Ray J & Sukihana Buy Out Chanel Following Tronix Network Launch

Ray J may have just announced the end of his relationship with Princess Love for the fourth time, but that doesn’t mean the performer is spending his days alone. Earlier this week, he linked up with none other than Sukihana, marking the start of his single era with a straightforward message. “Now that I’m free and I can do what I want, stop complaining,” he stated. “All you going to see is bad b**ches and pu**y.”

Aside from that, he’s also embarked on an exciting new career endeavor with the launch of Tronix Network. Suki will even executive produce her own show on the network, Little Coochies of Las Vegas. To celebrate, the duo recently went on a serious shopping spree, shutting down Chanel and getting swarmed by paparazzi.

In a clip from the outing, Suki and Ray J are seen walking out of the store giddily, her arms lined with shopping bags. “It ain’t no more bags left y’all,” she told photographers. “We got everything.” While it remains unclear exactly what viewers can expect to see on Little Coochies of Las Vegas, it’s safe to say it’ll be wild. Ray J’s even urged Chrisean Rock to consider doing something with the network, though it’s unconfirmed whether or not she’s interested.

The series isn’t the only thing Suki’s celebrating these days either. The Delaware-born artist is still reveling in the success of her single with Vybz Kartel, “Pilates.” The track even recently reached No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes reggae chart. Kendrick Lamar Clowned By Fans For New Selfie, Some Say He Has “0 Aura”

Kendrick Lamar has given fans plenty of reason to praise him over the years. He’s got highly acclaimed classics in his back catalog like To Pimp A Butterfly and Good Kid m.A.A.d City. After taking a 5-year absence from releasing studio albums he returned in 2022 with Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. The album was a huge hit both critically and commercially and the tour that followed received rave reviews from fans in attendance. Even other artists can’t help but praise him. Kid Cudi recently shouted out one of the rapper’s excellent live shows as inspiration for the direction of his new album.

But one thing fans aren’t praising is a new selfie Kendrick shared. The picture itself is pretty simple. It’s an up-close and personal shot of Kendrick’s face while he’s sporting a furry hat accessorized by some gold Chanel pins. The picture is strikingly silly and fans took to the comments to joke along. “How old n*ggas take pictures when they first get a iPhone” one of the top comments jokes. “0 aura. Kendrick Lamar has had a pretty busy past few days coinciding with Paris Fashion Week. He appeared at the Chanel fashion show alongside some other stars like Naomi Campbell and Baby Keem. Additionally one of his unreleased songs was even used to soundtrack part of the show. An entirely different song was used in a short film released by the fashion staple in tandem with their newest show.

Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale live concert film has also been a massive critical darling. Kendrick Lamar’s Fashion Week Fit For Chanel’s Runway Includes Adidas Crazy 8’s & Denim

From the early days of his career, Kendrick Lamar has always been in a league of his own. The Compton native remains the only rapper to hold the honour of a Pulitzer Prize for his work on DAMN. Though he’s kept relatively quiet on the music front lately, he’s certainly keeping his presence felt overseas for Paris Fashion Week. Earlier this week, Lamar shared a new song in tandem with Chanel. The brand is using it to soundtrack a short film teasing today’s (January 23) runway presentation.

As Elle reports, the Spring/Summer 2024 collection was “an ode to the Chanel jacket,” which the father of two wore while sitting front row. On his Finstagram account this morning, Lamar showed off his posh black and white button-up. He wore it with light-wash jeans and a white tee. The brand is known for popularizing timeless accessories like pearls, some of which Kung-Fu Keny wore on his hat for the special occasion. “no bunk skunk. dave ghetto scorsese. hand shakes n hugs to pg lang. on kenzel washington,” he wrote in the caption of his photo dump.

On his feet, Lamar notably wore a fresh pair of Adidas sneakers, earning him love from followers. “Ni**a wore Crazy 8’s to Chanel show. Compton ni**as better,” a fellow Californian wrote in the rapper’s comments. “You and Dave not playing fair!!!” someone else chimed in, referring to Dave Free who also had the privilege of sitting front row.

Kendrick Lamar Uses New Song To Score Chanel Short Film

Kendrick Lamar and his creative agency with Dave Free, pgLang, are credited with servicing Chanel’s new short film in promotion of the brand’s Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture. While Lamar soundtracked the piece with a new song, Free wrote and directed the video. The full film of the Chanel Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture show will release on Tuesday, January 23.

Sharing the promotional clip on Instagram, Saturday, Free wrote: “At the invitation of Virginie Viard, Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free meet the world of CHANEL Haute Couture for the first time, bringing to life a story about time and transmission. Actress and House ambassador Margaret Qualley plunges us into the tale ‘The Button’ alongside actress and House ambassador Anna Mouglalis, as well as friend of the House Naomi Campbell.” Kenny Beats, Karrueche, and more shared praise in the comments section.

The new song is Lamar’s first solo work since his 2022 album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. In the time since, he’s focused on collaborative efforts with Baby Keem, including “The Hillbillies.” He’s also worked with Taylor Swift for the rerecorded version of her song, “Bad Blood,” as well as Beyonce for her single, “America Has a Problem.” He and Free launched pgLang in 2020 following Lamar’s departure from Top Dawg Entertainment. In a mission statement from the time, the company said: “PGLang is focused on using our experiences, and nurturing our many collaborators, to build stories that are equally accessible and engaging then fitting them within the best media.” Check out their work on Chanel’s latest project below.

Kendrick Lamar usually waits a few years between releasing new work. But thanks to the “Rich Spirit” rapper’s creative service company, PgLang, which he runs with Dave Free, he’s making an exception. On January 20, in a joint upload to Instagram, the company unveiled their latest creative endeavor with high-fashion house Chanel.

Chanel shared the official trailer for their forthcoming short film, The Button, starring Margaret Qualley, Anna Mouglalis, and Naomi Campbell, which is written and directed by Free. The ad features what seems to be an unreleased track from Lamar.

As Qualley searches for her missing fastener, Lamar’s record hypes up the viewer as they prepare to join the actress in her quest. On pgLang’s official Instagram, the company provided a synopsis of the collaboration:

Drake Gives Fan Chanel Bag After She Reveals How Many Brazilian Waxes She Did To Buy Tour Tickets

Compared to his contemporaries, Drake has been incredibly jealous in terms of giving back to his fans. This is more evident than ever amid his It’s All a Blur tour, which has seen him and 21 Sav travelling across North America for the better part of the summer. The duo will be continuing on into the fall, though they’re currently sounding out their two-night stint in Houston on Monday (September 18) evening. Not every single concert has seen Drake reward select patrons, but so far, he’s been generous to a handful of lucky attendees in major ways.

Not only did the Canadian offer to pay back one fan who used their furniture money to buy concert tickets but he’s also been handing out Chanel bags to a few lucky women in the crowd. During a recent performance, the Scorpion artist caught sight of one handmade sign from up on stage with a woman revealing how much gruelling work she had to do in order to get her hands on It’s All a Blur passes.

“I had to wax 50 pu**ies for these Drake tickets,” the concert attendee wrote. “That’s cr*zy,” the 36-year-old said after reading her sign. “That’s a lot of pu**ies to wax.” After admiring her dedication, he ordered his crew to give her a Chanel bag as a reward for her efforts as the crowd cheered on.

Though he initially said For All The Dogs might land in August, Drake is now promising that October 6 is the official release date for his album. We’ve received one single in the form of “Slime You Out” featuring SZA so far, and we also know that Nicki Minaj is set to appear on the project. Aside from that, the 6ix God has hinted that we’ll be hearing from the “old Drake” within his work. Drake Gifts Fan A Chanel Bag During Vegas Show

After a brief stop in Canada, the It’s All a Blur tour has returned to the United States. As the tour enters its final full month, Drake kicked things off in Sin City. While more highlights of the night are likely to emerge, especially if any bras made it onto the stage. However, the current concert clip doing the rounds shows an act of kindness from the Canadian rapper.

During the concert, Drake paused to gift a fan standing near the stage a gold-colored Chanel bag. It’s unclear what led up to this interaction, which was originally posted to TikTok by the user “laurennoelmiller”. It’s unclear if Miller is the woman receiving the bag in the video. Regardless, it’s a moment that that fan is not going to forget for a long time.

Of course, as with every tour stop, there have been plenty of Drake antics as of late. On the more positive end of the spectrum, Drizzy gave away concert tickets from a scavenger hunt on his official website. Fans were encouraged to explore various pages of the website to find parts of a code that led to a chance to win free tickets for the tour. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is seriously ready for For All The Dogs to come out. Minaj reportedly has a feature on the album. According to Drake, the album will be out soon, though he declined to give an actual release date.

However, not all of the viral moments have been as positive. While not directly related to the tour, a snippet from For All The Dogs was released online. In it, Drake can be heard saying “I should probably be in there with Thug and them” on the partially leaked track. The snippet got some pushback from fans, who disliked Drake’s fairly clean persona and career privilege being compared to the very real criminal charges being faced by Young Thug and company in the YSL trial.

Kendrick Lamar Attends Chanel Fashion Show In Paris

Kendrick Lamar turned heads with his outfit at Chanel Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023/2024 show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. Attending the event, he was welcomed as a guest of honor of Karl Lagerfeld’s successor Virginie Viard. He rocked a full Chanel outfit, encompassing a bandana, cap, glasses, tweed jacket, pearl necklace, and monogrammed jeans– all of which were Chanel branded. Perhaps most notably, the entire outfit was comprised of womenswear.

Fans had mixed responses to the look once it made its way to social media. “I thought Kendrick said take off designer clothes.. more specifically take that shit off! Lol,” one fan commented on an Instagram post from 2Cool2Blog. Another wrote: “N****s get rich and start dressing like weirdos.”

One Instagram user drew parallels to Drake recently painting his fingernails pink. “The energy in the comments seem different with K. Dot rocking pearls and a woman’s blazer vs Drake getting his finger nails painted,” they commented. “Fascinating! HA!”

Lamar was also far from the only high-profile celebrity in attendance at the Chanel event. Lupita Nyong’o was also there wearing a pair of shorts with a sleeveless top in matching lilac. The two, who both collaborated on the Black Panther film, posed for a photograph together. Many fans also took to the comments to do exactly what fans always do, ask for new music. A new single that Cardi reportedly teased was coming out today never materialized, and her fans didn’t let her forget it.

Anderson .Paak shared a clip of himself dancing along to Snoop Dogg’s performance at the Chanel fashion show on May 9. The clip shows .Paak hyping up his fellow rapper as he performed the iconic track “The Next Episode,” originally performed alongside Dr. Dre, Kurupt, and Nate Dogg. The rapper seemed in great spirits as he supported Snoop Dogg, as the two have worked together in the past. The afterparty for the Chanel Cruise Collection fashion show took place at Paramount studios in Los Angeles. Other celebrity appearances included Tracee Ellis Ross, Lil Nas X, Margot Robbie and more.

.Paak worked alongside Cordae in the J. Cole-produced track, “Two Tens,” in January. Cordae shared with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1 how .Paak is “[his] real friend, like [his] brother.” NxWorries, .Paak’s project with producer Knxwledge announced their first performance together in five years, in March. NxWorries will perform at the Prospect Park Bandshell in June. They will be joined by Lalah Hathaway & Bilal, Robert Glasper, and BJ The Chicago Kid. The duo teased more upcoming music after their first release in years last fall, but we have yet to see any new releases.

Snoop Dogg spoke as a panelist earlier this week at the 2023 Milken Institute Global Conference. He joined CEO and Gamma founder, Larry Jackson. He made his thoughts on streaming clear, saying, “[Streaming is] exciting but streaming gotta get their s**t together.” The rapper added that he “[doesn’t]understand how the f**k you get paid off that s**t.” Additionally, he spoke at the conference about his experience speaking with an A.I. model. He said the experience “[blew] his mind,” adding, “I got a motherf***in’ A.I. right now.” Snoop Dogg also recently appeared on the talk show Undisputed. He gifted the hosts, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless, with chains featuring his label’s logo.
