Odom subsequently asks if he would be allowed to watch, all while making a masturbation motion with his hand. It was bizarre but led to a lot of laughs.

Lamar Odom Gets Freaky

Lamar Odom Rejects Idea Of “Kardashian Curse”

Lamar Odom has said that he doesn’t believe in the “Kardashian Curse”. “If the curse is strength, or financial abundance, or family strength, then yeah, they’re cursed,” Odom said in a recent podcast appearance. However, he refused to indulge in the idea that people associated with the family, especially athletes, suffer as a result of their association. Odom was married to Khloe Kardashian for four years after a whirlwind romance in 2009. They originally met at a party thrown by Metta Sandiford-Artest.

It’s a long-standing conspiracy that doesn’t hold much water. The athletes associated with the family have often been solid but not spectacular rotational players toward the end of their careers. Assigning blame for the Astroworld tragedy on Travis Scott’s connection to the family is distasteful at best. Furthermore, the idea of a “family curse” ties into the desire that people have to make the Kardashians the 21st-century version of the Kennedys.

Meanwhile, Odom is also focused on his own ventures. Per TMZ, Odom launched Odom Senior Care last year. The program seeks to pair older individuals with pre-negotiated rates in retirement communities. Furthermore, Odom has already reached deals with two communities in Southern California – the Regency Palms in Oxnard and Long Beach. However, Odom’s goal is to work with 1000 communities across the nation. Additionally, Odom wanted to achieve his 1000-community goal by the end of 2023.

Furthermore, Odom stated that the inspiration for the project was his 96-year-old grandmother, Florence. Florence has reportedly lived in the same apartment in the Bronx for the past 70 years. Odom was inspired to start Odom Senior Care after struggling to find an affordable alternative for Florence. However, Florence reportedly remains resistant to the idea of moving from the apartment where she has spent the last 70 years of her life. However, Odom is confident that he will be able to find an equitable solution for Florence before too long.

Lamar Odom Advises Travis Kelce To “Be Strong” Amid Taylor Swift Romance

Lamar Odom has shared his advice for Travis Kelce now that he’s dating Taylor Swift. Speaking with The Messenger for a recent interview, the former NBA star, who previously dated Khloe Kardashian, told Kelce to “be strong.” and “stay by her.”

“My advice would be to be strong and stay by her and be as close to her as possible,” Odom told the outlet. “There are going to be millions of women that want to taste what Taylor Swift is tasting, and it can be overwhelming because we’re men. He just has to be strong and stick by his girl, and he’ll be all right.”

Additionally, the star tight end recently traveled to Buenos Aires to attend the singer’s Eras Tour show in November. During the performance, Swift changed the lyrics to her song, “Karma,” to shout out her boyfriend. She sang: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.” Afterwards, Kelce discussed the moment on his podcast, New Heights. “Yeah, no, had no clue. Well, I might have had a little bit of a clue but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, still shocked me. I was like, ‘Oh, shh,’ she really just said that,” Kelce admitted on the show.

Lamar Odom Involved In Car Crash, Smashes Up His Mercedes

Lamar Odom was involved in a car accident early Monday morning in a residential area near his home in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, Odom dropped his phone in the car while driving home from a friend’s place in Northridge. While reaching around to find it, he lost control and swerved into a parked car around 3:00 AM.

He hit the parked vehicle with enough force to propel it into another stationary car. The airbags deployed, but he wasn’t injured nor did he request medical assistance. As visible in TMZ’s photos of the accident, his white Mercedes is quite banged up.

The Los Angeles Police Department didn’t take a report while responding to the scene. Odom apparently explained he hadn’t been drinking and even owns his own rehab facilities. They did not feel the need to perform a field sobriety test and left after watching everyone involved exchange insurance information.

While he was sober during the recent incident, Odom has been vocal about his struggles with substance abuse in the past. Back in 2015, the former Los Angeles Lakers star was hospitalized after overdosing at a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada. He reportedly suffered kidney failure, several heart attacks, and 12 strokes, and was placed on life support before regaining consciousness. He and Khloe Kardashian had been going through the process of divorce at the time. In the wake of the incident, Khloe withdrew her filing, although had no intention of reconciling with Odom. After getting clean, Odom referred to himself as a “walking miracle” who had “cheated death.” He also admitted to US Weekly that his drug use made “the end of [his basketball] career come along a little faster.”

Lamar Odom Considering Coaching At His Alma Matter

Lamar Odom is potentially about to become the head coach for his former New York High School, according to a TMZ source. He has been in talks with Redemption Christian Academy, located in Troy, NY. The former L.A. Laker power forward is seriously considering the position after he reportedly reached out to the school back in June acquiring about the current head coach. School faculty asked if he would be willing to take up the position, in which he would start in August and coach for four months during winter basketball season.

Redemption Christian Academy is where Lamar Odom played for his senior high school year. Parade Magazine named him the National Player of the Year for that season, where he put up a gaudy average stat line of 25 points, 17 rebounds, 12 assists, and five blocks. He also went to the McDonald’s All-American game that year and was invited to the 1997 Magic Johnson Roundball Classic. He then was drafted by the L.A. Clippers with the fourth overall pick in 1999.

Lamar Odom & His Potential Coaching Prowess

Odom’s NBA career took a lot of twists and turns, both on and off the court. He played for four teams and with the Clippers twice to begin and end his time in the National Basketball Association. In the middle, he played the majority of his career in Los Angeles but as a Laker. In the purple-and-gold, Lamar Odom won two NBA Championships in 2009 and 2010, as well as a Sixth Man of the Year award in 2011. He was the first Laker to ever win that bench honor.

Lamar played in Europe and Dubai to end his professional basketball days. He played one game in the original Big3 season but was deactivated by the league after an abysmal performance. Despite the fizzling out at the end, Odom was a solid role player for over a decade in the NBA. Sources from TMZ say the school has given Lamar only a few weeks to decide whether he wants to coach at his alma matter. If he opts in, he’ll move to New York for the season. He’s also looking to continue with his business degree, which would help with his Odom Recovery Group.

Bam Magera To Enter Lamar Odom Rehab Facility

Last week, Magera was placed on a psychiatric hold after flying to LA and claiming that he was going to smoke crack until he died unless he saw his son. The detention came as a result of appeals from Magera’s family and the LAPD tracking his cell phone. After making contact with Magera at a taco restaurant, the former Jackass star was placed on a 5150 hold.

Former NBA star Lamar Odom reportedly visited Magera in the hospital on June 8. Odom, who has been very public about his own substance abuse struggles, owns three wellness and rehab centers. Two are located in southern California while a third is located in Kansas. Back in April, Odom offered Magera a place at one of his clinics free of charge after Magera turned himself into police after a four-day manhunt. However, he never went through with the treatment.

According to TMZ, Odom visited Magera in the hospital and once again offered him a place at one of his centers. This would come after the hold on Magera is lifted. According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Magera appeared received. The pair reportedly shared a hug in the hospital.

TMZ has since reported that Magera has been discharged from the hospital, with the hold being lifted. According to sources who spoke with the outlet, Magera was discharged directly in Odom’s care. He will spend a period of time at one of Odom’s facilities for an initial detox before moving to another of the former Laker’s facilities for a more long-term rehab stay.

Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom is being sued for his backed-up credit card debt.

According to The Blast, Odom is being sued by Credit Corp Solutions, a division of Citibank, stating the former basketball star owes $108,133.40 in credit card debt. After utilizing the credit cards, Odom reportedly “defaulted in making the required payments.”

Odom last made a payment to the court in January 2019. The company is suing simply for the amount of purchases and the costs of court.

Lamar Odom Invites Bam Margera To Rehab

Lamar Odom is the epitome of a mid-major college star. After putting up 17.6 points per game for Rhode Island in the 1998/99 NCAA season, Odom was selected fourth overall in the 1999 NBA Draft. He spent four years with the LA Clippers but was cut after injury derail his third and fourth seasons. After a year in Miami, he was traded to the Lakers. He would eventually retire in 2014.

Since leaving the NBA, Odom has devoted his time to God and helping others. He owns and operates three substance abuse rehabilitation centers in Southern California. Having faced with own battle with substance abuse, Odom is now looking to help people in the same situation. And now he’s making headlines in the case of former Jackass star Bam Margera.

Lamar Odom Wants To Help Bam Margera

Bam Margera’s issues with substance abuse, specifically alcohol, have been public for many years. As recently as March 2023, he was arrested for public intoxication. However, Margera re-entered the news recently after triggering a police manhunt. Police in Pennsylvania were called to a property in Pocopson after Bam reportedly assaulted his brother and threatened to kill him. Margera turned himself in after four days on the run. He has been charged with simple assault, harassment, and terroristic threats. Margera has maintained his innocent in all charges against him. Now Odom is offering help to the former MTV star. Speaking with TMZ, Odom said he would be happy to invite Margera to one of his rehab facilities free of charge.

Odom is no stranger to substance abuse problems, having famously overdosed in a Nevada brothel in 2015. That is the incident that inspired him to get clean and help others on their own journey. “All he has to do is show up,” Odom said when asked if he would be willing to help Margera, “Only if he wants it though, that’s the most important part,” Odom continued. He concluded by saying that he loved Margera and that he should “stay strong”. It remains to be if Margera will accept the offer. It was reportedly a rehab plan that led to the confrontation between Margera and his brother last week. However, Odom has made it clear that he wants to help.
