Childish Gambino Continues His Comeback With World Tour Announcement

Fans of Childish Gambino have gotten some major good news recently. Most of it has come through his GIGLA radio series of which there’s been two episodes so far. In the newest episode he debuts a new song with Kanye West, or at least one made to sound like it’s with Kanye. Gambino has been using AI for various parts of the radio broadcasts and it has fans second guessing everything. Those listening couldn’t help but wonder if the verse West contributed was actually him or generated by a computer.

Now Childish Gambino seems to have begun teasing an upcoming world tour. Fittingly it’s called “The New World Tour” and the post includes a website of the same name where fans can sign-up for information on the tour. Gambino is fresh off an appearance during Tyler, The Creator’s Coachella headlining set that reminded everyone just how exciting of a live performer he is. There’s no information on what cities the tour may stop in or when it will get underway yet. But that hasn’t stopped fans from getting excited to potentially see him live. Check out the announcement he shared below.

Childish Gambino’s New World Tour

During the first episode of his new radio show, Childish Gambino revealed he has two forthcoming albums. The first is called Atavista and will serve as an updated version of his 2020 release 3.15.20. He’s also reportedly dropping an album called Bando Stone & the New World after that. The project will also serve as the soundtrack for a show of the same name that he’s also involved with.

As exciting as it was for fans to hear the announcement, there was also bad news. He confirmed that the new albums would be his last two releases under the Childish Gambino moniker. Despite that, nothing is stopping him from releasing music under his own name going forward. What do you think of Childish Gambino announcing that he’s going on a world tour soon? Do you plan on seeing him at one of his upcoming tour stops? Let us know in the comment section below.

Drake Shows Up For Nicki Minaj At Toronto Show

Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the history of music. Overall, his records speak for themselves. Although some like to pontificate on whether or not he is the best hip-hop artist of all time, there is no doubt that his influence is felt. During his come-up, there were certain artists he was linked to thanks to label affiliation and overall chemistry. One such artist was none other than Nicki Minaj. He and Nicki have maintained their friendship over the years, and they still support each other’s endeavors.

In fact, Drake came through for Nicki in a big way the other day. While trying to get into Montreal, she was having trouble with the border. As she explains, Drake made a few boss calls and was able to get her in. Although she started her Montreal show extremely late, she was able to get in her set, and move on to Toronto where she performed last night. As it turns out, Drake pulled up to last night’s show, and could be seen in one of the loges up top. He seemed to be having a good time, and it was cool to see him supporting a friend.

Either way, despite all of his recent feuds, he seems to be enjoying life, and living on with business as usual.

Kanye West Still Planning World Tour Despite Live Nation Boycott

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES is turning into a full-on phenomenon. The pair first dropped VULTURES 1 last month after repeated speculation and various previously announced release dates. The entire tracklist of the record hit the Hot 100 in the week following its release and a handful of tracks have stuck around. “CARNIVAL” in particular has already been West’s biggest hit in years and has hovered in the Top 5 for a full month since the album’s release.

The album has been played for fans at various listening parties in both the US and Europe. But West is unsurprisingly interested in taking the record on tour. He’s due to perform later this week at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles and wants to spin VULTURES into a full-on world tour. The only issue is that he will have to do it without one of the biggest names in concert promotion around. Live Nation. The company has reportedly made it clear they don’t want anything to do with West following his repeated antisemitic comments over the past two years. But West is still attempting to perform a story without them. Check out the newest update below.

Kanye West World Tour Update

According to Billboard, West is bringing back an old friend to try and swing a world tour. John Monopoly has been involved in the rapper since early in his career. He served as West’s manager in the 2000s. He’s returning to the role in an effort to book the rapper a world tour.

Over the weekend, West announced VULTURES 2. The project was originally due out earlier this month and though it didn’t drop at the time it appears to still be on the way soon. What do you think of Kanye West trying to plan a world tour without the support of Live Nation? Do you think he’ll be able to book enough shows and sell tickets without their support? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kid Cudi Shares The Dates For His Star-Studded “INSANO” World Tour

Kid Cudi has already had a VERY busy 2024. He kicked the year off back in January with the release of his new album INSANO. The album was originally due out last year but was eventually delayed to 2024. The album features an impressive array of collaborators including Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Pharrell Williams, XXXTENTACION, Lil Wayne, and Young Thug. But Cudi wasn’t done with just the one album as he’s already shared a follow-up to the record.

Last month, Cudi dropped the INSANO (NITRO MEGA) edition. Many fans assumed that it would just be a deluxe edition of INSANO but it turned out to be an entirely new project of its own. It added nearly an hour of entirely original material and added artists like Pusha T, Wiz Khalifa, and more to Cudi’s impressive roster of features so far this year. Last month, Cudi soft-announced an upcoming tour in support of both records and recently he shared the official dates. Check out his official announcement below.

Nicki Minaj Fans Brawl During 1st Night Of “Pink Friday 2 World Tour”

A brawl between fans of Nicki Minaj broke out at the rapper’s opening night performance on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour in Oakland on Friday night. As seen in a video obtained by TMZ, several attendees threw punches at one another in the audience as onlookers screamed out. It’s unclear what prompted the scuffle, but security eventually stepped in to break it up. Minaj’s next show will go down on Sunday in Denver, Colorado at Ball Arena.

As for Minaj’s performance, the setlist included new hits like “Red Ruby da Sleeze,” and “Everybody” as well as classics like “Anaconda,” “Super Bass,” “Moment 4 Life,” and more. Monica took the stage as the supporting act for the night. The two will be performing on the tour through July 14, 2024, when they stop in Liège, Belgium, at the Les Ardentes. When Minaj first announced the shows, she remarked online: “It’s gonna be greater than every other tour combined — like this album.” “Even though this album is called Pink Friday 2, even though we love the nostalgia, all that, etcetera, this will not remind you of another tour. That’s how I’ll say it,” she said.

Natalie Nunn Shouts Out Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” Tour At Night Club

All the Barbz are excited for Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 world tour, especially those with a platform of their own to tie into it. Moreover, Natalie Nunn recently shouted her out during a recent club appearance, presumably on Saturday night (February 24). “She’s kicking it off in my hometown, Oakland, California,” the Baddies star remarked amid friends, bottles, and booming speakers. “And not one of these b***hes is gonna chin-check me!” A lot of fans are similarly looking forward to the Trinidadian MC touching down in their home cities. After all, it’s been far too long without a consistent set of shows from her.

Furthermore, if you don’t understand that “chin-check” reference, that’s because Nicki Minaj is just as much of a fan of Natalie Nunn as the other way around. She shouted her out on her Lil Uzi Vert collab on their album Pink Tape, “Endless Fashion,” with the bar: “Even if my name was Natalie Nunn, you b***hes still wouldn’t chin-check me.” The Oakland native’s been running with this track ever since it dropped, and we can’t say we wouldn’t do the same with a high-profile salute like this.

Natalie Nunn Hypes Up Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour: Watch

In other Pink Friday 2 world tour news, Nicki Minaj recently explained why she chose to headline Wireless Fest rather than add another stop in London. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival,” she shared on Instagram. “This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see.”

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Katt Williams will join the tour, although folks are pretty skeptical. We can’t deny it would be an odd but potentially creative and well-rounded experience. Kid Cudi Announces World Tour With Support From Pusha T And Jaden Smith

Earlier this year, Kid Cudi released his new album INSANO. The project was originally intended to drop last year but was delayed multiple times. The project eventually arrived on January 12 sporting some impressive features. Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Pharrell, XXXTENTACION, Lil Wayne, and Young Thug all appear on the lengthy record. Despite that, the album sold just modest numbers in the wake of rough reviews from many critics.

Despite the mixed response to the record, Kid Cudi is announcing a major tour in support of it. In a tweet earlier today he announced an INSANO world tour. While he didn’t release any specific dates or countries he plans to visit he did announce two of the artists planned as openers. Those artists are Pusha T and Jaden Smith, though the announcement promises even more openers to be revealed later. Despite the scant announcement fans are pretty excited for the chance to see Cudi perform this year. Check out the reveal he made on Twitter and some of the fan reactions to it below.

Kid Cudi Going On An “INSANO” World Tour

Last week, Kid Cudi announced a new album called INSANO (NITRO MEGA). Though it sounds like a deluxe edition of the original album, Cudi has hinted that it’s a project entirely its own. Many are speculating that the new project could be something similar to Lil Uzi Vert’s LUV vs. The World 2, a new album added to Eternal Atake disguised as a deluxe edition.

The announcement of Pusha T as an opener won’t surprise fans who have been paying attention. Earlier this month Push took to social media to share a heartfelt birthday with for Cudi. Where do you think Kid Cudi will hit on his world tour? Do you plan on seeing him in concert later this year? Who do you think could be performing alongside him in addition to Pusha T and Jaden Smith? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Previews “Pink Friday 2” Tour Choreography

It goes without saying that the Barbz are pumped for Nicki Minaj’s upcoming world tour. The tour, which is in support of her new album Pink Friday 2, kicks off next month in Oakland. Nicki will be accompanied by Monica, making over 50 stops around the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

While fans still have a few more weeks until they can catch Nicki live, she’s been sure to give them plenty of updates on social media. Earlier this week, for example, she shared a fun clip of some of her backup dancers rehearsing the choreography for “FTCU.” For obvious reasons, the footage left supporters eager to see more. Luckily, Nicki has recently come through with yet another behind-the-scenes peek at what’s to come.

Nicki Minaj Rehearses For Tour

In a new clip, Nicki is seen posing in a mirror in a rehearsal space, as dancers behind her run through their choreography. In another short clip, she joins the dancers, showing off some moves of her own. Fans in the comments section are looking forward to seeing what other glimpses Nicki will give them before next month. The tour isn’t the only exciting thing Nicki has in the works, however. Earlier this week, she took to social media to preview a new song she has on the way with none other than Burna Boy.

The song in question is a remix of his track “Tested, Approved & Trusted” from I Told Them… “Top shotta never Burna Boy,” Nicki raps. “I been a learner boy/ When you spinnin’ they gon’ hop out with the burner boy/ Don’t get a bad b—h, you earn her, boy.” What do you think of Nicki Minaj previewing her Pink Friday 2 World Tour choreography on social media?
