Fivio Foreign Was Reportedly Arrested For Carrying An Unregistered Firearm After Literally Running From Police

Fivio Foreign has reportedly been arrested in Fort Lee, New Jersey, according to The Daily Voice. Fivio — real name Maxie Lee Ryles III — had reportedly left his car running in a no-parking zone. According to Fort Lee police, when an officer approached him asking for his driver’s license, he simply walked away, ignoring all attempts to flag him down. Unfortunately, when he began running, the arresting officer said a loaded .25-caliber handgun with a defaced serial number fell out of his waistband.

The officer called for backup and Fivio was taken into custody and booked at the Bergen County Jail for weapons possession, having a defaced firearm, and resisting arrest. The initial officer who made contact was reportedly taken to a local hospital for a “minor wound.”

This makes Fivio’s second trip to County in six months. In October, he was arrested for assault after his pregnant girlfriend accused him of punching her in the back of the head and hitting her with a glass bottle. Fivio denied the allegations, claiming she “set him up.”

Fivio has had a quiet 2021 musically, only releasing one single, “Self Made,” and guesting on fellow New Yorker Lil Tjay’s March single “Headshot” with Chicago rapper Polo G.

Fivio Foreign Boasts That He’s ‘Self Made’ In His First Solo Song Of 2021

Brooklyn drill star Fivio Foreign has been quiet to start the year, but today he broke his silence with the video for “Self Made.” Over a video game-y loop with monstrous bass, Fivio details his accomplishments and stills his haters, challenging them to “make another one” and sneering “I hope a lot of n****s get sanctioned.” The simple video follows Fivio as he parties and records flanked by women and goons.

Before taking a break in Q1, Fivio dominated much of 2020, garnering a spot on the XXL Freshman cover and popping up as a coveted guest feature with all sorts of collaborators — mainly New Yorkers. He assisted Lil Tjay in 2020 on “Zoo York” with the late Pop Smoke — a feat he followed up this year on Tjay’s “Headshot” featuring Polo G — then lent his co-sign to Young M.A and DreamDoll on “Move Like A Boss” and “Ah Ah Ah,” respectively. He stepped outside the confines of the Big Apple to work with Polo G on “Bop It,” helping to form the foundation of their chemistry on “Headshot” later on.

Fivio also worked with more Midwestern artists throughout the year, including Big Sean on Hit-Boy’s “Salute” and King Von on “Trust.” Now that he’s cracked the seal on 2021, we can likely expect him to provide updates on his upcoming debut album B.I.B.L.E (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) any day now.

Lil Tjay, Fivio Foreign, And Polo G Have A Field Day In The Luxurious ‘Headshot’ Video

After releasing his new song on Friday Lil Tjay returns today with an irreverent video for the propulsive “Headshot” featuring fellow New Yorker Fivio Foreign and friend Polo G. The three drill influenced rappers play William Tell at an opulent mansion, firing old-fashioned pistols at a group of butlers with apples on their heads. All three display much better marksmanship than most rappers do in real life, turning their targets to applesauce and leaving the domestic help unscathed. Tjay also communes with a giraffe, while the fountain outside is filled with models lying on pool floats.

Tjay’s year got off to a bumpy start after getting a video shoot searched and eventually getting arrested shortly after Christmas last year. After being booked on possession of guns and marijuana, he was released on bond. Getting back to work on his upcoming follow-up to 2020’s State Of Emergency, he released his video for “Calling My Phone” featuring Atlanta singer 6lack before apparently hunkering down to complete his album.

Meanwhile, each of his “Headshot” co-stars have also kept busy. Polo G just released his “For My Fans (Freestyle)” video in which he raps to the instrumental tracks for “Beat Box,” “Whoopty,” and “No More Parties,” while Fivio Foreign is a few months removed from his “Trust” video with the late King Von.

Lil Tjay, Polo G, And Fivio Foreign Deliver A ‘Headshot’ On Their Sinister Collaboration

Lil Tjay, Polo G, and Fivio Foreign are some of the more popular newcomers on today’s rap scene. Each act has seen improved success in their career over the past couple of years, so it’s only right that they bring their talents together for a boastful collaboration. The trio dropped off their “Headshot” track and the new release lives up to its name without a doubt. The sinister song presents a clear warning from the three acts that any attempt to attack them will not only fail but be met with swift retaliation.

While it’s the first time the three artists have worked together on the song, the rappers are not unfamiliar with each other when it comes to studio time. Last year, Lil Tjay teamed up with Fivio and the late Pop Smoke for their “Zoo York” effort. Fivio also called on Tjay for their “Ambition” collaboration which can be found on his 2020 effort, 800 BC. Polo G’s breakout hit came alongside Tjay thanks to 2019’s “Pop Out” and on a more recent note, he linked with Fivio for their light-hearted track, “Bop Out.”

The new song comes after Tjay’s last song, “Calling My Phone‘ with 6lack, became his highest-charting release after it debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard singles chart. Polo G recently dropped his “GNF (OKOKOK)” track, which preceded his “Fashion” effort with Pop Smoke. Lastly, Fivio released his “Trust” collaboration alongside the late King Von with a video that captured a raucous party.
