Quando Rondo Mourns Lul Pab on Instagram: "You Hurt My Heart Cuz"

Following a shooting that killed his associate Lul Pab, Quando Rondo has spoken out on Instagram. Sharing an image with his fallen friend online, Rondo wrote: “My cuz.”

In a separate post on his Instagram Story, Quando Rondo wrote, “You hurt my heart cuz.”

Around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 19, a gunshot took place in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles. When three males in a white sedan drew up next to Rondo and his group’s black Escalade and started firing, they were at a petrol station. Lul Pab was taken out of the car and sent to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.

According to early rumors, Rondo was shot during the incident. A later released statement revealed Rondo was unharmed and survived the shooting.

“Quando was involved in a shooting yesterday evening [Friday] which resulted in the untimely death of another’s young man’s life; he himself didn’t sustain any injuries during the shooting and is safe,” the statement read.

Quando Rondo Was Reportedly The Intended Target For A Fatal Los Angeles Shooting

Earlier this weekend, rapper Quando Rondo was reported to have been shot. A member of Rondo’s team later released a statement saying that Rondo was involved in a shooting, however, was not shot himself, noting, “Quando was involved in a shooting yesterday evening [Friday] which resulted in the untimely death of another’s young man’s life; he himself didn’t sustain any injuries during the shooting and is safe.”

According to Fox 11 News, investigators have since concluded that the three prime suspects of the shooting intended to shoot Rondo.

“A wild scene here as investigators say the apparent target of this deadly gunfire, a rapper of from the Atlanta area — they say a pretty well-known rapper, too — in this area along with a second person in this back Cadillac Escalade — may have been a relative, may have been a member of his entourage — we don’t know,” said reporter Ed Laskos. “But it’s that second person, not the rapper, it’s that second person who was hit by gunfire, dies by the gunfire.”

The victim of the shooting was treated by paramedics and taken to a local hospital. He was later pronounced dead.

At the time of reporting, the 22-year-old suspect Timothy Leeks — also known as Lul Tim — has been arrested.

Quando Rondo Involved In Shooting In Los Angeles Leaving 1 Dead

NBA Youngboy signee Quando Rondo was involved in a shooting in Los Angeles. Initial reports said that Rondo was shot and even killed during eh shooting, but it was in fact his associate Lul Pab who lost his life.

The shooting happened in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday, August 19 around 5:30 p.m. Rondo and his entourage were at a gas station when 3 men in a white car pulled up next to their black Escalade and began shooting. Lul Pab was removed from the vehicle and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A clip below of a news report of the shooting sees Rondo frantic as authorities pull his associate’s lifeless body out of the car.

Initial reports said that Rondo was shot and even killed during the shooting. However, a statement released from his team says that Rondo survived the shooting unharmed.

“Quando was involved in a shooting yesterday evening [Friday] which resulted in the untimely death of another’s young man’s life; he himself didn’t sustain any injuries during the shooting and is safe,” the statement read.

Rondo’s aunt even took to IG to confirm that Rondo was still alive following the shooting.

“I love everyone but please give my family time to call me. You guys are clogging my line. We’re fine. Maybe I should reword it, he’s fine. I spoke with him myself,” she wrote.

15 minutes later, after people would not stop calling her about Rondo’s status, she took back to IG to say: “I know y’all are concerned but please stop calling me!!! Please understand I can’t talk to him [and] not none of the people I need to be talkin’ to for him if y’all keep calling!! I just kept answering because I think y’all him! Please stopppppp.”

Rondo gained notoriety after his involvement in King Von’s murder in Atlanta in November of 2020. Von was killed after a fight erupted between his crew and Rondo in front of an Atlanta hookah lounge. Rondo affiliate, Lul Tim, then fired shots, killing two people including King Von.

Quando Rondo Was Reportedly Shot In Georgia And Is In Stable Condition

It has been reported that rapper Quando Rondo was shot in Georgia on Friday night, August 19, while with his friend Lul Pab, who was fatally wounded. Quando is in stable condition, as per VladTV.

Around 11:30 p.m., Quando’s aunt posted Instagram stories updating fans on the situation. “I love everyone but please give my family time to call me,” she wrote. “You guys are clogging my line. We’re fine. Maybe I should reword it, he’s fine. I spoke with him myself.”

She then requested people for privacy, writing, “I know y’all are concerned but please stop calling me!!! Please understand I can’t talk to him [and] not none of the people I need to be talkin’ to for him if y’all keep calling!! I just kept answering because I think y’all him! Please stopppppp.”

In May of last year, the rapper was shot at in a Blackshear, Georgia convenience store parking while with some associates. He was rumored to be involved in the killing of King Von in 2021, with a source telling TMZ that Rondo was taking a nap in a car outside the lounge where the shooting took place. Video of the incident appears to show Von instigating the initial fistfight.
