Rick Ross Blasts DJ Envy On Funk Flex For Fraud Scheme

Rick Ross isn’t done with DJ Envy, who have been beefing for months over their competing car shows and pulling out dirt on each other. The latest battleground for this feud was live on the airwaves with Funk Flex, who joined the rapper in a takedown of The Breakfast Club‘s co-host. Not only that, but their disparaging remarks and jests also extended to the DJ’s radio partner Charlamagne Tha God, although it was all more comical than anything. Mostly, Rozay took aim at Envy by clowning his alleged real estate fraud scheme, which he staunchly denied despite continued accusations against him. It’s quite the lengthy and loud clip, and we’d expect nothing less from the Maybach Music Group mogul.

Moreover, it seems like Meek Mill was also in the building for this exchange, as he and Rick Ross have a lot to celebrate these days. Their new collab single, “Shaq & Kobe,” is making big waves right now, especially off of the strength of their full collab album announcement. Of course, this means that their press run is pretty exciting right now, even if they’re also using it to further social media beef. It’s quite bizarre to see, but considering the Carol City native’s attitude and approach on the Internet, it shouldn’t come as much surprise.

Rick Ross & Funk Flex Go At DJ Envy’s Alleged Scamming

After all, he even reached out to Tyrese for a collab, who’s also roped up in his own dispute with DJ Envy. As such, Rick Ross is here for all the smoke, and wants to fire on all cylinders and make friends out of the enemies of his enemy. Regardless of all of this speculation, Envy’s legal team also maintains that he isn’t involved at all in the scheme people are pinning on him. “DJ Envy also gave $500k as an investment, which he has not received back yet,” his lawyer claimed concerning his own victimization in this scam.

Meanwhile, there’s little reason to believe that these defenses would halt the Biggest Boss’ trolling. Even though it’s a contentious debate, the animosity between these two is clear as day. Let’s see if this Funk Flex appearance extends the beef to the radio space, too. With that in mind, stick around on HNHH for more updates and the latest news on Rick Ross and DJ Envy.

Rick Ross Responds To Fan Who Parachuted Into His Car Show Uninvited

Rick Ross experienced a significant increase in attendance and success at his car show compared to the previous year. The event took place on June 3 at his estate called the “Promise Land” in Fayetteville, Georgia. It garnered a massive turnout, with thousands of fans attending and performances by Meek Mill and Gucci Mane. There were many well-known artists present, including Tyler, the Creator, 2 Chainz, and Gunplay. Additionally, the event seemed to generate excitement within the local car enthusiast community.

However, the night took an unexpected turn. Afterward, a video emerged online showing Rick Ross addressing a fan who had apparently parachuted into the car show. Instead of being offended or angry, Ross’s response was surprisingly different. Contrary to expectations, Rick Ross appeared to be delighted rather than upset. Clearly, the fan was willing to go to great lengths to attend the car show. In the video, Ross is seen smiling and addressing the situation. He even expressed his curiosity to see the footage of the parachute entrance.

Ross: “Just Don’t Jump The Gate”

Surprisingly, Ross went on to express admiration for the daring fan and expressed hope that they wouldn’t face any legal consequences. However, he did express disappointment that he wasn’t informed in advance. “The only thing I didn’t like about it is he didn’t tell me what time to expect him jumping out of the goddamn plane and landing in my backyard,” Ross jokingly said. He mentioned that when he rushed to the scene, the fan was already being apprehended but had a big smile on his face and pleaded not to press charges.

Ross did leave fans with a warning, though. He said that if someone were to jump the gate, he would handle the situation differently. However, if they were to parachute, he just requested some prior notice. In addition to the incident with the parachuting fan, there were also complaints about the aftermath of the show. Reports indicated that a nearby plaza was allegedly trashed by attendees who couldn’t access the car show but decided to party there instead. While Ross’s attorney denied any connection between the rapper and the littering, local residents are calling for him to take responsibility. What do you think of the fan who parachuted in? Let us know in the comments!

Rick Ross Car Show A Smash Hit For Second Year In A Row

There has been a lot of speculation about the second edition of the Rick Ross Car Show. Things started positively, with Ross flexing the prize for the show winners. Later, the diamond-encrusted key would also be joined by some $300k chains. However, the excitement was somewhat overshadowed by a little of beef and a side of legal drama.

First, Ross’ neighbors attempted to get the car show blocked. Residents of Fayetteville, Georgia argued that the second running of the show would negatively impact their lives. That led to Ross’ permit being denied. However, Ross vowed that the show would go on. In the middle of all this, Ross started beefing with DJ Envy, who was throwing a rival car show around the same time as Ross. However, eventually, Ross was granted permission to hold his show and June 3 marked the big day.

The first major sight of the event was Rick Ross wandering around with a pair of lace purple panties on his head. But then came the concert series, which boasted an absolutely stacked roster. Lil Wayne had already been announced earlier in the year but fans were overjoyed to get sets from Meek Mill and Gucci Mane on the main stage as well. DJ Akademiks estimated that there were 30,000 people in attendance.

Elsewhere, Ross was seen linking up with Tyler, The Creator on the showgrounds. Furthermore, local law enforcement has praised Ross for how smoothly the event went. “He hired a really good team that put together a lot of good work for us,” Fayette County Sherrif Barry Babb said. “We’ve been able to work with multiple agencies, really the only thing with some minor inconveniences with traffic.” Additionally, only three medical incidents were reported, with all three being attributed to the weather. Temperatures hit 88 degrees in Fayetteville on Saturday afternoon. However, the positive endorsement of local authorities should make the process for next year’s event smooth sailing.

Rick Ross Is Gifting $300,000 In Gold & Diamond Chains At His Car Show

Few extracurricular events in the hip-hop world have gotten as much attention and hype as Rick Ross’ upcoming car show. Is a lot of that conversation due to his feud with fellow car show host DJ Envy, as they’ve sent each other shots back and forth? Well, yes, but well before that, Rozay made it clear that he would put on an opulent and lavish event for his community. In fact, he made that all the more clear with his latest Instagram promotion, where he revealed over $300,000 in gold and diamond chains as prizes for the event’s winners. Moreover, categories include “Best Car,” “Best Bike,” “Hustler Of The Year,” and many more.

Fortunately for the Promise Land’s host, previous obstacles that could’ve prevented the celebration from taking place resolved themselves shortly after they came up. For example, local officials originally did not give Rick Ross an official permit to be able to host the car show. However, earlier this week, the Biggest Boss confirmed that they gave him the all-clear on his Instagram page. As such, now the stage is set for his event to thrive, and the battleground with him and DJ Envy on each side has a clear view between them.

However, there are plenty of people out there who think that beef has gone too far, including Fat Joe. “Don’t like what’s going on with Rick Ross and DJ Envy,” the New York rap icon said in an IG video. “Don’t like it. I love ’em both. Beautiful men in their own right, successful, do their thing. I don’t like where it’s going. I know I’ve had my share of beefing with people, but I don’t like it because they’re both beautiful, beautiful people.”

Meanwhile, this weekend will see the first stage of this “showdown,” with Envy’s show in Memphis (in benefit of Young Dolph’s family) taking place on Sunday, May 28. On the other hand, the MMG mogul will host his event at his Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, Georgia on Saturday, June 3. If one of those chains catches your eye, or what DJ Envy is offering, then you better find yourself a nice whip soon. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on DJ Envy, Rick Ross, and their car shows.

Rick Ross Gets Official Approval For Car Show, Takes Shots At DJ Envy’s Wife

The beef between Rick Ross and DJ Envy over their respective car shows has been one of the more bizarre feuds of the year. Not only are they in relatively separate camps when it comes to their cultural contributions, but many critics of the spat believe that it’s gone a little too far for what it’s worth. Now, thanks to a recent Instagram Story post from Rozay, things just went a whole lot father in that direction. In the clip, he proposes a “one-time opportunity” of employment to The Breakfast Club host’s wife. As the prompt suggests, it’s not exactly a friendly offer.

“It’s the Biggest Boss,” Rick Ross started his video. “June 3rd, I’m providing jobs. DJ Envy-ous, I got a job for your girlfriend. This is a one time opportunity. Your girlfriend has the opportunity to be my pickleball paddle polisher. My pickleball paddle polisher! You hear me? Let her know. While they cleaning the pools…” and he proceeded to swing the paddle back and forth in a suggestive manner. “Yeah! Enjoy your day.

Rick Ross’ Message To DJ Envy’s Wife

“Now, I know this ain’t in DJ Envy book,” Rick Ross continued in a separate Story post. “I might help you sell some books, but your girlfriend faked an orgasm for two decades? Oh, she needs a motherf***ing paddle. Tell her I got her.” Furthermore, the last big development in this feud was the media personality dressing up as a correctional officer for his radio show. “I could tell he was rattled,” Envy remarked of the rapper’s response to his shots. “So I wore this today to make him feel a little more comfortable.” However, maybe Ross will be a little more comfortable now that he’s apparently gotten official approval to run his car show.

Rozay Shows Off Apparent Approval For His Event

As previously reported, it seemed like officials refused to give the official permit for the event to take place. Still, it seems like now there are little barriers to prevent the showdown from happening. Unfortunately, the beef got really nasty as a result, and is that ever worth it when both actors are trying to help their communities? Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest updates on Rick Ross and DJ Envy, and for more news on this beef.

Rick Ross Boasts His Massive Fire Truck For His Promise Land Car Show

Rick Ross is in heavy boasting mode ahead of his upcoming car show, even if the official permit doesn’t fall through. Regardless, he just showed off a huge fire truck on his Instagram Story to hype up the different whips he’ll have at the event. Not only that, but Rozay even got “The Promise Land Fire Department” emblazoned on the vehicle’s side to fully rep his much-anticipated and promoted festivity. Of course, his Instagram Story post also included some other cars in his highlights, but the big ol’ fire truck is clearly the main attraction. What’s more is that this is yet another way to flex on DJ Envy, who has a similar (and now rival) upcoming car show, as well.

“Since we on our car show, DJ Envy, you’ll never be on my level,” Rick Ross expressed on his IG Story. “For one, you do car shows with rappers and my dead homies. So what you doing in Memphis, that’s for Dolph and I believe Dolph legacy should live on. But make sure every penny you make, you donate to Dolph family. Ross also recently had his permit denied for his upcoming car and bike show. Rick Ross’ annual car show is in more danger than expected, as officials recently denied him a permit for the event. However, he is still set on hosting a good and lavish time for his guests, and wants his peers to see the benefits from it. Moreover, this comes after a lot of neighbors expressed concern for the car show, but Rozay has somewhat of a solution. He took to his Instagram Story to explain how his event will help the Fayetteville, Georgia community rather than harm it. Through his ideas and determined and capitalizing mentality, he tried to give his fellow citizens a way to make some money off his endeavors.

“You know what we did to the financial literacy of the community- not just Fayette, not just Fulton- it goes around,” Rick Ross began. “These Airbnbs going through the roof. Rick Ross Reacts To Officials Denying Car & Bike Show Event Permit: “It Must Go On”

Rick Ross won’t take no for an answer. As the Biggest Boss has been busy preparing for his upcoming annual car and bike show, his plans have been hit with a major roadblock. Documents obtained by XXL on Tuesday (May 16) reveal that his permit has been denied by Fayette County, who are prohibiting him from hosting the event at his Georgia mansion on June 3. The specific reason for the denial is that the permit “is not in compliance with Fayette County Zoning Ordinance.”

“Any decision to allow the 2022 event to move forward as a conditional use in the A-R Zoning District was made outside of the scope of authority of the then acting Director of Planning & Zoning/ Zoning Administrator,” the document further states. Ross has been talking about the event non-stop (particularly during his recent Drink Champs interview) and clearly isn’t letting the bureaucratic rain ruin his parade. He took to his Instagram Story this afternoon, letting fans know he has no plans of cancelling.

Rick Ross Responds to Denied Event Permit

“Breaking news, the Rick Ross Car Show June 3 goes on,” the Richer Than I Ever Been artist declared hours ago. “It’s a private event on private property with VIPs and you’re invited. Tickets are still available online. It’s going to be a beautiful event. Shoutout to the beautiful city of Fayetteville.” Rather than letting the denial get him down, the Mississippi-born lyricist is embracing the challenges coming his way as he moves forward.

“This when I become great during the challenges. That’s what I like. That’s why I was always one to initiate certain things because I love the challenge. I don’t have a problem going against the challenges because Ricky Rozay ready. Is it really a challenge?” he asked followers tuning in. Do you think that Rick Ross’ annual car and bike show will be shut down by police if he fails to get a permit by next month? Rick Ross’ Neighbors Are Trying To Kill His Car Show

Rick Ross loves cars. Last year, he started a car show on the grounds of his mansion in Georgia. Winners of the show walked away with a diamond-encrusted key. General reports suggested it was attended by at least 6000 people. However, some estimates place it at closer to 6500. Many famous faces and car enthusiasts were in attendance at the event last May.

This year, Ross wanted the event to be even bigger. The prize keys were bigger. Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform. He was hoping to top the 6500+ attendees from last year. However, it appears that not everyone in the Fayetteville area is a fan. It appears that some of his neighbors are trying to get the festival shut down ahead of its June 3 hosting.

Rick Ross’ Neighbors File A Petition Against Car Show

“I have the petitions here that we signed,” one neighbor said at an April 25 Fayette County Board of Commissioners meeting. Another neighbor testified that “Our quality of life was unnecessarily compromised.” Their claims stem from accounts that last year’s event brought traffic in the area to a stop, and caused major delays for residences. June 3 is a Saturday, meaning that if were to go ahead, the event could cause delays to people’s weekend plans. However, it is also something of a buzzkill move to go after what Ross is allowed to do on his property. Fayetteville is home to around 19,000 people. A southern migration has benefitted the town greatly, almost doubling the population from where it was in 2000.

“We feel locked out. It took me 40 minutes to get out of my subdivision,” testified a third individual. The opponents of Ross’ show also argue that Ross’ mansion and estate are not appropriately zoned to host a large-scale commercial event such as a car show. It is unknown if Ross, or a representative on his behalf, attended and testified at the meeting. The Board of Commissioners has not yet announced a ruling on whether Ross will be barred from hosting his show. Do you think Ross’ neighbors are out of line? Are you excited for his show? Follow along with all the latest updates here at HotNewHipHop.
