[WATCH] Key Glock Releases the New Video for “Play For Keeps”
With “Play For Keeps,” a new video single from the upcoming deluxe edition of Yellow Tape 2, Glock channels his inner Fast & Furious. Glock glides over unique piano chords and booming subwoofers as he delivers some of his most electric flows on the Sledgren-produced track.
Glock is seen in the video for “Play For Keeps” surrounded by the riches of his autonomous domination. Glock illustrates that few things are more deadly than a man with alternatives, bouncing through a list of dream cars including a Cullinan, a McLaren, and a Hellcat.

Key Glock Gets Candid About His Life In His Flashy ‘Play For Keeps’ Video
Towards the end of last year, Memphis rapper Key Glock arrived with his second album Yellow Tape 2. The project was his second full-length release of the year after he teamed up with the late Young Dolph for their Dum And Dummer 2. The project’s 20 songs were delivered without a single guest feature as Key Glock took care of all the album’s vocal duties. That could change soon as he prepares to drop a deluxe version of the project at the end of the month. Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe) is set to arrive on March 25, and ahead of its arrival, Key Glock returns with a new song and video.
Key Glock keeps things flashy in his new video for “Play For Keeps.” The visual sees him surrounded by a collection of yellow luxury vehicles — appropriate for his Yellow Tape 2 project. Key Glock raps confidently into the camera while flexing his jewelry and showing off his shoe game. It’s a promising single that highlights what’s to come on Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe).
The upcoming re-release will add 10 songs to the project’s original 20 tracks. In addition to “Play For Keeps,” Key Glock has also released “Proud” and “Pain Killers” as singles from the upcoming deluxe release.
You can listen to “Play For Keeps” in the video above.
Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe) is out 3/25 Paper Route EMPIRE. You can pre-save it here.

Key Glock Walks A Goat In His ‘Painkillers’ Video To Announce The Deluxe Edition Of ‘Yellow Tape 2’
Does anyone else feel like rappers are taking this GOAT thing a little too far? Not only have a bunch of rappers gone around calling themselves the GOAT (an acronym meaning “Greatest Of All Time” as first coined by LL Cool J on his 2000 eighth studio album, The G.O.A.T.), but they’ve actually taken to throwing images of actual goats all over their videos and album covers.
Lil Durk added a couple of extra heads to the goat in his, Lil Baby, and Polo G’s “3 Headed Goat” video in 2020, which made it look like something out of Greek mythology. That same year, Rylo Rodriguez turned himself into a photoshopped faun on his Goat In Human Form cover, drawing amused reactions from rap fans on Twitter. And last year, Young Dolph and Key Glock called themselves “A Goat & A Dolphin” for single from their joint album, Dum & Dummer.
Now, Key Glock is keeping that theme going with his new video for “Painkillers,” in which he walks a goat on a leash through a snowy mountaintop scene, which also continues a motif from his and Dolph’s Dum & Dummer sequel last year. He also cruises through the snow in his custom yellow Rolls Royce Phantom, which picks up a thread from his Yellow Tape cover — which is apropos, considering “Painkillers” is one of 10 new tracks that will appear on the deluxe edition of Yellow Tape 2, also announced today. The deluxe reissue will land at DSPs on March 25 via Paper Route Empire, Glock’s first solo release since the death of Young Dolph in a shooting late last year. You can pre-save the album here and check out the video above.
