These things should be verifiable.’ Yes, if only there was this thing called the public court docket that we could check to see if something has actually happened in a case,” Cuniff added.

Yesterday, Cuniff additionally reported that Lanez’ legal team was hoping it would only take “a day or two” for a hearing to be scheduled in the appellate court. She says that despite their beliefs, the process will take far longer than that. Nicki Minaj Puts Alleged Swatter On Blast

Nicki Minaj recently took to social media, calling out the woman who allegedly had her swatted at the end of last month. It wasn’t the first time the rap diva fell victim to a swatting call, and it’s clear that she was fed up. According to reports, authorities were able to speak with Nicki upon their arrival and clear things up fairly quickly, however, swatting is notorious for being dangerous, annoying, and a waste of resources.

With that being said, Nicki didn’t just let the incident roll off of her back. She revealed today that the alleged perpetrator is now facing legal consequences for her actions, going on to call her a “dumbo.” Fans were quick to call on Nicki to reveal the individual’s name, which she refused at first. She claimed that it would be leaked soon enough, however, she unveiled it herself soon after. “Stephanie Bell,” Nicki followed up in another Tweet. “A warrant is in the system. Great detective work. So grateful.”

Shy Glizzy Is Alive Despite Rumors

Earlier this week, some reports surfaced suggesting that Shy Glizzy was dead. For obvious reasons, the news was shocking and managed to sadden those who believed it. Fortunately, however, it appears as though he’s still very much alive, according to his DJ. The DJ, DJ Flow, took to Twitter to set the record straight, even providing fans with proof that Shy’s still kicking. “SHY GLIZZY IS ALIVE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YALL,” he wrote.

He then went on to share a screenshot of a text conversation between him and the DC rapper, in which he asks his friend to confirm. “Just confirm with me you good bro,” he tells Shy Glizzy. Glizzy then responds with a photo, letting the DJ know that he’s okay. “For the weirdos who need confirmation,” DJ Flow captioned the image.

It appears as though the rumors all began when a local news outlet reported that he was the victim of a fatal shooting. They later followed up with a correction, confirming that the individual shot wasn’t Shy Glizzy. They also went on to reveal that the person who was shot hadn’t died either. “@Jefe is alive and the person shot tonight is conscious and breathing and isn’t him!!!” the outlet wrote. It’s safe to say that fans are relieved to hear that Shy Glizzy is still alive. With that being said, this isn’t the only shocking controversy he’s been a part of lately.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the rapper allegedly threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, Amaya Colon. In her request for a restraining order, the model accused her ex of having “anger issues.” She went on to detail an alleged incident which saw Shy Glizzy follow her in her vehicle and bang on her windows with a firearm. He denies ever threatening Colon. In July, it was revealed that the artist won’t be facing charges in the case, as the court was unable to find sufficient evidence. Colon appears to still have a temporary restraining order against her ex.

With so much uncertainty and fear surrounding his status, it can be tough to know which news to trust and what is just hearsay. Moreover, fans and audiences everywhere fell subject to the worst example of this so far. Reports from many sources indicated that his family was “preparing for the worst,” despite other sources providing promising updates on his recovery. As a result, Daily Loud recently took to Twitter to apologize for scaring fans with one of many misleading reports on his status.

“We would like to apologize for the misinformation regarding Jamie Foxx’s condition we unfortunately though the source we had was real but it was not,” their account tweeted. “We are sorry to Jamie and his family for our actions here and continue to wish him nothing but good health. Nicki Minaj Wants Default Judgement Against Blogger She Sued For False Reports

Nicki Minaj is asking the court for a default judgement after a blogger she sued for false reports ignored her filing. Moreover, Marley Green, better known as Nosey Heaux, accused Nicki of being a cokehead and made some disparaging comments about her son. While everything set itself in place for the court proceedings, the only missing thing is Green’s response. Furthermore, since she’s failed to address the lawsuit, the New York-raised MC wants the case resolved without her input. Overall, this could mean that the superstar rapper might get close to her requested damages of $75,000.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Minaj’s lawyer Judd Burstein made such requests on Thursday (February 23). Additionally, he asked the Clerk of the Court to issue a certificate of default in the case. “Defendants have not answered or otherwise moved with respect to the complaint and the time for them to do so has expired,” they stated. When Nicki sued Green in September of 2022, attorney Bobby Samini agreed to represent and accept service for Green the following October. However, even though Burstein sent Green and her team a summons and complaint via email that month, they had to extend the December deadline for response to January 16 of this year.

Still, it was all crickets on Green’s end. “The Defendants herein have outrageously defamed [Nicki Minaj] by posting a video on their Twitter page in which Defendant Marley Green, who goes by the name of ‘Nosey Heaux,’ falsely and maliciously stated that [Nicki Minaj] is a ‘cokehead’ who is ‘shoving all this cocaine up her nose,’” Nicki’s lawyer wrote in the original lawsuit. “Further evidencing a fundamental lack of decency, Green has also posted vile comments about [Nicki Minaj’s] one year-old son. While these comments are not actionable, they nonetheless demonstrate why punitive damages should be awarded in this case.”

Also, Burstein maintained that his client never used cocaine. In addition, he insisted that Green acted with “actual malice” because she “knew that there was a high probability that it was false.” Meanwhile, at least the “Anaconda” artist has more bright things to look forward to this year.
