Diddy shared a series of pictures on Instagram of his youngest child, Love, celebrating their first Easter on Sunday. In the post, Love posed with various Easter eggs and other holiday decorations.

“Baby LOVE’s first Easter,” Diddy captioned the photos. Fans were quick to point out how similar Love looks to Diddy in response. “Why she lookin like you on this picture,” one asked. Others wrote: “Oh yeah… I know she’s got all of y’all wrapped around her little finger,” as well as “She is absolutely. I knew she wanted to try that egg but she went for the carrot instead. God bless you and your entire family.”

Diddy first announced the birth of Love back in December 2022 on Twitter. He didn’t reveal the mother at the time. “I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world,” he wrote. “Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!” He also shared a photo of himself with Love on Christmas as she experienced that holiday for the first time. They, as well as the rest of Diddy’s kids, rocked matching pajamas.

Back in 2021, Diddy revealed to Press Play that he had gotten much closer with his children since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. “For me, my life got better because I was running myself into the ground, and I wasn’t taking enough time for my family and for myself. It’s really been a blessing,” he told Clive Davis at the time. “I lost the mother of my children and the time that [my kids and I] were sequestered together, it helped me to make up for all those years I was on tour and to get closer to my family. For me, it’s been a blessing, but really using the time to become a better father and a better person.”

“It’s fuckin’ Friday,” he began. “We out here, doing what we do, doing it first, like we always did. I’m back outside. You know, Soulja Boy, I did everything first n***a. It’s alright. I said your name, I know you ain’t gon… but hey!”

From there, Diddy urged his followers to take a break from the “negative energy” offered by the internet.

“Check it out, it’s so much bad shit on the internet right now,” he said. “So much negative energy. So much, just like, yo… everybody, let’s lift up the frequency and vibration. Let’s stay off this fuckin’ internet. If you seeing this, turn your phone off for a day. Get you some rest, get closer to God. Get closer to your friends.”

He continued: “Be kind to people. Think about what you’re saying, think about what you’re doing. And get ready for ’23 to rise. This your season of wealth, your season of happiness, your season of peace. God bless y’all. Love!”

Diddy has primarily been traveling throughout the Caribbean over the holidays. In previous posts on Instagram, Diddy shared a tour of the yacht he’s been using. He also reportedly joined Drake at a high-profile charity event in St. Barts on Thursday. Other guests included Lenny Kravitz, Mary J. Blige, Naomi Watts, Mike Tyson, Rita Ora, and more.

Mariah Carey Blasted By “All I Want For Christmas” Co-Writer

Mariah Carey has had much success with her 12-time platinum holiday single “All I Want For Christmas.” MC was recently called out by the song’s co-writer Walter Afanasieff after celebrating the record’s 21 million streams on Spotify.

Afanaseiff claimed that Mariah’s contribution to the song isn’t what the star portrayed it to be. “She started to hint at the fact that, ‘Oh, I wrote that song when I was a little girl.’ But why weren’t you saying that for 12 or 13 or 15 years prior to that? So it just sort of developed in her mind.”

However, Carey’s rep denied Afanaseiff’s comments. “Mariah has never claimed to write ‘All I Want for Christmas’ by herself or as a child. She has always credited Walter, as he is cited as a writer on the song, so that would be ridiculous.” The rep added, Not ‘sure where that rumor came from, but Mariah is very respectful of writers and the craft, as she is a songwriter herself.”

Mariah made fun of the rumor with an Instagram video of herself from 1994 explaining the writing process of “All I Want for Christmas.” “I was up at the farm, upstate where we did the video,” she said in the clip. “And it was nighttime. I was just walking around, and I got the idea for the song,” she said at the time. I don’t know where it came from, sometimes things just come to me like that. That melody just came into my head, the verse melody. Then, I was walking around, and just went in. I had a little keyboard set up there and I just kind of finished the lyrics and the melody just came pretty quickly.”

Troy Ave Keeps The Tradition Alive With “White Christmas 10”

Just as Christmas day approaches, Troy Ave is keeping the tradition alive with the 10th installment in his White Christmas series.

Every single year, Troy Ave makes a concerted effort to bless his fans with a new body of work to ride out to throughout the holidays. Today, he blessed fans with White Christmas 10 in its entirety. He keeps his latest body of work without any features, allowing his voice to shine on each record.

For the most part, the new project doesn’t really have many blatant holiday vibes. However, he brings his signature style of New York-centric bars detailing the hustle and grind. White Christmas 10 consists of 12 songs in total.

During a 2019 interview with HNHH, Troy Ave explained that the White Christmas showcases his consistency as an artist. More importantly, it’s also an offering that he nows his fans look forward to every year.

“I almost lost my life on Christmas day. So I kind of made a pact. And I was actually listening to White Christmas when I got shot in the head. I was listening to the prayer part of the intro. So no matter what as long as I’m able, I’ma release a White Christmas,” he said. “I could’ve not been here and not made it anymore. And, the thing is, it makes a lot of people’s Christmas. Some people don’t get a gift, they don’t get shit for Christmas, they get this. This is my gift to everybody that supported me throughout the years. I’ma always give them this White Christmas.”

White Christmas 9 closes out a highly productive year that includes the release of THE SUNDAY SERVICE and New York City: The Movie.

A Christmas Lights Show In Houston Went Viral For Syncing Its Display To Songs By Bad Bunny And Lil Jon

If your several plays of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” have worn out your stereo, a Houston homeowner has come up with a creative way to crunk up the holidays. A man by the name of Frank To-ong, better known as H-Town Frankie is returning with his perfectly synced Christmas lights for the ninth year in a row.

While it’s not unusual for homeowners to sync their Christmas lights to traditional holiday carols, Frankie likes to sync his lights to blink and display to some big bangers.

In one TikTok clip, some of Frankie’s lights are seen blinking to Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz’s “Get Low,” with the lyrics on display on the closed garage door.

Another clip sees the lights putting on a show to one of this year’s biggest hits, “Titi Me Pregunto” by Bad Bunny.

It appears that Frankie likes to get in the Christmas spirit beginning in November. In one clip, the lights are seen dancing to the viral trap remix of Shirley Caesar’s “Beans, Greens, Tomatoes,” song which recirculates every Thanksgiving season.

In an interview with Secret Houston, Frankie expressed pride in his hometown, as well as the lights’ global impact.

“When people know that the creator of this content is from Houston, that makes me proud,” said Frankie. “That is the coolest thing ever. This is my town. This is my city.”

Record Number of Consumers Expected to Shop Super Saturday

Black Friday Shopping 22 MO 58

The mid-December shopping interlude is expected to be disrupted tomorrow when more than 158 million U.S. consumers pour into malls and stores on Super Saturday. The National Retail Federation announced on Tuesday the turnout projection for December 17th, predicated on a consumer survey in conjunction with Prosper Insights & Analytics.

The NRF predicts that of the anticipated 158 million shoppers, it is forecasted that 44.1 million (28 percent) plan to shop only in stores, 42.2 million (27 percent) plan to shop only online and 72.2 million (46 percent) plan to shop both in stores and online. The survey of  7,857 consumers was conducted Dec. 1 to 7 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.1 percent.

The NRF president and chief executive officer Matthew Shay stated, “Consumers have been shopping in record numbers this year, purchasing holiday items for friends and loved ones. With Super Saturday falling eight days before Christmas, retailers are prepared to help shoppers fulfill their last-minute purchases that will make this holiday season memorable.”

Following the Thanksgiving holiday including Black Friday and Cyber Week, retailers often experience an annual lull in shopping until approximately 10 days before Christmas. This year, the 158 million figure is nearly 10 million more purchasers than last year’s contemplated figure and  the highest number since NRF first started tracking this data in 2016.

Shopping trends this year reflect the top gifts consumers are buying include clothing (50 percent), toys (34 percent), gift cards (28 percent), books and other media (26 percent) and food or candy (23 percent). The release of NRF’s report considered the weather in New York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles to be generally favorable for shopping on Saturday. Since then, temperatures have dropped significantly, which could have a strong effect on turnout.

Shopping won’t stop after Christmas as 70 percent of consumers plan to shop after Dec. 25, which is on par with pre-pandemic levels for post-Christmas shopping, said the NRF. Bloated inventories, large price promotions, returns or exchanges, and gift cards could all lead to more spending. Additionally, the preferred payment method amongst consumers continues to evolve. 52 percent of consumers are using alternative payments or digital wallets, up from 44 percent last year. The most common alternative payment is PayPal (32 percent), followed by Apple Pay (14 percent) and CashApp (12 percent).
