The Astroworld Festival tragedy of 2021 is one of the most infamous hip-hop history moments of the decade so far, and for good reason. Ten lives were lost, and hundreds more injured, and scrutiny for the event’s organization, planning, and execution followed immediately. While Travis Scott himself seems mostly cleared of all wrongdoing, there is still a lot of conversation around his personal responsibility and accountability. But even more important in the civil litigation against the rapper and Live Nation, the concert series organizers, are new reports from AllHipHop and other sources about what could’ve been prevented.

Furthermore, these new revelations indicate that Astroworld Festival’s Safery and Risk Director for 2021, Seyth Boardman, warned organizers about overcrowding before this aspect resulted in the tragedy, according to court documents reportedly obtained by AHH. Specifically, he made these claims days before they planned accommodated 50,000 festival patrons, a number that reportedly rose by 5,000 individuals on the day of Travis Scott’s concert series. In addition, these new filings reveal that organizers thought they had to account for five square feet per person due to the fire safety code. In fact, they reportedly had to hold the standard at seven square feet.

As such, this new scrutiny centers around the alleged irresponsibility displayed by Live Nation and Travis Scott by underestimating the space necessary to prevent a crowd surge or overcrowding. What’s more is that litigators specifically claim that 50,000 people fit in a space that should’ve accounted for a crowd of 34,500. Additional claims include a lack of action when it comes to folks entering the festival without a ticket and insufficient monitoring for those who needed help in the crowd. This is such a big element that prosecutors identified security breaches as a principal contributor to the disaster.

Meanwhile, there’s still significant legal action from about 4,900 patrons that seek billions of dollars in damages. Drake’s legal team still wants the court to remove him from these lawsuits despite performing that night alongside Scott, since he had no knowledge of security concerns or the festival’s organization. The Houston MC cooperated with police, and the current focus is on the safety guidelines and event planning that caused this tragedy. Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have been doing everything they can to promote their brand-new album, Vultures. Overall, the first volume has been a massive success. Subsequently, they are looking to drop the second volume on March 8th and volume three on April 5th. However, no one knows for sure if these projects will actually be on time. After all, Ye has been known to delay things from time to time. Luckily, the abundance of listening parties suggests that the album is, indeed, on the way.

Recently, Kanye found himself in Italy for a new Vultures listening party. Ye and Ty Dolla Sign were out in the country with some of their friends. They even took in a soccer match. Last night, they hosted the official listening party where songs from the upcoming two volumes were played. Overall, the night was a huge success and the fans were loving it. However, there was a security breach at one point, as you can see below. In the video, a fan jumps the barrier and rushes onto the ground level where he approaches Kanye.

Ye immediately dodges the fan while Ty Dolla Sign springs into action. He was able to grab hold of the intruder and kept him there until the security were able to move in. It was a pretty wild scene, but that is the kind of thing you can expect at a Ye show these days. It’s uncertain as to what the fan’s intentions were. He could have either been looking to hurt Ye or he was simply just trying to get close to his idol. For now, there is very little information on what went down.

Yung Miami Claps Back At Security Guard Who Called Her Out On TikTok

Earlier today, a TikTok started making the rounds online discussing an interaction with Yung Miami. A girl who worked as security at this year’s Super Bowl posted a video recapping some of her interactions with celebrities while there. But in the video she called out Miami specifically for being rude to her. She claimed she tried to talk to the rapper but was ignored. For that reason she accused Miami of being rude and even claimed that she wouldn’t do her job as security for the rapper if fans came after her.

Many in the comments came to Miami’s defense. They claimed that she didn’t owe security anything and might not have even heard the greeting. Eventually, the video got popular enough that Miami herself saw it and decided to defend herself in the comments. “How tf I’m suppose to hear you if one I’m on the phone. 2. You WHISPERED that’s my “good sis Caresha” like you’re literally whispering in the video! where in the video or where’s the audio of you trying to get my attention. Yung Miami Defends Herself Against Security Accusations

In the comments, some other fans come to Miami’s defense. “They don’t owe y’all nothing and if you security you need to be working and not fanning out” another top comment on the post reads. Other fans suggest that she may be failing her job as security by making the video in the first place.

“You security? You not even supposed to be talking to them let alone shooting TikTok’s of them” and “Girl don’t lose ya job tryna be funny lol” two other comments read. One such narrative was espoused by former NFL star Brandon Marshall. While on the Paper Route Show, Marshall claims to have inside information on what went down in front of Taylor’s booth. As he explains, Kanye West bought a ticket that would put him in front of her booth. Therefore, he would be on camera with her throughout the evening. As Marshall explains, Swift didn’t like this and made some calls. Subsequently, Kanye allegedly got kicked out.

Needless to say, the authenticity of the report is questionable.

Mark Zuckerberg’s Hawaii Compound Features Massive Underground Bunker: Report

Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly building a mysterious underground bunker on his compound in Hawaii, according to a new investigation by Wired. Citing “a source familiar with the development,” the outlet says that “a tunnel that branches off into a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter” will connect two main residences. The shelter boasts a concrete-filled metal door, an escape hatch, an 18-foot-tall water tank and pump system, as well as agriculture and ranching structures to produce food.

In addition to the bunker, the property will feature “a web of 11 disk-shaped treehouses” connected by rope bridges “allowing visitors to cross from one building to the next while staying among the treetops.” A 6-foot stone wall also protects the entire 1,400-acre property. Zuckerberg has reportedly already hosted two tech industry events there.

A spokesperson for Zuckerberg and Chan told PEOPLE in a statement: “Mark and Priscilla value the time their family spends at Ko’olau Ranch and in the local community” and are working to preserve the ranch’s “natural beauty.” “When they acquired the property, they rescinded an existing agreement that would have allowed for portions of the property to be divided into 80 luxury homes. Under their care, less than one percent of the overall land is developed with the vast majority dedicated to farming, ranching, conservation, open spaces and wildlife preservation. This includes a large cattle ranching program, organic ginger and turmeric farms, a nursery dedicated to native plant restoration, and partnering with Kauai’s foremost wildlife conservation experts to protect native birds and other endangered or threatened wildlife populations.”

Further details about the property are unclear. Zuckerberg prohibits workers from sharing any information about it publically. As is the case with most of his past album rollouts, Vultures‘ arrival hasn’t been going as smoothly as Kanye West was hoping. Instead, the rapper’s Miami rave shut down early. Thankfully, his “Hot S**t” collaborator Lil Durk came through to save the day by streaming from an unknown location. Elsewhere, he’s having issues with sample clearance from the Backstreet Boys on his “Everybody” song, as well as with Nicki Minaj’s verse on “New Body.”

While he attempts to convince his fellow artists to help his vision see the light of day, Ye is obviously taking his security seriously. In the video below, a multi-car motorcade transports him and his entourage to their next location. The 46-year-old’s eldest child, North West, is celebrating with him at various rollout events this month, so it’s not entirely surprising to see him moving in Presidental fashion. Whether it comes to their online presence or day-to-day events, the Yeezy founder has made it clear that his family’s safety isn’t something he plays about.

For now, the new Vultures release date remains unknown. Nardo Wick Fan Attack Has Charlamagne Tha God Calling For The Rapper To Ditch His Crew

Charlamagne Tha God has urged Nardo Wick to ditch his long-time crew in favor of professional security after his entourage brutally assaulted a fan. Charlamagne argued that the job of security is not to “beat people up” but instead make real-time decisions to best ensure the safety of their charge. That requires a level of training that Charlamagne argues Wick’s current crew simply doesn’t have. Furthermore, Charlamagne noted that sticking with his crew could legal to more legal headaches. The fan who was assaulted by two members of Wick’s team has already retained a lawyer.

The music world is still reeling from the horrifying video of two of Wick’s crew assaulting a fan. The video, captured by venue CCTV, shows that the man was merely trying to grab a selfie with the rapper and did not appear to pose any kind of threat. However, as the video shows, two of Wick’s crew took it upon themselves to violently assault the fan. The consequences of that attack are still unfolding.

Nardo Wick Speaks On Fan Attack

Wick was quick to issue a statement distancing himself from the actions of his entourage after it happened. “I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any type of way. I expressed to him and his momma how sorry and concerned I was that it happened to him multiple times before anything was even posted of on the internet. And I sent his mama my number instantly the night it happened. And I was even gone make a post to find out who he was before his mama text me.” Wick goes on to explain how things got out of hand so quickly. I can’t control another grown man actions, I aint know that was gone happen and I was mad when it happened.” Wick wrote on social media.

Furthermore, the two perpetrators of the attack – 34-year-old Zachary L. Benton and a 15-year-old male – turned themselves in on December 1. This came after police issued a warrant for the two men. Both men are expected to face felony assault charges. Furthermore, the unnamed 15-year-old will face an additional charge for being in possession of a gun while wearing a face mask. Additionally, TMZ learned that Wick has distanced himself from the two men. There are not part of his core crew, and instead have been described as “friends of friends”.

Reportedly, his concerns began when the two of them ran into each other at a hotel in Dubai. According to Ye, they’ve had their fair share of issues in the past, resulting in him feeling threatened by Pasternak. New reports suggest, however, that Pasternak was the one who felt like he was in danger.

Sources claiming to have been at the hotel recently spoke with TMZ, stating that the trainer had actually called security on West. They say that Pasternak was attempting to make a dinner reservation when the hitmaker approached him, looking for a hug. Moreover, her security guard was carrying her offstage from a club performance when one of the venue’s own security guards grabbed her behind as she passed him by. Then, the rapper pointed him out to her guard, who presumably confronted the assailant about the inappropriate contact. As of writing this article, it’s unclear whether this will result in any legal action, but it seems like it wrapped up relatively quickly.

Unfortunately for the St. Louis MC, her sexuality and artistic identity lead many to unrightfully criticize her- or take advantage of her, in this instance.
