[WATCH] Lil Baby’s Security Guard Sends Fan Off Stage Into Barricade

A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby, and More Take Over The Summer Smash

Lil Baby is just one of the many rappers to deal with overzealous fans recently.  During his Thursday show in Switzerland, a fan jumped on stage and approached Baby with outstretched arms. The “Drip Too Hard” rapper was seemingly unfazed by the commotion and stepped out the way.

The eager fan however was quickly shoved off stage as the rapper’s security guard sprinted towards him and thrust him away. The fan was sent flying off stage into the barricade below.

There is no word if the fan was okay, but Lil Baby went to check on his status. The video below shows the 27-year-old rapper approaching the crowd and seemingly telling them to stop booing the fan.

A Lil Baby Fan Got Destroyed By Security When They Rushed The Stage, And Lil Baby Was Concerned

The past couple of weekends have been filled with incidents between artists and fans at music festivals. First, Lil Uzi Vert was accused of hitting a fan in the face with a cell phone at London’s Wireless Festival after he threw one into the crowd. After that, Cardi B seemingly got into a scuffle with someone at that same Wireless Festival after they grabbed her hair. Lastly, Roddy Ricch quite literally kicked a fan offstage after they rushed toward him at Switzerland’s Openair Frauenfeld Festival. Now, an incident involving Lil Baby at that same Swiss festival joins that list.

Lil Baby was performing his 2020 record “On Me” at the Openair Frauenfeld Festival when a fan rushed the stage. it seemed like they got onstage with the hope of interacting with Lil Baby, but that attempt was quickly put to an end after a security guard pushed the individual off the stage and into the front row barricade. The security guard’s reaction seemingly took Lil Baby by surprise as he paused the show to make sure the individual was okay.

You can watch the fan get tossed off the stage in the video above.

Gucci Mane And Lil Baby’s Unrelenting ‘All Dz Chainz’ Bridges Atlanta’s Generation Gap

As one of the forefathers of Atlanta trap rap, Gucci Mane’s impact on the city’s sound can never be overstated and his legacy is cemented as an ATL icon. But rather than rest on his laurels, Gucci has dedicated the last few years of his career to blessing the city’s future, not reminiscing about his past. He’s given out features to nearly all of Atlanta’s new wave of trap rappers, leaving his fingerprints on multiple generations of Atlanta’s music scene. The latest rapper to receive the Gucci Mane co-sign is Lil Baby, a rapper who arguably doesn’t even need it.

Perhaps that’s what makes their collaboration, the unrelenting “All Dz Chainz,” so special; Lil Baby is his generation’s closest analog to Gucci Mane, a near-universally beloved figure whose status as the unofficial people’s champ is more or less undisputed thanks to a solid run of both personal projects like My Turn, collaborations like Drip Harder and The Voice Of The Heroes, and features with Vince Staples, Future, Polo G, and even Ed Sheeran (just his most recent ones anyway). Gucci and Baby’s powers combine on the track, with both icons feeding on each other’s energy, making for a powerful statement of solidarity for multiple generations of Atlanta hip-hop.
