According to new unconfirmed reports, Diddy’s legal team is taking new measures to combat the claims made by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against him. Moreover, for those unaware, Jones accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking, explosive claims similar to others that came forward. However, these are only allegations and all of the accusations put forth have been unconfirmed by a court of law at press time and the validity of any evidence is also unconfirmed. This new report from the Daily Mail suggests that Sean Combs’ lawyers, in addition to denying all of Lil Rod’s claims in tandem with Combs standing by his claims of innocence, are supposedly pointing to Rod’s alleged criminal history.
Furthermore, the outlet reports that Diddy’s legal representation is allegedly pointing to a reckless homicide conviction that Rodney Jones received back in 2003. In addition, defense lawyers in this specific case are apparently alleging that Rod also faced multiple assault charges that eventually resulted in dismissal. Tyrone Blackburn, Jones’ attorney and a staunch proponent that Puff will be indicted soon, responded to these allegations via a Page Six statement. In it, he claims that this is merely an attempt from the defense team to distract from supposedly harsher upcoming consequences, and that Rod pleaded guilty to this because he didn’t have proper legal representation.

“I am sure you know that a charge is not a conviction,” Blackburn said of Diddy’s team’s claims. “So, running this story on behalf of [Diddy’s camp] is problematic and calls into question your integrity as a journalist. Mr. Jones’ July 2003 reckless homicide occurred when he was 17 years old. He was driving a vehicle with his cousin in the passenger seat. The police pulled him over, but he was afraid and drove off. It was pretty typical behavior for a young black boy in Chicago when pulled over by the police. As a result, he totaled the vehicle, and his cousin, who was his best friend, died.
“He has to live with the guilt of the death of his best friend and family member for the rest of his life,” he continued. “But don’t let that stop you from running this story and getting your clicks. [Diddy’s] legal team can do nothing to distract from the fact that he will be indicted soon.” One of the Bad Boy mogul’s attorney’s previously claimed to TMZ that Lil Rod is “a liar who filed a $30 billion lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday” along with the team’s other denials of any and all wrongdoing. In his appearance on the We In Miami Podcast, the rapper and businessman was asked about the fury of rumors surroundingMeek Mill and Diddy. Of course, the host is referring to the speculation that these two were sexually involved with one another. Unlike50 Cent, Benzino had no jokes to make. Instead, he showed great compassion for them during his impassioned response.
“It’s none of our f***ing business if [Diddy] and Meek Mill are f***ing or not f***ing,” Benzino said. “The internet makes all our business everybody’s business. DJ Akademiks recently engaged in one of his most bizarre interviews yet: a cigar-smoking sit-down with none other than Donald Trump… Jr. Moreover, while they discussed a lot of topics, one of the most notable moments was when they discussed the current wave of sex crime accusations against Diddy, which also involved a federal raid. Trump Jr. compared the excessive force allegedly displayed by law enforcement and their weaponry to what they displayed to his father when they raided his Mar-A-Lago property. In both cases, he claimed, police were well-aware that the subjects were open to the raid, but still overestimated their resources to intimidate them.
In addition, Donald Trump Jr. told DJ Akademiks about claims that he heard through an ex-partner about how the late Kim Porter was afraid of Diddy during their relationship. Apparently, the ex-partner was a model in New York and a close friend of Porter’s, and someone who alleged that she heard of their supposedly abusive dynamic first-hand. While the two men didn’t get into many details about all this, and the businessman said he didn’t want to spread rumors, they still went along with this narrative as you can see in the clips below.
While the media personality is busy with a lot to cover in the hip-hop world right now, this Diddy case has been a big part of his social media presence as of late, although the same goes for most hip-hop media these days. 50 Cent’s latest troll of Diddy amid his various sex crimes allegations is a little misleading when you see it on paper. Moreover, via Instagram on Wednesday night (April 17), he posted a video of the Bad Boy mogul seemingly texting him, inviting him to have a drink, come over, be in his next rap video… you get the idea. “Yo this is fun to me, I had to share this it made me laugh,” Fif captioned the screen recording in question, although it’s unclear if this is someone else’s video or if this is some sort of software or interface through which he fabricated this back-and-forth.
Either way, we’re sure many will find this amusing, even if 50 Cent’s relentless Diddy jokes are starting to get a little played out and stale. However, we’d much rather take those than potential misinformation, which many thought that he engaged in thanks to another recent social media post. Furthermore, the G-Unit MC shared a news report claiming that Sean Combs was in a sexual relationship with actor Reginald VelJohnson. Many folks accused the source of this rumor, Mediatakeout, of often spreading fake news, so this wasn’t as hard-hitting as he maybe thought.
Still, elsewhere, 50 Cent inadvertently cosigns more staunch and seriously framed attacks on Diddy that don’t just focus on the “zesty” allegations that some joke about first and foremost. For an example of this, look no further than Kesha changing her “Tik Tok” lyrics to “F**k P. Diddy” as opposed to her original “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.” “LOL she said [middle finger emoji],” 50 wrote of this decision on social media. “Fvck P DIDDY, HAHAAHAHA [eyeball emoji] PUFFY LIKE 50 TOLD HER TO SAY THAT!”
Meanwhile, one of the most recent developments in Puffy’s various lawsuits is that Universal Music Group wants out, with a motion to dismiss the case against them. It’s unclear how the rest of the industry that’s implicated in these accusations will handle them moving forward, either defending or abandoning him. Only time will tell, and with such a massive and hard to parse scandal, perhaps this will be a particularly long process. Anthony Edwards popped off against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night’s (April 9) NBA basketball game, cinching his first-ever 50-point performance. 50 Cent, a Timberwolves front office partner, was loving it, as the star player gestured a five-0 hand motion to him in the crowd after his lay-up. In fact, they even chopped it up behind the scenes, with Edwards remarking to the G-Unit mogul that he’s “funny as hell” after a hug. “Now puffy not gonna want to watch the game no more,” 50 Cent captioned the clip of him embracing Anthony Edwards, calling to his relentless bashing of the Bad Boy mogul amid his various accusations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and other crimes. This was a well-established feud before these allegations emerged explosively toward the end of last year. As such, we can’t really say that this is surprising or unprecedented in any way. Yet it doesn’t make 50’s connections to the Diddy scandal any less outrageous or unwarranted, as he’s finding pretty much any excuse to comment on it.
What’s more is that this is also pitting the Queens native against other artists or celebrities who have come forward with a defense of Diddy. For example, he recently attacked Jason Derulo over his comments on the matter. “I believe in that. I believe in innocent before proven guilty,” Derulo had told TMZ during an encounter. “Shut the fvck up ! let me find out you on one of them tapes boy,” 50 Cent captioned an Instagram post about these comments, making his stance on even third parties to this situation very clear.

Tia Kemp went off on Rick Ross in a video on social media as she’s been trying to get in contact with him regarding their son’s upcoming prom. In doing so, she accused him of being on the tapes Diddy allegedly has of people attending his parties.
“I want you to talk. Don’t be scared now. No Diddy huh?” Kemp began. “You scared now. I know you’re on them tapes. Freaky b*tch. When Live Bitez posted the video on Instagram, fans were loving the energy. “Her and boosie need to have a podcast together with one good moderator,” one user commented. As for the tapes Kemp mentioned, they’re related to the rumors that Diddy has been filming illicit behavior at his parties for years. While there’s no evidence of that being the case, Homeland Security agents raided his properties in Los Angeles and Miami, last month. No charges came of the incident.

The document, however, doesn’t include Diddy’s name, but Brendan Paul as well, which has led fans to wonder just who he is.

Although his date of birth remains unknown, reports confirm that Brendan Paul is 25 years old. According to the police report obtained by New York Post, he is from Shaker Heights, Ohio, and still lives in the state. The report states that his current address is somewhere in Chagrin Falls, where he lives with his parents in an $829,000 four-bed, six-bath home.
For the first three years of high school, Paul reportedly attended Brewster Academy, a private boarding school in New England. The New York Posts states that he subsequently transferred to Hawken High, a private day school in Ohio where he completed his senior year of high school and later, was admitted into Syracuse University, New York, where he was popularly known as a basketball player. However, he was only there until his sophomore year, after which he allegedly transferred to Fairmont State University. It wasn’t until he finished University and got into the music industry that Brendan Paul met Diddy.

Although Paul hoped to transition into pro basketball after college, that unfortunately didn’t work out. As a result, he chose to try his hand at music production. During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, he began making beats on his laptop. That was the start of his journey as an amateur producer. Subsequently, according to New York Post, he linked up with Diddy to work on 2023’s The Love Album. Surprisingly, Brendan Paul is not credited as a producer on any song on the Diddy album. It remains unknown how and when exactly the two met. However, there are a handful of social media posts from Paul showing him in close proximity to Diddy.
On Monday, March 25, 2024, Rodney Jones amended his lawsuit against Diddy. The producer added 25 pages to the existing 73 pages of the document, including more allegations against Diddy, and mentioning Brendan Paul. According to the document, Diddy allegedly has a love for a substance called pink cocaine aka tuci. Allegedly, Diddy has a designated mule who supplies the drug to him, and this mule is Brendan Paul. “Plaintiff Jones personally witness [sic] Mr. Combs do a few lines of coke in his dressing room. Defendant Sean Combs wanted tuci but Brendan forgot it, so Defendant Kristina Khorram called Yung Miami. Who then brought it on the private jet from Miami,” reads the lawsuit.
Wendy Williams and Diddy haven’t always seen eye to eye. In fact, they publicly acknowledged their contempt for one another. Williams gained a reputation for often stirring the pot, garnering more than a few celebrity adversaries along the way. As far as Diddy goes, Wendy had more than a lot to say about his life and career.
In 2009, on her radio show, The Wendy Williams Experience, Williams recounted an incident where she allegedly nearly faced a confrontation with the girl group Total, who was signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records label. She alleged that Diddy had sent the girl group to beat her up while she was still working at Hot 97. “I got off the air one day, them Total b*tches were downstairs, and everybody upstairs at the radio station was looking down, egging it on… Waiting for something to go down,” she said. Williams later explained that her then-boyfriend had prevented the situation from escalating.
Wendy Williams Alleged That Diddy Got Her Fired From Hot 97
During her tenure at Hot 97, Wendy Williams developed a hypothesis regarding Diddy’s potential involvement in sexual encounters with other men. Allegedly, she obtained a photograph depicting a man purportedly pulling down Combs’s shorts while he vacationed in Cancun. In a 2013 interview with Vlad TV, Wendy Williams delicately addressed her departure from Hot 97. Specifically, she hinted that it was linked to her speculation concerning Diddy’s sexuality.
“There was a radio personality once upon a time and her name was Wendy Williams,” she began. “And she was practically burned at the stake for talking about such and now it’s all come full circle. There were many situations back in the day in my career and it’s all coming full circle.” Several years later, her allegation was corroborated by Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal.
In a 2022 interview with Art of Dialogue, he said: “Diddy got one of the hottest DJs off Hot 97 because she wanted to put up a picture of him getting his pants pulled down. Diddy told Hot 97 if they didn’t get rid of her before he got back in New York, that they was not going to get any music from any of his friends… Before we landed back in New York, Wendy Williams was on the radio station in Philly. It was over for her. She was fired.”
Williams Claims Diddy Put Her Through Hell

Us Weekly reported that in her 2004 book titled The Wendy Williams Experience, the talk show host expressed that she held a level of disdain towards Diddy. She also alleged that he had “single-handedly attempted to sabotage” her career. She wrote: “The hell he put me through, I will never forget. But I don’t hate him.”
Wendy Williams Insisted That Diddy Controlled Cassie
Following a brief breakup between Diddy and Cassie Ventura in 2015, Wendy Williams made some heavy claims. She speculated about a potential power dynamic imbalance between the record producer and the singer. On her televised talk show in 2015, Williams suggested that Combs might have exhibited controlling behavior. “My thing about when you date a mogul, it’s a really difficult thing to avoid them because if you use your head, you never know when they’ll pop up on the scene,” she said. Evidently, Williams’s words held significance. Cassie famously filed a lawsuit against Diddy in 2024, alleging rape, as well as physical and emotional abuse. Barely a day after the lawsuit’s filing, Diddy and his legal representatives reached an undisclosed settlement with Cassie.

During a 2015 episode of her show, Williams humorously remarked that she doubted Diddy would consider settling down, given his penchant for the party lifestyle. She quipped: “He’ll pick [a woman] and settle down but right now I don’t think he will,” Williams claimed. “I think he’s leading this playboy lifestyle where he’s got these women in his life… where he’s got them hypnotized.” Once again, this has been alleged to be leaning toward the truth. According to Lil Rod’s recent lawsuit against the mogul, Diddy has quite several women under his thumb.
Diddy “Ain’t Going Nowhere”
Wendy Williams and Diddy ultimately seemed to make up in 2017. The artist and producer made a highly anticipated guest appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. Williams expressed to Combs, revealing to the audience that it had been 15 years since they last saw each other. “I know I pissed a lot of people off, including you. But this is a full circle moment.” In 2019, the talk show host reflected on Diddy’s appearance on her show. Speaking to Sway’s Universe, she quipped: “He showed up, he smelled great, his stomach was flat. Heather, he was handsome and he ain’t going nowhere. Can’t be stopped now. Bad Boy for life.” It’s uncertain whether she alluded to his influence and power, but Williams’s sudden admiration for Diddy raised eyebrows.
Wendy Calls Diddy Out For Manipulation
In 2018, amidst one of Diddy and Cassie’s tumultuous break-ups, Wendy Williams didn’t shy away from addressing their breakup on her show. She openly expressed her views, suggesting Cassie might have invested her time in a man considerably older than her, given Diddy’s 17-year seniority. Following the announcement of their split, Diddy made a public attempt at reconciliation through social media about a week later. Initially supportive of their reunion, especially after Diddy’s heartfelt declaration of love for Cassie on her talk show, Wendy Williams later criticized his actions as manipulative. She commented: “I suggest don’t use social media, though, to reach out. This was a grand overture from Puffy. I don’t believe he really wants her or wants her back. I believe he probably treated her at some particular point like a possession… If you really care, then you’d reach out privately, not publicly.”
With Diddy in the eye of the storm, if you will, you would think he would be more wary about his every move going forward. However, he has mostly been living life as if nothing bad was happening. Regardless, it seems like everyone that even slightly involves themselves in this situation suddenly has a target on their back for either Sean Combs’ defenders or his detractors. But Fif’s never been one to put out a fire quietly, and we’re sure he’ll continue to douse some gasoline on the discussion.
50 Cent aside, the most recent development in the Diddy situation involves another of his alleged sex workers, model Jane Ramey, denying this status. “Yes, I dated someone,” she shared, reportedly via her publicist. “Dating someone doesn’t directly correlate to any of the false allegations made. How unfortunate we’ve entered a time where caring for someone or falling in love is worthy of scrutiny in the court of public opinion. What may be amusing for you is real life for others, and my feelings have never been for entertainment, nor are they up for discussion.
