Police Find Bullets At Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ House Amid 2Pac’s Murder Investigation: Report

Las Vegas police reportedly recovered several .40 caliber bullets while executing a search warrant on Duane “Keefe D” Davis’ home in Henderson, Nevada, last week. The search was conducted for a renewed investigation into the murder of 2Pac in 1996. Davis is the uncle of ‘Pac’s alleged killer Orlando Anderson.

According to the Daily Mirror, a Vegas police source says the bullets will undergo forensic testing “to determine if they have any link to the bullets found in 2Pac’s body or on the scene of the homicide.” Detectives have kept clothing and bullets from the scene of the infamous shooting for over 25 years.

“Microfibers or residues from the weapon or the bullet could prove to be a link,” the source added. “There is no information yet on the history of the bullets, how old they are, or their significance. And it will take some time to assess how the bullets play a role in this case.”

The source went on to confirm that police executed the search warrant because “investigators feel they can assemble enough information that could lead to an arrest or indictment.” Despite the possibility, they admitted, “it is a long shot that the bullets will be the ones from 1996.” In addition to the bullets, police seized computers, hard drives, and various photos from the 1990s of possible suspects from Keefe D’s home. Investigators will eventually present their findings to a Las Vegas grand jury to determine whether to pursue an indictment.

As for Anderson’s role in Pac’s death, the accused killer was himself murdered just two years later in 1998. On the night of Pac’s death, Anderson famously got into a fight with him in the lobby of the MGM Grand following the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing fight. Pac was shot and killed later that night.

Lil Nas X’s E-Scooter Adventure Shuts Down Tunnel: “About To Go To Jail In Norway”

From the very beginnings of his career, Lil Nas X has undeniably always kept us on our toes. The Georgia native’s debut album, MONTERO, came with a wild rollout that found the singer pregnant – much to the internet’s entertainment. Since then Nas has continued to raise eyebrows with his antics, most recently during a trip to Norway. As Rolling Stone reports, while doing some sightseeing around the capital city of Oslo, the “DEAD RIGHT NOW” artist and his friends rode down a local tunnel on e-scooters.

While it was surely fun to cruise so freely through the Norwegian streets, Lil Nas X was disappointed to find out that his scooter’s GPS wasn’t equipped for the tunnel. He and his company ultimately had to contact authorities for help, and the local police sent out an explanatory message via Twitter. “Four people on scooters have lost their way into the Fortress Tunnel. They have used large parts of the roadway, so the road traffic centre has closed eastbound lanes until we can transport them out,” it reads when translated to English.

In the time following the tweet, Nas’ IG Story lit up with a photo of him from inside the Fortress Tunnel. “About to go to jail in Norway ,” he later trolled his fans, awkwardly smiling with a pink hoodie shielding some of his face. Seeing as he’s known for telling tall tales for comedy purposes, few took the 24-year-old seriously.

That’s probably a good thing, seeing as one of next photos to appear on his profile showed the recording artist posing with two police officers. “[Nevermind], they f**k wit my music,” Nas wrote on top of the image, confirming his safety like only he would.

50 Cent Is Skeptical Of Los Angeles’ New Zero-Bail Policy

50 Cent has always been one of the most outspoken artists from hip-hop, whether it’s about the genre, TV, business, politics, and much more. Just a week ago, he even commented on rival Ja Rule’s concert antics, where he came out in a stretcher and was “revived.” However, his most recent take online concerned his disapproval of a reinstated bail policy in Los Angeles concerning misdemeanor charges (not more serious crimes). Moreover, these crimes specifically include burglary, shoplifting, drug use, vandalism, and misdemeanor battery. Under the new law, offenders of these crimes will not be arrested in their detainment and will instead go through a normal court process.

In addition, the city will free currently incarcerated individuals who they arrested on these charges and other similar offenses. Of course, this is a big step in cutting unjust prison time for low-level offenders, especially in trial. Still, 50 Cent believes that this will end up being a negative thing for the L.A. community. He reposted a clip of Fox News covering the development on his Instagram page. “LA is finished watch how bad it gets out there SMH,” the multi-hyphenate star captioned the post.

Regardless of his thoughts, this caused a lot of debate among not just residents, but the nation at large. That being said, commenters rushed into 50 Cent’s section to explain why the coverage misleads viewers, breaking down the truth. “This is not what is actually happening,” one commenter clarified. “Anyone arrested will be detained and go through the system as per usual. They will see a judge and a court date will be given.

“In the past, the judge set a cash bail. If you could not afford it you stay in Jail until your court date,” they continued. “This was biased towards people from higher income classes cause they could actually afford bail. Now no one will who is arrested for low level non violent crime be forced to pay cash bail. [They] remain jailed until their court date. Everyone who commits these offenses will be able to stay home until their court date. Young Thug Uncomfortable With Overwhelming Police Presence At YSL RICO Trial: Report

Even though he’s been locked up for over a year now, Young Thug is doing his best to remain positive. Unfortunately, things have been incredibly slow-moving for several reasons. Among them are the difficulty of finding a jury and antics carried out by defendants and their lawyers. At this point, the So Much Fun rapper has been denied bond four times. On top of that, whenever he’s brought into court, what he and his attorneys consider extreme measures are being taken.

As AllHipHop reports, the embattled artist wears a leg brace every day. His legal team argues this is contributing to the impression that Thug is dangerous. In addition, they’re uncomfortable with the “fortress-like atmosphere” in the courtroom. It’s apparently partially created by the overbearing presence of police. This, along with the guards wearing tactical gear, carrying heavy guns and ammunition could potentially influence the jury pool’s perception of the “Day Before” artist.

Family members and fans have been prevented from supporting Thugger in his courtroom as well. Instead, they’ve been given a “viewing” room to watch the trial unfold from. Defense attorneys feel that this “creates a prejudice” against the 31-year-old. The court has previously overruled objections of a similar manner about the rap superstar’s potential for a fair trial. According to them, the security on site is up to the discretion of the Sheriff.

Things may not be going exactly as planned in court, but at least Young Thug has the success of his BUSINESS IS BUSINESS album to celebrate. He didn’t manage to secure the first No. 1 of the year for hip-hop, but the Atlanta native did put out an impressive effort from behind bars. Young Thug’s Attorney Denies Claims The Rapper Provided Information About A Homicide

Earlier this week, Young Thug’s attorney filed a motion for the testimony of a police witness to be blocked. In the motion, he claims that the witness will make false statements to the jury. According to information obtained by XXL, attorney Brian Steel thinks that the witness, Det. Quinn, will claim that he previously received information from Young Thug regarding an unsolved murder. It’s unconfirmed when the witness claims the incident allegedly took place. However, the motion alleges that he provided the information to police when he was a “very young man.”

The motion says, “Based upon information and belief, the prosecution and some of its witnesses, including but not limited to Det. Quinn, may wrongly state that Mr. Jeffery Williams was in the back of their police car at some point and gave information on a murder case.” It continues, “Same is untrue. However, same also places Mr. Williams’ character in issue by being in a locked police car and having information on a murder. This evidence must be excluded because same is not accurate; places Mr. Williams’ character at issue; and is irrelevant to the trial of the above-referenced case.”

Young Thug recently released a new album from behind bars, titled BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. It was released amid his ongoing RICO trial, and the rapper’s fans were eager to hear his latest offering. Due to the buzz surrounding the trial and his loyal fanbase, the album was expected to perform well.

Unfortunately, it was recently reported that the album’s first week sales projections have dropped. Initially, it was projected to sell 110K in it’s first week, and now, it’s expected to sell 87K. Fivio Foreign Allegedly Roofied At Paris Night Club

Fivio Foreign caught a speed bump during his good times in France for Paris Fashion Week, or at least that’s what reports of an alleged incident indicated. Moreover, according to TMZ, someone roofied the New York rapper on Saturday night (June 24) at the Parisian club L’Arc, resulting in a heated altercation. Apparently, the accusations of drugging come directly from Fivio, who attributed that to how he acted in the club he performed at. Furthermore, the publication got in contact with his representatives, who did not specify what went down that night. However, we do know that police forces spoke to him that night, and that the incident allegedly spilled outside of the premises.

However, while officers did confront Fivio Foreign, they did not arrest or detain him for the incident. Overall, it sounds like a bit of a scary situation, and the vagueness of reports as of writing this article certainly doesn’t help. At least the MC had other things to celebrate this week to balance out the unfortunate Saturday night. For example, he recently dropped $200K on a luxurious new chain with his name engraved, VVS diamonds, and emeralds.

In other news, the 33-year-old was believed to be the victim of a chain-snatching indecent, although he and his team called these rumors false. Apparently a rapper named Big Pluto took responsibility for the incident when news of it first broke online. However, Fivio Foreign’s friend Loui Paso went on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast to debunk these claims, saying that he has really tight security. As such, he expressed doubts that anyone could even get past them without it being a much bigger and more well-known story, which got confirmed quick. After calling Fivio, he showed the podcast the allegedly stolen chain in question.

Meanwhile, he just released an eight track EP titled Without Warning, which he leads mostly by himself except for a feature from Kanye West on the track “Concussion.” They previously worked together on various songs from West’s Donda, including “Off The Grid.” Hopefully whatever happened in Paris was an isolated incident- and one that doesn’t happen again. South Carolina Woman Rescued By Police Officer After Mouthing ‘Help Me’

North Myrtle Beach Police Officer Kayla Wallace is being acknowledged for rescuing a woman from a shooting suspect during a routine traffic stop.

On May 28, Officer Wallace was on patrol in North Myrtle Beach when she witnessed a white Jeep running a red light at an intersection. Recognizing the violation, she promptly pulled over the vehicle to address the traffic infraction. However, as she approached the car, Officer Wallace noticed the male passenger was distressed, raising her suspicions, while the female driver silently and repeatedly mouthed the words “Help me.”

According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Officer Wallace observed the driver’s message and removed the passenger from the vehicle, placing him in the back seat of her patrol car.

Wallace then went back to the suspect’s vehicle and spoke to the female driver, who frantically advised that the passenger had just shot someone.

While waiting for backup to arrive, Officer Wallace engaged the occupants of the vehicle in conversation, attempting to gather more information discreetly. This approach was critical in maintaining a calm environment, minimizing the risk of escalating the situation or endangering the woman further.

“Due to Officer Wallace proactively patrolling the streets of North Myrtle Beach, even to the last 30 minutes of her shift, a suspect in a shooting was arrested and an unlawfully carried pistol was recovered underneath the suspect’s seat,” Myrtle Beach Police posted in a tribute to Wallace on Facebook.

The courage displayed by the woman, silently mouthing for help in such a dire situation, allowed law enforcement to intervene promptly, potentially preventing a tragic outcome.

According to a report from USA TODAY, 29-year-old Collins Bates has been arrested and is currently detained. He is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. These charges are in connection with a shooting incident.

Amanda Bynes Detained By Police For Mental Health Check

Amanda Bynes’ ongoing mental health struggles continued over the weekend. According to Page Six, on Sunday she was picked up by police after a call was placed about a woman in distress. Sources identified the woman as Bynes, who was taken in for a mental health evaluation following the incident. The former Nickelodeon star is reportedly still in police custody. It’s the most recent chapter in a long struggle with mental health issues for the child star.

Back in March, she was reportedly found wandering an LA street completely naked. She told bystanders she was coming down from a psychiatric episode and eventually called police on herself. An evaluation following the event determined that she needed to be put in a 5150 psychiatric hold. She was ultimately released three weeks later but failed to start scheduled outpatient treatment in April. It’s been a little over a year since Bynes was freed from an 8-year long conservatorship. According to sources however, she is still on good terms with her family and communicating with her siblings.

This newest incident follows reports that Amanda Bynes’ life was “sad and isolated” following her previous psychiatric hold. Fans were also given some good news when she was seen getting her nails done shortly after her release. Many interpreted this as a sign that she was doing better, though it’s unclear now how true that actually is. Despite everything going on in her life, it’s also been reported that the conservatorship she spent almost a decade under won’t be reinstated.

When the most recent Amanda Bynes news broke many drew comparisons between her struggles and those of former Jackass star Bam Margera. Margera was also tracked down by LAPD a few weeks ago after he reportedly sent suicidal texts to family members. When that information made it to Twitter the public assisted in locating Margera’s whereabouts. YG Shrugs Off Police Stop Following Tupac’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony

YG’s had a few run-ins with the law during his time but his latest appears to be a laughing matter. On Wednesday (June 7), the Compton rapper made his presence felt as Tupac posthumously received his Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star. Although it was a celebration for Tupac and his fans, it seems like police were on YG’s tail. Shortly after the ceremony, the rapper took to Instagram where he revealed authorities pulled over him and his team for unknown reasons.

Regardless, YG seemed to be in good spirits throughout the matter. In the video, YG has a grin from ear to ear as he clowns the officers on duty. “Y’all find what you were lookin’ for? Yeah? No?” he asked with a smile on his face. “Y’all find it? Hell nah, huh? That’s what I told you, son, I’m a gangsta, a real gangsta, with the Bloods,” he added with a chuckle. Ultimately, it doesn’t seem like YG had any issues. One of the officers ignored the rapper’s attempt to gain his attention and the other seemingly wrote a ticket.

Despite the brief encounter with the police, YG ensured that he honored ‘Pac’s legacy. He joined the late rapper’s sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, who delivered a powerful speech that recognized ‘Pac’s work throughout the city of Los Angeles. “2Pac knew deep down that he was always meant for something great. As his little sister, I had the privilege to watch that greatness unfold,” she began. “Not only paying tribute to his contribution in the music industry but speaks volumes to the lasting impact he’s had on this world.”

She continued, “Today, we’re not just honoring a star on the ground but honoring the world and the passion he put into making his dreams come true. His heavenly star will shine a little brighter today.” Prior to the ceremony, YG expressed his grievances about it taking 25 years to honor Tupac with his own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. “It took them 25 years + to give Tupac a star on Hollywood Blvd? Y’all got him f*ucked all the way up,” he said on Twitter.
