Now, Althoff will add yet another name to her list of exciting interviews, Wiz Khalifa. She took to social media today to announce the episode, also sharing a short preview of the interview. In the brief clip, the rapper explains that his life revolves around his son. “I work for him,” he says, and confusion ensues.
“You work for him?” Althoff asks, looking bewildered, “What’s his job?” He then clarifies that he simply means his son inspires him to work hard every day. “He’s the reason that I work,” he describes, to which she replies, “That’s a better way to say it.” Clearly, the rest of the conversation should be pretty interesting. Fans in Althoff’s comments are already sharing their predictions for the interview, which drops tomorrow (February 20). Of course, plenty of commenters think that the two of them could discuss or even enjoy one of the things Wiz Khalifa is known best for, weed.
It appears as though those viewers might not be far off, based on a comment Wiz Khalifa left on the video. “I hope you still got some joints in that box i gave you,” he wrote. “I walked into his house and it was super awkward because he’s really like kind of awkward. And, I’ve heard that going into it, but me with another awkward person is like– I think it’s because you guys aren’t awkward, maybe that’s why. Because he was awkward,” Althoff began. “I walked into his house. He didn’t even like say hi to me. So, then I was like, ‘let’s go to the bathroom.’ So, then we go to the bathroom and then, we like get out and he’s just sitting there with his two assistants and he’s not even acknowledging that I’m in the room. My camera guy is setting up and I’m just sitting there on my phone. And then he comes up and is like ‘oh, hi,’ and gives me a half-hug and I’m just like, ‘hi,’ then he goes back to sit.”

In the beginning of the video, Will Freeark leaves a duffle bag filled to the brim with $5K outside of the hotel they’re shooting at. He includes a note on the bag, asking “Can I trust you?” and advising it’s finder to return it to the hotel. Luckily for him, Althoff was right around the corner. When she returns the bag, they invite her to be a part of the video, and she reluctantly agrees. She even makes a cameo in the music video, mouthing a few lines of “Jealousy” and playing the role of a bandit.

Though the rapper appears to have annoyed Althoff with his complaints about the heat, use of a personal fan, and reluctance to become her assistant, it’s yet another successful high-profile interview added to her list.
Offset and Cardi B released “Jealousy” at the end of last month, just after some recent online drama. Offset took to social media to accuse Cardi of cheating on him, which she of course denies. In June, Althoff interviewed Funny Marco. Apparently, Drake was a fan of what he saw, liking clips of the interview and eventually following Althoff on Instagram. After discovering that Drake was into her content, she decided to take a chance and ask him if he wanted to be interviewed. “I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot. I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes,” she explained. “He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew that I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”
Elsewhere in her Cosmopolitan interview, Althoff revealed how she prepares to sit down with all these celebs. “There’s no prep,” she explained, “and that’s the fun of it.” She continued, “I think that’s why celebrities are down to do it. They know it’s a character, and we just wing it. It’s not a real interview. I’m not trying to get hard-hitting information about you — I’m not trying to uncover anything. It’s just a conversation. It’s really a parody of a good interview.”

The interview comes after Althoff remarked that she didn’t know who the rapper was while speaking with Drake, last month. Althoff shared a snippet of the episode on Instagram, Monday.

In the clip, Tyga complains about it being too hot and uses multiple fans to cool off. In her caption, Althoff is referencing the aforementioned Drake interview and a viral clip that stemmed from it. “What’s your favorite Tyga song?” Drake asked in the interview. “Is he married to Kylie Jenner? Is that the guy that dated [her]?” Bobbi asked in response, to which Drake answers, “Yeah, maybe before the iPhone or something. However, the funniest part of the clip, the influencer asks the musician, “Do you think it’s funny when your reference your own song? People could use that word, and it doesn’t mean your song.”
Drake replied in-between laughter, “I just thought that you were ending the interview on a note where you were like, ‘Haha, I do know your songs.’ You were just asking for a flight.”
“No, I don’t know your songs,” Althoff admits, much to Drake’s dismay.
Althoff hasn’t revealed when the full interview will be uploaded, but her followers have promised to tune in.
