Styles P to Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of “Good Times” Single at Irving Plaza
The 20th anniversary of Styles P’s hit “Good Times” from his album A Gangster and a Gentleman is commemorated with a special event. Good Times 2.0 will deliver a natural and physical high from the recollections of the accomplishments of that song on August 18th at Irving Plaza in New York City. Numerous performances, DJs, strain releases, an NFT release, and other events will be part of the celebration.
Styles’ other members of The LOX, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, will also perform. Along with the trio, Smoke DZA, Nems, a rapper, and Sidetalk NYC star, and Havoc of Mobb Deep will shake the Irving Plaza stage. The Heavy Hitters Pretty Lou and DJ DP One, as well as Statik Selektah from Roc Nation, are the event’s 1s and 2s.
Together with the Strain Gang and Terp Hogz, Styles will release his cannabis strain on the 20th anniversary of the song “Good Times.” WeedMaps, Strain Gang, High Times Magazine, Compound Genetics, Bklyn Reserve, Astor Club, Happy Munkey, Live Nation, and Magical are the event’s sponsors.
The show will take place on August 18th, 2022, at Irving Plaza, and doors open at 7 pm. Tickets are available at Live Nation.

Styles P Is Bringing A Pop-Up Juice Bar To Rolling Loud NY
When Eve said “Money, power, respect, you’ll be eatin’ right” on the hook of the iconic Lox track “Money, Power Respect,” do you think she knew what Styles P would be scheming more than 20 years leader? Turns out he founded a juice company called “Juices For Life” in the Bronx. Facts only.
The Yonkers native has two stores already, a third one coming in Brooklyn and now a pop-up juice bar coming to Rolling Loud NY this weekend. So in between seeing Travis Scott, 50 Cent, and J.Cole at the Oct. 28-30th Citi Field festival, you’ll get an opportunity to nourish your body at a full-on “Juices For Life” stand.
Clearly, the still prolific P has been on to something. “Styles P is living proof that taking care of your body from the inside out will keep your skills sharp, as evidenced by his effortless breath control and dominance of the microphone,” Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif said in a statement.
But the collaboration runs deeper than that, with a new merch line inspired by Styles P’s holistic ways, and A$AP Ferg’s new single, “Green Juice” out tomorrow, entitled “Green Juice.” The “Juices For Life” location in the Bronx will serve as a pop-up shop for the merch throughout the weekend. Rolling Loud also announced a merch collab with the Billionaire Boys Club BBC Ice Cream line that’ll be available at the fest as well as as the BBC Ice Cream store in SoHo.

Jadakiss Reveals How The LOX Landed On Kanye West’s ‘Donda’
Last month was quite eventful for The LOX. The group, which consists of Yonkers rappers Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch, began their run with an amazing performance during a Verzuz matchup against Dipset. The appearance inspired people to praise the group, specifically Jadakiss, with many calling him the star of the show. Shortly after, during Kanye West’s second listening party for Donda, The LOX made a surprise appearance on a track we now know as “Jesus Lord Pt. 2.” During a recent interview with HipHopDX, Jadakiss explained how that song came together.
“Someone from ‘Ye’s camp actually reached out to my older son,” the rapper said. “Then ‘Ye called us the next day after Verzuz, he hit me the next morning. We flew straight there (Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium) and went straight to the studio and knocked the song out. Then went and rested and came back the next day and went to the event and flew back.”
Shortly after The LOX dazzled at their Verzuz against Dipset, the group was gifted the key to their hometown of Yonkers by the city’s mayor, Mike Spano. “We recognize LOX,” Spano said during a ceremony for the key. “We’re gonna give this to you. He doesn’t need it. He could go anywhere he wants but this will confirm it all.”
