She even recently unveiled her debut single “Down The Drain,” trying her hand at yet another endeavor. Oftentimes, however, the Renaissance woman’s short-lived fling with Kanye West overshadows it all.

During a recent interview with InStyle, Fox reflected on the whirlwind romance, revealing that it’s put her off from dating anybody else in the industry. “I mean, I think we all know what it is,” she said when asked what public opinion about herself she just can’t shake. “Dating that man for a month—one month. And that’s why I have such a sour taste in my mouth about dating anyone in this sphere. Because I don’t ever want to just be known as someone’s girlfriend. I know I’m so much more than that.”

“And I feel like that happens so much to women in this industry,” Fox continued. “They’re only as good as their partner or they can make a whole career off being some guy’s partner. And I feel like I have to transcend that, and I want to break that mold, and I want to just stand on my own two feet and not need a man to back me. I did that for years. I’m good. I have established myself, and I want to keep establishing myself. And maybe one day I’ll even be taken seriously.”

Although some find it to be a bit annoying and concerning, he continues to do his own thing. From anti-semitism to delusions of grandeur, Ye has done and said it all. However, there are some statements that fans simply cannot help but roll their eyes at. During a recent interview with Justin LaBoy, Ye ended up giving us plenty of those moments.

This interview made waves for a few reasons. Of course, there were plenty of disses sent towards J. Cole and Drake. Moreover, Ye spoke about the recent sexual assault that involved his wife, Bianca Censori. That said, there is one instance in the interview where Kanye made some bizarre comments about being like God. In fact, Ye stated that he is God and that he is the head of the Kingdom. This got a laugh and a hearty “wow” from Justin LaBoy who pretty well sat back and agreed with every single thing Ye had to say. Fans even commented on how the media personality is coming across like a “yes man.”

Kanye West’s new interview on Justin LaBoy’s The Download podcast contained a whole lot of scandalous, bizarre, or interesting revelations. We could talk about the “Like That” remix he premiered, his lewd obsession with Michelle Obama, the alleged assault investigation against him after Bianca Censori was allegedly sexually assaulted… it’s a doozy. However, something that folks probably didn’t expect to hear about was that Ye and Lil Durk fell out of favor with each other, or at least, that’s how the Yeezy mogul sees things. They previously collaborated on various cuts, and as two Chicago rappers, some hometown fans likely feel very disappointed by this rift.

“Durk sent in a verse and he said, ‘Take my Yeezy shirt off and make it a doormat,’” Kanye West claimed of Lil Durk. “He said it four times. I hit him up and said, ‘You’re breaking my heart. Who told you to do this?’ I’m like, ‘Man, this is bad for the city. Who told you to do this?’ It’s like when J. Cole did the diss track or whatever. You got Drake, he’s really paid to come at my neck. But it’s another thing for somebody like that to come around you. It’s the whole friends [and] enemies talk.

“He must have never really liked me,” Kanye West went on concerning Lil Durk. I don’t know exactly what it is. I spoke to this man a few times about the line and then he changed the line to: ‘I take my Yeezy hat off and give my lil’ h*e that.’ And I’m just like, ‘Why y’all think y’all can play with me?’” It seems like he might be referring to a leaked track off an upcoming VULTURES volume, “Field Trip,” which also reportedly features Playboi Carti and Kodak Black.

Meanwhile, the “PROBLEMATIC” creative also expressed that these lyrics hurt him more than Drake taking Smurk on tour during the VULTURES 1 rollout. “And it’s f**k Drake for taking Durk right at the beginning of the Vultures role [sic] out I’ll come back to yall if I think of more f**k you’s,” he had ranted on Instagram. These issues between these former partners could extend to them removing each other’s contributions off of their respective most recent albums, or perhaps some disagreements over label contracts. Latto Opens Up On Which Of Her Hits Was The Easiest To Write

Latto has become a certified hitmaker in the past few years. While “Big Energy” served as her breakthrough and her biggest hit yet, she’s become a pretty reliable staple of popular music. Last year she teamed up with Cardi B for a hit remix of her song “Put It On Da Floor.” She also joined K-pop star Jung Kook for his massive hit song “Seven.” During a recent interview with Hot 107.9 she spoke on the writing process of some of her biggest songs, in particular, which one was the easiest.

When asked what track was the simplest to assemble she answered with one of her first singles ever. “‘Bitch from da Souf’ was like, I was pullin’ up a beat pack from Bankroll Got It, and I heard the ‘Bitch from da Souf’ beat, and I really just started writing it in my Notes. Went to the studio that night, or the next day, and cut it,” she explains. She goes on to explain that now she feels a lot more pressure during the songwriting process than she used to. ““Now, I be trying to recreate that process, because now I be overthinking everything. Earlier this week, Latto was asked about her top three favorite female rappers of all time. She refused to say the final rapper on her list by name, leading many to believe that she was talking about Nicki Minaj.

Vince Staples Hints At New Album Before Tour This Summer

Vince Staples may be hot off the heels of his new acclaimed Netflix show, but it looks like he’s also transferring that run in the studio. Moreover, during a recent interview with Big Boy, he spoke on his plans to put out another body of work before his upcoming European summer tour. “I’m working, I’m close,” the rapper and entertainer remarked when asked about new music plans. “I’m trying to put something out. I got Europe in June, so I’m going to try to put something out before I go out there.” “Yeah, for sure,” he answered when the iconic radio host asked whether he’d drop this new material before he goes on his trek across the Atlantic.

However, if you’re on the Long Beach native’s side of the Atlantic and can’t make these shows, don’t fret. He’s got a couple of American performances on the schedule, such as Lollapalooza in Chicago in August and Jack Harlow’s Gazebo Music Festival in Kentucky this May. For this European trek, titled the Black In Europa tour and marking his first headlining tour in five years, Vince Staples will hit up cities from June 4 to June 15. Specifically, in chronological order, he’s set to perform at Cologne and Berlin in Germany, Paris, London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Barcelona.

In addition, this follows the “ARE YOU WITH THAT?” multi-hyphenate’s efforts to promote some other highly anticipated new music from his fellow Los Angeles spitter. Surely Q will return the favor when Vince Staples rolls out his next full-length effort. Either way, we don’t need anyone to tell us that he’s likely coming through with some serious heat.

He had some hilarious suggestions for the league during his recent appearance on Paul George’s podcast. “And I had to practice my breathing,” Sexyy Red continued. “Like, before I’d go on stage, I had to hold my stomach in and look at myself and be like, ‘Can they tell?’ Once I just was like, ‘Okay I can’t keep hiding it ’cause it hurt to just be on stage all day holding your stomach in.’ So I’m like, ‘Just forget about it.’ I was pregnant on the Drake tour and the Moneybagg tour but nobody knew. People started suspecting it on the Drake tour because there was videos and pictures of me coming out. Dr. Dre’s recent appearance on James Corden’s This Life of Mine… show on SiriusXM held a lot of curious and compelling bits of info, takes, and confessions. For one, it reignited the ever-enduring and always annoying debate of whether Eminem can be considered the best rapper of all time. TL;DR: yes, and if you disagree, that’s equally valid. Move on. Anyways, the N.W.A. producer also revealed a very interesting and quite surprising aspect of his relationship with one of his closes industry peers: Snoop Dogg. The two go way back, yet when it comes to the Long Beach MC’s many business ventures, the mogul Dre steps in to question him.

“I personally think he does too much s**t and we’ve been battling and bumping heads about [it],” Dr. Dre explained to Corden. “Hell yeah I tell him that. I’m always in my big brother mode. I always tell him like, ‘Why the f**k are you doing this and that? Come on.’ He’s like, ‘Let me live, Dr. Dre, cuz. Let me do my thing, man. Do I bother you about the s**t you doing, cuz?’ So we have our -– I call it sibling rivalries and s**t like that -– but I would love it if he’d just focus on this thing and make sure this thing right here that we’re working on is the best that it can be.“

Elsewhere in the interview, Dr. Dre also spoke on having a brain aneurysm back in 2021. “It definitely makes you appreciate being alive, that’s for sure,” he recalled. “It’s something you can’t control, it just happens. During those two weeks, I had three strokes. I got up and went about my day, and I thought I could lay down and take a nap. My son and a female friend were like, ‘No, we need to take you to the hospital.’ Next thing you know, I’m blacking out, I’m in and out of consciousness and I end up in the ICU.

“I was there for two weeks,” the Aftermath boss went on. “I’m hearing doctors come in [and saying] ‘You don’t know how lucky you are.’ I asked questions about what I could’ve done to prevent this. No one could give me an answer.” Fortunately, Dr. Dre overcame this moment of his life, and now he and Snoop Dogg can go on to do more great things. Dr. Dre was the most recent special guest on the SiriusXM show This Life of Mine… with James Corden, and they spoke about a lot of interesting and compelling topics. Of course, one of the main points throughout was the legendary career that he has amassed and created up until this point in the realms of music and business. When it comes to these endeavors, a lot of folks think that there was no better “investment” that the N.W.A. legend did than supporting the biggest rapper of all time: Eminem. It seems like he agrees with this statement at least a little bit, because he expressed on the program that he thinks Marshall Mathers is the best to ever pick up a mic.

“‘My Name Is,’ that’s the first thing that happened,” Dr. Dre begins. “I put the beat on, and he just did that, right away. No, we’re in the studio, and I hit play on it. *imitates drum beat* And he just went, ‘Hi! My name is!’ It happened that fast, no bulls**t. And then, we went from there, and that was the beginning of this relationship. I think he’s the best MC ever. Point blank, period. Of course, there are going to be arguments about that because he’s a white guy. You know? I don’t think anyone that’s rapping can touch Eminem on that microphone.”
