Polo G’s ‘Hall Of 2.0.’ Tracklist Features Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, NLE Choppa, And More

Nearly six months after Polo G dropped his third album, Hall Of Fame, he’s gearing up to share its deluxe reissue. The rapper announced the deluxe version, which is titled Hall Of Fame 2.0, earlier this month and later shared the first single for it: “Bad Man (Smooth Criminal).” Now, with a little over a week left until it arrives, he unveils the tracklist.

Hall Of Fame 2.0 adds 14 songs to the album’s original 20, while bringing on Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, Yungliv, NLE Choppa, and Lil Tjay as additional guests. At the time of its announcement, Polo G shared a trailer where he spoke about the inspiration behind it. “Hall Of Fame 2.0…That was me beating my chest, really coming into my own as an artist and showing I’m gonna stay,” he says. “But before I just close out this chapter, I feel like we should turn up this one more time.”

NLE Choppa And Polo G Keep Things ‘Jumpin’ During A Bank Robbery In Their New Video

NLE Choppa has done a lot in his life as a young rapper, and in his latest video, he shows viewers how to successfully complete a bank heist and escape the grasp of police officers. It’s all captured in his new video for “Jumpin” which features a guest verse from Polo G as well as assistance from the Chicago rapper who steps in for a strong verse on the track in addition to fulfilling his role on the bank robbery team. NLE Choppa breaks the visual down into six parts with each showing the required tasks that he and his team need to fulfill in order to successfully commit the crime.

“Jumpin” comes after NLE Choppa delivered his “Mmm Hmm” song and video. In the visual, he delivers some lavish gifts to some select friends after flying them out to a tropical island. The pair of tracks also come after he claimed he would retire to become a “full-time herbalist.” As for Polo G, the track is his latest in a string of recent guest verses as he previously teamed up with Burna Boy for “Want It All.” He also joined Eminem, Skylar Grey, and Mozzy on “Last One Standing.”

You can watch the video for “Jumpin” in the video above.

NLE Choppa Shouts Out The Female Artists He Thinks ‘Got Next,’ Including Coi Leray And Flo Milli

It’s no secret that hip-hop music is going through a nearly unprecedented boom in female artists dominating the charts. There are more female rappers charting on the Hot 100 than ever, and more women in hip-hop are receiving more attention. The 2021 XXL Freshman class included no fewer than three new women on it, including Coi Leray, Lakeyah, and Rubi Rose, and the days of label or fan-imposed, Highlander-style rap beef (“there can only be one!”) among them appear to be over.

While there are obviously some men in the game unhappy about this shift in the status quo, there are others who are ready and willing to champion the next generation. Among the latter is Memphis rising star NLE Choppa, who used his Twitter to highlight some of those who are currently taking over or poised to blow up in the near future. He even went out of his way to tag them all in the thread to ensure they got maximum exposure, listing the above-mentioned Coi, Lakeyah, and Rubi, as well as BIA, DreamDoll, Dreezy, Erica Banks, and Renni Rucci. Later on, he added a couple of names he forgot, Flo Milli and Rico Nasty, noting he’s got a song with the latter.

Of course, because it’s Twitter, fans were quick to chime in and insist that he forgot other rising stars like Armani Caesar, KenTheMan, and Latto, but there’s no pleasing everybody — and, to be fair, there are a lot more female rappers getting attention these days. If a few get missed in one or two Twitter threads, they’ll likely still receive big love from fans, which should be the goal at the end of the day, right?
