Wiz Khalifa & Bobbi Althoff Hilariously Argue In Upcoming Interview Snippet

Since her interviews with Funny Marco and Drake went viral in 2023, Bobbi Althoff has gone on to secure various high-profile interviews. The Really Good Podcast host has chatted with the likes of Lil Yachty, Tyga, Offset, and more. She even sat down with Sukihana earlier this month, which made for an expectedly interesting and hilarious conversation.

Now, Althoff will add yet another name to her list of exciting interviews, Wiz Khalifa. She took to social media today to announce the episode, also sharing a short preview of the interview. In the brief clip, the rapper explains that his life revolves around his son. “I work for him,” he says, and confusion ensues.

Wiz Khalifa Says He “Works For His Son,” Leaving Bobbi Althoff Confused

“You work for him?” Althoff asks, looking bewildered, “What’s his job?” He then clarifies that he simply means his son inspires him to work hard every day. “He’s the reason that I work,” he describes, to which she replies, “That’s a better way to say it.” Clearly, the rest of the conversation should be pretty interesting. Fans in Althoff’s comments are already sharing their predictions for the interview, which drops tomorrow (February 20). Of course, plenty of commenters think that the two of them could discuss or even enjoy one of the things Wiz Khalifa is known best for, weed.

It appears as though those viewers might not be far off, based on a comment Wiz Khalifa left on the video. “I hope you still got some joints in that box i gave you,” he wrote. Are you looking forward to Wiz Khalifa’s interview on The Really Good Podcast? What else do you think they’ll chat about? Who do you want to see Bobbi Althoff interview next? Bobbi Althoff Criticized For Seemingly Treating White Guests Differently To Her Black Guests After Scarlett Johansson Clips Emerge

Bobbi Althoff is facing accusations of racism following the release of promotional clips for her interview with Scarlett Johansson. Specifically, Althoff has been criticized for seemingly being a lot more personable and engaging with Johansson compared to her previous viral interviews with Drake, Shaq, and Offset. While Althoff maintains her deadpan style in the Johansson clips, there is less of her now-signature stand-off demeanor that drove the engagement to her previous interviews.

Althoff, who has gone from TikTok momfluencer to the most-debated content creator on the internet, is not for everyone. Her interview style, which primarily centers on doing very little research on her subjects, has been negatively compared to the likes of Nardwuar. Many Black creators have publicly announced that they no longer want to speak on Althoff as it only drives more attention to her. However, the mother of two still has millions of fans who eager lap up her content.

Offset Wanted To Give Althoff A “Taste Of Her Own Medicine”

One of the most notable examples of Althoff’s strategy backfiring came in her interview with Offset. While the interview has been deemed as being “awkward” and “negative”, Offset said that the experience was overall positive. However, he explained that he had done his research on her before going into the interview. That way, when she tried to hit him with an awkward question, he shot one right back at her. “If you ask me a crazy question, I’m gonna reverse it on you,” Offset told Ebro in a recent interview.

However, the Offset interview also just showcased how flimsy Althoff’s premise is. She looked lost and almost defensive throughout the interview. It’s why many people have said that Althoff wishes she was Nardwuar, who prepares almost religiously for every interview and spends weeks, if not longer, trying to find an organic avenue for approaching his subject. But now Althoff must contend with the reality that her content plays very differently among different audiences.

Why Did Drake Unfollow Bobbi Althoff?

Bobbi Althoff’s rise to the mainstream seemed sudden. Some knew of her quirky humor from social media, but her successful pivot to podcasting was unexpected. Her interview with Funny Marco generated viral moments, and then came the surprising episode featuring Drake. The Canadian rapper appeared on The Really Good Podcast last month for a rare interview, causing a stir in hip-hop media. Drake’s choice to sit down with a goofy podcaster instead of a legitimate journalist raised eyebrows, given that he rarely does press.

While the internet buzzed about Bobbi’s connection with Drake, fans speculated on a possible rift. Shortly after Bobbi shared a less-than-flattering post about Drake’s L.A. concert, fans noticed they unfollowed each other and she removed their interview from her channel. So, what transpired exactly?

The Controversial Concert Post

Currently, no one has confirmed any discord between them. Still, numerous theories circulate about the fallout. The timing between Bobbi’s post from the It’s All A Blur tour and the deletion of their YouTube video could suggest Drake took offense. Other hints indicate more at play, especially since Lil Yachty did the same.

Bobbi’s BFF Podcast Appearance

Bobbi Althoff spilled details about her Drake and Lil Yachty interviews on Barstool Sports’ BFF podcast with Dave Portnoy. She shared how she secured the Drake interview (apparently, a simple DM worked) and described her awkward encounter with Lil Yachty before their talk. Yachty, being the same age, was easy to converse with, she explained, but he barely engaged before filming began.

“I walked into [Lil Yachty’s] house and he didn’t really even say hi to me,” Bobbi recalled. “I was like, ‘Let’s go to the bathroom.’ We go to the bathroom then we get out and he’s sitting there with his two assistants and he’s not even acknowledging that I’m in the room.”

While not overtly contentious, this comment didn’t cast Lil Yachty in a positive light. While it might not fully explain Drake’s unfollowing, both he and Yachty distanced themselves, possibly due to Bobbi’s transparency.

The Ice Spice Treatment

Drake’s unfollowing of an up-and-coming woman isn’t new. In 2022, he embraced Ice Spice, even flying her to Toronto for OVO Fest. Though they made amends, he did unfollow her at one point. One theory involved Ice Spice declining an OVO Sound deal. Others suggested that she turned down his advances. These speculations resurfaced after the Drake/Bobbi Althoff incident.

Similarly, Drake and Bobbi Althoff were linked to rumors of an affair. After she unarchived posts with her husband, Cory Althoff, the internet weaved a narrative, fueled by a clip of Dave Portnoy discussing the rumors that they split. Despite this, Bobbi denied rumors of a divorce and that she and Drake slept together. The exact reasons for her and Drake’s unfollowing remain unclear.

A Publicity Stunt?

The likeliest explanation for the fallout could be a marketing scheme to generate buzz. Questions arose about how Bobbi swiftly landed a Drake interview after launching her podcast, leading to industry plant accusations. However, during her Lil Yachty interview, it surfaced that Drake’s team filmed the episode, suggesting that he had creative control over the final product.

Not a widespread theory, but worth pondering: Drake granted Bobbi a window for the podcast on her YouTube page. No evidence supports this, yet the simultaneous removal of the episode from YouTube and Spotify alongside their unfollowing might suggest non-malicious intent. Perhaps, the interview’s creative control was prearranged.

Conclusion

Between industry plant claims and the apparent Drake fallout, Bobbi Althoff faces her first controversy after a swift ascent. She showcased her humor with Funny Marco and soared higher with the Drake interview. Despite this, it might not be a defining moment. With a legion of fans who fell in love with her personality as a momfluencer on TikTok, there’s no doubt that the Really Good Podcast will continue to grow in the foreseeable future. Hopefully, her interview with Drake will eventually be re-released on YouTube.

Bobbi Althoff Says Lil Yachty Was “Super Awkward” During Their Interview

Bobbi Althoff says that Lil Yachty was “super awkward” ahead of their recent interview and that she nearly bailed. The viral TikToker reflected on the experience during a recent podcast appearance, as caught by DJ Akademiks.

“I walked into his house and it was super awkward because he’s really like kind of awkward. And, I’ve heard that going into it, but me with another awkward person is like– I think it’s because you guys aren’t awkward, maybe that’s why. Because he was awkward,” Althoff began. “I walked into his house. He didn’t even like say hi to me. So, then I was like, ‘let’s go to the bathroom.’ So, then we go to the bathroom and then, we like get out and he’s just sitting there with his two assistants and he’s not even acknowledging that I’m in the room. My camera guy is setting up and I’m just sitting there on my phone. And then he comes up and is like ‘oh, hi,’ and gives me a half-hug and I’m just like, ‘hi,’ then he goes back to sit.”

She continued: “I’m just like dude I don’t even want to do this. I’m texting my friend like, ‘Ashley, I need to leave this is so awkward. What am I doing here?” From there, her friend recommended she lean into the awkwardness during the interview, which Bobbi did. “So, it actually worked out,” she concluded. Bobbi Althoff Joins Offset’s Video Shoot, Makes Off With $5K

In a new YouTube video posted by setwillfree, Bobbi Althoff pulls up to his music video shoot with Offset. In the beginning of the video, Will Freeark leaves a duffle bag filled to the brim with $5K outside of the hotel they’re shooting at. He includes a note on the bag, asking “Can I trust you?” and advising it’s finder to return it to the hotel. Luckily for him, Althoff was right around the corner. When she returns the bag, they invite her to be a part of the video, and she reluctantly agrees. She even makes a cameo in the music video, mouthing a few lines of “Jealousy” and playing the role of a bandit.

Bobbi Althoff has been blowing up as of late for her hilarious interviews. So much in fact that she’s recently been accused of being an industry plant, which she denies. Her unique take on interviewing has the internet in a headlock. She first went viral for her interview with Drake last month, which has more than 10 million views at the time of writing. She later moved on to sit down with Lil Yachty and most recently, Tyga. In this new video, viewers can even see Althoff momentarily break her famous aloof character.

Bobbi Althoff At Offset’s “Jealousy” Shoot

Yesterday, Althoff dropped her latest interview with Tyga. The duo sat down at a zoo, taking turns feeding a porcupine. Though the rapper appears to have annoyed Althoff with his complaints about the heat, use of a personal fan, and reluctance to become her assistant, it’s yet another successful high-profile interview added to her list.

Offset and Cardi B released “Jealousy” at the end of last month, just after some recent online drama. Offset took to social media to accuse Cardi of cheating on him, which she of course denies. It’s unclear whether or not that was simply a stunt to promote the new collab, however, it seems possible. They were even able to secure Jamie Lee Curtis for a cameo in the accompanying music video.

Bobbi Althoff Shares How She Secured Her Viral Drake Interview

During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, comedian Bobbi Althoff revealed how she was able to secure her famous interview with Drake. The interview blew up immediately after its release a few weeks back, raking in over 10 million views since. The 26-year-old’s podcast, The Really Good Podcast, had only been around since April of this year, but Drake’s episode catapulted her to fame.

She’s since gone on to post interviews with Lil Yachty and Mark Cuban, and is even scheduled to sit down with Tyga next. Althoff’s deadpan humor and aloof attitude make for some of the funniest videos yet. After all, who doesn’t want to see their favorite artists in an incredibly awkward situation. With that being said, Althoff has sparked some debate as to how she managed to land a performer as huge as Drake when she was just starting out. Rumors have been circulating that she’s an industry plant, however, she denies this. According to Althoff, she simply slid into his DMs.

Bobbi Althoff “Decided To Just Go For It”

In June, Althoff interviewed Funny Marco. Apparently, Drake was a fan of what he saw, liking clips of the interview and eventually following Althoff on Instagram. After discovering that Drake was into her content, she decided to take a chance and ask him if he wanted to be interviewed. “I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot. I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes,” she explained. “He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew that I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”

Elsewhere in her Cosmopolitan interview, Althoff revealed how she prepares to sit down with all these celebs. “There’s no prep,” she explained, “and that’s the fun of it.” She continued, “I think that’s why celebrities are down to do it. They know it’s a character, and we just wing it. It’s not a real interview. I’m not trying to get hard-hitting information about you — I’m not trying to uncover anything. It’s just a conversation. It’s really a parody of a good interview.

Tyga Links With Bobbi Althoff For New Interview

Bobbi Althoff has confirmed that Tyga will be the guest on the next episode of her popular show, The Really Good Podcast. The interview comes after Althoff remarked that she didn’t know who the rapper was while speaking with Drake, last month. Althoff shared a snippet of the episode on Instagram, Monday.

“I finally learned who @tyga was / new episode of The Really Good Podcast coming Thursday,” Althoff captioned the video. In the clip, Tyga complains about it being too hot and uses multiple fans to cool off. One follower commented: “Why I’m getting the feeling he was low key flirting.” Another added: “If she looks at the camera like Pam from the office I’ll lose my mind lmao. That’s all that was missing from this dry masterpiece.”

In her caption, Althoff is referencing the aforementioned Drake interview and a viral clip that stemmed from it. “What’s your favorite Tyga song?” Drake asked in the interview. “Is he married to Kylie Jenner? Is that the guy that dated [her]?” Bobbi asked in response, to which Drake answers, “Yeah, maybe before the iPhone or something. That’s such ancient gossip.” “Does he sing?” Bobbi continues. “I don’t know who that is.” From there, Drake plays her a snippet of Tyga’s song, “Rack City.” Check out the preview of Althoff’s upcoming conversation with Tyga on Instagram below.

Drake & Bobbi Althoff’s Upcoming ‘The Really Good’ Interview Clip Is Awkward And Cringey, But Certainly Worth A Watch

Drake, can you do something for me? Get rid of your uncomfortable Drake-isms for me. The “Search & Rescue” rapper’s forthcoming appearance on TikTok influencer Bobbi Althoff’s The Really Good podcast will be awkward and cringey, as the teaser clip suggests, but it’s certainly worth a watch.

Following the satirical interview format made popular by creators such as Funny Marco, the pair engage in one of the most uncomfortable conversations we’ll see this week.

The clip opens with Althoff confessing, “I don’t know any other questions.” After a short exchange, the duo seemingly begins to flirt, and they get more comfortable under the sheets of the bed they share.

However, the funniest part of the clip, the influencer asks the musician, “Do you think it’s funny when your reference your own song? People could use that word, and it doesn’t mean your song.”

Drake replied in-between laughter, “I just thought that you were ending the interview on a note where you were like, ‘Haha, I do know your songs.’ You were just asking for a flight.”

“No, I don’t know your songs,” Althoff admits, much to Drake’s dismay.

Althoff hasn’t revealed when the full interview will be uploaded, but her followers have promised to tune in.
