Damson Idris Spoils Lori Harvey With Roses During Milan Trip

You know what they say – absence makes the heart grow fonder. That certainly seems to be the case for Damson Idris and Lori Harvey, who have spent a significant amount of time apart this month due to their respective commitments. Being apart from your partner is hard, but luckily, the lovers were able to cross a major relationship milestone together recently – their red carpet debut. At the premiere of the actor’s Snowfall series’ sixth season, he was joined by the model, who looked as radiant as ever.

Social media users couldn’t dispute the hair’s obvious good looks. What they did argue, however, was the chemistry between the pair, which some say is seemingly non-existence. In response to the hate comments, Harvey clapped back on Instagram. She said that her distant body language was to protect her man’s expensive suit from the makeup on her skin, and over the weekend, she proved how thoughtful of a boyfriend he can be.

Damson Tears Up Trinidad’s Carnival

For his part, Idris took a trip to the islands of Trinidad and Tobago this February to celebrate the nation’s famous Carnival. Nicki Minaj was also in attendance for this year’s events and even gave her first performance in such time, much to patron’s pleasure. The English star clearly enjoyed his vacation and partying, as he chiefly declared on Instagram that he wants to buy a home there ASAP.

“I need a Trini real talk, ’bout to buy a crib here,” he told his followers. “Even the air taste good,” Idris noted, after markedly praising Trinidad’s delicious food and drinks. His only problems, it seems, are the mosquitos who “treat [him] like Popeyes,” and the lack of his girlfriend’s presence.

Lori Takes Milan Fashion Week

On the other side of the world, Harvey spent this past weekend in Milan, Italy. Like many others, she was invited to show support at a designer runway. Creative Director Rhuigi Villaseñor requested the Memphis native’s presence at his presentation, where she sat in the front row alongside a slew of celebrities. DDG was present (following his appearance at Gucci’s F/W ’23 collection with Halle Bailey), as was TikTok sensation Dixie D’Amelio.

While he couldn’t join her on the trip, Idris made sure to keep his girl smiling with a romantic delivery during her travels. On her IG Story, Harvey posted a huge collection of red roses, as well as a note reading, “I love and miss you.” In barely visible text near the bottom, she wrote, “My man, my man, my mannn,” tagging her beau to show him some love. Ice Spice Fan Tries To Give Her Roses, She Turns Him Down

Ice Spice recently turned down a fan who tried to give the “Munch” hitmaker a bouquet of roses. While the poor guy’s gotta feel some type of way about it, at least he got so close to the rapper in the first place. Moreover, she gave a short performance at the Tia Adeola x Bowery Showroom NYFW afterparty at Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Hotel Ballroom on Saturday (February 11). As she walked inside the venue, a fan practically got on their knees and became the latest to try with the 23-year-old. However, she simply gave him a smile, said something unintelligible, and kept on walking in the viral clip.

Even thought she laughed at the exchange, hopefully it was more out of kindness than malice. Still, it didn’t prepare her for the monsoon of fans that she faced in that ballroom. In fact, things got so crowded that she had to stop her performance and ask people to back up. While the DJ and scant security tried to help, Spice herself had to push some people off. It’s also not the first controversial moment to happen at nightclubs with dominant female rappers this week. Funny how specific news trends can get, huh? Moreover, GloRilla recently addressed fans who threw water at her at an Oakland club where they thought she was going to perform. However, she and the event promoter made it clear that some issues remained unresolved.

Meanwhile, hip-hop-related comedian Druski recently made his own play on the Bronx native to controversial results. While they had an Instagram Live session together, he asked Spice to DM him her number. After she plugged her then-new track “In Ha Mood” and left the call, Druski’s comments took many aback. “We don’t give a f**k about that song. B***h, DM me,” he laughed. “I don’t give a f**k about that song, baby girl. DM me. Um, yeah. Yeah, we’ll see.” Later, when talking to Shannon Sharpe, he clarified some of his feelings.

“I was trying to get with Ice Spice,” he told Shannon Sharpe, “I still haven’t got the chance. I tried, I didn’t get her number. Like I said, you gotta let it come to you. At the end of the day, I’m the prize.” Whether you think he has a chance or not, come back to HNHH for the latest on Ice Spice.

Deante Hitchcock Pushes Through Hard Times In His Freestyle Over Outkast’s ‘Roses’

There’s no doubt Deante Hitchcock has something big planned in the future. The Atlanta rapper has spent the last month releasing very impressive freestyles over hip-hop tracks from today and yesterday, and for his latest offering he took on Outkast’s 2004 classic “Roses,” with an accompanying video. It finds Deante posing as a homeless man who aims to make ends meet. Despite his character’s hardships, he proclaims that one day he’ll reach the heights of some of today’s favorites in music, like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, and Young Thug.

The new video serves as the fourth consecutive entry in Deante’s New Atlanta Tuesdays freestyle series. He started things off with some bars over Lil Wayne’s “Let The Build Beat,” which arrived with a video that saw him carrying a goat. He returned a week later with a wild freestyle over SpotemGottem’s “Beat Box” and his own submission to the song’s TikTok-bred challenge. Most recently, Deante engaged in an all-out Nerf gun war while rapping over Drake’s No. 1 single and Scary Hours 2 favorite “What’s Next.”

Prior to the New Atlanta Tuesdays series, Deante shared a live version of his debut album, Better, and released videos of the performances with it.

You can watch the video for the new freestyle above.
