PnB Rock Gives An Upbeat Performance Of ‘Zaza’ For ‘UPROXX Sessions’

PnB Rock’s new EP 2 Get You Thru The Rain drops this week, and to get you hype, he stopped by UPROXX Sessions to deliver an upbeat performance of one of the project’s six all-new songs, “Zaza.”

The Philadelphia rapper has been relatively quiet since releasing his 2019 album TrapStar Turnt PopStar, but hasn’t been completely silent in the past couple of years though. Earlier this year, he teamed up with King Von’s crew to release the video for “Rose Gold,” and more recently, he, Pink Sweats, and Swae Lee collaborated on the song “Forever Never.” 2 Get You Thru The Rain is set to feature DJ Luke Nasty on the previously released “High,” as well as Lil Baby and Young Thug on “Eyes Open.”

Pnb Rock Was Sentenced To Probation For A 2019 Arrest On Marijuana And Gun Charges

Nearly two years after he was arrested on marijuana and gun charges, Pnb Rock has been sentenced. According to CBS 3 Philly, the rapper will spend the next three years on probation after pleading guilty in court. The charge was one count of receiving stolen property and one count of possession with intent to deliver. For each charge, he received 36 months of probation, but it was decided that the probations will run concurrently. He will also complete 100 hours of community service and have his supervision transferred to California, after receiving permission to do so.

According to Complex, Pnb Rock was originally hit with the charges after Bensalem, PA Police opened an investigation in 2018 after they received multiple complaints about loud parties and the smell of marijuana from the rapper’s residence. This gave the officers probable cause to search his house, and on January 20, 2019, a search warrant was executed by The Special Investigations Unit. The search resulted in the confiscation of nearly five pounds of marijuana, multiple scales, packaging materials, a stolen .40-caliber handgun, and $33,000 in cash.

After the arrest, Pnb denied the allegations during an Instagram Live session. “I don’t know what the f*ck they was talking about,” he proclaimed. “It wasn’t me! What the f*ck? I look like I’m selling drugs? Never!”

PnB Rock Puts His Life On The Line For Love In His ‘Forever Never’ Video With Pink Sweats And Swae Lee

On the heels of his emotional track “Need Somebody,” PnB Rock is back for his third preview of his upcoming LP To Be Honest. Tapping Pink Sweats and Swae Lee to lend verses on the song, PnB Rock shares the lovelorn tune “Forever Never” alongside an emotional video.

Directed by Lily Thrall, the visual depicts PnB Rock risking it all for love. He rides a motorcycle through the city in hopes of catching the eye of his crush. PnB Rock manages to get her attention, but not before severely injuring himself in a crash.

While the “Forever Never” video shows PnB Rock getting into a motorcycle wreck, the scene isn’t too far off from an accident the rapper was involved in earlier this year. PnB Rock had reportedly been participating in a Burbank, California street race in January when he swerved and totaled his car. The rapper was seated in a white BMW and topped 100 MPH during the race. He eventually lost control of the car and crashed into three parked vehicles. Thankfully, PnB Rock and his passenger sustained only minor injuries, but he was later arrested and charged with reckless driving and served a DUI.
