Fake Drake Dresses As Ice Spice For Halloween In Sassy Viral Video

We thought we’d seen the last of Fake Drake when the Canadian rapper and his OVO brand sent a cease and desist to at least one of the men pretending to be him last year. 2023 hasn’t seen too many celebrity doppelgangers (that trend appears to have been left in 2022). Nevertheless, Halloween is giving people the perfect excuse to dress up in costume as their dream persona. Among our favourite looks so far have been Saweetie as the lead character from Edward Scissorhands and North West paying tribute to her dad. At this time, an homage to Ice Spice also has our attention for reasons completely unexpected.

On Monday (October 30), a video of a man who looks similar to Drake dressed in costume as the Bronx baddie began circulating online. Some falsely labelled the original poster as Champagne Papi, but upon closer inspection, it’s obvious that it’s one of the Scorpion rapper’s many lookalikes. Rather than going for a “40”, middle-parted,” the fake Drizzy stuck with Spice’s signature curls. His outfit – a pink velour tracksuit – kept him looking fresh enough to make the “Deli” hitmaker proud.

“The fact that y’all really believe that’s Drake is [wild] 😂😂😂😂,” one Instagram user wrote under @theneighborhoodtalk’s post. “Lmaooo he should’ve worn a skater skirt & really brought it home 😭😂,” another chimed in, curious to see what the father of one’s legs might look like in one of Spice’s signature styles.

While people all across the country donned their red wigs to step out as stars like Sexyy Red and Ice Spice for Halloween, the latter lyricist broke the internet with her costume. She chose to channel the famous pin-up character Betty Boop while performing this past weekend, showing off practically her whole behind while spitting some of her biggest hips. Check out videos from that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Drake Doppelganger Turns Up Club Night In Brooklyn To Hilarious Viral Results

Fake Drake strikes again… well, not the one you already know, but a completely new doppelgänger throwing his hat into the ring. Moreover, a clip recently went viral of a fan impersonating the OVO mogul at a Brooklyn nightclub as they played his classic 2011 track “Take Care.” You can see a lot of camera lights on him as people are taking note of his cornrows, his large grey sweatshirt akin to the “Hotline Bling” music video fit, and the fact that he knows every single word to the song. Of course, it doesn’t look exactly like Drizzy, so maybe it’s not as convincing as people would like it to be for this level of virality. Nevertheless, it’s the passion that counts, and people’s cheers speak louder than words.

Furthermore, you can hear as many folks in the crowd sang along to every word of “Take Care” alongside this new Fake Drake. Not only that, but it’s possible that this was one of those club nights during which they advertise a specific artist for the dance floor. Maybe it was OVO night at this Brooklyn venue, and the fan had to come well-dressed for the occasion and prepared to impress and prompt the typical “Oh my God, you look just like him, that is so funny!” comment from a patron or two… or the whole joint. Also, the big elephant to address is that yes, it is Halloween season, so this makes it a little less random.

On top of all of that, it’s also around the time of Drake’s birthday, which gives fans yet another reason to celebrate. After all, the now-37-year-old did plenty over the past few days to celebrate. In fact, there’s been no shortage of celebrations from fans, friends, family, and the industry itself. For example, the RIAA gave him a couple more certifications and made him the first artist to sell over 200 million certified single units.

Meanwhile, do you think that this die-hard nailed the costume? What rapper would you try to emulate with a Halloween fit this year? Let us know in the comments section down below. Also, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake… and his clones.

Lamar Odom And Fake Drake Are Squaring Off In A Celebrity Boxing Match

While Instagram banned Fake Drake — aka Izzy Drake — for impersonating the rapper on his feed (despite an apparent co-sign from Drizzy himself) that’s not stopping the impersonator from continuing to capitalize on his, err… likeness. Celebrity Boxing just announced via TMZ Hip Hop that Fake Drake will be duking it out in the ring with none other than former LA Lakers champ and former Khloé Kardashian beau Lamar Odom.

Izzy would be wise to be careful, assuming he watched Odom totally pound America’s tormented little brother, Aaron Carter in a Celebrity Boxing match last year. Fake Drake has been running his mouth, challenging the real Drake to a $1 million boxing match (which was the likely straw that broke the camel’s back on Izzy’s Instagram account) and apparently Odom did not find this sideshow amusing.

“Man, whassup? I hear this news that this fake lookalike wanna fight my man Drake… Swagger jacker dude,” Odom said in a pre-fight hype video while wearing a Nipsey Hussle shirt. “But my man don’t really get his hands dirty. So what I’m gonna do is I’m just gonna step in the way and take that fight. Get the contract, bring it right to you. Lay you right down. Odom out.”

Meanwhile, Fake Drake’s hype video consisted of him mostly dodging tennis balls. This fight might be over before it even begins. But if anything, Fake Drake will have some extra scratch to bet on a fake roulette table.

The Celebrity Boxing match is scheduled to take place on October 15th in either Atlantic City or Miami.

Fake Drake Challenges Real Drake To $1 Million Boxing Match, Promises To Change Name If He Loses

Drake

Fake Drake has made headlines as of late, simply for looking very similar to the real Drake. He was recently thrown out of a club in Memphis for apparently looking like Drake. It looks like he is still trying to cash in on his 15 minutes of fame, this time by challenging the real Drake to a boxing match.

In a video, fake Drake, also known as Izzy Drake, challenges the Honestly, Nevermind rapper to a $1 million boxing match. If he loses to the real Drake, Izzy promises to change his name.

“It’s your boy Izzy Drake, OVO tings, you already know we outside. I just signed with Celebrity Boxing,” Izzy Drake said in the video. “August 27th, I’m calling Drake out for a friendly boxing match. If I win, you gotta sign me to OVO you gotta give me a million dollars. If you win, I’ll change my name. It’s an OVO ting, you already know.”

Drizzy Drake has yet to respond to Izzy Drake’s challenge, and it is unlikely that he will. Fake Drake made similar comments while on the We In Miami Podcast, saying that he wanted $1 million and an OVO deal.

Drake Reacts To Fake Drake Doppelgänger Getting Kicked Out Of Houston Club

Drake

We’re living in an age where people get famous just because they look like a celebrity.

Ever since Certified Lover Boy, Fake Drake has been enjoying his newfound fame. He has been making club appearances and doing interviews just off the fact that he looks a lot like the 6 god himself.

He has even caught Drake’s attention, but only after he got kicked out of a nightclub in Houston.

Houston club promoter Chris Chizer called out Fake Drake in the club, saying that he couldn’t be there.  “Fake Drake can’t be in Area 29,” he said. “Fake Drake can’t be in here, he’s got to go!”

The clip ended up on DJ Akademiks’ page after it had gone viral.

This caught the attention of Drake who apparently liked Akademiks’ post.

After the video went viral, Fake Drake, also known as Izzy Drake, clarified the situation, saying that it was staged and an attempt to promote Drake’s newest album Honestly, Nevermind.

“I don’t need security. I walked in there, they saw the OVO chain. They said, ‘Oh yo, come in,’” he explained. “I went to the front where the stage is and we staged that shit for Drake’s promo.”

Even after the release of Honestly, Nevermind, Izzy Drake facetimed Drake to congratulate him on dropping his latest album.
