Future Flexes 6 Chains Sporting His Label Freebandz Logo

Rappers and their chains go way back and it’s often been quite competitive to see who can get the flashiest jewelry. Future himself is no stranger to extravagant chains but he might have one-upped himself recently. The Atlanta rapper took to his Instagram story to show off 6 new chains he had made sporting to label’s logo. Like with much of what he posts online, fans mostly responded with jokes.

“He too old to be buying chains,” one of the top comments on a repost of the video jokes. Most of the other jokes are about one of the labels signees Real Boston Richey. Boston was called out earlier this year by Roddy Ricch, who made claims that Future had cut him off from the label. “Know Boston Richey don’t got one,” and “He tryna Get NEW FBG chains cuz Boston Richey snitch a*s still rocking the old one” two other top comments read. Check out the full video of Future’s new chains below.

Future’s New Freebandz Chains

Metro Boomin has been teasing an upcoming collaborative album with Future all year. In fact, he’s posted so many teasers for fans so many times that it’s become a running joke. Metro himself even weighed in on the joke himself, seeming to take it in good faith. Metro has been pretty busy this year so fans likely wouldn’t be as frustrated by the album’s lack of a release date without the constant teases.

Part of the delay might have to do with Metro losing some of the beats he was working on for the project. He tweeted about experiencing a power outage that caused him to loose an entire sessions worth of work. When a fan asked him what he was working on he confirmed it was his collaborative album with Future. What do you think of Future’s new Freebandz chains? Which of the labels artists and affiliates do you think will ultimately end up getting them? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Husband Ices Her Out With His & Her “Sleeze” Chains

Nicki Minaj is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming album, Pink Friday 2, due out later this year. In the past year and a half, she’s unloaded several singles to build anticipation. “Do We Have A Problem?” ft. Lil Baby kicked off the campaign. Then, she followed up with records like “We Go Up,” and of course, “Super Freaky Girl,” which recently celebrated its 1-year anniversary. Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj debuted her latest single, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” which seems to mark a new alter ego in her arsenal.

Although she and her husband Kenneth have taken on the name The Pettys, it seems as though he’s the original “Big Sleeze.” Benny Da Jeweler hit the ‘Gram to reveal that Kenneth just scooped up an impressive pair of chains for himself and his wife. Kenneth copped himself an iced-out chain with the pendant reading, “Big Sleeze,” while Nicki’s reads, “Queen Sleeze.” “Queen Sleeze Big Sleeze @nickiminaj shout out to my brotha ZOO FOR DROPPING THE [money bag emoji] SOUTH SIDE JAMAICA SH*T.”

Nicki Minaj’s New Chains

The details on the chains are incredible. Kenneth’s “Big Sleeze” piece boasts diamonds throughout the Cuban links. Meanwhile, Kenneth copped a custom heart-linked chain for Nicki’s “Queen Sleeze” piece. The clasps on both pieces are equally impressive; encrusted with diamonds and engraved with the name of Nicki’s label, Heavy On It, which added Ice Spice to the roster earlier this year.

Kenneth Petty truly went all out for his wifey. Although it seems obvious that Nicki is the breadwinner of the household, Kenneth evidently wants to spoil her with his latest gifts. In addition to the chains, he also copped his and her Richard Mille watches – a red one for himself and a pink one for Nicki. Earlier this month, Nicki sported the chain as she celebrated a massive milestone on Spotify. Check out the pieces above via Benny Da Jeweler’s Instagram and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Fivio Foreign Proclaims “God Is Good” After Dropping $200k On New Chain

Fivio Foreign felt like spending big this week. On June 23, the Brooklyn rapper dropped pictures of his new chain, featuring a bejeweled snowflake pendant. According to his social media, Fivio spent a cool $200k on the icy new drip.

Per Fivio’s jeweler, the piece is “all emeralds, with the kilo, and VVS diamonds.” In the center of the pendant, the word “Fivio” is carefully displayed. However, it’s not the first time this month that Fivio’s chains have been a topic of conversation.

Earlier in June, the rapper had to confirm that he had not been the victim of a chain-snatching incident. In fact, Fivio’s friend Loui Paso called the rumors “cap” as Fivio’s security presence would have made it impossible for anyone to get close enough to snatch. Regardless, Fivio had a very special person to thank for his latest fit.

Fivio Thanks God For New Chain

Fivio thanked the Lord above for his new chains on social media, saying “Good is Good” while also including a video showing off the new drip. “Too easy, 200k in one day, too easy,” the rapper is heard saying as his jeweler showcases the piece.

“Like water,” Fivio also says, shaking his water bottle while indicating to the new chains. In the light, the pendant does indeed look like the surface of a body of water. While unobtainable for 99% of folks, it does have a strange and ethereal beauty to it.

The video ends with Fivio’s jeweler’s holding up the weight thick-link chain surrounding the pendant. “Big boy rosy,” Fivio says, inspecting it. “We love rosy,” he continues. This is likely in reference to the rose-gold tint that the chain takes on when better exposed to the light.

Fivio Weighs In On YK Osiris Situation

However, Fivio hasn’t just been buying drip this week, he’s also been serving up takes. Young rapper YK Osiris found himself in hot water after reality star Sukihana accused him of forcibly trying to kiss her during a Crew League broadcast.

While Suki eventually accepted Osiris’ apology, that didn’t stop outsiders from continuing to speculate and commentate on the situation. For Fivio, however, he wanted to simply give Osiris some advice for navigating the modern world.

“Just as a Black man in America and how our Black women are portrayed, you always got to be delicate… So you just got to read the room. Now, I don’t want to put another Black man down, but I feel for her and I got daughters,” Fivio told Hollywood Unlocked.

DJ Drama’s Team Denies Paying $120K To Get Stolen Chains Returned

DJ Drama’s visit to Toronto didn’t end smoothly, apparently. Three men in masks took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal that they stole the Gangsta Grillz DJ’s chain during his visit to the 6ix. Along with shouting out Drake, who Drama’s had issues with in the past, the three individuals seemingly confirmed their alliance with incarcerated Toronto rapper Top 5’s GGG crew. “This is — that’s what you f**kin’ get for not checkin’ in!” one masked robber says holding up the chains. “Shout out boy, Drizzy, eh? Triple G’s, you know how we rock!”

Ultimately, Top 5 chimed in on the matter, seemingly confirming that he was the one responsible for Drama’s chain getting snatched. “For all you that don’t post my music, and don’t play my music 2023 your chains are getting snatched,” Top5 wrote. “@djdrama come get ur chain back lil boy. Eventually, he alleged that DJ Drama put up $120,000 for his chain to get returned. “120K for the chain back that’s a good deal,” he wrote.

DJ Drama’s Camp Reacts

DJ Drama’s crew finally responded to the allegations after days of headlines. While the Generation Now co-founder hasn’t chimed in yet, the label’s official Instagram page slid into the comment section of Akademiks’ post with a cap emoji. Then, the other co-founder of Generation Now, Leighton “Lakeshow” Morrison chuckled at the rumors of Drama having to pay for his chain. “Lololololololol,” he wrote. It seems as though Drama isn’t actually willing to pay the fee, after all.

At this point, the details surrounding the incident involving DJ Drama remain unclear. However, there have been a number of people who came forward with alleged details surrounding the altercation. Apparently, Drama got jumped following his performance at Century Nightclub on King Street. However, one tweet alleged that he got attacked inside of the venue. At this point, no footage of the altercation has emerged and DJ Drama hasn’t necessarily acknowledged Top5’s claims. We’ll keep you posted on anymore developments surrounding DJ Drama and Top 5. Check out the comments above and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

DJ Drama’s Stolen Chains Are Allegedly Getting Back To Him

DJ Drama faced a fair share of social media clowning over the weekend after video surfaced of robbers flaunting his chains. Apparently, they robbed the Philly multi-hyphenate for not “checking” when he visited Toronto, and later posted his chains online for the world to see. “That’s what you f***ing get for not checking in,” the men say in the clip. “Shout out boy Drizzy, eh. Triple Gs, you know how we rock.” It’s funny that they mention Drake, as the two allegedly had past beef and it’s unclear whether “checking” was the only motivation behind the robbery.

Regardless of all that, a new video that is buzzing around the Internet alleges that DJ Drama’s chains are on the way back to him. Furthermore, an Instagram account called @keep6ixsolid posted the clip in question. Hilariously, it also features the theme from The Godfather in the background. Whether he paid for the chains back or not, it’s still quite worrisome considering that we don’t know the full extent of the robbery. Maybe it turned more violent than threatening, so we hope that everyone involved is as safe and sound as the chains look.

Going back to that point about Drake, it’s interesting that it formed part of the conversation due to other recent events. Meek Mill, who also reconciled a beef with the 6ix God, recently took shots at DJ Drama, who was his former friend and collaborator. A lot of info exploded on his Twitter page, and he called Drama a “goofy over these h*es” among other jabs. “I asked Drama why he always speaking down on me with a few other words too, told him he’s a goofy,” he tweeted. “I also hit him when he tried to compare ‘Dreams And Nightmares’ to ‘[Just] Wanna Rock’ AND DOWNPLAY ME.”

“That man never did real charity in Philly in his life,” Meek continued his rant, among other tweets. “I just be saying bits parts online because it be too much to say… I be wanting it to be known when ion Rock wit these goofies … and I stand on my tippy toes when I see them so it’s no confusion before we even interact! ‘Drama queen over these females.’” For the latest news and updates on DJ Drama, log back into HNHH.

Rick Ross Is Gifting $300,000 In Gold & Diamond Chains At His Car Show

Few extracurricular events in the hip-hop world have gotten as much attention and hype as Rick Ross’ upcoming car show. Is a lot of that conversation due to his feud with fellow car show host DJ Envy, as they’ve sent each other shots back and forth? Well, yes, but well before that, Rozay made it clear that he would put on an opulent and lavish event for his community. In fact, he made that all the more clear with his latest Instagram promotion, where he revealed over $300,000 in gold and diamond chains as prizes for the event’s winners. Moreover, categories include “Best Car,” “Best Bike,” “Hustler Of The Year,” and many more.

Fortunately for the Promise Land’s host, previous obstacles that could’ve prevented the celebration from taking place resolved themselves shortly after they came up. For example, local officials originally did not give Rick Ross an official permit to be able to host the car show. However, earlier this week, the Biggest Boss confirmed that they gave him the all-clear on his Instagram page. As such, now the stage is set for his event to thrive, and the battleground with him and DJ Envy on each side has a clear view between them.

Rick Ross Shows Off His Car Show Prizes: Over $300,000 In Chains

However, there are plenty of people out there who think that beef has gone too far, including Fat Joe. “Don’t like what’s going on with Rick Ross and DJ Envy,” the New York rap icon said in an IG video. “Don’t like it. I love ’em both. Beautiful men in their own right, successful, do their thing. I don’t like where it’s going. I know I’ve had my share of beefing with people, but I don’t like it because they’re both beautiful, beautiful people.”

Meanwhile, this weekend will see the first stage of this “showdown,” with Envy’s show in Memphis (in benefit of Young Dolph’s family) taking place on Sunday, May 28. On the other hand, the MMG mogul will host his event at his Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, Georgia on Saturday, June 3. If one of those chains catches your eye, or what DJ Envy is offering, then you better find yourself a nice whip soon. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on DJ Envy, Rick Ross, and their car shows.

Kevin Hart And Jadakiss Wonder “How Many Chains Is Enough?”

In a recent episode of DraftKings’ Starting Five podcast, Kevin Hart and Jadakiss were met with a serious dilemma. Discussing the role that fashion has played in the NBA, Hart brought up the concept of rappers wearing way too many chains. He asked, “How many chains is enough?” Going on specify, “What’s the number?” Hart continued, “The real question is are people eating while they have this on? Are we swallowing? Like are we digesting food?”

He then went on to say that wearing that many chains is “just a lot of noise.” Host of the podcast Jadakiss jumped on, saying, “It sound like he doing the dishes.” He added, “[Like] he putting the forks back, [or] putting the spoons back in the drawer.” The rest of the podcast saw conversations surrounding Hart’s career, culture, and basketball.

Hart Calls Chains “A Lot Of Noise”

Earlier this month, Hart shared his feelings towards Ice Cube on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. “Cube might be one of the most genuine, kindest spirits that you can be around,” he shared. “He wants nothing but good for other people. He loves to see the people around him succeed- he’s such a creative mind.” Hart continued, “That’s all he does. He loves the foundation of creativity and is one of the most professional people I’ve worked with on set.”

Also this month, Method Man appeared on Kevin Hart’s own podcast Comedy Gold Minds. Method Man got candid about his mental health, sharing that, “I was my own shadow, meaning I was in my own way.” He also said he realized he “could not control the people around me, but I could control myself.” The artist said, “One thing that stood out for me, when I was younger – basically being a little dirty kid with nothing, no control over where I lived, what I ate, where I slept. But I had these sports – football and lacrosse – there I had control and I was good at it.” Method Man continued, revealing, “I had to look myself in the mirror and say, ‘I’m tired of myself. I want better for me, I have more to contribute, and start there.’ Self-check, absolutely. If you don’t, sooner or later, somebody else is gonna check you.”

Shannon Sharpe & Skip Bayless Get Death Row Chains From Snoop Dogg

Recently on the “Undisputed” talk show, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless had none other than Snoop Dogg grace their presence. Moreover, they discussed a whole host of topics together, including his love for the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James. However, Snoop also took the opportunity to bestow a special honor on the popular basketball commentary duo. At one point during their conversation, the Doggfather broke out Death Row chains to gift to both Bayless and Sharpe. From their bewildered and exciting reactions, you can tell that people know how special it is to receive such a gift from the record label’s current owner.

“Put the top on it,” Snoop Dogg remarked to Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless as he pulled the chains out. In addition to the actual chain’s quality, the piece features the iconic Death Row Records logo emblazoned on it. “See what it do — Oh, rose gold for the both of ’em. Ya’ll don’t get the yellow gold. Ya’ll get the rose gold.” After years of being one of the most prominent voices in basketball, they got points in the culture for other reasons.

Snoop Dogg Gifts Skip Bayless & Shannon Sharpe Death Row Chains

“You got the drip Skip,” Snoop told Bayless. “I’m surprised you don’t have your drip on today.” Of course, Shannon Sharpe could barely hold back a smile as he reacted to the surprise. “I was gonna ask for one of these,” he told the Long Beach legend. “I don’t have to ask for one now. Guess what? I’m coming out here tomorrow with it on. I’m gonna have to wear a sweater because they’re gonna have to see this. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not wearing a jacket, I’m wearing this tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, hoops aren’t the only thing on the “Murder Was The Case” MC’s mind when it comes to sports. Moreover, he recently joined a bid to own the NHL’s Ottowa Senators, competing against Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds. If he nabs it, he’ll become the NHL’s first Black owner. If not, at least he has plenty more success to see with Death Row Records- and plenty more chains to give out to those worthy. For the latest on Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless and more news on Snoop Dogg, return to HNHH.

Snoop Dogg Gifts Gillie Tha Kid & Wallo Death Row Records Chains

Snoop Dogg just gifted Gillie Da Kid and Wallo two Death Row Records chains, and the former seemed quite excited about it. Moreover, he shared the occasion on social media, recording his jubilant reaction to getting the cosign. “I’m a part of the Row, baby!” he screamed while laughing with his crew. “Oh s**t! I did not know you sent us no f***ing Death Row pieces, man. I love you! I’m on Death Row, b***h! I ain’t even giving Lo his s**t, I’m doubling up. Two Death Row chains!” Furthermore, the two Million Dollaz Worth Of Game cohosts likely appreciate the gesture a lot.

Also, hopefully it makes them feel a bit better about the recent backlash they received on social media. Such criticism came after they had J. Prince on the podcast, who went on to instigate beef with Offset over Takeoff’s death.”This Offset dude,” the Rap-A-Lot Records mogul began, insinuating that ‘Set and Take fell out before. “I ain’t gon’ leave him out because I’m real like this, you now? N***as be throwin’ rocks and hidin’ their hand.

Snoop Dogg Gifts Wallo & Gillie Some Death Row Chains

“I don’t like them type of individuals,” he continued. “And the truth of the matter is, one can dance and different things in front of different cameras and all kinds of shit… In reality, the truth of the matter is you wasn’t really right there with Takeoff when he was alive, you know what I mean? So for you to be taking these positions that you’ve taken—and I’ve got people everywhere, so I hear all kinds of things—I’mma just say this to you. Don’t ever put me in no position where I have to defend myself. That wouldn’t be healthy for you. I have to say that.”

Despite that controversy, their show is still going strong, with their most recent guests being Jermaine Dupri and Curren$y as of writing this article. Also, given that Snoop’s appeared on the show often, it’s great to see that connection remain despite it being a while since his last appearance. Still, maybe this mega another conversation is due soon on the popular podcast. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Snoop Dogg, Gillie Da Kid, and Wallo.
