Lil Tecca And Gunna’s Fluorescent Video For ‘Repeat It’ Accounts For Their Rise To Fame

Just seven months after sharing his debut album, Virgo World, Lil Tecca returned with a string of singles, including “Show Me Up,” “Never Left,” “Money On Me,” and his most recent track, “Repeat It” with Gunna. The latter, which is the rappers’ first collaboration, finds them both bragging about the multiple ways they can flex their wealth. Days after the single was released, Tecca debuts an accompanying video for it.

Filled with bright, fluorescent colors, it shows Tecca riding confidently in a luxury vehicle before joining Gunna for a small party, where they’re surrounded by a cast of women.

Tecca’s brand new video arrives after he announced his next project, We Love You Tecca 2, is on the way. A release date for the upcoming full-length effort had not yet been shared, but from the looks of it, fans won’t have to wait too long for Tecca’s next body of work. Gunna, on the other hand, recently joined Polo G for their latest collaboration, “Waves.”

You can watch the video for “Repeat It” above.

Lil Tecca And Gunna Promise To Flex On Multiple Occasions On ‘Repeat It’

It was just a few years ago that New York native Lil Tecca saw his rise to fame seemingly happen overnight. The rapper’s breakout single “Ransom” arrived in 2019 and it immediately boosted the rapper to fame as the track peaked at No. 4 on the singles chart. He then released his debut project, We Love You Tecca that same year, a project that also peaked at No. 4 on the albums chart. Now, after dropping his official debut album, Virgo World last fall, Tecca is back in action with Gunna for their new track, “Repeat It.”

The collaboration is a boastful effort that sees both rappers promising to keep up a consistent flex as their successful lifestyles have allowed them to do just that. Led by a pair of verses from Tecca over the song’s giddy production, Gunna arrives as an anchor for the final verse that brings the track to a close.

In addition to the new songs, Lil Tecca revealed his next project, We Love You Tecca 2 would arrive at some point in the near future. The track also arrives after Gunna connected with Polo G for their recent collaboration, “Waves.”

Gunna And Polo G Bring Their Surfboards To Ride The ‘Waves’ On Their New Track

In today’s generation of rap, Gunna and Polo G stand as two of the most popular names within the genre. The success they portrayed over the last couple of years is direct proof of this, in addition to the work from early in their careers. So it’s no surprise that Kawhi Leonard recruited them both to appear on his upcoming compilation project titled Culture Jam. The duo’s song, titled “Waves,” leans more into Gunna’s lane as it features production the YSL rapper might use for his own work, but nothing too out of the box for Polo G as he flows smoothly on the new track.

Leonard shared additional details about the project back in May. “Culture Jam will always be a platform where creators’ ideas and talents come to life and serve our families and communities,” he said in a statement. “As an athlete that loves family, music, culture, and community, it was extremely important for me to build a space where all these elements thrive. Culture Jam’s significance is not only timely but it is also necessary.” The first single from the project was NBA YoungBoy and Rod Wave’s “Everything Different.”

The new track is also not the first time the the two rapper’s have worked together. Back in 2019, Gunna and Lil Baby teamed up to join Polo G for “Pop Out Again,” a song of the Chicago rapper’s debut album, Die A Legend.

Migos Announce The Lineup For Their Las Vegas Weekender Fest, Including Duke Deuce, Gunna, And Lil Yachty

As Migos rolled out their album Culture III this spring, the Atlanta trap trio also revealed that they would be hosting their own festival in Las Vegas promoting the album in October (14-17). Now that it’s closer to the date in question, we have a better idea of what that festival is going to look like — especially since they’ve announced the headliners and more details about the event.

Far from being your usual field festival, they’re describing it as a full-on takeover, complete with pool parties, club nights, and of course, performances from Migos and their guests, which include fellow Quality Control Music artists like Duke Deuce and Lil Yachty, fellow Atlanta trap rap star Gunna, and some feminine representation from Kash Doll and Rubi Rose (who you may remember got her start as a model in their “Bad And Boujee” video with Lil Uzi Vert).

Migos

The venues include Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub and Area 15, with more to come. The “Migos curated Vegas experience” will even include custom food and beverage menus and event partner Pollen is offering a “COVID-19 Money-Back Guarantee to make the event 100% refundable if it is canceled or rescheduled due to COVID-19.”

Tickets will go on sale Monday, July 12 and more information can be found here.
